Hiya everyone! Tonight I decided it was time for a Summer Party, thanks to the hunt of the same name :) It is a $1L gridwide hunt that has us looking for black sunglasses that I believe are an aviator style, just the lenses without the arms so they do lay flat against their hiding places which I noticed are generally very clever and cute this round with these sunglasses. It always fascinates me to see where the various designers choose to place the different hunt objects based on what they are, leading to many instances of hiding in plain sight. There are hints on the hunt's website as well as the landmarks to guide us from store to store, and most of them have preview images so we know what we will be able to claim for that low price of a single linden dollar. Every single one of them is worth far more than what we are paying, and I am very grateful for hunts as good reasons to visit all these terrific shops.
My first look this evening is the prize from SPOTLIGHT called SPH Bikini, and it is ready to heat up your summer. The daring string bikini is a single mesh piece in sizes for Alice, Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. There is also a 10 color HUD included so you can change your look, and did you notice the multicolored beads along the strings and on a few seams? Those stay the same fun mix of colors no matter what main color you pick. The rear view is especially revealing, as it seems all the material is in the front so the back is just delicate strings.
I keep chuckling at this amusing prize from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. which is called TROPIC LIKE IT'S HOT Tee, a play on words with the song Drop It Like It's Hot. Find these sunglasses and you can claim the tank top in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. The pineapple wearing shades is a playful throwback to the hunt object :) I am wearing our prize with a favorite marketplace freebie of mine, the Delizio jeans which come in several colors (white shown here) in system/BOM layers plus appliers for Maitreya and Omega.
Open Heart Maternity Clinic has two gifts hiding inside the same pair of sunglasses, one for men and one for women. They are both very similarly styled and in same colors and pattern, so you can coordinate if you wish :) The women's version includes the shirt and pants in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing each.
This lovely look comes from The Sissy Bar. Just find their sunglasses to receive their (TSB) Summer Party Hunt outfit, which consists of the tropical patterned dress in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. The matching sun hat is included too, and it is unrigged so you can adjust if it need be. I like having the option of the hat, even if most of the time I am wearing hair that doesn't play nicely with headwear ;)
My final look of the evening is a sizzling seasonal bikini and robe that comes from Foxclaw Creations. Their Delilah Hunt prize has the bikini top and bottom along with sheer robe each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies. It is a very flattering look, with the bikini bottom cut in a way that is neither overly revealing nor frumpy. You can arrive at the beach or pool in the full outfit, then slip out of the robe to soak up the sun or splash into the water.
This weekend was not quite what I was expecting, thanks to a couple of chronic health issues deciding to flare up on me, but I mostly relaxed and tried to stay occupied with things that weren't too painful.
