ADN Gifts and Prizes

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I realized it had been quite a while since I posted about ADN, where the group is free to join and there are tons of group gifts as well as prizes from lucky boards and lucky chairs. Even more good news - men's fashion can be found among the freebies as well! This way we can all get involved and have some fun winning treats :) The lucky boards/chairs are on the back wall, and the group gifts are on a wall behind the reception area on the side that faces the lucky area. Just look for the words GROUP GIFTS of course :) So I didn't have the group tag active at first and I did win a prize from a board, but then wandered to the group gifts and therefore had the tag up, so I am not certain if all of the boards/chairs are public use or need the group tag to win. The last time I blogged their generous goodies, they were all restricted to the group members, so I was surprised that I managed to win without it. There is seating if you wish to relax here for a while and watch the letters change, but some boards will need you to come a little closer to be within 10m of them to click. Can you tell that's the voice of experience? I don't mind that as long as I don't have to bump into anyone to get close enough. Okay, time to see what I added to my wardrobe today...

I decided to start with the group gifts, specifically our ADN December GROUP GIFT 2020. This fun outfit has a strapless minidress and biker style denim jacket, each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Hourglass Petite, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies as well as a standard fitted size each. There is also a BOM layer pair of pantyhose, sheer black with darker polka dots that comes down to the ankle. The belt you see on the dress is built in, and the dress can be worn with or without the jacket or the pantyhose for equally attractive looks.

Another group gift that I couldn't resist sharing is their ADN AAISHA Gift, a stunning halter minidress with edgy chains decorating it. There are Erika, Gen X Classic, Classic Dainty, Gen X Curvy, Curvy Dainty, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Peach, and Reborn mesh body sizes, along with a HUD that offers 8 dress colors and 2 metals. We can also adjust the materials with the HUD, and I think I've got it turned up to the highest setting here because I can see the reflective shine in a few places :) 

Next I changed into a group gift that is about to come in very handy, the ADN BMValentine dress :) It says "Be my Valentine" across the front with hearts scattered about, to match the hearts on the top layer of our skirt. The gift includes standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. The marbled shades of red add a very elegant touch, and really make the white trim pop.

One of the lucky boards came up my initial, so I happily clicked and claimed their [ADN] Justified prize. This flirty outfit consists of the halter top, jacket, and skirt seen above, all in standard mesh sizes, plus sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP bodies. The mega-HUD has 12 color choices each for the top, jacket main, skirt, skirt belt, undies, jacket inside, and jacket belt, along with 2 metals. This means we get to do lots of mixing and matching, always fun! The panties are built into the skirt, making it handy to wear at once.

My final look of the night is our ADN - Nikki prize which you can find on the lucky chairs. The bikini top and bottom are separate pieces, and the fishnet dress comes in short sleeve and long sleeve versions. All of these come in Legacy and Maitreya sizes, with a HUD to pick from 18 great colors each for the dress gold, dress silver, bikini top, and bikini bottom. So your dress will have the metal clasps of your choice holding all those strands together, and attaching our fringe just right :) I meant to do the top and bottom different colors in one of these, but went on muscle memory I think and just...shrug ;) You can use your imaginations I'm sure, and this fun outfit makes me want to jump into my hot tub.

It was quite a day, as I did a trial run to the farmers market location that I used to go to every week, but the panic attacks have kept me home for almost 2 years now. So the market is run by a family business and naturally we saw one of the family members there, lol, and she spotted us too and waved. I was too busy freaking out and didn't wave back, so I can only imagine what she's thinking now after not seeing me for so long and then being ignored :( I wasn't trying to be rude, it was my anxiety's fault and I am trying to get there this coming Saturday so I might be able to apologize in person. ADN Gifts and Luck

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am pleased to share a couple of group gifts and some lucky chair prizes from ADN. Their group is free to join, so their gifts and group-only lucky boards/chairs won't cost you a thing :) The group gifts are to the right when you first enter the store, then head up the stairs (in the mens department room to the right) to find lots of lucky boards for guys and gals on one wall, then another packed with lucky chairs, lucky boards, and guess & win boards for men and women. I really appreciate that there are so many options here for male avatars and generous freebies, since I know that they get overlooked in SL for fashion availability. You guys deserve to look your best too, and without breaking your budgets! The ladies' styling leans towards flirty, casual, and fairly colorful, but there is a nice amount of variety too.

My first look this evening is the ADN Back to School group gift, their most recent offering. The top and skirt each come in eBody Reborn, Erika, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite sizes, with a HUD that lets us choose from 5 colors each. Then we can add the BOM layer tights, and bracelets for both wrists. 

The group gift called [AdN] PARTYNIGHT really lives up to its name, with a style and texture that are just right for a wild night out. It is provided in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. The three straps leading to the collar in the front are mirrored in the back, and the short hemline looks like it was made for dancing.

Somehow I had more luck with the chairs than the boards, so this lovely [AdN] Alexi Dress prize is from one of the ornate lucky chairs. There are Altamura, Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Tonic Curvy mesh body sizes included, with a generous 24 texture HUD. There are solid denim colors and lots of patterns, like the sequins and paisley seen above in various hues.

Another prize I am grateful to have won is the shimmery [AdN] NIGHT CLUB outfit. Its jacket and skirt both come in sizing for Altamura, BBL, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with 8 colors for each, so we can mix and match to create our favorite look. Don't you just love how the cutouts on each piece really tie the look together?

For my final look this evening, I slipped into the ADN KAMILA prize that I also won from a lucky chair. This stunning outfit consists of tank top, skirt, and legwarmers each in Altamura, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Signature Alice, Hourglass, Physique, Star, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Minim mesh body sizes. That is a lot of potential, and so is the included HUD with 32 sparkly textures for each piece! Versatility is important in any outfit, and this is loaded with it since we can wear with or without the legwarmers, and match or contrast the colors each time we wear it. The back of the waist of the skirt reminds me of a collar the way it's folded down, and I feel like it would frame a lower back tattoo very well. Then we just add simple pumps or open toed shoes and we are ready to go!

My chiropractic visit went pretty well, and I will be doing gentle stretching exercises to help the muscles in my neck relax and stop hurting so much. Lots of times I forget about them or get too busy/distracted to bother, which is clearly a mistake since they can help keep my neck healthy and happy. It was very rainy off and on all day, but I got there between showers so I didn't even get wet :) I have another appointment (family doc) on Thursday, so this week is fairly busy...the good news is that I'll be having a visitor staying here for a long weekend starting Thursday evening. Lucky at ADN

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I initially had group gifts in mind when I visited ADN, but when I went upstairs and hung out for a while at their lucky boards I won several terrific prizes that just begged to be shared. So grab a lucky charm, join their free group, and have some fun with the 2 walls of lucky boards and chairs at ADN. The wall with chairs and boards has prizes for men and women mixed together, while the one that these prizes are all coincidentally from has a section of women's boards and a section of men's. Either way, just about everyone can find something among these prizes that they will enjoy. When you land, you will need to follow the walkway to the main store (largest building) and the group gifts are to the right when you enter, but to get upstairs for the lucky boards you will want to walk right through the men's department to find the staircase. 

My first look is the ADN - JAIA fluo pink prize, a top and skirt in identical hot pink with fun openings on each. Both pieces are included in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes. 

Next we have the ADN - Boyfriend Denim Cross, another lucky board prize that could double as a dress or a long shirt. I really like the split texture style with denim on one half and crosses on a black background for the other half, with contrasting cuffs for added flair. The prize includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. 

I was also fortunate enough to win this ADN - Adelie - Camo dress, which has a ruggedness thanks to the pattern and straps. It comes in Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. The shiny metallic links and zipper caught my eye too, lots of great details to appreciate here. 

The intricate webbing atop the neckline of the ADN - Riverdale purple prize definitely caught my attention too. The halter and skirt are each provided in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine body sizing. The plummy color is beautiful, and the style is rather flirty :)

No need to have a case of the blues when you can wear a pretty blue dress instead! This prize is called ADN - Belen - Blue, and it has been designed with front zipper, fishnet trim at the hem, and a network of studded straps on the bodice and skirt. It comes in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, with a HUD to hide or show the straps that hold up the dress. This looks great strapless or with the straps visible, it is entirely up to you which way you prefer to wear it. 

It has been quite a day...my housemate came home from helping the ill family member out of state, and managed to bring a head cold back as a souvenir. I have a sore throat and a headache, which overall is not too terrible and I have no fever (unlike the housemate) so I expect to feel better fairly soon. *fingers crossed* This is one thing I definitely appreciated about mask wearing and increased handwashing, that cold and flu season was much lighter because of them. Now things are relaxing and we are probably going to see a lot of summer colds, which are unpleasant to say the least.
