Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some gifts from the Trick or Treat Lane event, where not only will you find offers for 31% off, you will find exclusive items for sale and a gift from each designer. No group needed, just buy the little bags outside each display for $0L. This delightful annual event opened today, and lasts until November 2nd so you have a bit of time to visit and enjoy. It was certainly crowded on its opening day, of course SL is generally busy on the weekends anyway so that isn't a surprise. Whenever you go, you will get a sneak peek here and now of some of the many generous gifts that await you.
My first look is the .:cheeky:. Drivana - broken Dress! Black, which comes in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya. From the looks of that blood splatter, I'm guessing that the dress isn't the only thing that's broken ;) It was like that when I got it, honest! The dress does have several little rips and tears scattered about, which certainly adds interest.
We can see two gifts here, starting with my flirty swimsuit from Secret October called *SO* Pumpkin Swimsuit. It comes in a Maitreya size and has a laced up front with a modest rear view. If you're a Hocus Pocus fan, you'll recognize my necklace, the gift from The Little Bat called !TLB Winifred's Necklace. I could instantly hear her calling "boooooook!" in my head as soon as I saw it. There is a handy resize feature built in, just give it a gentle click.
This dress is our gift from {Get Frocked} called Trick or Treat Dress, and it just might drive you batty with that Halloween feeling ;) It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP, all featuring a studded collar and a colony of bats on the bodice. (I confess, I had to look up the correct name for a group of bats, was initially going to call it a flock but had a feeling that was wrong.) The long sleeves are great for autumn, and the short skirt with daring slit add sex appeal.
[Witchcraft] is offering not just one but two colors of their Ava Halloween Dress as their free gift for all visitors. The orange and the lime are each provided in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. The silhouettes of spiders, lace, and a spooky graveyard are fantastic for the season.
My final look of the night is a closer view of my lipsticks tonight, which are our gift from alaskametro<3 called "Kiss of Death" lipstick - FATPACK. There are 6 colors to suit any skin tone or outfit, each provided as appliers for Catwa, Lelutka, and Omega along with the system layers shaped for Catwa, Lelutka, or classic. Those are also called "bakes on mesh" layers, since that should be available within SL soon and we will have the ability to wear those system layers on mesh heads/bodies. Meanwhile I hope you noticed that the lower lip of this style has a few ghoulish additions...close up we can see that there are little skulls watching us!
It was a tiring but fun day, although it felt like everyone and everything was running behind schedule. I contributed to that by chatting longer than expected with a couple of people at the farmers market, but I wasn't the only one who did that. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some hunt prizes to share, from the Greatest Fear Hunt. It is a $1L gridwide hunt that has us looking for tiny evil jack o'lanterns, and their website has a tab for prize previews as well as the tab for hints. The locations are listed on both, so you can easily find the participating stores. It runs until the end of October, so there is plenty of time to find some spooky bargains. I have been thinking about my greatest fear lately because of my nightly habit of listening to Harry Potter audiobooks to fall asleep (I'm on Prisoner of Azkaban with Harry learning the patronus charm) and wondering what my boggart would reflect...so far I genuinely cannot decide! There are creatures out there that inspire fear in me, some people, and hard to explain situtations. Fortunately the hunt prizes are nothing to be afraid of, and the single linden cost to claim each is only scary in how low it is.
First we have the prize from :.C!L.: called KittyFear MeshSweater & OmegaLegging Set. The playful sweater comes in standard fitmesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. Our leggings with cat silhouettes are provided in a system layer as well as an Omega applier. Doesn't that top look like someone startled Hello Kitty so much that her bow flew off and her usually hidden mouth appeared?
@AdReNaLiZeD@ has this intriguing costume waiting inside their jack o'lantern, appropriately named Zombie Girl. The dress comes in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes (5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink) and the skin is actually a makeup layer with a full body system layer and Omega appliers for head and body. This prize is great for a Halloween costume or to wear to a roleplaying sim (something like The Walking Dead) or even just randomly for fun.
Next we see the prize from The Sissy Bar, named for the hunt itself. It includes the one piece outfit of sweater and leggings in standard mesh sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, as well as the matching heels in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink Medium/MID plus TMP High sizes. The image on the front reads "Madame Pele, Hawaiian Goddess of Fire and Volcanoes" so I did a little research and found out that she is part of several legends surrounding the creation of Hawaii. Interesting stuff!
I look ready for a haunted carnival in the prize from Get Frocked, their Mini Dress - Greatest Fear Hunt. It sounds like it was created especially for this hunt, which is an added bonus to finding this treat. It comes in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine.
My final look of the night is the hunt prize from Wiccan Wears called ~WW~ Scarlett - Midnight w/Red Trim. The top and skirt are each provided in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP, with ruffles and a daring design that wonderfully suits the dramatic color combo. I appreciate that it suits the hunt's theme without being limited to it, so you can wear this lovely gift year round.

Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is back on the Twisted Hunt trail, showing you some of the wonderful prizes found inside those spinning cubes. Remember, this is known as the hardest hunt in SL, so be sure to check out their website for guidelines and helpful tips. There are up to 10 visible decoys in addition to the real cube at each stop, and as you can guess from my title tonight the theme this round is Inferno. That inspired lots of fiery looking prizes, and some fascinating side hunts :) There were some very familiar stores along with a few that were new to me, so I enjoyed both aspects of this challenging event.
First we have the {Get Frocked} Twisted Hunt Gown, a lustrous bare shouldered gown with slender draped straps and a flirty slit in the front. The prize includes standard mesh sizes plus versions for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine.
This fun dress is one of the prizes from Little 2 Large, who actually have 3 main prizes and 7 side hunt prizes waiting for you. This L2L Inferno Dress comes in fitmesh standard sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions, and there is even a mens shirt, vest, and pants included in this prize. The other main prizes are for other types of avatars. For this look we also visit Roped Passions to find their cube, packed with a male prize (shirt) and a female prize. That would be the (RP) Inferno Heels I am wearing here, which come in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High. These will look terrific with many of the hunt prizes this round that have a flame pattern on them, but I can also see using them to spice up a little black dress.
This look is from the cube at Dramazone, appropriately named Devilish V1. It starts with a dress (with built in panties) in a Maitreya size, adorned by fingers attachments for left and right breast and pelvis. It also includes animated wings, the animated tail, horns, fork with dancing flames, and heels plus skull add-ons for the heels in Maitreya size. (Confession- I am wearing Slink High feet and they almost fit!) You can wear this with as many or as few of the additions as you wish, go full on devil or just a bit impish ;) There is also a Devilish V2 in this cube, with appliers for a bodysuit and stockings instead of a mesh dress.
To claim this alluring bra and panty set (and a matching pair of boxers for the guys) you will need to find the cube at Applique` Chic. Their AC: Twisted Hunt Gift Womens comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. I love the use of the exact texture of the cubes, it makes for a sexy souvenir of the Inferno round.
For my final look of the evening I am still wearing the Applique` Chic prize, but have added the Deadly Nightshade gift of .~DN~. Hell Cube Typer. This unisex prize consists of the typer to add and the optional base that can be adjusted for height. Add your attachments and they are invisible until you type in local chat, when they animate and flame on!
Whew, what a day...it started off with shocking bad news...my high school boyfriend (feels like several lifetimes ago, wasn't super serious) had recently gotten married and his wife died suddenly yesterday, the day before their 1 month anniversary. I was so truly happy for him to have finally found the happiness he deserves, and it's heartbreaking to know it was taken away so soon. I went to my usual farmers market with a heavy heart, but managed to enjoy myself because of the awesome people I get to see there every week. Hiya everyone! Tonight we continue our journey to Atlantis, which is the theme of the Twisted Hunt Spring 2018 round. The cubes are beautiful blue and gold, the decoys are plentiful, and the challenge level is sky high ;) The thing is, I truly enjoy the creativity that the designers show us with their displays and ability to hide the little spinning cubes that you just might start dreaming about. I haven't had any cube dreams yet this round but sure have from previous ones! I do recommend looking over their website if this is your first Twisted experience, and joining the group if you think you might need to ask for hints.
When you find the cube at Get Frocked, you too will be able to lace yourself into this lovely Twisted Spring Hunt Dress as your reward. It comes in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, with so many terrific details like the cube pattern on one of the layers. I accessorized with the Lantian Flox prize, which is called L/Fx Poseidon Trident Necklace v3 Pearl. There are two sizes included in the gift, and as you can see from the inset it does have pearl accents alongside the intricate trident. I am wearing the small size, the large is probably suitable for male avatars.
The EKC has a side hunt for us to enjoy, and one of the four prizes from it is this terrific Mers & Cocktails Dress. It comes in Hourglass and Physique sizes (could possibly fit others with some alpha tweaking) and a HUD that allows you to choose from 4 different textures, two of which can be seen above. It is a very shapely dress with eye-catching laces on the sides, and the mermaid fish scales of the pattern work well with its style.
If there is roleplay in your future, then you especially need to find the right cube at Dreaming Thicket. This is their Atlantis Outfit, and there are male and female versions included, each with and without the outer robe, and both male and female boots provided as well. Like many of our prizes, there are images of cubes present, as a fun reminder that you accomplished something remarkable by finding all these wonderful prizes.
There is something intriguing about this gown from MystRie, called Atlantis Dress, and I believe it is the very subtle swirls of deep gold that are catching my attention. There is a male prize hiding in a different cube, while this one holds fitmesh standard sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. I think it also appeals to the Aquarius in me, the sign of the water bearer despite being an air sign.
My final look of the evening is a closer view of the nails I have been sporting tonight, the prize from Inevitable Madness. Their gorgeous Atlantic Pearl Nails include HUDs for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and Vista, with 6 designs in vivid blue and/or shiny gold, a couple of which are decorated with pearls from the deep oceans. This is a very versatile set of nails with plenty of compatibility for a wide range of mesh hands and feet, which is much appreciated.

The next cart we visit at The Wash is Luziefee, where you can indulge your casual or seasonal clothing cravings. The outfit on the left is their Maisie Green, which includes system layers as well as Omega and Afrodite appliers. Because of the length of the shirt, I am wearing the top and pants layers from the shirt applier and the underwear layer for the pants. For day to day wear I would layer a sweater or t-shirt beneath this, but as is would be fun for a mature/adult Halloween party.

The texture looks like softest suede, and you could use accessories to make this into a Halloween costume like the witch it's named for or a cavewoman or even a pirate. I am still under the weather but decided to try blogging instead of just sitting around coughing and pouting. I wanted to be more productive than my cough! Okay, yes that was bad, but at least my bizarre sense of humor is still here and they do say laughter is the best medicine. Tonight we are going to peek at more wonderful selections from Rally To Rescue, an event to raise money for Operation Delta Dogs which trains rescued dogs to be service animals for veterans. Purchase any item from Rally To Rescue or drop some lindens into one of the donation kiosks, and 100% of your lindens will go towards this meaningful cause. Another treat I have for you tonight is a parade of nail polishes from Hello Dave, which you can claim for free (no group tag needed) if you complete their very challenging Halloween Hunt. Set aside a decent amount of time for this, as you will be exploring the lovely Moochie sim (every nook and cranny!) for 42 hunt objects which are nearly all different, and only by finding each and every item on the list will you be able to claim the prize pack of 25 fantastic nail designs. This is their Long Sleeve Oopsie Dress Magic, and I am wearing #3 on the left with #7 on the right, chosen randomly since they are all great designs. Each comes in a Maitreya fit and can be yours for a $200L donation each. I am wearing a pair of pasties beneath that I found on the marketplace from Mad', which include appliers for Lolas, Maitreya, Omega, Physique, and TMP, but for variety you can also try layering this dress over jeans, a tank top, maybe even a bodysuit.
{Get Frocked} is offering a few seasonal looks you can purchase at Rally To Rescue, including this Shift Dress - Skulls. It comes in fitmesh standard sizes along with Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, and just look at that fun texture! You can pick this up for $100L donation, or choose one of their other offerings for similar prices. This way, you can look extra beautiful this season and feel good knowing you are helping animals and veterans.
Time to peek at some of the Hello Dave pretties :) On the left of the photo (my right hand) is the Hello Dave - Nail Appliers - Afraid of the Dark, and on the right (left hand) is Bonfire Sparks. Each HUD offers 5 designs that mix together so well, and are compatible with Slink, Omega, Maitreya, and Vista.

One last peek of the evening, clearly continuing our Halloween theme superbly, we have Eyeball Soup on the left of the photo and Frenchenstein on the right side.
