It's time to kick off the weekend, and I am doing so by showing you some more Womenstuff Hunt prizes that have great potential to be part of your weekend plans, no matter what those may be. I enjoy gridwide hunting very much, always have, and this one is a biggie so don't wait too long :)
Tazz Creations has this versatile skirt set in their hidden shirt, just $1L gets you this pretty Vogue Skirt and Shirt in standard mesh sizes plus a fitted version. There is also a nifty HUD for each piece, 6 textures to choose from, so you can mix or match to your heart's content. I seem to have been in a matchy mood this morning ;)
If your weekend plans extend no further than the bedroom, well I recommend a visit to -E L L E- Couture first to grab their free hidden t-shirt. It contains this gorgeous Lovelace lingerie in Magenta, sure to drop some jaws. There are system layers plus HUDs for Omega, TMP, Physique, Belleza, Maitreya, and Lolas, and that sassy choker with bell is included too. From the back you can see the seams on the stockings, a wonderful touch to be sure. I really felt like this needed some shoes (especially since I was prancing around my backyard like this? LOL) with great heels, so I paired it with our prize from Image Reflections. These are their Leather Heels - LG Rivets - Black, for Slink High or compatible feet. It made me think of that old duet Leather and Lace, combining these gifts, so now of course I'm earwormed which happens to me at least a dozen times a day.
I am loving the variety of colors I get to show you tonight, too, like this playful free gift from Exquisitely Exposed. It consists of an Omega applier for the Showin My Stuff Top, and the Stuffed Shorts in Blue are mesh in several sizes: standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. There is no system layer for the top but you can pair these shorts with a wide variety of shirts if need be, and I had to show the back so you could see the detail of the cute zipper on those shorts.
Celtic Wolf has this wonderful, vividly colored Aurora Wrap Dress hidden in their free t-shirt for us. It includes what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes (5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink) and has a terrific texture that makes me want to touch it. I can't decide if it looks more like suede or brushed silk to me, but I am a very tactile person and would probably wind up 'petting' this dress like I used to do to someone's suede jacket all the time without realizing it. Boy, did I get teased for that.
My last look of the night is our fantastic prize from Lilbit Sass, where finding the hidden t-shirt for just one linden will earn you this vibrant Color Splash Maxi in the lucky 13 of sizes again (5 fitmesh, 5 standard, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink) and I love those colors! On a personal note, I would like to suggest that while you are there please take advantage of the sale that is going on, as it is for a worthy cause. The owner is raising funds because of a RL personal tragedy, and I have spoken highly of her quality merchandise before, so this is a good time to pick out some great clothing while helping someone through a rough time.
Tomorrow morning is going to be a doozy for me...the farmers market I go to is next to a micro-brewery, who are celebrating their first anniversary with a big block party type event, and the crowds are sure to be massive (I don't much like crowds) and the parking will be a zoo, etc etc, but there will be plenty of good food and beer. Admittedly I am not a beer person, but there will be German sausages (6 kinds!) and potato salad and all sorts of noms, along with the usual farmers market goodies. Hiya everyone! I have some more goodies to show you from the Flawless Cart Sale & Hunt, plenty of treats to be found in the cheery red poppies hidden in and near the carts.
This fun outfit is in the poppy from J&A Rock Culture, and it includes the mesh tank top, system layer capri pants, and the silver necklace I'm wearing too. The ladybug graphic is so cute, isn't it? I used the nail HUD I mentioned yesterday from Celtic Wolf, the Red Orchid one, as the deep red matched well.
For something a bit more revealing, you could go with the shirt found in one of the DragonLady Designs poppies, which I matched up with this very cute and super short skirt from *Zesty*. There are 3 poppies from DragonLady Designs, system layer clothing without appliers. My nails are one of three colors on the HUD from L'Anguisette, which is called Fandango and includes violet, magenta, and mauve shades.
Entice has this treat for you in their poppy, the striking Wildflower dress in Abstract. I used the Celtic Wolf nail HUD again, and accessorized with bracelets from Beloved Jewelry. Their poppy contains these light gold bracelets with gemstones, along with a darker gold bearing the same pretty gemstones.
How about a trio of party dresses this spring? The poppy from ::JOLI:: contains all three mesh dresses in each standard size, and I can't even choose a favorite so I had to show you all of them :) They combine simple styling with terrific texturing.
For something a bit more dramatic, we have this intricate dress called Voir Mesh Frock from Snowpaws. The long sleeves and the texture give it a more winter feel, but then the skirt is not only short but partly transparent, so this dress is a bit of a mystery to me. I was pleased to have a chance to show off the other Celtic Wolf nail HUD again, Brushed Metals.

Hiya everyone! I decided to stop by the Flawless Cart Sale and Hunt, and as always I am thrilled that I did. Not only do we have the pleasure of exploring the bargains on the carts, but we get to search for poppies with free gifts in them. Not all of the poppies are on the carts themselves, but most of them seemed to be. Let's have a peek at what I found in some of them :)
If you're feeling formal, this beautiful gown is a great find. This is from .:KosmO:. and is called Dhiaga, and I used one of two prizes from Celtic Wolf which are both nail HUDs. This one is called Red Orchid and has several different background colors, but I went with the black to match the dress.
This was fun because I got to show off several gifts in the same photo. The top is the inside the poppy from ORQUIDEA, called Gypsy Sunshine, and I matched it up with the lovely Shayna leather skirt from Karma. Together it feels like fun meets edgy to me, and I'm simply crazy about the style of the skirt. I added the earrings from Luminesse, they are very pretty ladybugs in yellow and emerald that add to the springtime feeling. The nails are from the other Celtic Wolf prize, Brushed Metal, with a nice variety of metallic shades.
Here is a quick peek at the poppy present from Shady Ladies, an adorable shirt called Birdhouse in your Soul, this is system layers but comes with appliers. The crazy bird lady in me could not resist this :)
This outfit is possibly my favorite from the entire event, with an 80s vibe and nautical touches, and look at that fun belt! :) The top and skirt are in 2 separate poppies, both from TD, one is on their cart and the other isn't but it is nearby. The bracelet and earrings are two of 3 poppies from *N@N@*, the third being a ring that I am not wearing but it does match the rest of the set, which is called Piece of Spring. For my nails, I chose a pale blue color from the Dulce Secrets gift, Pearl Slink Nail Appliers. There were 7 other pastel shimmery choices, all quite pretty.
If you're still in the mood for something blue, but want something a bit more dressy, how about this beauty from More Than Ever? The dress and the separate belt each come in 6 sizes, and you can leave off the belt if you choose. I really like the touch it adds though. I kept the Dulce Secrets pearl nail polish, it seemed like a natural pairing :)
I couldn't possibly show you all of generous gifts in one post, so please stay tuned for the next installment. I really do love cart sales, what a great opportunity for shoppers to find amazing bargains (and pretty red flowers full of freebies in this case!) along with the chance for designers to show their finest work to a new audience along with their faithful fans. I know I'll be back for some more nail HUDs as well as an outfit or two (or three..or more...) before the event is over on May 3rd. You can tell my weaknesses, hehe, and some discounted retail therapy is good for the soul!
