SAKI Event Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am inviting you to the SAKI Event, which opened a few days ago and is just open until the 17th. There are lots of exclusive offers to be found here, and most of the designers have a free gift for us with no group tag required to claim them. A few are $1L but that is immediately refunded, and I believe a couple were more in the range of $10L (not refunded) so still priced very low and affordably. All of what I'm sharing tonight was free, with or without the payment/refund of a single linden dollar. The event location is decorated very prettily too, so I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

My first look is the very generous No Cabide :: Love Pink Set gift. It consists of the tube top, jacket, and skirt on the left, plus the bodysuit on the right and the heels with built in socks, all to fit Freya, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The accessories are provided too, such as the tamagotchi in my right hand on the left above, the lollipop in my mouth, and even the headset with cat ears that have an animated texture on those ears! So much packed into one free gift, and that is a lot of pink ;) The skirt says LOVE on the waistband, while the bodysuit reads "You are Beautiful" in a lovely script font. 

More pink appears in my next look, but more of a salmon shade that I also enjoy. This is the [EN] Jessica Dress - Gift from Enigma Apparel, and it is a fun style with a single sleeve and dark strap holding things in place above the asymmetrical hemline. This gathered dress fits Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. It is beautifully textured with delicate shadows.

I also happily claimed this cute RD Style gift called Top Lizi. It is a summery sleeveless crop top with plunging back, included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. There is also a HUD with 5 colors (it says 6 but I only saw 5 buttons) of the sweet gingham texture. I paired it with the blue pair of Delizio jeans from their marketplace freebie fatpack that appears here on my blog quite often, in system/BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya and Omega for each shade. They are handy for my next photo too...

Two more gifts make an appearance here, starting on the left with the .:YASU:. 10 - Carpe Diem Sweater. It bares one shoulder and is named for the wording on the sash in the image on its front. This gift includes eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. The silky tank top on the right is our Biah Strap Tank - Ivory gift from *Gloss*. It is ready to become a staple of your wardrobe in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink Physique mesh bodies. 

One more look for the evening, this is the flirty Analogic - Biah Body GIFT. It comes in eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizing. The pale pink fabric has darker pink glazed donuts (Homer Simpson's favorite!) while the whole suit is trimmed in two types of wide sheer lace. I like the way the neckline plunges down to a sweet white bow.

Love For All Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I would like to tell you about an exciting free gridwide hunt called Love For All Hunt. We are looking for a red heart with a heartbeat line through it, like an EKG readout. There are so many impressive stores taking part, and the free hunts these days are few and far between so I am especially grateful for this adventure :) Xan helped me with this hunt so I am thankful to him too ♥. The website will guide you with the landmarks and hints, and there is a symbol in front of each stop that is offering a unisex prize so there are plenty of reasons for you to use teamwork of friends and loved ones to find all these hearts. The hunt lasts until the end of the month, so you have about 2 weeks to go. 

My first look this evening is the AMERICAN BAZAAR prize called [AB] Cocktail Dress Red. It has a deep V both front and back of the neckline, and long full sleeves to balance the short slit hem. The prize includes Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Tonic Curvy, and Voluptuous sizes. 

When you find the heart at Prairie, you can claim their Love Tank for absolutely free! It comes in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, with a 6 texture HUD. There are 3 colors of each design shown above, so there is a nice variety for this time of year or any time. 

Another fun prize called [genny sweater] comes from the heart at Sass. There are sizes for Legacy and Maitreya bodies provided, plus a HUD with 5 textures to choose from. They feature shades of red with a couple browns included, so it made me think of chocolate covered strawberries. Both tops went well with the white jeans from the Delizio marketplace gift, a fatpack of various colors in system/BOM layers as well as Maitreya and Omega appliers that appear here on my blog fairly often.

This adorable outfit is the No Cabide prize called NC :: Love Set {Valentines Day Gift 2021}. The top and shorts are each provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, and the top reads "everybody love somebody" across the front. Also included are the heart shaped glasses, choker, two bracelets for the left wrist that stack wonderfully, and the love lollipop with a built in hold pose as shown. Pink and gray are such a pretty combination, and this style is extra flirtatious. 

My final look of the evening can be found right across the shopping area from the one before it, in the DM store. This is their Dress Love, a strapless dress with very short full skirt (even shorter in the back!) that looks terrific in its bold red shade. The prize includes Freya, Legacy Perky, and Maitreya mesh body sizing. 

Another weekend has come and gone, and I have been pretty busy in SL especially compared to RL. The weather is going to be icy again tomorrow evening into Tuesday so I will be staying right here and trying to stay safe and warm :) I predict there will be tasty hot tea in my immediate future. This Old Heart of Mine

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have several more Womenstuff Hunt prizes to share with you, 3 of which can be found at the same location. The prizes are all either $0L or $1L and hiding inside red t-shirts with green and brown stripes for this round, so be sure to follow the hints on the website to find the correct round's prize. The prior ones are either solid red or red/white, so it is easy to tell the difference, and if you find an older one that you don't already have you can still pick it up if you choose as an added bonus :) The hunt runs until the end of the month, so about a week and a half remain for you to find all these wonderful prizes. My song-inspired title came about while listening to the Rod Stewart version of the Isley Brothers (and Supremes and a few other talented artists over the years) song, and I hadn't heard it for so long that it made me smile.

For my first look, I have one of the three $1L hunt prizes from ROA, all of which have their own hints on the website to assist you in finding them. This is ROA MICELLE DRESS, a sleek mini in a vibrant shade of deep pink with playful cutout in the back. It includes sizes for Altamura, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink, Legacy, TMP, and Tonic Curvy mesh bodies.

Next we see the ROA BERRIE DRESS, an airy little slip dress in Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. It has a beautiful suede-like texture in that cinnamon shade of brown, very chic for fall.

The third of our trio of ROA dollarbie gifts is their LISSETTE DRESS, a mini with detached sleeves that is gathered and tied at each hip. It is provided in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. There is also a HUD with 6 texture choices, including the 2 patterns above and 4 lovely solid hues.

I combined two prizes from different stores for this look, and I think it turned out to be a very cute casual outfit :) The top is the $1L prize from No Cabide called Mya Sweater, and it comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, with a HUD that offers 6 fun choices. The one on the left says "5% Unicorn, 95% Ninja" above and below the panda with rainbow unicorn horn, so funny! As for the pants, they are the Still Got It Jeans [Fuchsia] from No Nuts and are a free hunt gift. They are provided in sizes for Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. I love the distressed touches and the tiny slits at each ankle, because details like that always catch my attention.

For my final look this evening, I kept the No Nuts jeans on and added the $1L prize from WinTeRwooD Designs called .Amber Cropped Sweater. It is such a flattering style with those extra long sleeves and mock turtleneck, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. There is also a HUD included with 15 color choices, two of which I am enjoying above. There is bound to be an option that looks perfect with your favorite pants or skirt, with all of those great possibilities.

Today was mostly about planning for next week, so not exactly an exciting day but still fairly positive. My weekend is about to become busier because of it, but nothing like the following long weekend with the actual holiday ;) It will be good things though, well worth the planning stress. Group Goodies from No Cabide

Hiya everyone! Tonight we start the weekend with several group gifts from No Cabide, so you only have to make one stop and join one free group (if you aren't already a member) to claim all the outfits you will see in this post. I really appreciate the fact that many of their outfits include shoes too, so you are easily dressed in style from head to toe. Another feature that tickles my fancy is the use of HUDs to add versatility since there are several colors or patterns to choose from without additional stress on the inventory. When you arrive at the store, head towards the right and look for a big lit sign that says GIFTS with an arrow to the right, you can't miss them :) You will also pass by a pair of lucky boards for the group members, important to note since I am showing you their prize as well tonight.

Glorious Group Gifts

Hiya everyone! Tonight I revisited one of the stores whose MGSN group gift I shared yesterday, since there were several of their own group's gifts that I really wanted to show you too. So for all of tonight's looks we only need to make one stop, FLG No Cabide, and claim some terrific group gifts with their free group tag. There is a nice assortment too, casual and formal and even lingerie, so I appreciate the variety as well as the quality and the use of HUDs for even more versatility.

First we have the FLG Rock Girl Dress + HUD 10 Models, which has a mixture of girlie and edgy. It has the look of a top and skirt but is a single mesh piece, in fitmesh standard sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. There is also a HUD with 10 combinations of solid colored shirts and printed skirts, two of which are shown above. They all have the word ROCK fading down from the single shoulder of the top, and the colors match very well with the skirt prints.

Continuing a musical theme, we have this FLG Marcelly Outfit in 30 Models. Group Gifts for MGSN

Hiya everyone! Tonight we will have a look at some of the group gifts available for the MGSN (Maitreya Gifts, Sales, and News) group, which is free to join. There are many participating designers who send information through group chat and notices about special offers, and some do offer gifts in their stores for those wearing the MGSN gift tag as well. I enjoy visiting these locations and seeing what's new, and it is a bonus to be able to pick up some treats for myself as well. I am grateful to every designer who shares their hard work with us all, as discounted sales or free gifts, to make things affordable for everyone. While the group focuses on products to fit the Maitreya body, it is by no means limited to that, and as you will see the gifts are often suited to many mesh bodies and classic avatars as well.

My first stop was Sweet E's, who have several gifts for various groups upstairs including this sassy mini for the MGSN group called Tish Love Dress. It comes in standard mesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP versions. I especially like the artistic doodle style print, that appeared on another gift of theirs I blogged recently and really caught my eye then too.

This alluring strapless mini is our group gift from The Best Of Me, called Krizia Chemise Mini Dress Purple. It is provided in standard mesh sizes, Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP. The texture is fantastic, and this is one of my favorite colors so I am very happy to add this to my wardrobe.

Two words that popped into my head when I first tried this outfit on are "soft" and "flirty". It is our MGSN group gift from Kyara Fashion, their Joyce Top & Shorts, and each piece comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Werewolf, and Fox sizes. The pretty mauve is accentuated by creamy lace ruffles, and the shorts are laced onto the hips for some extra peekaboo skin. Wow!

[WellMade] in their generosity has made appearances on my blog several times recently, and they have a gift for MGSN as well :) This is their Blossom Romper, in a terrific knit texture of lovely purple with black ruffled trim, flared out at the hips and legs to really accentuate your curves. It comes in sizes for Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique. I think the accessories you choose to wear with this can really dress it up or give it a casual feel, and the style of shoes you pair it with will make a difference too. 

For my final look this evening, I chose this Chanell Mini Dress from FLG No Cabide, which is as versatile as it is vivacious. It was another busy day, but one I definitely enjoyed, and I am looking forward to two more fun-packed days with my houseguest. It was decent weather, just on the chilly side, and Sunday will be rainy but mostly spent indoors so that isn't all that bad. No Cabide Group Gifts

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am sharing some group gifts from my morning visit to No Cabide, and their group is free to join so these generous presents won't cost you anything at all. There are goodies for many other groups as well, but I chose to focus on the store's group for today. There are milestone gifts and a Halloween gift still available, so if they catch your eye as they did mine, I cannot tell how long they will be there so I'd hurry :) Another part of SL wardrobes that I am very fond of is nails, a great manicure/pedicure can make any outfit feel even more special, so tonight I am showing you a fantastic LIVIA set you can purchase at the SCALA Yin/Yang event for November. 

First we have the gift celebrating 12,000 group members, called No Cabide Sara Outfit 4 Models. It consists of a sweater and skirt each in sizes for standard, Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, as well as the black bag, left and right watches, gold glasses, and scarf in 2 sizes. The shoes have the socks attached and are available in plenty of sizes too, just unpack the body type (Slink, Maitreya, etc) and each of those packs contains everything you need. There is also a HUD that lets you change colors/textures, 4 each for the sweater and skirt and even the shoes. The purse has a built in hold pose to ensure that it hangs from your hand correctly. 

The gift to celebrate 14K group members took on a distinctly Harley Quinn flavor, with the sexy turned up to full volume! This is called Harley Set and it starts with the top, shorts, and garters that each have sizes for Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. There is an Omega applier with the socks you see here in both designs, white and checkered, and the other goodies included are the wedge sneakers, the choker I am wearing, and the fun glasses in 4 sizes, all of which contain resize scripts. Even the most angelic personality among us tends to have a dash of mischief, that devilish side that comes out to play every now and then. I am running a bit late tonight, distracted by breaking news that is deeply upsetting me. There is a huge fire at the nursing home/senior facility where my grandmother stayed for a while during her rehab from her stroke, and while she is safely at home I can't help but worry about all those residents who were evacuated into the cold and have to wait to be transported somewhere safe. I guess having seen first hand how vulnerable the residents are (most are wheelchair bound or bedridden) is making me worry even more than usual. All I can do is pray, send positive vibes, and keep an eye on the local news websites. And to think, a few minutes before hearing about this, I was fretting about a hockey game...that sure seems tiny in comparison now. Fabulous and Charitable

Hiya everyone! There is plenty to show you on this chilly but lovely Friday evening, ways to look good and feel good. I picked up several group gifts for the FabFree (Fabulously Free in SL) group, which is free to join and is the inworld group for the amazing FabFree blog. They are such a valuable resource of information and tips to find free or inexpensive clothing and much more, for longtime residents as well as the newer denizens of our virtual world. Meanwhile, we have the opportunity to help animals in need by visiting Rally To Rescue and purchasing some extraordinary items from a few dozen different designers across the grid, with all proceeds going to no-kill, non-profit volunteer rescue organizations. Ghost Bullys MC, our host and organizer, is focused on rescuing pitbulls but are still looking out for all animals who need us. It is a worthy cause and I am so honored to be a tiny part of it by blogging these offerings.
