Hiya everyone! Tonight I am delighted to share two of my favorite seasonal events in SL. The Wash Cart Sale has started their Sizzling Summer round today (the 3rd), and it is open until the 24th of July. Each cart has $10L - $25L selections and a special $50L offering (optional), and there are dozens of talented designers taking part with clothing, home decor, and much more. Then we have a hunt that always appears here too, the Kiyomizu Summer 2019 Hunt which starts at the Kiyomizu Mall and visits some main stores as well. We are looking for ninja cats who give free prizes when clicked, and what I usually suggest is to find all the ones you can in the mall then click one of the floating ghosts above the sidewalks outside the stores. They will take you to a personalized webpage that shows where you still need to visit and how many/which cats you have already discovered.
I am starting this evening with two selections from the *baci* cart at The Wash. On the left I am enjoying their Gitane Fuchsia dress, which includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, all for just $10L. There are other options on the cart too, and two gifts including the outfit on the right above called Torero Vintage. It consists of the jacket and pants/high boots combo, each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. There is even a HUD with 9 shades to tint the pants portion. Our next stop at The Wash is the (kuid) cart, where you can find offers like their Barbara Tank & Shorts on the left, or Morgana Tank & Thong on the right. These are each $10L selections and both so versatile, with color HUDs and multiple sizes. The Barbara outfit includes top and shorts in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with HUDs for each with 6 cheery options. Morgana comes in the same mesh body sizes, with a HUD that lets you choose from 6 background colors for the floral pattern on each piece. Over to the Kiyomizu hunt path, here we have the M*Motion prize called C19 KYMZ Summer Gift. It includes Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, and has a delicate floral texture that highlights the capped sleeves and gathered skirt nicely. Just find the hidden kitty, who is wearing a black ninja catsuit :)
There are two ninja kitties waiting for you at ::*Ran*::, and their gifts can be worn separately or (my suggestion) combined to create this fun outfit. My final look of the evening is the hunt prize from Magiclo called .: MC :. Bikini Suit [ KIYOMIZU Hunt ]. It is a single piece with a layered appearance, in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The front says Drag and Happening, while the rear has a lovely lip print with the word kiss written beneath. This is a playful look for a beach or pool, both of which I plan on visiting somewhere in SL very soon :) I won't have the chance in RL, so why not take advantage of that opportunity virtually?
Hair note of the night: after a brief hiatus due to RL, Truth Hair's designer is back with a new release in his main store called Elixir, and I can never ever resist his work especially updo styles :) So I hurried to purchase my favorite redhead pack as soon as I tried the demo and made sure it fit appropriately. It is unrigged and has a resize option in the stylist tab of the HUD, which is the same HUD we use to choose our hair shade now. There is also the option to wear it with either side's bangs/wisps hidden or both, I am wearing both visible. It amazes me how long I have been a fan of his, most of my SL existence really, and it just keeps getting better. This color pack was $300L which is comparable to other brands from what I have seen.

Hiya everyone! Tonight is a part two of the Party People Fair, and its Paripi Hunt where we look for cute coconuts that distribute free gifts when clicked. The participating designers have signs at their displays with hints and sometimes pictures of the prizes, but if you explore the inner courtyard you can probably find most or all of them without any hints :) Just remember to look up high (trees, lampposts) and low (beneath benches, inside trash cans) and have fun! I am also celebrating the first day of summer, which also happens to be my RL bestie's birthday so I have to think of something sweet and clever to post on her facebook wall.
This first hunt prize is a trio of rompers from **milky-way named *19-04 wrap romper HUNT GIFT. In addition to the green on the left and pink on the right, there is an off-white version, and each are provided in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. These look so very comfy, and cool for the summer and those steamy nights!
Next we see the gift from .*.Jury PoP.*. which is called Re.make Gothic Dress-Green. It comes in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and a standard version for classic avatars. The style puts me in mind of gothic Lolita and pastel goth fashions, both sweet and edgy.
If you can't resist cats (who can, am I right?) then you will want to find the prizes from ::*Ran*::, yes that is prizeS plural. I located 4 different coconuts of theirs, 3 of which held different colors of the 19-14 one piece dresses. On the left is purple, on the right yellow, and not shown is blue, each of which include sizes for standard, eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. So cute with the silhouettes of kitties strolling across piano keyboards at the hem, and paw prints at the neck (my hair has transparency at the ends that make the neck look odd, nothing is wrong with the dress itself) and gathered sleeves tied in pretty bows.
This charming dress is the Light wash jeans dress Maitreya from Kanaloa Surf Beach. It comes in a single mesh size as indicated by the name, and has a biker jacket feel to it with those fun zippers. I might layer this over leggings occasionally for a touch of variety.
My final look of the evening is the zOOm prize called Good Vibes(6), an asymmetrical hemmed mini dress with short sleeves and a wide corset style belt. Find this coconut and you will receive sizes for Belleza Freya, Maitreya, and Slink Hourglass mesh bodies. This is another look that I can envision wearing leggings beneath to change things up, maybe a cream color to pick up the background of the giraffe-like pattern.
It was quite a day, with a chiropractor appointment that took place during thunderstorms and then several flooded roads on the way home. It was like trying to get through a really wet maze, reaching lots of dead ends then trying to decide what way would be less flooded. There were police cars preventing people from going on one of the roads, but others could have used the same warning. I did get to a farmers market and picked up some goodies for my parents and myself, so that was a plus :) The fast moving storms had passed them right before we arrived, whew! The texture has a very pretty layer of lace atop a bright magenta.

The next few days are shaping up to be extra busy for me, starting with tomorrow afternoon's eye doctor appointment to check on my vitreous detachment issue. Hiya everyone! Tonight we explore one of my favorite seasonal hunts, the Kiyomizu Hunt which is celebrating Winter 2018. It starts at the Kiyomizu Mall, where many of the stores are participating so just look for the signs inside or outside of each. They have scripting that tells you what numbered cat is there (as usual, our hunt object is a ninja cat) and if there is more than one. Some stores will direct you to their mainstore, and the best way to see what you've found and where you still need to go is by clicking a floating ghost on one of the sidewalks. It will send you to a personalized website that will guide you. This is a really tricky hunt since there are no hints and the cats can be hidden just about anywhere, resized or even flattened and buried in a wall. The terrific prizes make it worth the effort though :)
My first look is our prize from ::*Ran*:: called 18-28 Fur coat KIYOMIZU Winter Treasure Hunt, a luxurious coat dress trimmed in fur with a very full skirt. It comes in sizes for standard, eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, with a HUD that offers 4 textures. There are 3 solid colors (black, red, pink) in addition to the festive plaid shown, all with the same trim.
M*Motion has this fun padded jacket waiting inside their hidden kitty, with the shirt layer built in for easy wearing. Hiya everyone! Tonight I am celebrating the imminent autumn season, with some hunt prizes from the Kiyomizu Autumn 2018 Hunt. This seasonal event just opened the fall round on the 15th, and the hidden ninja cats will be available to find until the 8th of October. This hunt tends to be tricky because the kitties can be tiny, or flattened and stuck behind walls, pretty much anywhere you can imagine. Also there are no hints, so you need to be creative while hunting...Xan is a whiz with wireframe but I am not very used to it, so it depends on what your particular skills are. Having your camera controls available helps a lot, actually that goes for just about every hunt. I am working on a hunt tips page for the tabs up top, but it isn't quite ready yet, and those camera controls are among the tips :) Meanwhile I suggest you start at the Kiyomizu Mall and find the cats there, then click a floating ghost for your personalized website to show you which ones you found and where you still need to explore.
My first look of the evening is our prize from M*Motion called KYMZ Autumn Gift. The dress with a hot pink top and pencil skirt trimmed in lace comes in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. So pretty!
::*Ran*:: has this lovely look with an interesting twist hiding in their ninja cat, called 18-23 Corset Top KIYOMIZU Autumn Hunt 2018. This can work as a short dress or as a top layered over leggings or jeans, and both the denim and floral patterned materials are splattered with red...we can pretend it is simply paint, or it can be a perfect choice to wear to a Halloween haunted house. Sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine are provided.
Our prize from **milky-way is called 18-08 Denim Zippre Dress, and is a deep charcoal shade of denim with high belt, zippered pockets and front, cuffed sleeves, and ruffled hem. I also couldn't help but notice the various patches, including a star with the American flag, and wings that remind me of the Air Force but I am not certain if there is more to it than that (my family was all army, high school boyfriend was navy, and I knew one marine but nobody in the USAF). This prize includes sizes for standard Small, Medium, Large, plus Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique.

I have seen people online (mostly facebook) getting irritated at people who are ready for fall this early, "rushing the season", but I am obviously enjoying it :) I have always appreciated the colors of autumn leaves, and am glad to live in a region where I see it each year. So this pattern makes me happy.

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am delving into the Kiyomizu Summer 2018 Hunt gifts to share, and there are plenty to enjoy so this is the first of multiple posts of this kind. I look forward to this hunt each season, where we look for ninja cats dressed in black outfits who are very talented at hiding. Some are smaller, others are flattened and hiding in walls, it is pretty remarkable how many ways they manage to disguise themselves ;) When you locate and click each one, you get a folder with a free prize inside, and I usually suggest to check all the stores at the Kiyomizu Mall then click one of the floating ghosts for a website that will show you where you still need to look. Some stores have more than one so check the (wonderfully scripted to maintain accuracy) sign at each, and some have the prize at their mainstore instead of their mall branch. That link from the ghost is extremely helpful, as I'm sure you can tell or you have noticed from previous hunts. Also, this hunt runs until the 8th of July, so you have over a week to find those cute kitties.
First we have the Kiyomizu Summer Hunt 2018 Zipper Dress from ::*Ran*::. It comes in a wide range of sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. I found the hearts scattered on it to be an irresistible touch, softness to balance out the edgy black leather and long zipper.
Summer certainly calls for new swimsuits, and when you find the ninja kitty at Shiorin's Mart you can claim their =CS= Chinese Pattern 02 bikini. The top and bottom are each included in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, and I think there is a good chance that one of those might fit you if you have a different mesh body or prefer the classic avatar. the vivid color is a very pretty choice, and the crossed straps in the back add a special something.
**milky-way is offering a flirty skirt set as their hunt gift, Summer Dress Off-w. Each piece comes in a standard version plus Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, and that sweetheart neckline really complements the ruffles and sliver of belly showing in the front.
Ahoy, matey! This nautical treat is from M*Motion and is their C18 KYMZ Summer Gift. There are sizes included for Isis, Maitreya, and Physique, all with the steering wheel emblem on the top and those cheerful blue and white stripes which are very flattering.
For my final look of the night, we visit SHOP KERO so their hidden kitty can give us this versatile Sexy Lace Top & Skirt. Each piece is provided in standard fitmesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. There is also a HUD that has 16 colors to choose from, in addition to buttons for full bright, top/skirt alpha modes (making it sheer like I did to the top on the right), specular glossiness, and texture scaling which is why the flowers appear larger on the right. There is an image included that shows you which button is which, so I suggest opening that and having some fun with it :) You can be really adventurous with this terrific prize.
I am one tired blogger tonight...had dinner with my parents as usual for a Friday, after an acupuncture session that went well, so it wasn't a bad day other than being so busy. Tomorrow is a farmers market, and the start of a horrible heatwave in my area, so I plan on being home early and staying indoors where it is nice and cool. Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit the Kiyomizu Spring 2018 Hunt again, because there are more terrific prizes I would like to share. As I mentioned yesterday, the hunt object is a ninja cat and they are scripted with the signs at each store so they keep track of which ones you have clicked. To find out which you still need (and the landmarks of the stores/signs) just ask a floating ghost at the Kiyomizu Mall by giving him a little click. There are over 70 participants, so this is a fun adventure that lasts until the 8th of April.
First we have this delicate floral Sleeveless Dress from Shop Ichiko, in sizes for Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique. I was drawn to the knotted belt and the sleek collar, as I am certainly a fan of sharp details that make a difference.
My next look includes both prizes waiting for you at ::*Ran*:: each in their own ninja cat hiding place. The dress is provided in sizes for standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, with creamy ruffles and a layer of lace beneath the bold animal print of the skirt. Spring makes many of us crave a visit to a beach, a lovely tropical sim of which there are plenty in SL, and if you were wondering what to "pack" for your next trip, I strongly suggest the prize from Shiorin's Mart. For my final look of the evening, I am showing off the nails I picked up from the ninja cat at Nekomimiya. Their gift is called Spring nail 2018, 3 colors on appliers for Slink and Maitreya, with a sweet floral design in one corner of the ombres. I am a fan of nail art in general, although there are times that more is more and other times that less is more ;) This is in the "less is more" category, a subtle nod to the flowers that spring usually brings. If I could ever get the hang of nail stamping in RL, this would be a fun one to recreate or use as an inspiration.
It was another busy day, with lots to do, so tomorrow I will be trying to catch up on all the sleep I've missed ;) I know they claim that doesn't actually work, but then maybe it is just a placebo effect because it does seem to make me feel better to sleep extra.
