Gifts for MGSN Group

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some fantastic gifts to share for the MGSN group, which stands for Maitreya Gifts, Sales and News. That doesn't mean that the gifts will only fit the Maitreya body; as a matter of fact I am wearing Legacy tonight :) The designers do usually offer multiple sizes in the gifts, so it is always worth checking. The MGSN group is currently free to join, so that group tag is all you need to claim these wonderful treats (with the exception of one linden $ for one gift) for a chic start to your weekend.

My first look appears to be several pieces, but it's actually all combined into one easy to wear outfit :) The ELITE - FERNANDA - GIFT is just $1L and one mesh piece, in standard mesh sizes as well as Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Slink mesh body versions. The soft shades of blue are so peaceful, from the plaid button-down to the solid tank, right on down to the faded denim shorts. I think sandals or sneakers would look particularly nice with it, don't you?

Something about the Yalin Fashion ASHA gift just screams weekend to me! Perhaps it's the sexy lace side panels, which are sheer enough that without pasties or nipple covers (which I am wearing) I believe there would be some peekaboo action happening ;) The zipper in the back is such a fun detail too, showing just how to get in and out of this strapless beauty. There are sizes for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies to fit lots of the popular brands. 

I also visited Delicatt Couture, where I found the flirtatious Csilla BodySuit as our MGSN group gift. It has a sheer lace top (remember I'm wearing nipple covers, yours will show through if you aren't!) and solid lower half with softly ruffled edges which I think we used to call lettuce leaf edging :) We receive Altamura, Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Slink Hourglass sizes, along with a HUD that offers 12 lovely colors. I usually say that bodysuits in SL can double as swimsuits, but this one is giving more of a lingerie-only feeling to me. You can certainly wear it whenever and wherever you wish if you feel differently, as long as the rules of your destination agree that is :)

Next we continue with lace, thanks to the gorgeous InViDiA_LiNe Gift. The dress and bolero are separates, each in sizes for Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu bodies. The included HUD has 3 colors each (red, black, white) for the sleeves, lace, and main dress, so we get to do some mixing and matching which is always exciting :) The bolero is optional because it's a separate piece, so just let your mood and personal style help you decide which way to wear it each time.

My final look of the night is our .:KF:. GILDA GIFT from KyaraFashion. This beautiful floral skirt set has a built in belt atop the high waisted skirt, and a low cut tank top with similar heart shaped adornments. They each come in Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu body sizes. There is a fun little secret too - an "undress me" script is built in so we can let others strip our outfit off if we wish. I suggest checking the settings before heading out in public to ensure that permission is only granted to those you choose :) Any time I'd accidentally stripped in public (always a crowded store too, LOL) it was because I somehow mistakenly replaced my outfit with a random box from my inventory, and it's been over a decade so now I'm afraid I might be overdue...karma, you didn't hear this!

My day was pretty good overall, especially dinner with my parents (frittata, ham, veggies, rice) when we also took the opportunity to celebrate my dad's birthday. My housemate threw a curveball at me, his friend with whom I have an unpleasant relationship with is coming tomorrow and Sunday to watch sports together. I strongly dislike having him around with all the asthma-inducing cat dander he brings (and noise, and drunken antics) but he isn't actually sleeping here so it will just be evening disruptions. Work trip, they paid for his hotel, can't blame him since all that's available here is a sofa. Paparazzi Group Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're taking a tour of several stores, all of which have a group gift for the Paparazzi group which is currently free to join. That means that these goodies won't cost you a thing, so it is absolutely worth the effort of teleporting a few times :) I'm always interested to see which stores are a part of each of these multi-designer groups, and the variety for posts featuring them makes me quite happy. 

My first beautiful look is the ART & FASHION - NOTTE BLU LONG DRESS group gift for Paparazzi. The gorgeous color caught my eye first, and of course the sheen of the material is a show stopper :) Maybe you noticed the style first, a halter with black choker built in and daring opening on the left leg. The dress comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. 

Another fantastic gift I found was at Delicatt Couture, where their June gift for this group is the Hellen Outfit. There are Freya, Isis, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Slink Hourglass, and Hourglass Petite sizes each for the top and skirt, with a fun HUD that lets us choose from 14 textures apiece. Most of the tops' options are prints like the two above, and all the skirt choices are solid colors that go perfectly with the various prints and solids for the top. The lace trim on both pieces helps bring the look together in my opinion, and I really appreciate the variety.

I had to get creative with my posing to show you the S-Heliya dress purple dark gift from Suna Designs, as the top is flirty sheer lace :) If you have pasties that match your skin tone, I'd recommend wearing them beneath for modesty if you wish. I love that it's in one of my favorite colors, and the side slit of the skirt grabbed my attention right away too. This gift includes sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Pushup Nerido, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, Juicy, and Mounds mesh bodies.

Summer is certainly here, so .:: Cremosas Store ::. 158 - Swimsuit Color 4 group gift is ready to help you head to the beach or a private pool in style. The deep green hue is so earthy and nature themed, like a wild jungle or ocean depths. The back is a thong style so it might be fun to layer a skirt or sarong over it :) There are Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes provided. Please note, to claim this you'll just have to look for the Paparazzi sign/logo (black, camera image) and click it; there is no picture of the gift itself, so these treats are very pleasant surprises.

I'm wrapping up the post with our .:AMUI:. "Joy" Dress - 01 gift, which is one of many they are offering for various groups. The single long sleeve is black fishnet to match the waistband, and the main fabric gives romantic Goth vibes with the red roses on golden stems that are studded with thorns. It is designed to fit Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies.

It's been a weird day, starting with the heat advisory that made us cancel dinner at my parents' to avoid being outside at all in those high temps. Then tonight I managed to trip and stub the heck out of a couple toes on my right foot, so going to the farmers market in the morning is questionable. It depends on if I can walk yet or squeeze the swollen toes into sneakers I guess. I missed last week so I really don't want to have to stay home again! Otherwise my only set plans are therapy on Sunday, and spending time enjoying the Hello Kitty game's update with new characters and quests. Dreamy Dove Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're zipping back to the Doves Dream event, in the skies above Palomma Plaza whose free group's tag will grab you all the goodies. The tag says "Doves Angel" in honor of Palomma "Dove" Casanova, who ran The Free Dove on the very same region for many years. Her loss in 2023 could have meant the end of a crucial resource for new residents and budget-conscious shoppers alike, but her dear friend Shelby took over the reins in her memory ♥. I'm eternally grateful for that, and have shared many of those free gifts (and will continue to do so) which makes it a natural for me to also show you the Doves Dream group gifts :) We have a few days left until the doors close on the 11th, but that is enough time to shop for exclusive sales and pick up these generous treats.

My first look of the evening is our K-Ks Designs Dora Free Dove gift, with many ways to wear it because of the accessories. We start with the long sleeved floor length dress in sizes for Legacy, Legacy Classic, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, then we can add gold shoes that fit Erika, Gen X, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies. The hat is adorned with a dove and is resizable, while the shoulder dove is a separate attachment with sound on touch. We can wear the full ensemble or just the parts that tickle our fancy at the moment :) 

Our sexy IOLANA OUTFIT by BA Store is the gift found at the Black Angel display, and it is loaded with coordinating pieces! The harness, jacket, and skirt are each provided in sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with the boots fitting the same bodies. Then we receive a HUD that lets us choose from 30 colors each for our jacket, skirt, belt, and harness. There are even 5 metals so you can fully customize this outfit for any mood. 

What better look to reflect our Doves Angel group tag than the Kathleen's Doves Dream Gift? :) There's a gorgeous Angel bodysuit and matching Angel heels, each in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, along with a BOM layer of white pantyhose/tights. The stars of the show are our halo and two pairs of wings, normal and sparkle, to really show off your angelic nature. There have been songs about white winged doves of course (Edge of Seventeen) and doves in general thanks to Prince, so those came to mind as well and brought smiles.

Next I had some fun with the Delicatt Couture - GIFT EXTRA COLORS - Brigith Outfit that is also yours for free with the Palomma Plaza group tag. I love casual looks for spring, so the long sleeved blouse and rugged shorts are a terrific pairing this time of year. They're each included in classic M and fitmesh M sizes for classic avatars, as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Ocacin, Reborn, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizes. The shirt has a HUD with 2 colors, both shown above, which happen to be my two favorites so I am happier than can be :) I'd like to note that the shorts also come in "standalone" versions for each size, which have a more snug waistband instead of the looser one I'm wearing with these tucked in shirts.

For my final look of the night, I am wearing those standalone shorts I just mentioned with the BlondeQueen gift called BQ::Shirley Crop Top:: 2 Mixed Colors. They both make me think of sunshine, warm weather, and good times, all of which are abundant in our wonderful world of SL.

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was pretty good overall, with a hot weather visit to the farmers market Saturday morning (the heat caused increased anxiety but I got through) and then I had pizza for Easter dinner :) My family almost never does anything the traditional way, lol, and we used a premade gluten free crust this time (Christmas dough was gross) and putting on our own toppings ensures that we'll each enjoy whatever we want.  Hiya everyone! Tonight felt like a good time to explore and find some Fitmesh Fanatics group gifts to share. The group is free to join, and there are lots of quality designers who participate by sending notices to inform us about sales and special offers. They can also choose to offer gifts for the Fitmesh Fanatics group, as you're about to see :) It's always an adventure to scout out the stores and track down the gifts, as I get to see all the new releases and any remodeling or anything that the designers have done. Then I get to see how generous they are, which always warms my heart.

We're starting at Delicatt Couture, where the Olivia mini dress V2 is our group gift for February. They do seem to change them as soon as the new month arrives, so I'm going to suggest you hurry here :) The strapless dress is decorated with silver studs and a glowy floral pattern, in 11 colors via HUD. We receive Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizes. 

I also picked up the flirty ::KF:: Ariel DressPantie gift from KyaraFashion. The dress has built in panties and comes in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies. Not only does it have a daring low neckline and bright gold zipper down the front, but it also has an "undress me" script so you can choose who you want to be able to take off the dress and leave just the wisp of panties behind :) The last time I clicked someone who was wearing something scripted like that was a complete accident, both of us trying to sit in the same lucky chair at once, and I would up slapping her boobs, LOL! I was probably more surprised than she was. Be sure to set the permissions before you head out in public to prevent accidentally stripping.

This gorgeous dress is our TOG STORE . Alky Set gift, which is a real head-turner with that bare midriff and extra short skirt. We get to choose from 10 fun patterns too, for the main dress and the sleeves separately if we wish, thanks to the enclosed HUD. The dress is designed for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. I try not to choose favorites, but that playful kitty print on the right is simply the cutest thing I've seen all day :)

Next we check out the Bens Beauty - Taia Set which is one of several gifts on the same wall; just look for the Fitmesh Fanatics hovertext above it :) The set consists of the top and skirt in sizing for Gen X Classic/Dainty, Gen X Curvy/Dainty, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu bodies, plus a handy HUD. The HUD offers 30 colors and 10 metals each for the top and the skirt, so there is plenty of potential for variety here. I love the way the straps have a little gap from each of the pieces, for an extra flirty flash of flesh. 

My final look of the evening from Suna Designs is their S-Linda silver dress, which I think is a very flattering style and color that will add some shimmer to any time of year. There are Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included. I'm trying to decide my favorite feature, and I'm leaning towards that playful bow on the halter neck with the tails dangling down the back. While you're upstairs to get this gift, be sure to look for other groups you may already be a member of for other terrific treats :)

Oh my goodness, my morning was something else! I had just finished taking these photos and notes, and was going to be headed downstairs for breakfast soon when I heard noise right behind my chair. It sounded like chewing, and I had been suspecting tiny rodents were visiting again, so I turned around and firmly said "stop chewing!" like I do when my parents' birds start chomping on something they shouldn't. Well I wasn't expecting to actually get a response, LOL, but a little mouse got offended and ran away across the room! You know I screamed a little, one of those startled gasp screams, and lost track of it but think it went behind a bin near the heating register. I didn't stick around long, grabbed a few essentials and fled to my bedroom to calm down. Couldn't bring myself to even check the room until tonight, and am relieved not to see anything amiss and the old humane trap near where it headed is still empty. We got lots of snow and the driveway is not plowed yet, but they should be here to take care of that in about 6 hours. Once the housemate will be able to drive to the park for releasing any critters, we will re-bait some traps and see what happens. Is it weird that I noticed it was a much darker color than the ones we've caught before? They were medium brown, this looked dark almost black but the same size. I have no idea if that is significant or not, lol, and not sure I want to try to find out. At least the power stayed on *knock on wood* and no harm was done. Christmas at Palomma Plaza

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I feel like Santa digging into a sack of gifts to pull out some more treats to share, this time from the Palomma Plaza Christmas tree. There are so many wonderful gifts under there, free for all members of their group which is also free to join. I still miss Palomma dearly, but I am comforted by seeing her legacy from The Free Dove continuing in the very same building :) This time of year, it feels right to focus on generosity and kindness while thanking these designers for showing us those very traits. Let's all grab a cup of hot cocoa and open some gifts!

First up, I got festive in our Delicatt Couture - Irene dress Christmas gift. This playful minidress has a single shoulder strap adorned with a bow, and a full skirt speckled with gold. There are sizes for Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies, along with an 8 color HUD. All the shades look amazing with the white trim, black waistband and bow, and of course our gold "Merry Christmas" carefully written on the front. 

Lots of my Christmas wardrobe in SL looks best suited to the North Pole weather, but not this RoxAnne Lindy Dress gift! It's one of 3 gifts I found from them under the tree by the way, randomly selected since I appreciate them all :) This dress has a daring belly cutout and diagonal hemline, two details that are sure to turn heads. We receive Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Peach, and Star mesh body sizes, plus a HUD with 8 texture choices. They are numbered rather than having examples on the HUD, so you get a bit of a fun surprise each time you click one :) 

For those colder days or nights, I'm feeling mighty cozy in the Travesty Velma Christmas gift I also found beneath the tree. It looks like a sweater and skirt but is all one piece, in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. I'm gigging at realizing that this style does in fact resemble the famous outfit of Velma from Scooby Doo, in more December-appropriate colors of course ;) The Santa on the front has a kind expression that also made me smile.

Black Angel has carefully wrapped their RITA XMAS OUTFIT by BA Store for us to find under Palomma's tree, and I'm getting a mix of cheery 80s vibes as well as a sexy modern twist from the harness. That harness as well as the top, skirt, and boots will all fit Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The bow I'm wearing is also provided, and is adjustable so you can fit most hairstyles. The HUD enclosed will let us pick from 10 colors apiece for the bow, top, harness, skirt, and boots, with 5 metals. I'm sure it's the bow that made me think 80s, although the first one I thought of was Madonna and it was a black bow. This one is nicer from being more colorful :)

My final look of the evening will help us look elegant all year long. It is the [Vips Creations] - Female Outfit - [GloriaA] gift, one of several from under the tree, and starts with a high collar gown in 5 standard mesh sizes and a fitmesh version for classic avatars, along with Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. The included HUD offers 9 colors to choose from, and you can just see the ivory heels peeking out from beneath the gown on the right up there...there are Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high feet sizes included. Ivory is a great neutral for any of the gown's colors, and there's a bit of glitter to it so the heels are a terrific addition. 

All I'm going to say about the mouse situation here is that our grand total thus far is 5 caught and released, mostly because one of the traps no longer sets correctly so it is just one trap at a time instead of two. Otherwise my day was focused on the housemate getting the car repaired again (a leak decided to return after prior repair) and a much more fun evening of Hello Kitty gaming :) Friends make everything better, and this particular friend always keeps me up to date on the trends I miss out on (she is on the ticky tocks, and I am not, LOL) and helps suggest places I should check out on my weekly outings. It's encouraging, and she is generally a cheerful sort that boosts my mood every time we talk. Tomorrow is dinner at the parents', and I think she said she's making teriyaki chicken which sounds tasty to me. Delicatt at Palomma Plaza

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I visited Palomma Plaza, as I love to do from time to time, and noticed that Delicatt Couture had changed up their gifts there since I last shared them. So I eagerly changed to my "Doves Angel" group tag from the Palomma Plaza's free group, and picked up all of their generous treats for us. The entire main floor of this location is loaded with gifts from dozens of talented designers, so it is a must-visit spot for new residents, returning residents, or anyone who needs a new look without spending a fortune. We've got men's and women's clothing, accessories, hair, tattoos, AOs, and much more :) I appreciate the variety, and even more than that I'm always pleased to know that Palomma Casanova's legacy of generosity and love for SL is being honored with this plaza. Your old landmarks for The Free Dove will still work if you have any, as it is in the same exact spot and the build is identical. Enjoy your visit!

The daisies at the hem might make one think of springtime, but seasons are all relative in SL because we can visit any hemisphere or biome with the click of a teleport button :)

This sweet outfit is our Delicatt Couture - Ingrid Romper with Lace 2 gift, and let me tell you - she is a beauty! There are 5 fitmesh standard sizes as well as Belleza Venus, Maitreya, and Slink Physique sizes, plus a HUD with 6 color options. The black scalloped lace brings the drama and maybe a touch of spooky season vibes ;) Surely I can't be the only one who thinks adding lace to just about anything can elevate its style? Maybe that's because there are so many types of lace out there, so you can mix things up quite a bit. 

Inside the Delicatt Couture - BABI long dress gift you'll find 3 more boxes, each with its own color of this elegant yet sensual gown. I'm wearing Green on the left and Old Gold on the right, with Vine (wine) being the other one not shown. Each of these comes in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. The neckline plunges to the navel in the front, and the back is mostly bare except for the gently draped straps that remind me of a peace symbol ☮.

Next I slipped into the fantastic Emanuelle Long dress gift, which includes both colors shown - blue sweet and sweet green. Each of these are provided in standard mesh sizes and a fitted version for classic avatars, as well as sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies. The enclosed alpha layer came in handy to keep my hips and thighs from trying to poke through, lol, as I have found over the years that older Maitreya mesh models seem to not fit the 5.3 as sleekly as they must have for prior versions. I adore these gowns with their crossed straps and intricate linework down the front and back, with a teeny train to add to the elegance.

My final look of the night had me swapping over to my Lara X body, an easy and worthwhile task to be able to share the Special outfit - Sept. 24 - Delicatt Couture gift :) Our dress fits Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu bodies, with coordinated strappy sandals in Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya/Lara X, Reborn, and Slink sizing. They are more of a golden hue compared to the vibrant orange of the dress that made me crave a mimosa, and that's coming from someone who hasn't even had one in 30 years, LOL! Its halter neckline goes really well with the side cutouts that go all the way around to the back, showing off lots of midriff. 

It was a pretty good day here all around, as the heating system is now fixed (they flushed the system and it is noticeably warmer in here now) and then I got to spend my evening playing Hello Kitty with a friend and watching my favorite hockey team win :) They finally released an event related flower in HKIA, just for one week instead of the usual few weeks, but I've already gotten all three base colors so I'm off to an excellent start. They are shaped like Hello Kitty's famous bow, and are a nod to her 50th birthday. I'm eager to see my parents and their birds tomorrow, so I can see in person how much the sick one has improved. Now if only we could convince him that chewing on walls is dangerous...it's like having a 2 year old child but for a couple of decades. Doves Dream Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are heading to Doves Dream, an event in honor of Palomma Casanova (of The Free Dove) that started yesterday on her RL birthday. The location is the same region as Palomma Plaza but up higher, and is gorgeously decorated with a very heavenly, ethereal motif that looks amazing :) We can browse a wide range of sales offers from over 80 designers, and if you are in the Palomma Plaza group (free to join) and have your Doves Angel tag active, there are dozens of generous gifts for you to enjoy. Some of these gifts are in boxes similar to the Palomma Plaza ones, with the black and gold logo of that location, so be sure to click any of those you see as well as any color or style of gift box. Fun fact, you may notice a lot of sunflowers here as decor and on sales items; they were her favorite flower and she'd even created a stunning garden in SL as a memorial to her sister. I'm so grateful to Shelby Monitor for keeping Dove's spirit with us in SL through the plaza, this event, and so much more.

For my first look of the evening, I am feeling flirty in our [FAME] BodySuit - Aneli / Gift. The pink and black colors are a favorite combo of mine, and I love the way it's split so one side has spots and the other is solid pink with pawprints and a smiling kitty on the front. There are sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Prima Busty, and Reborn mesh bodies included in this thoughtful gift.

Another treat I'm eager to show you is this {Le'La} Sunshine Dress Set ~ Exclusive Gift. It starts with the strapless belted dress in Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu sizing, while the choker has a similar size set of Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. Add the earrings if you wish, and your outfit is complete :) There is also a HUD provided, so we can select from 20 solid colors and 20 patterns each for the dress, dress ruffle, belt, and choker, plus 20 colors for the sunflowers. So we can tint the flowers of the earrings, choker, and belt all at once to coordinate everything beautifully. I feel like the red on the right makes them similar to poppies, which also have a symbolism of remembrance.

My first reaction when trying on our Delicatt Couture - Hennia Dress with Gloves was a loud WOW! Both our dress and the matching gloves come in versions with and without shine (sparkles!), and each of these are provided in sizes for Legacy, Bombshell, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The HUD offers 40 colors each for the dress and the gloves, so there are many ways to wear this fun gift that will all help you look extra festive :) I suggest using your body's HUD to alpha out your hands if they don't play nicely with the gloves, as I did here with my Legacy body.

Next we take a peek at the lovely *Ydea* JUMPSUIT SHORT gift for the event. This bodysuit is unzipped past the navel, revealing lots of cleavage as well as the belly button. It fits Legacy, Bombshell, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, and includes a HUD with 25 colors for the fabric. I really like the golden zipper color and particularly against the white, just a classic color combo that caught my eye :) 

My final look of the night is our Jaya Outfit By BlackbirdLace gift. The striking dress has the look of a turtleneck blouse tucked into a corset waisted layered skirt, in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu bodies. The heels fit Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn feet, laced up the calves to just below the knee. As I'm sure you can guess, the gift also includes a HUD, and this one lets us select from 30 colors each for the upper and lower parts of the dress and the heels. Time to mix and match!

Ugh...sad to say that one word (sound?) wraps up my week so far. My anxiety is through the roof and I didn't make it to my dentist appointment, then the housemate's ankle got intensely worse so they went to the podiatrist for a second opinion. It's not gout after all (which is why the gout medication did nothing) but it is an injured tendon, so they need my assistance with lots of things like wrapping the foot/ankle and getting things like food and beverages. The instructions are to stay off it for 3 weeks, which ruins several layers of plans including my outings to try to be able to leave the house again comfortably. I've got my fingers crossed that we can get some things delivered that they usually go purchase, and that my parents can help us a bit here and there. MGSN Group Goodies

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting several wonderful stores to pick up their generous gifts for the MGSN group. That stands for Maitreya Gifts, Sales and News, so all of the gifts should fit that body; some are compatible with other brands too, coming in various sizes or sometimes BOM which works for most bodies. I did switch from my Lara X body to my 5.3, since some of these gifts I found are a bit older and do not have a size for the Lara X. It's really easy to switch though, and I do recommend having an outfit folder for each body so you can add/remove your bodies, HUDs, and if you choose to use a different shape for each, you can swap them out quickly. It's also worth mentioning that the MGSN group is currently free to join, so this is a very budget-friendly post :)

My first look comes from smesh, and is their lovely Gift Dress To MGSN Group. The mini dress has a high neckline to counterbalance that short, short hem, and it comes in Maitreya and Petite sizing. There is also a transparency HUD included, with + and - buttons as well as an Off button to return to full opacity. On the right above I clicked the + button a few times to make the fabric somewhat sheer, which gives the bold pink color a softer salmon tone. 

This gorgeous pairing is our Delicatt Couture - Hellen Outfit gift. The shirt fits Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Hourglass Petite, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, while the skirt comes in a standard fitted size along with Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. I'm sure it won't surprise you to see that we also receive a HUD with it, with 14 choices each for the top and skirt. Most of the top's textures are patterns, with a couple solids mixed in for good measure, and the skirt can match any of the patterns with a solid color. One detail I can't help but admire is the daisy-shaped lace on the neckline and the skirt's hem, really pulling the look together :)

Next I visited the incredibly generous Hilly Haalan store, teleported to the gifts building (TP pad where you land) and walked to the back left corner where I spied an MGSN group sign. There are a few great gifts here for this group, so I'm sharing two of them in the same look above :) The [hh] Gift Aileen Dress is the beauty on the left, and the equally striking [hh] GIFT FOR MGSN Divya Dress is the wrap dress I'm wearing on the right. Each of these are provided in a size to fit the Maitreya mesh body, and I really appreciate both their similarities and their differences. Aileen has a flirty slit on the right thigh, while Divya's wrapped front gives a tulip type opening in the front to show off a little leg too :) I also got a kick out of the contrast of the pale pink Aileen to the deep burgundy that Divya is sporting.

I need casual athleisurewear type outfits in SL too of course, so .: AlmaMiranda :. MGSN Animal Print Track Suit fits that bill in style :) We receive the tank top and pants each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. The pants have a black stripe down each leg, matching the waistband, leg cuffs, and the edging on the tank top. As I mentioned yesterday too, I really enjoy animal prints for playful moods.

My final look this evening is a terrific gift from a store who is a go-to for me when it comes to these multi-designer group gifts :) The MONOMANIA - Dynamics outfit has a sporty lifted tank top and fun pants with racing stripes, which each fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The coordinated sneakers are designed for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink flat feet, so they work with the same sizes/bodies as our clothing. So where is the best park nearby with a walking or jogging path? :)

Gifts For MGSN Group

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I bopped around the grid visiting several MGSN (Maitreya Gifts, Sales & News) group's participating stores, finding plenty of treats to share with all of you. The group is free to join, and many of their designers have gifts for anyone visiting with the group tag active. Just look for the MGSN sign, frequently among other gifts for multi-designer groups like this. We can't really tell how often these are swapped out for others, so any of these could be changed soon and you might not want to hesitate if you see something you just can't live without :)

My first stop was {Poeme}, where the MGSN tag will let you claim their lovely Espionne Bleu Summer Gown. I know I know, lol, it isn't exactly summer according to the calendar here anymore, but in SL we can visit any climate we wish to at any given moment so this is still quite handy. The gown comes in sizes for Erika, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, and has a tropical feeling thanks to the amount of skin shown :) 

I made a last minute decision to add what I call modesty flowers here, those white coverings I popped over my breasts in Photoshop since the lace of these dresses is very noticeably sheer in that area. The Delicatt Couture - Cassandra Gown P8 is a pack of 3 versions of this beautiful long dress - lace blue, blue, and lace C.5 - each in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizing. The one on the left above is blue lace, and lace C.5 can be seen on the right with their gorgeous rear view and pert train. The one just called 'blue' is solid without the lace so I could have worn that to avoid showing off the nips, lol, but I really wanted you to see the intricate lace.

The [COSMOS] Joyce Dress / 20 Colors Fatpack group gift for MGSN is sure to turn heads too! This sleek minidress is unzipped to show off cleavage, and comes in Maitreya, Lara X, and Petite X sizes. The HUD provided has 20 colors for the dress and 5 for the metal, so your zipper and heart-shaped pull can also change to suit your tastes. So pretty!

Another gift that reminded me of sunshine and warm weather is the ND - Meiah Denim Dress from Nala Design. This sweet dress has pockets on the skirt front and spaghetti straps with alternating colored gemstones, all adjustable with the included HUD. It's got 15 choices each for the outside up, outside down, inside up, and inside down portions of the dress, 12 diamonds colors for each set of gems, and 4 metals, so as usual I'm going to suggest playing with the HUD and seeing what all it does :) The dress fits Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies, as well as having 5 standard sizes included.

My final look of the evening also made me think 'variety', and 'sexy' and 'wow' :) The [If design] Beck dress fits Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD offering 20 colors each for the bra portion and the main dress. On the left above I was going for contrast, then on the right my goal was to show off that side slit so I kept things more simple with all in blue. As you can see, it looks fantastic either way :)

The slight cold I was developing last night has continued to worsen today, so I'm a crabby feverish-feeling magpie with a sore throat and cough. I've also been listening to the housemate coughing until they gag, at least a dozen fits of that, and as an emetophobic (fear of vomit) I guess you can imagine that my mood was not improved by that at all. Sigh. I am not going to my parents' for dinner tomorrow because who knows if I'm contagious or not, and it isn't work risking. As for blogging, I will if I feel up to it but that is not guaranteed at this point.
