Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit the Lost & Found event and explore their monthly treasure hunt. There are signs at the landing area that you can click to receive a notecard with directions and your first hint, then you will follow each clue to find the next (tiny) bottle with another note inside. There are 15 total, and some of the notecards have a letter, so when you find them all you'll unscramble the letters to form a word, then click the chest at the landing zone and tell it that word to receive a key. Add the key and click all the treasure chests you can find at each display to claim lots of great free prizes :) It was a fun way to spend some time exploring a great event on a very pretty sim. Tonight is a peek at some of the current prizes, which I really enjoyed finding, with Xan's assistance.
There are several prizes here, starting with the skin from 7 Deadly s[K]ins called PLEUN which I am wearing in the Dew skintone. This is the lights pack so it includes 7 beautiful shades in Omega appliers for face and body. With delicate features and subtle makeup, this skin is truly lovely. My tops are another prize, from NamiiChu called Gabby Frills - Galaxy Gift. It includes the dark and light versions of this ruffly tube top, each in a Maitreya size that can probably work with other bodies as well. My panties here are the prize from AsHmOoT called Latex & Lace Panties SiGrey, in system layers and appliers for Omega and Maitreya. Even my jewelry is a prize, the Petit Chat Themis Armlets in Steel/Brushed Steel. They include left and right arm bands plus a HUD with 2 metal choices and 6 stone options. They will look terrific with both casual and more formal looks, it is all up to you how you decide to wear them.
This sensual dress is our prize from Stelloane called Akimi Dress, and it comes in sizes for Hourglass and Maitreya bodies. There is also a very useful HUD provided that offers 9 satin colors like the two above, and 6 sheer latex looking choices. The black bows, trim, and branch designs remain the same. I really like the shape of this dress, with the unique hemline and the bold cutouts at the waist.

It comes in dark and light versions (dark shown here) each in system layers and appliers for TMP, Slink, Maitreya, Belleza, Altamura, Omega, and EVE. The bra and panties I am wearing are included with the Maitreya body, so they are fitted especially for it.
My final look of the evening is another beautiful tattoo prize, found at the Avada display and called Aditi Tattoo. It is included in faded and fresh versions for each color of blue, pink, purple, and red, as system layers and appliers for Maitreya, Belleza, Slink, and Omega. Here I am wearing the pink in fresh on the left, blue faded on the right. This is a really stunning design, and easy to show off with an updo or short hair and the right dress or shirt neckline.
It was a rough weekend here, the memorial service for my great uncle and great aunt had a bit of medical drama (another great uncle passed out, paramedics were called but he refused transport and is okay now) but it was a very touching service and I'm glad I was there. Since most of my family has been in the military, Taps and the folding/presentation of the flag are an emotional part of these services. It is hard to remain positive but I am trying my best, and I hope my posts don't come off flat or blah because of it. I need to maintain an attitude of gratitude. Hiya everyone! Tonight I am delighted to show you a few more selections from The Wash Cart Sale, where everything is just $10L and there is a terrific variety of budget friendly clothing, accessories, home decor and more. I also finally got to visit a small hunt, not a gridwide but a single location, the Fall of Man Twisted Fairytales Hunt. The hunt ends on the 30th and yes I realize that means you have just one day and a few hours remaining, but it was fairly quick and I felt it was worthwhile to share :) Follow the link, explore ths shopping offers which are in the streets of the shopping area and are open books that are much larger versions of the hunt prize. When you're done shopping, head north until you see huge signs that say HUNT, then teleport by right clicking the trapdoor (what usually says sit here will say teleport) to reach the twisted fairytale hunting area. It is very cleverly, darkly decorated, a bit of gore so not for more sensitive visitors. You will be looking for open books like the shopping displays from above, set for sale for $0L, I believe I found about a dozen of them. I am showing you just a small sample of what you will find inside.
Our first stop at the Wash is the Marquesse cart, which has these wonderful tops and shirts for $10L each, in 5 different colors each, so you can scoop up as many as you like and mix/match them to your heart's content. On the left I'm wearing the Hot Summer Top Purple and the Hot Summer Pants Purple, while on the right are the Green versions of each. The top and shorts each include 5 standard fitmesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, eBody, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and the top has an Ocacin size as well. I love pairing a fun print with a solid in a matching color, it always makes me feel pulled together and coordinated. More fun finds from the Wash, my bathing suit here is from the Olliepop's Kids cart which actually has selections for the whole family: adult male and female avatars, TD, and a few other child's sizes. Here is one of the prizes you can find in the FoM Twisted Fairytales hunt, this stunning gown is from Syren's Song called Pandora Purple. The luxurious fabric is very detailed, and the lacing in the front and back is quite a lovely touch. This prize includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. Just find their hidden storybook and it can be yours for free.
Elgund&Nilsson have two hidden prizes for us, I believe they are two different designers collaborating on the store. On the left is NIL- Kristina Teal, which comes in standard mesh sizes, and on the right you can see the PE - Evie 5 swimsuit which includes XS-M, M-XL, eBody, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique sizes. They are both such pretty prizes, and I think of them as one for daytime and the other for a night out.
Our final look of the evening is a better view of my nails from tonight, which you can pick up at the Lost & Found event. They are the LIVIA::Summer Glitz Nails, just $99L and the HUD offers 8 designs for Slink, Omega, Maitreya, Vista, and Tuty. There are even 2 different Maitreya mani mixes on their tab of the HUD, which is a useful bonus. The Lost & Found event lasts until the 17th of July. Busy day ahead, my grandmother is being transfered to another facility for further rehab from her stroke, fortunately it is nearby and has a good reputation. I will go visit her there after my acupuncture visit, which gives her time to get settled in. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some FabFree group gifts, for the inworld Fabulously Free in SL group which is free to join. The group is for the always inspiring Fab Free blog, which I have been avidly reading for pretty much my entire Second life. There are many designers associated with their blog and group, and some of them are generously offering a gift in their store for us to pick up with our Fab Free tag active. I always enjoy sharing them with all of you :) Let's jump right in and see what I found, shall we?
Ahh, Eclectic Stars..."a little bit cheeky, many bits geeky" as their designer says in her notecards inside each of her products. I love indulging my geeky side there! The gift they are currenty offering FabFree members is this Silky Pastel Goth mini kimono style dress, in several fitmesh sizes including standard, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. The bats are disarmingly cute, and I am loving the colors.
My next stop was Ecce Bellus, and they are offering their Crushed Silk Mini w/Shoes for us lucky FabFree group members. The flirty dress comes in standard mesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique, while the shoes (called Cassie red) come in Slink and Belleza sizes. They are all a perfect match, and I am thinking some simple jewelry with clean lines for an elegant look, or a neat statement necklace to shake things up a bit.
A visit to MOoH! with your FabFree tag active will reward you with this lovely Adele Dress, in several standard and fitmesh sizes including Slink Hourglass and Slink Physique versions. The exquisite floral pattern on the skirt will bring a touch of spring to your wardrobe, no matter what the season.
Next I visited a new store to me, Millenial Rising Ashes, who are offering us this playful Mad Unicorn outfit in just two sizes, Hourglass and Physique. The top and skirt are actually a single mesh piece, and I think this is a very fun look for exploring wherever your second life leads you.
This last outfit is our gift from Heaven & Hell, their Gimmie Patriotic Dress Blue with little Stars. It is an intriguing style, with one ruffled shoulder and a bare shoulder/breast that are covered with an attached solid blue layer like a cropped tank. The skirt is surprisingly short in the back, so you may want to consider a pair of shorts or at least be sure you're wearing your favorite undies :) I also am excited to show you a closer look at the fantastic lipstick I have been wearing in all these photos, a special offer from LIVIA at the Lost & Found event. It is their Desiree Lipstick and includes 10 satiny shades, just $129L each applier pack (Catwa, Lelutka, or Omega/Tattoo). There are dark shades, lighter ones, hues of pinks and purples and even nude, so they should be flattering on any skin tone. My GA.EG Barbara mesh head has smaller lips than average and it still fits me beautifully (I used the Omega HUD) so I am very happy with my beautiful new lipsticks.
