More FLF Birthday Bash Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more FLF Backyard Birthday Bash group gift to show you, since there were simply too many to fit into one post. The Fifty Linden Fridays group is free to join, and the gifts are in beverage coolers at each display so you just need to click those to receive your free treats. Be sure to visit before the 3rd of September, when the bash winds down for the summer. 

My first look combines several gifts, so let's start from the top with the Flora. blossom top ~ fatpack. It includes Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes, with a HUD to choose from 6 lovely colors. I really do enjoy floral patterns year round, so I am a big fan of this treat :) The pants come from ISON and are called anika patent leather pants (FLF Gift). These slick jeans-styled pants fit Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, and the included HUD has an impressive 30 colors to choose from. These will be able to match just about anything you wish! As for accessories, my choker is the .Quirky. Mad Lover Collar [Gift] which is provided in v1 and v2 (I must admit, I did not see a difference) with a HUD to select from 5 textures each for the band and the closure in front. Since we all deserve a versatile pair of shoes, how about these fun peeptoe platforms from Phedora? They are called Shelbie Heels ~20C. Fatpack, and as you can guess from the name there are 20 colors via HUD for each of 3 parts (top, sole, and platform). The shoes themselves are provided in Belleza, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Slink high sizing. 

I kept the ISON pants on to show you another top, the charming [JUSTICE] ASHLEY TOP - INDIGO group gift. This gathered tube top has a zipper in the front, and a HUD with 6 metal colors to choose from for said zipper. The top itself comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. The neckline hits just low enough that it frames my necklace choice beautifully! That would be our MG - Necklace - Butterfly - Jewelled - GOLD+SILVER gift from Maxi Gossamer. There are a total of 6 versions included, both metals mentioned in the name with long, short 1, and short 2 versions where the short 2 has a smaller pendant. I am wearing short 1 in gold here, with a mix of green stones that I chose from the menu you can access by clicking it. (Either left click the necklace itself, or what I find easier is to 'right click - touch' from inventory.) There are 14 gem colors to choose from, so your lovely butterfly can match or coordinate with anything you wear with it. 

Next we have the gift from VINYL which is their Tokyo Tied Top Pak Metallic Gift. It includes Alice, Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes, with a 4 color HUD so you can choose your favorite metallic hue. I was intrigued by how long the ties hang down in the front, and that opening above them is a bit racy with that flash of underboob ;) The single shouldered style got my attention too, as I have found lately that I find symmetry in fashion overrated. Those are the ISON pants making another appearance too, and they are about to make yet another...

This tantalizing top is the OSMIA gift called [Peyton], and it has a very useful unpacking HUD where you choose your body size and deliver just that set - Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, or Petite - or you can click the All button to deliver the lot. Each size comes in 9 colors: black, brown, cream, lime (seen on the right above), orange, red, rose (left), tan, and white. Just think of all the things you already have in your inventory that will coordinate so well with this...pants, shorts, skirts, leggings...and just about any color will find its mate. 

My final look of the evening is a fine choice for these still-hot late summer days. The bikini is the Aurly Bikini Tye Dye & Yellow gift from Luas, which surprised me with the monochromatic fabric instead of the bright colors I usually associate with tie dye. The contrast to the vivid yellow is beautiful! The top and panties are each provided in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. I could not resist accessorizing with the cheezu. gold citrus earring group gift, which includes 4 pairs of earrings for you to choose from. There are solid and clear versions each of their lemon and grapefruit slices, and in the main photo I am wearing the sheer lemon but in the closer view (inset) you can see the solid grapefruit with its pink hue. Who else is craving lemonade now?

This has been a very hectic evening, and I am running behind while trying to multitask, apparently not too well. Usually I can handle a few things at once, but I guess I got a little carried away adding more ;) I have an appointment tomorrow so I will be out for part of the day, but it shouldn't interfere with my blogging schedule. Weekend SL18B

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am happy to share some SL18B Shop and Hop exclusive offers and gifts found on the Snapdragon region. This is just one of 16 regions filled with generous designers who are taking part with discounted items and gifts for all who visit. The fun continues for another week and a half, as it is open until the 6th of July. There is a little something for everyone, and it is a good mix of newer participants and longtime well-known designers so you can find new favorites while seeing special releases from older favorites. 

First we are exploring the Entice display, where the exclusive discounted offers can be paired up to make an adorable outfit. This is their Daisies Top - Black - Cream Shell and the matching Daisies Leggings - Black - Cream, just $99L each at the event. They each include sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and I really like the black lace trim on both that provides a bold contrast to the pale fabric. 

Next I combined two gifts for another cute casual look, starting with the Entice - Earth Song Top - PastelFawn - Nude. This cropped t-shirt has a sweet baby deer image on the front, surrounded by flowers and greenery for that added touch of nature. It comes in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. As for my pants, they are the anika patent leather pants - deluxe gift from ISON. They include sizes for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, with a 30 color HUD so you can choose from a very wide range of shades to shine in. 

TO.KISKI is offering 4 thoughtful gifts that we can wear individually or mix and match as I have done above. The top on the left is Leah Mini Dress - Silver 1, while the right is the White 2 of the same dress. They are short enough that you can choose to wear them over pants as I have here, which are the other two gifts :) On the right is their Leah Pant - Red 4 and on the right I am wearing the Leah Pant - Gold 2. Two more gifts appear in this photo, for a look that definitely puts me in a summery mood. The bikini is the ladies' half of the Tori's Stylez gift, TS-Magz-Bikini Special Edition Summer. It includes the top and bottom in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with a HUD to choose from 10 patterns with a bonus solid black option. My new body art is the Yande tattoo Woman gift from Yuna, which we receive in system/BOM layers and Omega appliers each of Ultra Light, Light, Medium, and Dark versions. 

My final look of the evening is the formfitting mini from Limited Addiction named Miley Dress Gift Pack 02. It comes in Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, with a 5 texture HUD so you can change the look whenever you wish. I thought it would look great with a necklace, so I added the Badwolf - Kraken Necklace and discovered my hunch to be accurate :) This necklace has a resize script built in that you can access by clicking it, which is fortunate because its default size was large enough that I believe it was designed for a male avatar. I shrunk it about 25% or so, and it still looks wonderful! The dark metal gives the kraken a suitably ominous feeling which makes sense for this deep sea beast. Also if you're a hockey fan, the NHL is expanding next season and the new team will be the Seattle Kraken, so for me this is also a nod to them :)

Oh my, it is a lot later than I wanted it to be! Just a slow sort of evening here I guess, but I have an entire weekend to relax and feel better so I am looking forward to it. Group Gift & Birthday Gifts

Hiya everyone! Tonight we have more birthday gifts to open for Second Life's 15th birthday celebration, four full sims of discounts but tonight's are all from the Golden sim. Just enjoy, explore, and while you shop you will see the free gifts at nearly every display. But before we dive into our pile of presents, I have a group gift that I am so excited to share, from Entice whose info group is free to join. They have a terrific dress fatpack as their latest gift for all their members, and are always generous with group gifts plus midnight manias and lucky boards. 

This lovely look is the Entice - The Tide is High Dress Fatpack, a polka dotted frock with bold double belting in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a standard fitted version. There is also a HUD that lets you choose from 10 colors, two of which I randomly chose for above, all of which really pop against the black and white.

Over to the SL15B shopping event, you can find this flirty dress from ISON called Michelle dress as their present for all visitors. The dress comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, and includes a HUD with 3 texture choices. Two are shown above, and the other is a solid red hue. I love how the straps cross in the back and then lace things together, and that floral pattern has a tropical feel that really appeals to me.

There are so many options for your summer wardrobe at SL15B, and our gift from PinkRayne named Peony is a perfect example. It includes sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, with a HUD that lets you choose from 5 colors for the feminine floral texture. I am always drawn to shades of purple, but I definitely appreciate all the selections for this present.

Sometimes we just need something sweet and snuggly to hold, so I was delighted when I unpacked the Jinx goodies and found 5 treats inside, including Unipig Arm Pet - Pastel Pink. It has a hold pose built in, and I admit my first thought was a unicorn pig hybrid like Miss Piggy, so I was surprised to see that it is instead a precious guinea pig! *Squee* I used to spend a lot of time with my friend's guinea pigs and have always thought they were adorable, but none of hers had a unicorn horn or these shades of pink ;) As for the other 4 gifts, I will leave them as a surprise but I will say there is another type of horns involved in one, and at least one other companion.

Perhaps you noticed that my nails had some extra bursts of color tonight, well that would be courtesy of the gift from Hello Dave at the SL15B event. They are offering their Black Tip French nails to all of us with HUDs for Slink, Omega, and Maitreya. There are 35 colors to choose from, ranging from pastels to brights, each with that dramatic tip of inky black. So much versatility, and I am a longtime fan of theirs so I was glad to be able to pick this up and share with all of you.

I am having one of those days where things feel very mixed up, since I didn't get much more than a quick nap before going out this morning/afternoon, then came home and napped (which was more like my real sleep) for several hours. Now it feels like everything I did in the morning was actually yesterday, so I've been feeling all evening like it was already Sunday. At least I don't have any plans for Sunday that involve leaving the house or being somewhere at a certain time, so I can try to relax and refocus. One of the vendors at the market I go to each Saturday is from Guadalajara Mexico, and was cooking amazing Mexican street food today and it smelled heavenly! Tacos, taquitos, corn on the cob (elotes), hibiscus water, rice, refried beans...I did taste several of those and wow are they tasty :) My fridge is filled with a few days' worth of yummy meals and desserts, and I am happy not to have to cook in this heat. Hair Fair Gifties!

Hiya everyone! I finally lagged my way into the Hair Fair, hehe, and since it is their 10th anniversary celebration, every vendor has a free gift set out for us to enjoy. So it was well worth the crowd and the lag! You have until the 26th to get there, so things may settle down a tiny bit eventually. I want to go back and make a donation at one of the kiosks, as this wonderful charity event raises money for Wigs For Kids each year as you can see on the Hair Fair website. Since the fair covers 4 sims, I am focusing on one at a time, so tonight you will be seeing gifts from the Blonde Sim.

One terrific thing is that the designers aren't limited to the gifts being specifically hair, so the dress you see here is the gift from Decoy called Cosima Dress- Pink Lemonade. My hair is an adorable style from Cheveux and has a built in resize script. I chose a side view pose so you could see the cute ponytail wrapped in a braid, and that pretty color.

This awesome hair is a very generous gift from Analog Dog, in a bevy of colors and HUDs for each with fades and solid colors. There are 3 different styles of bangs, or you can wear without for a fourth look. The colors included are: blacks, dark blondes, dark browns, dark reds, light blondes, light browns, light reds (one shown), and splash.

The previous style put me in mind of Ariana Grande's hair, this one reminds me of Lorde, so apparently I have pop music on my mind which is odd since I'm more of a classic rock girl ;) This sexy tumble of curls is the gift from Damselfly and is called Livley, with a Mixed HUD for 25 color choices including some fun fades like the one shown. Fantastic!

I changed dresses to show you the gift from ISON, which based on the name seems to be just for the hair fair so if you like it, be sure to get it there :) There is a HUD with 3 texture choices, which you will see in the next photos as well. I am enjoying one of the many colors of the Murray hair gift, Catherine in the complete pack, so that includes 5 shades each of black, dark blonde, dark brown, light blonde, light brown, platinum, and red. The red 03 is shown, and the style is as striking as the color. The sunglasses are yet another gift from the Hair Fair, they are from Lelutka and are named Glare Sunglasses. I thought they looked very elegant with this hair style.

Little Bones has a wonderful gift out for us to enjoy, this is called Pogo and comes with the Duo Tone color HUD so you can pick from 10 choices of color combos including the two shown. Some have roots like on the left, while others are completely split in color from root to tip like on the right. Either way they are stunning! This comes in sizes L, L+, S, and S+, so one of those sizes will hopefully suit you just right.

Here you get to see a third HUD choice from my dress, and three randomly chosen hairstyles from the really fun gift from Curious Kitties! They packed in about a dozen hairstyles and several HUDs so you can play around and see what does what. I am showing from left to right: Lemoria V3, Cherry Bob V3, and Cyaolick V3. That last one, when I first tried it on all I could think was, "WHOA, I'm Rainbow Dash!!!" :)

Nail note of the night is simple, as I elected to stick with the newest group gift from Hello Dave that I blogged yesterday. Same skin as yesterday too, easy peasy. The lag at the Hair Fair really did a number on my somewhat moody computer, hehe, so I focused on the gifts and am hoping to let them shine.

What a day, there was a local classic & antique car show that my family was interested in, so I got to visit a farmer's market and see some amazing vehicles from at least 6 different decades, really remarkable the dedication that goes into keeping those beauties running! It was at a very popular park for dog walking, so I got to see so many precious pooches roaming around enjoying the sunny day, that made it well worth the time out in the heat.
