The plaid is intriguing in monochromatic like this, and the short hem of the skirt gives a particularly cheeky view from behind ;)

Next we have the lovely [seeker] Enna Print 03 outfit, a pairing of cropped top and low cut miniskirt that each lace up on both sides. Isn't that floral pattern pretty? Many times we think of bright assorted colors for flowers, but these softer ones are a terrific change :) Our gift includes Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Petite, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu sizing, as well as a metals HUD for each piece with 8 colors. I'm a big fan of asymmetrical styles, and this one's got the hem going high on the right while the top dips from bare right shoulder to full long sleeve on the left. Its belt is a separate attachment so you can choose to omit if you wish, and both will fit Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The enclosed HUD will let you pick from 20 colors each for the main dress, trim, and belt. I'm preparing for a busy weekend, which is slightly unusual for me...I'll be going back to the farmers market I used to go to weekly, for the first time in over 2 years if I feel up to it in the morning. Then dinner at my parents', where my dad is recovering from the procedure for his A-fib (cardioversion) that apparently did not work so he will go back on medication until a new plan is devised. I'll get to talk to them more about that tomorrow, so trying not to worry too much right this instant. Telling me not to worry is like telling the sun not to shine though, LOL, so I'm trying to think peaceful thoughts and take deep slow breaths. Happy Uber-Versary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are helping the Uber Event celebrate a huge milestone, their 10th anniversary round :) How do we celebrate such things in SL? Well, quite often that involves gifts for the visitors, and this is one of those instances as there are shiny teal giftboxes at nearly every display for $0L with no group tag needed. There was one (not shown) set for sale for $10L and one set to a group (also not shown), otherwise all are free with click or purchase for zero. From the landing zone there are two openings with paths that don't connect, so be sure to check one side fully then walk through the landing area and over to the other half :) It's worth it as you'll see, and I have always been delighted with every visit to Uber and their team of talented designers. 

My first look is two gifts combined that made me whisper "ooh yeah!" out loud when I tried them on together :) [The Forge] Arwen Top, Black Lace is a fantastic gift of bra and top each in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We can wear the strapless bra alone or with the sheer lace shrug, and did you notice the double chains across the back? Those are holding the see-through bra in place quite nicely. Then I added our *CK* Runway Skirt FATPACK gift from Candy Kitten. This fun denim miniskirt is cut low on the hips and has lots of terrific options. There are eBody, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes included, as well as a HUD with 15 choices for the skirt, 15 colors for the belt, and 2 metals. Three of the skirt fabrics have the images you see above on them, with the rest being solid denim hues. 

Have Unequal is offering a lovely free gift called [HU] Hadley LongShirt_Stone&White Dots !! . At first glance you might think of a retro shirt dress, but look closer and you'll see the flirty details :) It fits Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Petite X mesh bodies, and includes a handy HUD with fabric or wool textures (wool is on the left above, slightly striped) and lots of other choices - 18 textures for collar and cuffs, 6 button colors, 13 for the belt, 6 metals, and 6 harness metals. There are also options to show or hide the belt, the harness, and even the lower portion of the dress so the entire skirt can go poof if you wish. 

Next we see another very versatile treat, the [seeker] Aly GiftPack. For example, I have the midriff section hidden on the right above :) 

Summer is on its way out for the year, but it can stick around all year long in SL and especially if you're wearing this cutie! The Carol's Store - Izzie Dress Blue looks just as beautiful coming and going, thanks to the crossed straps tied sweetly in the back and the ruffled empire waist. There are Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Momma, and Reborn mesh body sizes. The floral pattern looks so pretty in blue!

My final look of the evening is a generous gift with lots of sex appeal, the Havoc. Remi Dress. Fatpack. The style looks like a slim fitting dress slit open in the front, tied very loosely to show off cleavage and midriff, and layered over a miniskirt of the same length as the dress. We receive sizes for Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, as well as a HUD with an impressive 38 colors to select from. So many amazing choices!

It was a fairly typical Monday here, oh and I wanted to mention in case anyone else is having crashing issues with Firestorm and the new PBR release...with Xan's advice I did a clean reinstall over the weekend and found folders and files for 4 different versions on my PC from prior installs (not clean). I was really hopeful that things would be better, and there was a slight improvement as far as not crashing the first night even after testing with lots of teleporting and loading crowded places. My lag has increased considerably though and I seem to be rebuilding my entire inventory each time I login, as though I'd cleared cache (which I did not!) but then this morning I crashed for the first time since reinstalling. So where does that leave me, you may wonder? Pretty much waiting for Firestorm to release a better version, while considering the possibility of rolling back to the prior version if things get too rough. Cosmo-versary Goodies

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we've got a part two of a part two, LOL, with another post of group gifts from Cosmopolitan Event's 12th anniversary. They do 2 rounds per month so both of April's are celebrations of their impressive achievement :) There are some designers from the first round and some fresh faces, many of which have new gifts which we can claim by clicking the wooden crates at their displays with the Cosmopolitan group tag active. It always makes me happy to see an event packed with high quality offers, and knowing their longevity makes it even more special to visit.

My first look of the evening is the stunning [ADD] Phyllis Dress - Yellow gift. The style is so flirty, with a single strap crossing over and some wedge cutouts down the left side, covering all the essentials yet giving tantalizing glimpses. It fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with 7 metals for studs and 10 colors for the built-in C-string, with options to turn both on/off and materials on/off. I also noticed after taking the photos that the very top options are latex or leather, so you've got two views of the latex here and you can see the leather for yourself when you claim this free treat :) I do apologize for not seeing it sooner, it's a pretty detailed HUD and I'm grateful for all the possibilities.

Next I changed into our HER - ELIS BODYSUIT, another irresistible gift that I am very thankful for. There are versions with and without sleeves included, each in sizing for Erika, Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Hourglass, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The high cut leg makes for a thong styling for the bottom, and the sleeves still leave a bare wedge on the shoulders for an extra bit of showing off ;)

MELODY is offering their sexy CHIARA FATPACK dress as the gift for this round, and I'm loving it! The shredded sections add such a playful touch, and the vibrant colors we get to choose from make it even more special. There are 20 colors via HUD, and the dress itself comes in sizes for Kalhene, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies.

I've been trying to figure out what celebrity this gift reminds me of, with no luck yet...any thoughts? :) It is our [Din] Micol Dress/Cardigan/Panties gift, and those are 3 separate pieces so you can wear them all or just one or two if you prefer. They are provided in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD to turn on or off the materials and shine. The bodice looks like it's held up by magic, lol, and the cardigan is just a mini shrug but with long sleeves that flare slightly at the wrists. Such an intriguing look!

My final look of the evening is [seeker]_Greta_Palette4, a truly beautiful outfit that is also ours for free with that Cosmopolitan group tag. The top and skirt each come in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kupra Jelly Belly, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu sizes, with an on/off HUD for the slightly darker middle section of the top. The skirt has two bold openings on the left hip, and there are so many great details on both pieces! I'm a fan of the pastel green and teal for spring, and the style also seems summery, so this is going to come in very handy for the foreseeable future. 

My day turned out to be quieter than I expected, as the housemate is not feeling well so no outing again. I need to get 2 in before Sunday, so I'm starting to run out of days here. This is generally how things go around here, plans get changed and postponed a lot, so I am not surprised but perhaps a little frustrated. Otherwise I'll be checking out another event's anniversary round, and have a few groups' gifts in mind to share soon too. Dozen Years of Cosmo

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to help the Cosmopolitan event celebrate their 12th anniversary, which is such an impressive achievement in this virtual world of ours where time tends to be so condensed and fashions change in a snap. Cosmo has consistently brought us exclusive offerings from top designers, and when April rolls around we get to help them celebrate not just once but twice since their rounds are just 2 weeks long :) This is round one, and open until the 13th so please join their free group if not already in it and head on over quickly! The gifts are in cute wooden crates, and I spotted them at around half or more of the displays. 

My first look of the night is our [seeker]_Fauxy_Choco gift, a cleverly crafted strapless mini dress with a front panel held in place with 3 belts and a zipper. One really entertaining part of spring in my area is hearing the frogs in the evenings, so the KZ Set Ariel Frog gift really made me smile. It's a very versatile dress that clings to our curves and has playful openings like the left thigh slit and the daring bodice. If someone asked me to describe my Wednesday in one word, I think I'd have to say "stormy". The weather was nasty, loud thunder woke me up a few times, and the wind is still fairly strong so it's not clear yet. Otherwise it was fine though, rather unremarkable, and I'm planning my next outing tomorrow which will be a grocery store.
