Palomma Plaza Pretties

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting the Palomma Plaza, which is loaded with free group gifts from many generous designers. If you recall The Free Dove, this is in the same spot and is in honor of Palomma "Dove" Casanova who operate The Free Dove for many years until her passing in 2023. The group here is free to join and give you a "Doves Angel" group tag, allowing you to claim an impressive number of gifts for just about everyone - men's and women's fashion, accessories, skins, hair, shapes, and more. My link will give you a red arrow to the spot between 3 displays of gifts that I'm sharing tonight, but I strongly encourage taking a peek around everywhere here :) I did a lot of mixing and matching among the brands, as you'll see, and am so glad I visited as always. Stay tuned as I believe their Doves Dreams event will be coming this month as well, with sales and gifts I will be glad to share.

First up, I start with the MAYHEM - SOFIE TOP FATPACK with its fun wrapped and crossed straps. This treat includes sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, as well as a HUD with 16 patterns and the ability to tint them. As for the bottom, well I found 2 coordinating gifts on a neighboring display :) The ExeCute // Ava Mini Skirt is so flirty, barely more than a tiny ruffle and waistband, that fits Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The enclosed HUD offers 17 colors apiece for skirt and waist. Because it's so brief, I appreciated being able to layer the ExeCute // Ava Thong Pink beneath. Conveniently, our pretty pink thong comes in the same sizes as the skirt, and the same name Ava being used made me think of combining them.

I came up with another pairing from these gifts too, and as always let's start from the top ;) That would be the Mayhem - YASHA HALTER FATPACK, a stunning top with high neck and bare shoulders that is carefully laced down the front just loosely enough to show off little flashes of skin. It fits Erika, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Perky Petite, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn bodies, with a HUD that has 11 color choices each for the shirt and laces. I will note that this seemed to have a demo script inside, so after 5 minutes the HUD self-destructed on me ;) I unpacked a new copy and was able to use that however, and once you have the color you wish, you don't necessarily even need the HUD. It goes great with our ExeCute // Kudo Leggins gift, which are provided in sizing for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. It too has a HUD, so we can choose from an impressive 42 colors each for the pants and the straps in the back. I really love all that crisscrossing back there!

Many times I feel like bodysuits in SL can also be worn as swimsuits or vice versa, and the ExeCute // Rose Bodysuit Fatpack gift is a perfect example of that :) The style is delightful, with gathering and a floral top with solid colored lower portion. As a matter of fact, we get to select from 10 textures that will match the neckline to the bottom, thanks to the enclosed HUD. There are sizes for eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies included.

Next I slipped into the lovely MAYHEM Melody Dress Solids FATPACK gift. That lacing is just so eye-catching, and the playful little openings sure do tantalize us. We receive Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes of this beauty, along with a HUD offering 20 fun colors to tint the dress. The fabric has a soft satiny sheen to it, just another fantastic detail that I couldn't help from mentioning.

My final look combines two more gifts, this time from the same brand and possibly meant to go together. The [ARTi'S] Darlene Top is a fun tank with spaghetti straps, lace neckline trim, and a notch in the back where it is ever so slightly unbuttoned. It fits Erika, Erika Petite, Gen X Classic/Dainty, Gen X Curvy/Dainty, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, Rebirth, Rebirth Petite, Reborn, Smol, Waifu, Senra Jamie, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. Whew! The menu to unpack which size you want is a few pages long, and it's no wonder :) As for our [ARTi'S] Fluffy Skirt gift, the lacing on the sides is an intriguing detail just like the lightly furry texture that makes me want to touch it. We receive plenty of sizes here too - Erika, Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Prima, Rebirth, Reborn, Senra Jamie, and Tonic bodies. That is pretty much the same set but without the bust mods that do not affect below the waist sizing :) Just because I'm wearing these together here doesn't mean that we can't easily pair either of these with anything else in our wardrobes, or something new you find right here at Palomma Plaza. 

It's been a busy type of weekend, and that is not really good or bad; I'll go with calling it a mixture. The farmers market was quiet but fun, not many vendors but I adore the ones who were there :) The featured lunch vendor was very slow because of a malfunctioning grill, which isn't their fault but probably caused stress for themselves and others. The weather was decent at least. This afternoon we caught a mouse in my office here, isn't that fun...I'd been hearing chewing again, and learned my lesson earlier in the week not to scold it, LOL. This one is now happily released safely elsewhere, in a wooded area where it can probably find some friends and hopefully not try to return. Tomorrow evening is my support group meeting, which I am looking forward to since I do find them helpful. I hope you're all having a nice day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Redeux Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are helping the Redeux Event celebrate their 8th anniversary, which is an impressive accomplishment and I offer my heartfelt congratulations to them :) As we often do in SL, we celebrate events with gifts for the shoppers, all yours for free with their VIP group which is also free to join. I'm "Not Toxic, just Spicy", even my shirt agrees! This is our Manikin - Q-Tees Tank Top - Retro Edition - Spicy gift, a clever tee in a rosy pink with cream colored wording and trim. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included. It's extra funny for me since my diet for medical reasons is as far from spicy as possible, but that doesn't always keep the spice out of my attitude ;) It's generally when people get spicy with me first, so this top can serve as a warning to keep people from provoking us I guess.

For a different type of spice, be sure to claim the zOOm - Gothic Corset GIFT too. This sexy treat has rings that resemble piercings on the nips, and upside down crosses both front and back. It is laced ever so briefly in the front, with plenty of hardware for such a skimpy style top ;) We receive sizing for Erika, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. I'm wearing it with the white pair of Delizio jeans from their marketplace freebie fatpack, but it will certainly pair well with your favorite pants, shorts, or skirts too.

Next I couldn't wait to slip into the Faida Milu silk gift, pun intended since it is a slip dress. It's got a great crushed velvet type texture, and the neckline is trimmed with a blue floral pattern ruffle. Also noteworthy is the zipper in the back, explaining just how we wrangled our way into this close fitting beauty :) The gift consists of Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizing.

The lovely TRES - Luz Choco corset dress made me think "flapper" since the ruffles resembled fringe at first glance somehow. I'm loving the rich brown color too, definitely chocolatey! We receive sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The TRES brand is a collab between Faida and Velvet Whip, so there is impressive skill and experience behind this name :)

For my final look of the evening, I changed outfits and bodies ;) The Mayhem Marlina Romper fits Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, and Reborn mesh bodies, so I swapped my Lara 5.3 to X. Speaking of changes, we can select from 30 different patterns via HUD, so we get to switch up this look as often as we want. It's like thirty different looks all for free, who can resist that? The bodice is fairly revealing, with that slender strip of fabric across to keep 'the girls' in place, and the leg cut seems to transition from modest on the sides to a little peekabooty from behind. I think the patterns are very fun and festive, so it is a great gift for an anniversary party.

My day started stressful, but I'm in a pretty good mood tonight after a fun chat with a friend while playing Hello Kitty Island Adventure together :) Multiplayer games can be a mixed bag, but this one seems to work out really nicely, and teamwork really can improve the game. Her game crashed as soon as we logged in, LOL, but once she came back (we were texting and I knew what happened, then phone call) it was all good for over an hour. Before that I'd gone to a nearby park, not the closest but the next town over, so we just extended the distance slightly. I had to pass by the dentist office for that added surge of anxiety, lol, which is actually a good thing for expanding my limits and boundaries. It's like if you pull a muscle and then have to stretch it slowly, a little more each time, to help it heal and let you use it again correctly. Whew. Tomorrow is dinner with the parents, and then Saturday the dingus owner of the farmers market canceled it because there will be thunderstorms in the afternoon, like after the market closes. Sigh. He pulled this crap all winter if there was a 10% chance of snow, now he's doing it again and ruining people's plans. I feel so badly for the vendors, who all bought ingredients and prepped food for sale (and posted on social media last night in several cases) before finding out today that it was unnecessary. All The Colors 2 Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we explore the CMH 'All The Colors 2' Hunt by Cheeky Monkey Hunts. There are several stores offering prizes for $1L or exclusive offers for $25L or $50L, all hiding inside rainbow striped bows. The individual designers get to decide how many and which price points to provide, so we get to visit their stores and see what wonderful treats we can claim :) Of course, the website acts as our tour guide, with links and preview images as well as some handy dandy hints to find each prize, so please have that open while you dive into this vibrant hunt. 

My first look is the playful >>M2<< Casey Outfit Fatpack which is the $50L prize from Mayhem. The top and romper are each provided in Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes, with a HUD that offers 24 colors for each. That makes for tons of beautiful possibilities! The outfit shows off a flash of midriff, and is cut high on the back of the legs for a slightly cheeky view.

The top from that first prize I shared came in handy while I show you the >>M2<< Gina Skirt Fatpack which is the $25L prize from Mayhem. There are sizes for Altamura, Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies included, as well as a HUD with 25 denim hues. The skirt is a micro mini, with two pockets on the back beneath the intricate seams. All the textures have golden rivets across the waistband and down the front like sailor pants. So many great details!

Next I changed into the charming $1L Tea Lane prize called ~TL~ Pride Stripes Nikki Jumpsuit. It fits Kalhene, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, and is awash in luscious rainbow striping. The deep V neckline and flared shorts create a lovely silhouette, don't they? 

Please give this image a click to see our $25L prize from Harambee-Gwassi even more clearly :) Their 4 Rainbow benches multisit with garden trellis & Bengal cat is quite thoroughly named, as there are four colors (blue, lilac, lime, and the pink shown above) of rainbow benches, with a modest 2 land impact each, and a few singles poses (like the drinking one I'm using that gave me the tasty coconut cocktail to wear!) and couples poses. Then we can add the cat with sounds (just click them for purrs and meows) for just 1 LI, and the planter with pink mandevilla that is also just 1 LI. They all look terrific together, but can be placed separately or rearranged however suits your personal living space best. 

My final look of the evening is more home decor in the spirit of Pride month, the very affordable $1L prize from Splintered Creations named SC: Proud Love. Where do I even start to explain why I adore this so much? It is also affordable from a land impact standpoint at just 1 LI (as a skybox dweller I am used to budgeting them carefully), has copy/mod permissions, and just bursts with positive messages and imagery. I think the "More Love Less Hate" on the right spoke to me first, because that's really what it boils down to for me. People complain about it being 'political' whenever a company is publicly supportive of the LGBT+ community, but I don't get why treating other people kindly is a political issue. So yes, spread love because it is the most valuable 'free' thing you can give to someone ♥.

Whew, so my double coronation (two permanent crowns put in) yesterday went well, but they are slightly bigger than the temps so they made my entire bite shift since my teeth all feel like they've ever so slightly moved around. It gives me flashbacks to the days of wearing braces, yet the new crowns look fine and floss fits between them so I probably just need to be patient. My dentist mentioned he'll be at the farmers market tomorrow (we ran into each other there once before and he knows I go every week) but I am not going to say anything to him about it if I see him because that's just rude when any professional is off-duty. I'm glad he and his family like it there too, and we told his assistant about it so she seemed interested as well. Otherwise my weekend plans are mostly here at home, with relaxing being the main priority :) I hope you all have a beautiful weekend ahead, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
