Eclectic Assortment

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have all sorts of tempting fashions to share from a variety of sources. We start at The Wash Cart Sale, whose current round opened a few days ago and runs until the 25th of the month. There is a little something for everyone there, as I have spotted clothing for men, women and kids plus home decor, accessories, textures, and more, all of which are priced at $50L or lower. My next stop was The Free Dove, which has been bringing us generous free gifts from designers all across the grid for well over a decade now. You just need their free group tag "Blessed by a Dove" to claim any and all of the offerings you see there, either categorized by type (tonight's looks are from a Womens Casual display) or by designer since some have their own display with multiple gifts. Last but certainly not least, I have a Saturday Sale offer from Entice to show off :) I do enjoy variety, as you can clearly tell.

First we see two selections from the several at the Artistic.Rage cart at The Wash, incidentally the same sim where their mainstore is located. On the left I am wearing their A.R Blossom Dress, and on the right is A.R LoveStruck which is the same alluring style in a different pattern. Each are available for just $25L and with standard mesh sizes along with a Maitreya version. That deep V in the back is such a flirty touch, isn't it? There are other styles of dresses and outfits waiting for your visit too, all priced affordably.

We are also stopping by the Dark Water Designs cart, filled with delightful selections for you to enjoy. The lovely DWD - Silk Ao Dai - Blue is on the left above, one of a few colors you might choose for just $30L each. The one piece outfit has the appearance of a long split tunic layered over loose pants, and includes standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous body versions. Another charming style is the DWD - Cold Weather Jumper Set, which I am wearing in Purple on the right. I have had The Free Dove on my mind for a while now, and am really happy to have found a couple of gifts to share that suited my weekend mood :) This treat from Fatal Fashion is their Outfit 129 - White, combining a single long sleeved ruffled blouse with a ruffled miniskirt and thigh high boots laced up in the back. They are each included in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. The gift also consists of an upper arm bracelet, hoop earrings, and a nose piercing for plenty of accessorizing. 

On the same Womens Casual display, you can also find this lovely G SLOANE gift called GSC Tendrils. Those tendrils are a subtle golden color across a wash of blues that resemble ocean waters, bringing so much appeal to this flirty halter dress with cutouts both front and back. For my final look this evening, we head to Entice for a new release that they are offering as their Saturday Sale selection. This is their Blinding Lights - Wine outfit, a sweater and skirt set in a luxurious color with really touchable looking textures. Whew, what a day! The farmers market was enjoyable as usual, and I got compliments on my new unicorn patterned mask which was very comfortable and I am inclined to order a couple more now that I know they do prevent sunglasses fogging issues. (They are referred to as 3D masks or origami masks if you are curious.) The weather was beautiful, and I got some delicious food that always makes my week easier. I am trying to focus on positive things, and I think SL is a wonderful place to forget life's troubles and relax for a while. Fantastic Fashion Dazzle and Free Dove Finds

Hiya everyone! Tonight we will be exploring the Fashion Dazzle event again, which is open until the 25th of each month and as I mentioned yesterday, has a delightful theme for November of Geometry Shapes in Fashion. I will be showing you dresses from PaperMoon and some home decor from Storaxtree, all of which can be found at Fashion Dazzle this round. I also will be sharing some more gifts from The Free Dove, for which you just need their group tag (free to join) to claim. I've been a fan of Free Dove for years, and greatly appreciate that it brings together so many generous designers who offer gifts suitable for men or women, new or longtime residents, classic avatars or mesh bodies, it is very inclusive. 

Our first look is actually two dresses by PaperMoon that you can pick up for just $240L each at Fashion Dazzle. On the left is PaperMoon- KISS ME Gown V1, on the right is V2, and they each include 8 fitmesh sizes: standard, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. They are both beautiful designs, one with circles in pops of color and the other decorated in jazzy sequins. We also have such a flattering rear view too from this style, that dramatic plunge of the back.

All you have to do to reach The Free Dove from Fashion Dazzle is head out the door and cross the pretty courtyard, and follow the path into the Free Dove building. The courtyard has signs about each month's mini hunts as well as featured designers, so it is a fun little journey. Once inside, I headed to the women's clothing displays where I found this deep green gown gift from Gidget's Style. It's called GS TFD Adanna Giftie Nov2017, so it is new here for this month, and includes standard mesh sizes. Just have your Free Dove group tag active and give the box a click, and it's all yours for free.

Perhaps you are in the mood for a paler shade of green, and a more revealing style of dress, well the gift from G SLOANE has got you covered. It is called GSC English Garden Dress, and is provided in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. Before I had my mesh bodies, I found that sometimes a size meant for a mesh body fit my shape fairly well, and I had enough various alpha layers in my inventory that one was likely to match up to what I needed. 

This generous gift is from FurtaCor and is their Katty Dress, which comes in sizes for eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, with small and large standard sizes as well. There is a HUD that offers 29 textures for this flirty mini, solids and a variety of prints, and the studded clutch in my left hand is included in this gift too. There is even a tattoo included but not shown (sorry, had a forgetful moment) as an Omega applier, that covers the shoulders and arms, can be worn with this or any outfit you choose. 

My last photo will need to be clicked so you can see it full sized :) The dress is a Free Dove group gift from LUXE Paris, their ARTSY Dress which includes standard mesh sizes plus Maitreya and Eve Slim versions. The ruffled hem and floral bodice are a clever contrast to the stark black and white coloring, so it's not overly girlie. If you head back over to Fashion Dazzle and visit the Storaxtree display, you will find several color variations of the stunning Plates & Candles Shelf B4 I am standing next to here, just $75L each and with a built in resize script. The land impact is a modest 7, and I was particularly drawn to the teal of the plates and candles but the others each have different colors if you prefer. Those dainty lights draped beneath are a wonderful touch, and the rustic style suits so many different popular home decorating ideas. It will also be fun for the upcoming holiday season and they are transferable, so pick up extra for gift purposes too.

Free Dove Hunt - G Sloane

Hiya everyone! For tonight I thought about a post to start off the weekend with something fun and pretty to wear, and I realized I didn't show you any of the Free Dove hunts for October yet. There are 3 this month as with most months, in addition to all the goodness that is already there for free (as well as the upstairs with huge sales from selected designers) and tonight's featured designer is G Sloane. You are looking for tiny boxes with their logo, I think there were supposed to be 10 but I found duplicates of two of them so only 8 different ones as of this morning. Honestly I can't complain, there are still 8 generous prizes to be found :) I am showing you a sample here of what I found, just remember to look high and low as well as behind things when doing the Free Dove hunts. 

We start off with a great look for dancing this weekend, that is the first thing that came to mind when I tried on prize #1 Sparkle and Shine in Blush Pink. This stunning dress comes in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes: 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, so you should be able to find a terrific fit no matter what shape or body you prefer.

Maybe you were thinking of going somewhere a bit more casual, but still are in the mood for a flirty skirt. If so, find prizes 3 and 8 to complete the set I'm wearing here. The top is #3 Afterlife Tank in that same lucky 13 of mesh sizes I just mentioned. The Denim Ruffle Micro Mini Skirt can be found in prize #8 in standard mesh sizes. The great thing about denim is that it makes for an ideal neutral, and can be casual or dressy depending on what you wear it with.

I wore that same skirt from prize #8 to show you another prize, this is their GSC Black Velvet Tank with that soft crushed texture, standard mesh sizes for this cool cutie. You can find it in box #4 at Free Dove.

Prize #6 contains not just one but 2 colors of Check's In The Mail, a cleverly named dress with softly gathered sleeves and neckline. It looks fantastic in either the red or the purple, and when you find that tiny box you can claim both colors in standard mesh sizes each. 

One last look of the night, this sexy sweater dress has plenty of potential for whatever your SL forecast holds this weekend. It is prize #7 and called Darkstar Dress, in that lucky 13 of mesh sizes (5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink) and I am appreciating that rich knit texture which makes it look like the warmest, softest sweater imaginable. Dress it up with some jewelry, dress it down with some tights or leggings beneath, this is versatile enough to get you through the upcoming weekend and so much more.

Hair note of the night: I finally realized what a hastily scrawled note (yes, on actual paper with a real live pencil, LOL) was trying to remind me a few months ago, to go check out a store that is new to me for a group gift. I am so glad that I finally visited Bold & Beauty, not only for this wonderful updo called Avery but a few other terrific group gifts are available as well. The group is free to join, which is always good news. Avery here is a fatpack with plenty of color HUDs included, and I do appreciate the chance to change colors on a whim without having dozens of separate hairs in my inventory.

Free Dove Hunt - G Sloane

Hiya everyone! As you may know from some of my previous posts, Free Dove is a wonderful resource for free gifts to help old and new residents alike, and they host monthly hunts with 2 or 3 of their participating designers. One of this month's hunts is by G. Sloane, and you'll be looking for 10 tiny boxes, red with a white side with the G Sloane name on it. Tonight I am sharing a sampling of those 10 prizes inside.

First we have a great pairing for the approaching spring, prize #1 is the Bronze Tank Top which has that cute tail in the back. The GSC White Skinny Jeans are prize #5, and I really enjoy the mid rise waist and the slight crinkle at the hems. Because of the alpha not playing nicely with one of my hips, I went with the size medium instead of my usual small and I really like the way it lends a baggy look.

Next we have prize #2 which is their Valar Morghulis Halter Dress. For those who aren't familiar with the world of Game of Thrones, that is High Valyrian for "all men must die" and is used as a greeting in some parts of their world. The traditional response (valar dohaeris) means "all men must serve" so it's not entirely a morbid thing. This concludes the nerd lesson for the night ;) The frightening part is that the only thing I had to look up was to verify the spelling of dohaeris. So this stunning dress has a terrific deep neckline, subtle pattern and alluring styling.

Another great look for warmer weather is prize #3, their Kiss Kiss Top V.1 which I've paired with those cute white skinny jeans from the first photo. The top has a solid layer with zebra-like stripes in glittery red, and there's a sheer layer atop that with bright red kisses on it. Like all of tonight's prizes, this comes in standard mesh sizes.

It seems like I'm not the only one in the mood for various shades of pink lately :) This is our prize #8, the GSC Candy Wrapper Beach Tunic. The colors and style are so fun, and it really does have a summery beach feel to it.

One last look for the night, another delightful palette of pinks can be found with prize #9 GSC Pretty in Pink Shift Dress. The texture works out in a lovely way to have that bold V at the waistline to really accentuate our curves, doesn't it?

Nail note of the night: I decided to go with a free gift available at Free Dove, not from the hunt but a regularly available freebie from Pink Cherry that I believe I've blogged here before. It's their PC Finger & Toenails HUD - Metallic for Slink, and has 8 different colors with a wide black stripe across each nail. Very pretty and great color choices!

I've been a bit distracted tonight trying to make plans with my best friend for the weekend, so I think that's a very valid reason for running late :) I haven't seen her in a few months and I'm really excited!! I hope you're having a beautiful day/evening, magical magpie hugs to all of you :)
