The Naughty List

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am hoping to earn a place on your nice list by inviting you to The Naughty List event. There you can find top quality offers at nice prices from many great designers, and $10L treats at each display in bags with an image of the contents on each. There is also a lovely Christmas tree where my link brings you, and if you are in the Evil Bunny Hunt group (free to join) you can claim all the gifts under that tree for free. Those are what I would like to share tonight, so anyone regardless of budget can enjoy some brand new goodies for the holiday and beyond :) Of course I still encourage shopping the displays, but that should not be a surprise. I hope you find something to brighten your holidays!

First I paired two gifts, clothing with a tattoo. The dresses are the Poinsettia Explosion Dresses from Indigenous, a duo of blue and green versions with a shattered stained glass type pattern. They are each included in Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizing. As for the intricate tattoo, it is our group gift from Max Magic called ::MM:: Cat Love to the Moon tattoo. The geometric cats on each shoulder reminded me of the texture of the dress, and there are a lot of fun details to the artwork on both arms. The gift consists of a system/BOM layer and an Omega applier, so there is compatibility for most mesh bodies and all classic avatars. 

Our gift from Illustrious is a flirty dress in several colors, their Crossbones Fatpack. Each version (Green, Pink, Purple, Teal, Yellow, and Black) is packed separately in sizes for eBody Classic, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The dresses are designed to be more like a tiny skirt and corset that are linked by bold rings both front and back, creating some tantalizing views. 

I also found a gift from MadCatCreations beneath the tree, and this is two separates that combine wonderfully to create a seasonal outfit. The top is the MCC - woman - Snow Tree Crop Sweater, an eye-catching look with traditional holiday knit pattern in sizes for Altamura, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with 10 colors to choose from. The pants are called MCC - woman - Deep Snow Jeans w/HUD, and these come in the same sizing as the sweater with a similar 10 color HUD. I like the way the legs look tie dyed in bleach to lighten the denim, just in those bands on the calves. 

Those MCC jeans also look very cute with the gift from BLONDEQUEEN, their pair of Christmas Pastel Tops in blue and pink. They both come in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, with snowflakes on the blue version and reindeer silhouettes on the pink. Lots of intricate straps add visual interest to this style, and I am enamored with both prints. 

My final look of the night is a dazzling outfit from Donni's Dollies, whose gift is their DD Cleopatra Dress & Shoes Rainbow Leopard. The mini dress is included in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with matching shoes in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High fits. I never knew just how much I needed rainbow leopard print in my SL wardrobe until I saw this terrific gift!

May I put Mother Nature on the naughty list?? I may have mentioned that we had a storm coming through my area on Christmas eve night, well sadly it arrived with heavy winds that knocked my power out for a few hours. I had barely started writing the blog post, but I told myself (and Xan) that if the power came back before I had to go to bed from exhaustion I would finish and post the blog :) So here we are, much later than usual thanks to 4 hours of no electricity, but I am feeling a sense of accomplishment just for pulling this together and getting it ready to share with all of you. This has been a very 2020 type of Christmas I guess, LOL, with all the stress, but I am smiling after all :) Whew! I will not be blogging tomorrow evening, but will gladly be back the following night after a quick day off. I hope that all of you who celebrate have a very Merry Christmas, and those who do not get to look forward to the final weekend of the year which means a new fresh start is just around the corner. Advent Calendar Presents

 Hiya again everyone! It is a pleasure to share some Advent Calendar treats with all of you this morning, and the timing is far better than my usual evening posts since by the time those go live on the blog, there is probably less than 2 hours remaining in the SL day to claim them. I try to give as much time as possible, while letting you know which will be available past the current date just in case. Some of these gifts today are for groups that are free to join, while others are accessible to everyone with no group tag necessary. There are certainly ones out there with fees to join the required group or a daily cost for a gift, but I am choosing to focus on the entirely free ones. Honestly you can find incredible offers from all of them, so it boils down to your personal tastes and your linden budget :) This year in particular I feel like we deserve to be treated well, yet I am not against choosing to treat yourself to a splurge or two.

Today we have male and female kimonos as our gifts, and I am enchanted by the beautiful floral pattern on the female version with the matching pink belt and bow on the back. My final look of the day is from a 12 day Advent calendar at JUMO Originals, where each day is represented by a numbered circle (plate?) and a star set for sale for $0L is placed out each day in front of it. As of my visit just a while ago, there were a few stars ready that ended with the 15th so that is what I am enjoying here. It is their CAMILLA Dress C - Dez 15, which combines a flirty style with bold colors and pattern for a great effect. It includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. I am not certain if all prior days are going to remain free for the duration of the event, so my recommendation is to hurry and visit if you are interested. I believe the other gifts are a gown, shoes, and jewelry, so there is a variety of fashion and accessories to enjoy.

I am chuckling because it feels like I was just here doing this exact thing, wrapping up a blog post...because it was just a handful of hours ago ;) December gets a bit hectic for my blogging schedule, but this year I welcome the distraction since it keeps me focused on other than my grandmother's health or not being able to see most of my family this year. I will still take a day or two off at the actual holiday, mostly just to have a vacation for my wrists and fingers. More Black Friday Bazaar Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are continuing to delve into the many gifts available at the Black Friday Bazaar 3. This event is brought to us by Evil Bunny Productions, so it is the Evil Bunny Hunt group (free to join) whose tag you will need to have active to claim all these treats. Just look for the black drawstring bags at nearly every display, next to a small framed photo of the gift, and give the back a click to receive its contents. There are some really impressive finds among the gifts, as well as among the many selections for sale that are discounted by 25-50% until the event closes on the 1st of December. 

My first look of the evening is our gift from Starlight Apparel called .{SA}. Roux Dress & Belt. Each piece comes in sizes for eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. It is nice to have them as separates so you can wear the dress without the belt if you prefer :) The teal color is a classic beauty, and I think it would go well with all sorts of jewelry and styles of shoes. 

Since Black Friday is traditionally the start of the Christmas shopping season, it makes perfect sense to find some themed offerings among these gifts, like the one from Dragonmoon Designs seen here. This is their [DD] Christmas Fun, a flirty mini with slits both front and back that create short panels for the skirt. The pattern reminds me of Christmas sweaters, sometimes called ugly although I find them very endearing :) The gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizing. 

The gift from ATLANTIS DESIGN, Too Much Wine, gave me quite a chuckle :) The top reads "I'm on the naughty list because I wine too much" and the I in Wine is a wine bottle. I appreciate the play on words with wine/whine, and I know several people who would wear this in RL too. The tank top and PJ pants are each provided in fitmesh standard sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, with an additional size of eBody for the top. 

Next we go formal and seasonal with the Donni's Dollies gift, DD Marronda Gown-Rudi Purple. Its full flared skirt is hiding the platform sandals that come with it, in the same pretty purple as the solid top and background of the skirt's pattern. Did you notice the reindeer on the skirt have a red nose? It must be Rudolph, here with some holiday cheer and tiny pops of color. The gown comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, while the sandals fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High feet.

My final look of the evening is an extra provocative one, thanks to the Prism Geisha Sheer Lingerie by Jezzixa RED. This set consists of the semi-transparent lingerie and matching solid black thong panties, each in a standard fitted version for classic avatars, along with sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. With all that skin revealed, it seemed like a good time to display a gift of body art. The tattoos are the gift from LOVE LACE DESIGNS called ::LL:: Sweet Tattoo {OMEGA}, and it is an Omega applier for the upper body. There are bows on each inner wrist, various sweet treats on each arm, and the word "Sweet" on the upper chest with a cupcake on one side and a wrapped piece of candy on the other. It is such fun to experiment with tattoos in SL, pain-free and easy to change on a whim. 

This morning I was pleasantly surprised to be able to make a hair cut/color appointment for tomorrow afternoon, since I expected a much longer wait with people wanting it done before Thanksgiving even if their time with family would be via video (facetime, zoom, etc.) but I got really lucky. I have to find a book to bring since I don't really want to touch magazines that others have touched, possibly coughed or sneezed on...I was already a bit of a germophobe before our current situation, although I did usually read their magazines and just wash my hands after. It is embarrassing to admit that I am a bit nervous, but at least you know I am not being careless. My hair loses its shape and its natural waves when too long, and I think I will feel a bit better about myself in general if my hair doesn't look so awful. My stylist is a very kind and friendly person, and I will get to see new pictures of her young grandkids who are simply adorable. Ready For the Weekend

Hiya everyone! Tonight we take a look at a few more prizes from The Evil Bunny Hunt 10, whose $1L treats are hiding inside either evil eggs or nice eggs. You can see samples of each at the store's sign and on the website, which you'll need to have open to navigate the hunt path as it our source of landmarks and hints. I enjoy this hunt every year, since the prizes are always top notch and such a bargain over their full price versions! I generally enjoy SL hunting to find extra affordable fashions, they are always worth the effort of tracking them down.

My first look comes from the nice egg at [Ari-Pari], their Lissa Easter Dress - EBH10. It has a tulip style skirt with egg print and a solid top with sweetheart neckline. It includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, with a HUD offering 5 textures (matching colors) each for the top and skirt. 

[Ari-Pari] has an evil egg hiding too, and when you find it you can claim their Victoria Corset Set: Pastels - EBH10. The corset and panties each come in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, and you can probably guess that there is a HUD provided here too :) There are 6 colors for the top and panties (each tint separately) and 2 metals for the rings on the back where the corset is laced. All the colors for the corset have a black middle panel in the front and the sides wrapping around to the back, with black lace overlay. 

Another store with both eggs hidden is Applique` Chic, and I chose their evil egg prize to share this evening :) It is called AC: Bold Bunny Jumper, and is a strapless shorts style with built in belt. The top is solid while the shorts portion has stripes with designs in between, things like bunnies and eggs and hearts. There is a HUD to let you choose from 5 background colors, and the romper itself comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizing. 

My final look of the evening can be found inside a nice egg at Donni's Dollies, but please be sure to follow the hints to find the correct one as there is also a mens' prize inside a different nice egg here. This cute dress is the DD Poppy Boho Mini Crystal Daisy Willow Brook EBH10, and it comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. The bare shoulders above long sleeves are a flirty look for spring, and the matching belt is attached for a softly gathered look. I love the pastel sage green color, which looks beautiful both in solid and with the subtle pattern on the sleeves and skirt.

I spent more time in Animal Crossing today which was fun, and I enjoyed my dinner with my parents as I do each Friday :) Their birds (cockatiels) are not very people-oriented, but sounded happy to see me with their cheerful songs. Tomorrow I will be picking up a curbside order from the farmers market, then meeting one of the vendors at my parents' house since she will be in the area delivering food to other clients so will drop ours off too. We discuss plans for the following week's menu together, so we will all be bouncing ideas off her as a socially distanced, mask-wearing group :) I am still waiting on the handmade masks from a friend, but got a hold of some disposable ones as a temporary measure. I doubt they're as good, hers have 2 layers plus a pocket for a filter like a coffee filter. My state is probably going to make wearing masks in public mandatory on Monday, so the sooner she gets them done the better. I took a better look at my schedule and realized that I could do another morning Advent calendar gift post today, so here I am with some more holiday goodies :) There are so many wonderful calendars this year, more than last year it seems, and today I am focused on ones that either need no group tag at all to claim or the tag of a group that is free to join. As much as I love vibrant colors, I also find a great black and white combo like this so appealing in a crisp and elegant way. This flirty frock is the LYBRA Advent Gift 8, as the 9th segment of their star-shaped Advent calendar was not ready. No group is needed, just purchase for $0L, and I noticed that all the previous days are still there for free too. So I believe that this #8 will still be there for you to claim even if the 9th gift is ready when you get there :) This dress comes in Alice, Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh body sizes, all with that sheer panel just barely holding the deep neckline together. The full short skirt is a lovely touch too, makes me feel like dancing and twirling.

My final look of the day is a fun seasonal set of manicures from AppleTini called Red Christmas. To claim the gifts from their calendar you will need their free group tag active, and just click the current date on the board to be gifted a terrific set of nail polish. There are 5 designs to choose from on appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and Vista Bento hands, so there is much versatility there to appreciate. I think my favorite way to wear these will be as the red with snowflakes as the main nails, then ring finger and thumb "accent nails" of one of the candy cane striped styles. 

Quick hair note: I follow the Wasabi hair store on flickr, and was so excited when I saw this Natasha updo at the Santa's Inc event that I rushed over at my earliest opportunity to grab that demo and give it a whirl. Obviously I liked what I saw, so I picked up the Reds color pack :) There is a stylist HUD for the two bangs styles, and an accessory HUD which I used to hide 2 large clips on the left side but can also be used to pick a color for each. I feel like I can never have too many updo hairstyles for blogging so they don't hide any of the clothing I am trying to show you, and their auburn shades are very beautifully textured.

I surprised myself by realizing that I could actually make the time this morning to share more Advent gifts, and I am pleased because I know I had not shown you any gifts from most of these stores yet this season. I guess I am eager to spread the word about all of the ways these thoughtful designers are celebrating the holiday season by showering us with presents. Advent Season

Hiya again everyone! If you're surprised to see another post from me so soon after last night's, my title might clue you in as to why this special edition :) Because there are so many Advent calendars that opened when the month of December began, I wanted to squeeze in a post of some of the goodies I have been able to claim from these generous calendars. Now I'm usually posting around 2 hours before midnight SL time, so that is just not sufficient to show you that day's treats with enough time to obtain them for yourselves. So a morning post should give you time if you read it promptly, and if you miss out on any of these gifts from reading belatedly, please remember that the season has just started and there will be tons more gifts for you to enjoy. There are calendar listings on FabFree and TeleportHub among other sources, so you can peruse those and see what stores you might wish to visit. I have a lot going on the rest of the week that will prevent me from spending an extra 2+ hours in the mornings prepping a blog post, so I am glad I realized I could do this today :) All of my gifts today either need a free group tag or no specific group tag at all, so these will not cost you a cent/linden. I would also like to say that if you do not celebrate Christmas, that doesn't mean you will have to feel left out of these gift extravaganzas...some stores may lean towards all seasonal gifts, while others mix things up, and some are completely free from Christmas items. Heck, I claimed a swimsuit from somewhere earlier (not shown) and you'll see plenty of colors other than red and green mixed together.

**Sexy Princess** has a style of calendar you will see quite often, a large board with a grid of numbers to represent the day of the month. Some are in order left to right, while others are scrambled so you have to seek the right date. This one does not need a group tag, and the gift for the 3rd of December is this pretty Angeles Pink Dress. It has a satiny texture and is trimmed in black to keep it from being overly sweet, and that plunging neckline is a flirty touch. The gift includes a standard fitted version for classic avatars as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. Donni's Dollies is offering a daily gift for men and one for women, so bring your favorite male avatars along for the fun too! You will land near a tree with boxes beneath, but the gifts of the day are generally towards the front so the first ones you see. Hovertext will tell you which is which, and just give it a click then pick "deliver" from the blue menu that pops up. Today's ladies gift is the DD Correy Cherries 6, an outfit with a cropped racerback tank top and playfully short shorts. My final look of this post is a real head turner from LYBRA which is simply named Advent Gift 3. It is a flattering style with the tight top and flared skirt, and I love how the black top is trimmed in red plaid while the skirt is the reverse. Whew, for my last post I'd already been at this computer for a few hours before publishing it, and then I was here for all the time in between posts. I spend a startling amount of time staring at this screen to be honest, it's embarrassing. The Wash and Advent

Hiya everyone! Today I have a few more selections from the Wash Cart Sale and their Winter Wonderland round, which is open until the 2nd of January (after these hectic holidays!) so you have plenty of time to visit. All of the carts have offers for $10L each, and the option of a special $50L selection, while honestly everything here is worth way more than that. Bargains are a blessing, especially at this time of year when we've been shopping for everyone else. Another thing that makes SL special this time of year is Advent calendars, from which I have shown you several gifts recently and have a few more for today for you to enjoy. That is why I am posting in the morning instead of late evening :)
