Sweets for SLFO Group

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are exploring some of the many stores who are a part o the SLFO (SL Frees and Offers) group, looking for treats available for this particular group. You can usually find them near the red and white SLFO group joiner sign, which you can click for a link in local chat in case you aren't already a member of this free group. I'm sure you can tell that I highly recommend them :) I've shared their gifts here many times before, and fully intend to do so in the future from time to time. 

First up, we see the flirty ALWAYS BLOSSOM Nicole Amethyst Jumpsuit. This gift is up on their 3rd floor, so you'll want to click next to the elevator doors where it says the floor and description to teleport up there. This one piece outfit is designed for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with a strip across the bust and a playful opening beneath to show off some midriff. If you're a fan of purple as I am, this color is a bonus reason to pick up this terrific gift :)

Belle Epoque has an intriguing outfit for us to claim, their Stephy GIFT. Who knew that black and white tweed could be so flirty and versatile? The top, sleeves, and skirt are all provided in sizing for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The sleeves being separate is handy so we can choose to leave them off if we wish, although I'm really enjoying the way they are surrounded by crisscrossed laces that mimic the sides of the skirt. This brand is so consistent with high quality and style that I am not even surprised, just impressed :)

We all need some humor in our lives, so the Tastic-High Five Top gift just might bring some to your day. There is also a matching gift for the guys, and they both read "Some people just need a high-five...in the face...with a chair" with a woozy looking emoji. Now I'm not one to advocate violence, but I also did spend much of the late 90s watching wrestling in person that often involved chairs and other accessories (ECW, if you know you know) so I did think of scripted entertainment. I would never take this shirt as instructions, but I will wear it as a warning that I am not in the mood for someone else's nonsense (the block button is my only weapon). My dental visit went pretty smoothly yesterday, but I was certainly too tired and groggy to even think about attempting a blog post last night ;) As for today, well it was nice until a few moments ago when the housemate informed me that the dreaded house-pest guest is coming this weekend, bleh. That makes my safe space feel so much less safe, as he is a peculiar and unfriendly type person who sets off all my inner alarm bells. Housemate has been friends with him for over 30 years though, so I don't think I am genuinely in danger other than the usual cat dander from his clothing giving me allergy and asthma issues for several days. It's just one of those things, and I'm mostly annoyed that somehow the dentist wasn't the scariest or worst part of my week after all. Dreaming With Dove

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're back at the Doves Dream event, with lots of exclusive offers and a group gift at nearly every display. The group is the same as for Palomma Plaza, an all free bounty of gifts where The Free Dove used to be. We lost Palomma "Dove" Casanova in 2023, but her spirit of generosity lives on as long as we still honor her memory :) Her RL birthday was the 11th which was the opening date of this annual event, and we have until the 11th of April to complete our shopping and gift claiming. I've got tons of treats to show you from this sweet event, so this is part two of who knows how many posts ;) 

I started the evening with our MadCatCreations gift called MCC - woman - tank dress pink latex. They also have a men's gift too, and a full perm version at a different booth, so that's a triple thank you to them :) Our tank dress comes in sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, Mounds, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies. The texture  is such a fun one, with the highlights from the shine of the latex!

Our ALWAYS BLOSSOM Teresa Dress Spring Colors gift has several pastel hues on their HUD that we can choose from, but black is also an option if you prefer :) There are a total of 5 colors on that HUD and the ability to adjust the sheerness of the solid (non-lace) portions of the dress, so it is quite versatile. The dress itself fits Erika, Legacy, Bombshell, Free, Perky, Lucy Body, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Ncore, Prima, Petite, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies. The lace portion does reveal some booty cleavage back there, lol, so choose your destination wisely ;) I say that because I don't want anyone kicked out of their favorite hangout or shopping spots, no shade intended.

I added a little something extra for this look, an additional gift as a matter of fact :) The OH PAIR ! CATALEYA DRESS GIFT is a cleverly designed minidress with straps that create sexy cutouts, and those sheer lacy sleeves are so pretty. We receive sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. My addition is the stunning .:UIS:. Chest - Angel 01 BW tattoo from Urban Ink Studios, which is one of 2 gifts I found from them :) It is provided as BOM layers in 60%, 80%, and 100% opacities, and I'm wearing the 80% here. I always recommend trying them each on and deciding which you personally lean towards, I mean they are all in there for a reason :) The angel's wings stretch so gracefully across the collarbone area, and a strapless top would reveal this artwork nicely too.

Next I changed into the Asteria "Jojo" Gift for Doves, which consists of the dress and a separate halter so you can wear them together or enjoy the dress on its own. Each is included in Freya, Isis, Venus, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Senra Jamie mesh body sizes, along with a HUD that has 4 metals for the harness hoops. The dress color makes me think of mourning doves, as they are a creamy grey rather than a bluish tone usually, and I adore the style of this dress both with and without the harness.

I am one of the rare people out there whose life gets busier on the weekends rather than during the week, so they don't have quite the same party feeling for me. Not that they're bad or anything, but I do spend most of the week at home usually. So tonight was dinner at my parents', and tomorrow morning is a farmers market that I can't wait to visit :) I've been concerned about my friend's husband (also a friend, the couple from my Thursday gaming nights) who had a medical procedure done today, but he is home and recovering so that is a huge relief. Tomorrow's featured lunch vendor at the market is the hot dog truck, and their special for St. Patrick's Day is a hot dog with corned beef, kraut, Swiss cheese, and green mustard...that's about 4 reasons for a big hell no from me, LOL. I miss Irish potato candies, which I used to get each year from one of the vendors who has retired. Recently found out they are mostly a local thing, so I'll explain that there is no potato involved other than the shape - cream cheese, powdered sugar, and coconut mixed and rolled into small balls that are then rolled in cinnamon. I'm probably missing an ingredient there, vanilla perhaps. I haven't made them myself in about 30 years so it's hard to recall. FabFree Gets Spooky

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post was so fun to assemble, as I knew that several FabFree designers were offering group gifts that had a Halloween flavor. I didn't want to wait much longer obviously, so here we are in the final days before the spookiest holiday of the year :) All the looks I'm sharing are current group gifts for the FabFree group, which is free to join, and they might be swapped out relatively soon so I would hurry if you're interested. You can see all the gifts on the FabFree blog, as well as information on just about every sales item or gift for $75L or less that you can think of. I've been a huge fan of the blog and group ever since I discovered them really early on in my SL experience, which started 17 years ago, and my respect for them has only grown in that time. Enjoy!

My first look of the evening is from Morrigan's Magick, their gift called )MM( Just Batty Gown. It is a gorgeous full strapless gown with a gathered layer atop, which has a flock of bats in soft grey. There are some 3D roses on the right hip as well, adding a feminine touch to the spooky feeling. There are sizes for Legacy and Maitreya mesh bodies included, and I wanted to share some helpful info just in case...I added the unpacker HUD and I couldn't click it, nor did it automatically deliver the contents as it seemed it should. Then I rezzed it on the ground to open the traditional way, but it immediately vanished with a no-rez warning in local chat. It was probably an SL glitch (not unpacking when worn), and the items were copyable, so I was able to pull the size I wanted out of the contents tab of the edit window while wearing the HUD. I'm just sharing in case the same happens to you, since I don't want you to miss out on this beauty :)

Next I picked up the alluring K-Ks Designs Outlandish Powder gift that makes me feel like dancing. The hemline caught my eye first, thanks to its dramatic dip from left hip all the way down to the floor on the right, but then the plunging neckline secured with golden skull made me whisper "wow!" under my breath ;) To claim this lovely gift, you'll need to pay the vendor $1L which will be automatically refunded while the gift is delivered to you. Then you'll have sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kupra Bimbo, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies to select from.

Our Always Blossom - Skeleton Hands Tee made me chuckle as I wondered whether I've added some bones as a bra, or if a skeleton is standing behind me getting frisky. These are the blue, not to be confused with their light blue.

My final look of the evening is our .::DS::. Spookie Babe gift from Dark Salvation. Their general style is fairly sexy, so this flirty twist on a Halloween look did not surprise me :) It does impress me though, obviously! FabFree Back To Cool

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm very excited about the 2nd annual FabFree Back To Cool Hunt, which somehow snuck up on me as I didn't hear about it until it had already opened on the 1st of the month. It runs until the 30th so we have plenty of time to scoop up prizes from $0L - $5L, all hiding inside neon rainbows like last year :) The website has the hints, landmarks, and preview images, and some of my favorite designers are taking part which makes it even more of a pleasure. Many stores have multiple rainbows hidden, so be sure to follow those hints to make sure you are tracking down the correct prize. The school theme is a fun one for fans of plaids, pleated skirts, autumn colors, and bookish type home furnishings, which I definitely enjoy.

My first look combines 2 of the three gifts available at Always Blossom, all of which are free :) The Heart Crop Top comes in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Petite X mesh bodies, with a 15 color HUD. It is daringly open in the front, tied together with a pretty bow that creates a heart shaped opening above it ♥. You can find more charming bows on their Plaid Mini Skirt Megapack prize, at each hip below the waistband of this extra short skirt :) The skirt and a C-string (like a G-string but no straps) are each provided in the same sizes as the top, and we also receive a HUD with 15 colors of the plaid pattern plus the ability to adjust the transparency to 25%, 50%, or 75% or reset it to default solid fabric as shown. It does have a rather cheeky view from behind, so let your adult education begin!

Next we hop on over to [Ari-Pari] and find their rainbow, which holds their super cute Kelly Outfit for just $1L. The one-shoulder top and mini skirt are each provided in Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing, with a HUD that lets us select from 5 colors for each. The top stays solid while the skirt is a vivid diamond pattern, such a fun twist on the traditional plaid you'll find on many school uniforms :) The skirt is loaded with great details like the built in belt and the slits on each side that are loosely laced to show off flashes of thigh. The nuns who taught me all those years ago would not have been impressed, LOL, but I am!

Belle Epoque has a treat for us for free inside their rainbow, called Lizette - Hunt GIFT. Please note that this is not the same landmark as in my post a few days ago, and the other store location is still there so I think it is either a satellite store or they are planning a move but have not released a message to their group or anything just yet :) For now I will be visiting both locations, as each has lucky chairs and all sorts of sale items to tempt us.
