Hiya everyone! This week should be a golden opportunity to do some gridwide hunting, with a few hunts ending in a few days and some that still have a couple of weeks to go. New ones start when the new month does, and I expect plenty of Halloween themes :) For now, I had a lot of fun preparing these photos from The Autumn Effect Hunt and hope you enjoy them.
This gorgeous set of matching bras and panties are our prize from Bodhi, who are #46 in the hunt. Find this hockey puck and you will receive these beauties in black, orange, and purple, in system layers (shown) along with appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. Speaking of appliers, you can find even more in the prize #67 from Supernatural, the lovely Elvian tattoo I am wearing above. This includes appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, Omega, and even TMP for all your meshy needs :) I am showing the system layers of course, and if you're wondering about the inset photo, I wanted to show the way the flowers curve above the pubic bone area, so that white blur was necessary since the panties were covering too much of what I needed to show. The rear view is more than just a gratuitous bum shot, hehe, but a nice way to see the design on the back of the calves that are a part of this detailed ink.
If you need an eye-catching dress for a special night, or just to feel pretty because we all deserve it, then the gift from J&A Rock Culture is just right for you! Prize #23 is their denim dress with black belt attached, and has a terrific rear view as well as front view. I really like the great texture, too. A dress like this doesn't need much in the way of jewelry, but I thought it would be fun to add something edgy and I found prize #30 from Pomposity to do the trick. Their Skully Bracelets include a left and right version each of the original and an extra skulls version, which has an addition of two skulls dangling and can be seen on my right wrist above. There is a rather thorough color change menu, a glimpse of which is evident in the inset. These can match just about anything, it's fantastic!
An excellent wardrobe choice for a fall evening would be this formfitting trench coat from NoName, prize #61 in the hunt. The style is very flattering, and it includes a HUD with all 3 color choices shown, all wonderful for autumn. I will probably pair this up with a nice knit leggings or tights in the future :) Meanwhile I hope you noticed the enchanting necklace I'm wearing with it, which is our hunt gift from HollyWeird #02. I really love that crescent moon shape with the birds and tree silhouetted in such warm colors.
I always feel like nails are a detail that is small in size but huge in impact, and they really deserve a closer look whenever possible. So here is a better view of the prize from Toxxic Pandora, #33 in the hunt and glimpses shown previously. Here you can see the 3 solid colors and 3 designs, for a total of 6 options on the Slink HUD. They definitely have a fall feel, yet can be used year round for various outfits.
Well it has been a busy but overall good weekend here, and I hope yours has been whatever you needed :) Sometimes we need a couple of days to relax and unwind, other times it's more exhilarating to go out and do things, maybe with friends or family. Hiya everyone! As I'm sure you guessed from the title, tonight's post features more terrific prizes from The Autumn Effect Hunt. There are so many generous designers taking part in this one, you are bound to find things you can appreciate too, so let's dive right in!
If you need an outfit to dress up in that says autumn in a fun way, look no further than prize #55 from Basta! This is called Hear The Wind and includes the peplum blouse in espresso along with the black satin skirt, each in standard mesh sizes. The texture of that blouse is just heavenly, and I do enjoy a pretty peplum. You probably noticed that I switched back to short hair, as much as I love the hair I wore yesterday this shorter 'do is better for showing off jewelry. The necklace and earrings I am pleased to show off are prize #29, the Marrie Jewelry from [Glitzz], which includes a HUD with 10 colors to choose from. Think of all the wonderful matching possibilities! I also love the delicate filigree pattern on the earrings and necklace.
Next we have the Scandalous Vest from 1 Hundred, who are #08 in our hunt path. This is gorgeous coming and going, and I am enjoying the system layer but it also includes a HUD full of appliers for Lola, Physique, Wowmeh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Omega. Sounds like all the mesh loving ladies can wear this as well. I must say, that color is fantastic for fall. I paired it with the Afterlyfe leggings from yesterday, along with the jewelry from the first photo after choosing a different color on that HUD. Never underestimate the power of versatility :)
I stepped outside to enjoy a tasty cup of coffee in my new Loyalty is Royalty Shirt from B-DaZZled, this is prize #53 and I am sporting the system layer...you'll be pleased to hear that it also includes an Omega applier, and there is a mesh version for the men with 3 rigged sizes and 2 fitmesh sizes. As for the coffee, that's our prize from Reckless called Bean Juice, and the cup has a drinking animation built in but that's not even the best part. The HUD included changes your cup color, lid color (sorry I oops'ed on that one, but they can be black or white just like the cup) and sleeve texture. One sleeve reads "Death before Decaf", and the other says "If loving pumpkin spice makes me a basic bitch, then a basic bitch I'll be". Now I do enjoy myself both decaf and pumpkin spice, so I am a candidate for the latter, but Xan will be gleefully enjoying the Death before Decaf version ;)
As it tends to get a bit cooler in the evenings this time of year, imagine my oh-so-pleasant surprise at finding this beautiful sweater in the hockey puck at SAKIDE (#07). This chill-chaser comes with a wonderful HUD that allows you to choose from 9 colors for each design, the leaves or the deer! That is 18 amazing options, and you can see they both look gorgeous in any color. That high collar is perfect for the season as well. I feel all snuggly now :)
Nail note of the night: I am wearing a prize from this very hunt in all of these photos on my nails, it's prize #33 from Toxxic Pandora and has 6 different choices for Slink mani/pedis. My hair is Juliette from the discount room at Truth, and my skin is version 3 of the 7 Deadly s{K}ins prize I wore yesterday. The lips are a deeper color but that seems to be the main difference among the three versions.
Since I have another hectic weekend ahead, I made sure to get a head start on tonight's so at least one of these posts will make it before midnight ;) Tomorrow is a farmer's market and a few errands, Sunday is celebrating 2 family birthdays, and all will be affected by Papal visit traffic. It should be a good one even if it is busy, and I hope you all have something nice planned too. Magical magpie hugs to each and every one of you!!

Hiya everyone! I have been working on another hunt, the Camping Trip Hunt, and even if you're not a camper in your first life (personally my last camping trip was with the girl scouts so about age 9?) you can still have all the fun in SL while looking pretty darn cute!
I think this would provide a bit too much skin for mosquitoes to feast on in first life, but here in SL that's not a problem. So feel free to enjoy wearing prize #021 from Icewerk Mesh, and what better way to accessorize any camping outfit than with #010 from .twenty13. and their bottle/can opener necklace? Let's take a closer look, shall we?
It's even got wings! There is a male and a female version included in this prize, the only difference being the size. You can also see my nails pretty well there, that would be one of the prizes from La Boheme, who are #023 in this hunt. The other is a black tipped version, same simple but lovely style and you may be able to catch a glimpse in the last 2 photos of this post.
There is a lot of camping equipment to be found in this hunt, and since I just rent a skybox with not much outside ground, showing it all to you would be quite a challenge. This is a few pieces from prize #017 Toxxic Pandora, the campfire in the foreground and the roasting stump I am sitting on, plus the log propped up against my seat is the goodie giver log which you click to get either a left or right handed mallow stick. That would be the one I'm happily wielding in my right hand :) Now I just need some graham crackers...
I hope you didn't think I forgot to show you a better view of that outfit I'm wearing, because it is terrific!! Prize #011 is from JLZ Fashion, and includes the dark denim shorts (mesh), white crop tank (undershirt layer), and plaid knot top (mesh). Love this outfit, definitely plan on wearing it quite a bit!
This is a rather practical combination, here we have a system outfit found in prize #015 from Naughty Naughty, with accessories from prize #020 found at Forsaken Falls. That would be my scary Bowie knife, hehe, and my snazzy hiking backpack that has a compass and map on one side, nice bottle of water on the other. My avi sure looks prepared for anything! :)
Finally we have this chuckle-worthy outfit from LOoLOo, who are #016 in the hunt. Their male counterpart, Platypus, has included the men's version in this gift as well. I will be well prepared if I find myself in some mischief during my SL camping, so if I hide a toad in Xan's sleeping bag I'll just point to this shirt ;)
