KiB Designs Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got a sweet deal for you to check out, and it won't cost you any lindens or a group slot. Guess which I'm sharing? :) Based on what I said about not needing a group, I think it's clear that I am showing you the 5 treats for their subscribers, which I've been one of for quite some time. They haven't stated a timeframe yet so I have no idea if I should be telling you to hurry or not, but I am leaning towards 'yes'. I'm laughing to myself right now, thinking that I needed this at the DMV the other day ;) Our KiB Designs - Girl Power Top gift says "Allergic to Stupid" on the front, with a raised middle finger on the back, and the front is notched with a ring that reminds me of a piercing. The cropped length is brief to bare the waist, and it looks like the sleeves have been either cut or ripped off :) This gift includes Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes. I've paired it with the white pair from the Delizio jeans that appear here so often, a marketplace gift, but you can wear this sassy top with just about anything.

This fantastic top is our gift called KiB Designs - Fleur Top. Plaids are an essential classic and these particular colors are right up my alley :) That ruffle on the neckline is giving such playful retro vibes, love it! Next I couldn't resist sharing our KiB Designs - Emma Top gift, wrapped around and crossed in the front to meet a bold collar neckline. The color reminds me of dark chocolate, with a fun geometric print on the collar. Enchanted with Fame

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post took a turn midway through, as I got distracted by some fantastic gifts at one of the hunt stops from the Enchanted: Frostbitten hunt. Its full name is Enchanted Presents Frostbitten: A Tale From the Graveyard, so it has a bit of a spooky feeling (leftover from last month's holiday?) with the encroaching cold weather creeping over us like a chilly fog. That's my own take on it anyway :) The prizes are free, and hiding inside gravestones that are engraved with the hunt name, months, and "Here Lies a Very Special GIFT". A few stores have more than one stone waiting, and the website will let you know that as well as giving you the landmarks and hints. Our prize folders do contain the next landmark as well though, so it is not as urgent to have the site on hand when hunting. I always do in case the hint giver at the store isn't working or I wind up having to skip a stop. As for the twist in the post, you'll see that one of the stores had several irresistible gifts that stopped me in my (hunt) tracks.

Would you believe that my first look is comprised of 4 different prizes from the same stop? There's even a fifth one not shown, so you've got a handful of gravestones to track down here :) The - MicRo - Outfit Mystical Dawn Hunt consists of the top, skirt, gloves, and horns you see here. The clothing all fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, with the gloves gift having separate fur for the upper arms that is therefore optional. The horns are adjustable and look just stunning draped in blue beads and gems. The other treat is a long blonde ponytail hairstyle that curls down past the waist. Be sure to follow all your hints and find all five goodies!

[FAME] is the place to find our next prizes, a Dress, Bolero, and Belt that combine to create this lovely look. These tombstones each hold Legacy, Lara X, and Reborn sizes of their respective pieces, which can be worn all together as I am above or individually if you prefer. The dress is strapless without the bolero, and it looks just as pretty without the belt, although I'm a huge fan of the way the little pompoms pull the look together :) This is why that famous ice cream parlor touts having 31 flavors; we all have different tastes and that's a good thing. 

I'm always scouting any store I visit for gifts, so imagine my delight upon seeing the free gifts with no group tag needed! This [FAME] Bodysuit - Umi is a beauty in blue, with sassy crossed straps both front and back. There are Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizes included. The various shades of blue are making me think of the sky throughout the day, but there is a subtle spotted pattern on the front of the top portion too. 

If you're headed somewhere warm or with a pool, I'd like to suggest the [FAME] Outfit - Summer which can be yours for free too. Just buy for $0L, no group to worry about :) Our top, thong, and skirt are all ready to wear on Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn bodies, and the sheer fabric of the top and skirt have golden glitter decorating them. Because of the translucency and the thong, I would recommend checking on the dress code before you visit a public place :) I'll be wearing it in my skybox hot tub which is quite private.

For my final look this evening, I've slipped into the playful [FAME] BodySuit - Aneli which is a free subscriber gift. When I clicked the sign, it turns out I wasn't already subscribed (oopsie) so it gave me the option to do so. Once I did and got the confirmation in local chat, I clicked it again and received this cutie :) It includes sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Prima Busty, and Reborn mesh bodies, and has a fun split style with the left half of the front and back bearing dots that remind me of dalmatians, and the right is solid pink with paw prints up top and a happy kitty on the bottom. The black ruffles are a terrific little touch too, accentuating the neckline and the hips.

I really enjoyed my evening, and chatting with friends is always a pleasant way to pass the time :) Playing a cozy game together is a treat too, just relaxing and talking about whatever comes to mind while enjoying the cuteness of Hello Kitty and pals. Ewa Boutique Subscriber Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I made a discovery at Ewa Boutique that I couldn't wait to share with all of you :) They have about 7 gifts at the moment for their subscribers, so if you aren't already subscribed all you have to do is click the bottom of the sign ("Subscribe" bar) and you will then be able to claim all the free gifts by clicking each picture. First I slipped into the flirty {EB} MAE FATPACK gift. There's also a HUD of course, which offers 15 colors each so we can mix and match. Anyone else seeing Batman in the shape of the top? *chuckle* Even more intriguing is the fact that I don't see a problem with that and find it to be an added feature.

{EB} BRUNNA FATPACK just whispered "warm weather" into my ear :) Its top, shorts, and belt are a great combo, each in sizes for Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. As for the fatpack part, that's provided by the HUD which offers 40 choices for section 1 (the top), 20 solid colors for sections 2 and 3 (shorts and belt, respectively), and 5 metals for section 4 which is the belt buckle. The top's choices are a mix of solids and patterns, and how cute are those bows on the back of the straps? You just know when I see a detail like that, I am sharing a rear view to make sure you can see it too :) I always need casual outfits for the majority of the time I spend in SL, so this is greatly appreciated.

But Dawn, you think, I like my casual outfits to have a strong dose of sex appeal...well if that sounds like you, please be sure to click the {EB} RULLA FATPACK photo on that gift wall! The gorgeous {EB} ISABELLY BLUE FLOWER outfit brings a wild and free feeling, part hippie and part music festival I think. It consists of the top, sleeves, skirt, and legs metals (those striking gold chains) all of which fit Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We have straps winding around our midriff, sleeves that we can add or wear the outfit without, and a fantastic tropical pattern that is sure to turn heads.

My final look this evening, the {EB} GRETTA pink subscriber gift, gave me a fun excuse to use a pose with my hands up in a "rawr" kitty paws kind of stance. Honestly I am not very intimidating, RL or SL, so even wearing a shirt that says "SAVAGE" I'm still giving off newborn kitten vibes ;) However I do wonder if a cat with sharp claws got a hold of my clothing. The shorts are loosely laced in the front and have distressed spots both front and back, which combine with the diagonally cropped tank top for a sexy look for sure. My brain is doing it again, the 'it' where it makes me very confused about the day of the week. Most of the day it felt like Friday or even Saturday (?) but it wasn't a bad day or anything. I went out to get a birthday card for a dear family friend, slightly belated, and will have to fill it out and address it in the morning. There are no stamps in the house for some reason, so that's a tomorrow thing too ;) I had a really busy evening playing Hello Kitty Island Adventures with an online friend, chatting on the phone instead of trying to type while playing, so that was a great time and we plan on doing that every week for the multiplayer quests that reset each Monday. After 2 and a half weeks of playing, I feel like I've only unlocked like 1% of the game so far, plenty to still see and experience.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we are headed to the AlmaMiranda store, where you can find several free gifts with no group tag needed, as well as a few for various free groups. I even have a subscriber gift to share that will not take up a precious group slot, but still allow you to receive news from AlmaMiranda. Their products have a flirty style that I appreciate, and a generally reasonable price point that can be helpful to all who are watching their budgets. 

My first look of the evening is a wonderful free gift called .: AlmaMiranda :. Maitreya Denim Dress. It has a crossed halter neckline and bare back, and as the name implies it does fit the Maitreya mesh body perfectly. Chaotic Weekend

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's title is a play on words, since we are visiting a store called Chaotic rather than adding any actual chaos to our weekends :) The style here at Chaotic is sensual with lots of bold colors, so these are fashions intended to turn heads! When we land at the store, we can follow the bright arrows outside to the group gifts section which has lots of treats for various multi-designer groups (like FabFree, SLFO, etc.) but what I did was head inside the main entrance where I found a section of subscriber gifts. The first time I clicked one of those, it asked if I wanted to subscribe to receive the gift so of course I said yes. Then I was able to click all the photos on that wall and receive several fantastic gifts without taking up any precious group slots. I am looking forward to finding out any updates of new releases and events they take part in, so it is a win-win situation. 

First we have the charming {Chaotic} Sondra {Group Gift} 2022, a deep red dress dusted with white polka dots and trimmed in red lace at the hem. I was drawn to the way the straps start at the back, cross over to the front, and cross again to loop through the bodice and tie together in a bow. There was also some upsetting local news with gun related incidents in two nearby high schools, one in our exact school district and the other near where I grew up, so way too close to home. We did talk about more pleasant stuff too of course, and I am looking forward to next week celebrating my RL birthday there. Mangula Subscriber Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am sharing some subscriber gifts from Mangula, who are very generous towards their subscribers as you will see. Joining their subscriber list is free and does not take up a group slot, and the gifting scripts in their store will recognize that you are on the list and distribute the gifts when you click their pictures. Something nice I have noticed is that they send notices only when really necessary, so they are not frequent or repeated in a way that makes one feel bombarded. Their fashions are mainly designed in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite bodies, and I will note for the one gift that has a change from that. 

My first look is the Mangula Powerfull Girl Set [GIFT] which consists of the Blouse Blue 1, Skirt Rose, and Lingerie Rose. The skirt includes a HUD with 32 colors and 6 metals for the belt, which is a built in feature that I think looks lovely. The lingerie is a pairing of corset top and thong panties, both of which I am wearing on the right without the blouse or skirt atop them so you can see their style. Pretty and sexy!

This flirty set is the Mangula Sexy and Chic - Set Gift, which certainly lives up to its name. It includes the Bralette and Sweater in Black, as well as the shorts in Blue 2 which are packed with belt and chain in the same sizes that Mangula creates along with a HUD with 32 colors and 6 metals for chain and belt. Our dress is the sheer star-studded mini I am wearing over the other pieces - the top and panties on the left, and bodysuit to the right. The boots and socks have a HUD too, 32 colors each for 4 different sections of the boot plus the sole, rope (laces) and socks. I mixed things up to show you the various sections but you can just as easily choose the same color for every piece of the boot to get a uniform look if you wish. 

My final look of the evening is the subscriber gift called Mangula Daring Girl Set & Heels - [GRAN PACK]. There is a universal HUD for the dress, bodysuit, and top (not shown but the same style as the bodice of both seen above) with 32 colors each for the bodysuit, skirt, and panties which are built into the dress (right). There are also 6 metals, as you can see there is a zipper in the back and the grommets (?) where the laces go through. My best advice is to click various buttons and see what changes, until you get the look you wish :) In addition to the usual Mangula sizes of Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite, there are Kupra sizes for each piece of this set. 

It was a long day with nice weather, and I had a long overdue chiropractor visit that should help ease some of my aches and pains. My neck was in bad shape which was causing headaches, and we all know how unpleasant those can be so it is wonderful to have relief :) He also worked on my wrist, which gets wonky from my mouse usage. All in all it was a productive visit, and I stopped a few other places to do fun things like grocery shopping. *eyeroll* It may not be exciting but it certainly is necessary. Mangula Gifts

Hiya everyone! For all of tonight's looks, we visit Mangula who have several gifts available for their subscribers at the moment. No group tag needed, just accept to receive their subscriber notices and you will be able to claim lots of generous gifts. I enjoy their general style, with coordinated outfits that have plenty of HUDs to adjust colors on components of the clothing. Versatility will always catch my attention in a very good way, and this store tends to have a lot of items for sale (such as for the Saturday Sale) so you can load up your wardrobe even on a budget. All of their clothing comes in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies unless otherwise noted.

This first set is their gift called Mangula Violet Set & Heels [MEGA PACK], and it does indeed have a full range of colors and options for us. The long dress, short dress, a matching top (not shown) and sleeves are each provided in their usual sizes as mentioned above, with a HUD to choose from 20 colors each for the dresses, top, sleeves, panties, and ties for the back. Our heels include a HUD with the same 20 colors to choose from, for the boot (back of shoe, the part that is blue on the right to match the short dress), heel, and rope which would be the straps across the foot. You can get really creative here, and it is great to have the option of a more formal long gown or a flirty mini, with or without the sleeves.

I am about to show my age here, LOL, but trying on this Mangula Summer Party Set - [GRAN PACK] immediately gave me 80s Madonna vibes! We have a sheer dress with star pattern plus a top, panties, and bodysuit for layering beneath, all with a HUD to choose from 32 colors for each piece plus the belt (attached to the dress) and tie on the front of the panties, plus 6 metals for the belt. Then we can unpack the footwear, which consists of rugged high heeled boots and fishnet socks with a 32 color HUD to tint 4 parts of the boots along with sole, rope, and socks. I had a lot of fun playing with these HUDs, and wore the boots without the socks on the right to show that they look just as good without as with. On the left I layered the top and panties beneath our see-through dress, while on the right you can see the bodysuit peeking through the sheer fabric.

Time to look pretty in pink, with the gift called Mangula Sara Set Top, Short [Rose]. The top comes in a sleeveless version as well as the one I am wearing on the right above with detached looking sleeves, and the high waisted shorts are a perfect match. The HUD included offers 20 colors each for the lace on the top and shorts, and 6 metals each for the zipper and its zipper pull. I really like the style of this outfit, flirty but still appropriate to wear anywhere.

I tend to think about clothing as formal or casual, flirty or modest, and public wear or private wear...and we deserve to have lots of selections in our inventories of all categories. So be sure to pick up this private wear treat, the Mangula Angela Set Lingerie, for those times when the dress code is intimate. The bra, panties, corset, and garter belt are all included in their usual sizing (eBody Curvy, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya) for those popular mesh bodies. The pearly white shade is lovely, and the lace is quite sheer so I found just the right pose to display the outfit without showing off too much ;) 

For my final look of the night, I claimed this sweet subscriber gift called Mangula Amelia Set Sweater & Dress [Barrio 1]. It is a single layered piece with the appearance of a sweater over a shirt dress, and comes in their usual set of sizes. There is also a HUD provided with 20 color selections each for the skirt, buttons, and fly. I chose a pink that matches the top for the buttons on the left, but other great options are to blend them in with whatever skirt color you pick, or a silver or gold to mimic metal. 

It was an unusual day since I had a hockey game to watch finally, something you do not expect to happen in this kind of heat. It was an exhibition game, just to get the players used to being on the ice again probably, then the actual playoffs start this weekend. The team I root for won, so I am happy about that of course, and it was heartwarming to see the players doing what they love. Hiya everyone! Tonight I found myself back at Mangula, where the gifts and lucky boards are plentiful :) You don't even need to use a group slot, as these work with their subscriber system instead. When you click a group gift (the wall to the right of the lucky boards) or a lucky board, it verifies your subscriber status and then distributes your reward, easy peasy. I believe in the past I had shown you some of the lucky board prizes, but not the subscriber gifts, so for this post I chose a selection of both.

This first look is the Mangula Maia Set Nappy [Brown] romper, which I won from the lucky boards. It includes sizes for eBody Curvy, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies, in a deep chocolaty brown. The nap of a fabric refers to a plush surface like velvet, so the name makes me imagine this as delightfully soft.

Well, it was another unpleasant day on the news front, and I no longer have hockey to distract me since the NHL suspended their season. I was supposed to have a game to watch this evening, but the league's decision came first so no game. I understand why they had to do it, and am glad that it was precautionary rather than a result of someone in the NHL being infected. I am in a slight risk category thanks to asthma, but I promise I am being cautious :) Several people in my life have high blood pressure which puts them in a slight risk category too, so caution is the key. One of them used to make fun of me for washing my hands so often, but they are now singing a quite different tune. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a selection of group gifts to share with you, starting with some fashions for the FabFree in SL group. The group is free to join, as you can probably guess from the name, and it is the in-world presence of the FabFree in SL blog which I have been avidly reading for many years. The website and the group both provide information about sales, gifts, events, and all sorts of special offers, while the group tag entitles you to gifts from an impressive number of designers across the grid. I also have a beautiful set of manicures from ~Mani Pedi~, which is a gift for their in-world group members and their subscribers. I really enjoy their nail polishes, and I hope you do too!

My first visit was to NUTS Inc, and it is quite a struggle not to make a pun about how I am nuts about their Calla Dress :) It is the ladies gift for FabFree (yes, that distinction means there is one for the men too) and is provided on a handy delivery HUD so you choose the body brand you wish delivered to you. There are buttons for Altamura, Belleza, eBody, Maitreya, Slink, and TMP, and clicking one will deliver versions for that particular brand plus a HUD with 6 color choices. The strapless style is very shapely, with a ruffle across the bodice and a bustle of denim in the rear. 

:::Revelation::: also has a terrific gift for FabFree members, called Aila Outfits. Its top and skirt are each provided in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, with a HUD that offers 14 colors each for the top and its ruffle, then 11 textures each for the skirt's top, bottom, and lacing string. There are solid colors and patterns among the skirt choices, while the solid colors for the top match them beautifully. A quick tip to find this gift in the store: there are gifts in packages on a low platform in front of the wall with group signs on it, and this one is in the front row in a black package. It is time for a closer view of these sensational polishes from ~Mani Pedi~, their February 2020 group gift called Signature Shomei Polish. It includes appliers for Maitreya, Omega, and Slink, with 7 vibrant colors that are all taken from the store's original logo, as is their tradition with group gifts. They all have a pearlescent shimmer to them, and a metallic division between nail bed and paler tips. To claim these, you can either join their free store group, or sign up for their subscriber which will deliver you regular updates about their nail polishes and their L.S.D. clothing line. Fun fact, there are often matching nail polish sets available for their clothing releases so you can coordinate your look completely.

Changing plans makes my poor head spin, so it was an interesting day...I am still confused on what day of the week it is, but I know the next few days are going to be quite busy. As a matter of fact, I will be taking the evening off from blogging on Saturday, but tomorrow I should be able to post something for you :) It is hard to believe that February is almost over already, and we're almost to Leap Day.
