Pretty at Palomma Plaza

Hiya everyone! Tonight found me feeling sentimental, so I headed to Palomma Plaza to see what gifts I haven't shared yet :) I think of it as The Free Dove part two, as it is in the same region and building while being similar by housing tons of generous group gifts from a huge range of designers. Much like Dove's (Palomma Casanova) intentions, it is to help new residents or those who are trying to save some money (hi, LOL) by having gifts for men and women, ranging from clothing to accessories to skins, hair, and much more. The group is free to join, you get a Doves Angel tag to wear, and that tag lets you click all the amazing gifts and claim them for free :) As for tonight's post, I have gifts from May24 and Graffitiwear to share, and my link should give you a red arrow to right between the two displays.

First we see the May24 - Esther Dress, which is one of 4 gifts they are currently offering here at Palomma Plaza. It has such a classic style with the handkerchief hem, puffed sleeves, and crisp pointy collar! There are sizes for Freya, Legacy+Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies provided, along with a HUD that lets us choose from 6 colors. Each color has a preselected hue for the trim, and I think they did a great job coordinating the looks :)

Another gift that really appeals to me is called May24 - Ladonna Dress Group Gift. I get Boho vibes but I can also see if someone wanted to use it as Medieval roleplay type clothing too :) This gift includes Freya, Legacy+Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn sizes, as well as a HUD with 12 colors apiece for the top, skirt, and laces. The cat print on the corset belt is so fun, and goes really well with any color combo you come up with for the rest of it. The laces mentioned on the HUD are on the front and back, tying the corset and the bodice with lovely loose bows.

Our May24 - Aiko Dress gift is a fun look for most seasons with its long sleeves, cowl neck, and playful short hemline that is slightly asymmetrical. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy+Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The included HUD has 15 color choices so you can get creative with adjusting its appearance. I'd gladly layer leggings or jeans beneath if I wanted to wear it to a chilly region :)

Next I've changed into the charming May24 - Ariana Dress. This gift will fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy+Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, and has scooped cutouts on each side as well as a deep rounded neckline. We also receive a HUD with 18 main colors and 4 hues for the buttons down the front. The open sides really help accentuate our curves, don't you think?

For my final look this evening, I've changed into the beautiful Graffitiwear Summer Sweater & Pants gift. The colors and floral pattern also feel springy to me, so I wouldn't even limit this to one season :) The sleeveless top and slim fitting pants are each provided in sizing for Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Petite, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. I think a white pair of shoes/sandals would look terrific with this if you don't have just the right shade of pink, and I'd also consider trying to match the green in the floral print or even choose silver or gold to match any jewelry I'm wearing.

I feel tired again, and that is probably going to be worse tomorrow when my area gets bombarded with bad storms while I'm trying to sleep. My anxiety support group meeting went really well though, and I did find it helpful while also participating in supporting others. There are some really good people in the group, and we're all at different stages of healing which makes it interesting. I think my outing this week might be back to Target optical for an adjustment of my new glasses, lol, not the most exciting thing but clearly necessary. Doves Enduring Dreams

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have several more Doves Dream gifts to share, which are all yours for free when you visit the event with your Palomma Plaza group tag "Doves Angel" active. It is a yearly shopping event timed to start on Dove's RL birthday (March 11) and continues until the 11th of April. I've got a subfolder of demos that I'm still trying to narrow down to my final purchases, but there is no shortage of gifts to show you in my folders either :) It suddenly feels summery in RL so I am appreciating the distraction too.

I realized that I have several tops to show you, so I slipped into my white Delizio jeans from their marketplace gift (fatpack, BOM and Omega appliers) to help me. Then I added our [ARTI'S] I am an angel - FREEDOVE 2026 GIFT, which made me smile for so many reasons including the nod to The Free Dove :) Our mauve tank top has a beautiful image designed with wings, halo, and "I AM AN ANGEL" in text, and I don't always live up to that but I try ;) There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies.

The next shirt that seemed to beg me to blog it was our striking RoxAnne Kennedy Top gift. This bare shouldered beauty comes in Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn Waifu mesh body sizing, along with a HUD numbered 1-8. Each number is a different texture, either solid or pattern, so it feels like a playful surprise every time you click one :) The style will suit your favorite skirts just as nicely as any pants or shorts, so it is very versatile indeed.

At first glance, the May24 - Eva Dress - Gift reminded me of the 80s and shoulder pads, power suits for women who were starting to find their power in the workplace. These pointed shoulders are more of a ruffle though, an extension of the collar that frames our cleavage just right. We receive sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Legacy+Perky, and Reborn bodies, with a HUD that offers 5 classic colors. Gorgeous!

Moonstar has a terrific gift out at the event too, their *V* Jenna Dress, Earrings and Sandals. I love having clothing that comes with matching footwear and jewelry, and I must admit that my alt has been wearing this look for over a week already :) The dress is provided in classic M and fitmesh M as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Ocacin, Reborn, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. Then the sandals fit Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn feet, while the silver feather earrings are adjustable in case you need to edit and scooch them into place a bit. The doves on the floral pattern are a touching tribute to a kind and special person ♥.

My final look of the night is yet another generous gift, the zOOm - BabyBell Outfit. It makes me think of a pajama party you'd see in the movies :) Our top and shorts each come in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy Boobs sizes, while the shoes will fit the flat feet of each of those bodies. We also get a handy HUD with 3 colors each, so we can mix and match. Did you notice the left leg opening of the shorts is slightly pulled up to bare a cheek? Maybe a fellow partygoer tried to give me a wedgie, but I have pillows in my inventory that would make a good weapon ;)

It was a much warmer day here today, and tomorrow will be a few degrees hotter, so I am relieved that this room has dropped from 78 to 74 in the few hours I've been in here :) I am going out early and won't have time to prep for a blog post tomorrow, but will be back Thursday with something new for April I hope. Be sure to be careful of any potential April Fools jokes, and please stick to the truly harmless pranks like putting googly eyes somewhere or changing something that can be easily swapped back. Golden Shop & Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am sharing gifts found at the Golden region at the Holiday Shop & Hop, one of 18 regions where 360 amazing designers have stores set up with special discounted sales and a gift for everyone. As usual, the FabFree crew has worked very hard to create and maintain a spreadsheet of the gifts, which can be sorted by the tabs on the bottom. I'm deeply grateful and impressed by their dedication, and it's so useful if (like Xan) you are only looking for male gifts or want to find out where a certain brand is and what their gift is, for example. The creators work so hard too, decorating their booths for the holidays and picking out special items to put there for sale :) Remember, I do what I do because I'm so in awe of the designers and their generosity, and enjoy being able to share with others. We've got plenty of time left to visit S&H before it closes on the 4th of January, but then again is there ever enough time with the holidays looming to do all the things we wish? ;)

For my first look I am feeling cozy yet flirty in our L+B PBR Cranberry Yoga Set from Lapointe + Bastchild. The tank top and leggings are each provided in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. That knit pattern really caught my eye, and the back of the tank top is nicely vented for a steamy session of hot yoga :) There is a notecard enclosed reminding us that a viewer with PBR ability is required to see the texture, so I figured it was worth mentioning even before you claim your gift, just in case. I use the most recent Firestorm release, which is why I am able to see and share it :)

The May24 - Eva Dress is a lovely gift with plunging neckline, peaked shoulders, and pinstripes to flatter our every curve. There are Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes provided, as well as a HUD with 5 colors for us to choose from. They're all terrific, so deciding on your favorite might be the most challenging part here ;)

This is certainly the time of year where we see lots of great shades of red, like on this gorgeous On A Lark gift called *OAL* Sheryl ~ Berry. We've got a flattering draped bodice that highlights the cleavage, and a halter neckline that is one of my classic favorites. The dress fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, and includes a HUD with both textures shown above. The solid might be a shade darker than the patterned version, or it could be an optical illusion because of the contrast of the deeper design, but either way I am a big fan of both options. 

I've combined two gifts here for one playful and festive look :) The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. LLALLALLAMA Tee made me giggle, which is not unusual for their consistently clever and amusing designs, and what better way to honor their animal symbol? I'm very fond of llamas and alpacas, although I've only ever had the pleasure of meeting an alpaca so far. The top comes in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody Classic, eBody Reborn, Waifu, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies, all on an unpacker HUD so just deliver the one you need. Then I added our ::FTCOR:::THAIS_XMAS_LEGGINS::: FATPACK gift, immediately playing with their texture HUD which has 20 seasonal patterns for us. The leggings fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, and I am wearing Lara X so I just had to alpha a bit of the bum and thigh areas to make the Maitreya size fit like a glove. 

My final look this evening also made me laugh, so naturally I had to share the MALified & ZED - Santa BackPack gift :) Santa is resembling a muppet to me here, and that is not a bad thing by any means. The bright red backpack comes in Legacy Male and Lara X sizes each for strapless tops or strapped, as well as a resize male version and resize female version. The clear window on Santa's belly shows some candy bars, so I guess we're toting around some sweet treats in our new knapsack. I did play with the HUD for those leggings again to show off a couple more texture too, like I was not kidding when I've said before that I cannot seem to resist touching ALL the buttons.

It's been a decent day, particularly with the good news that we found someone to excavate our driveway from all the snow ;) The housemate contacted a few people from Nextdoor and one of them was here two hours later, plowing and shoveling at a decent price. Whew! So we're not snowed in anymore, and I tried to find the official snowfall but the best guess I found was 7.5 - 8.8" which is a fair bit. I'll be going out on Wednesday instead of Tuesday because it'll be about 10 degrees warmer, and I'm hoping Trader Joe's has a nice cocoa mix I can pick up. Otherwise I am still up to my eyebrows in SL holiday stuff, lol, enjoying every bit of it even while feeling a tad bit overwhelmed at times. Shop and Hop Hollyhock

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings us back to the SL21B Shop & Hop event, which is open until the 21st of this month and loaded with exclusive offers, discounts, and free gifts for all. This time I am focusing on treats found the Hollyhock region, one of 20 moderate regions (there are also 4 adult rated ones) with 20 designers set up in each location. Second Life is definitely celebrating their 21st birthday in style! Please don't forget about the FabFree blog's listing, a spreadsheet with links and photos of all the gifts which can be sorted by store name, region, or type in case you want just men's gifts or decor for example. Their team worked so hard on it, and I'm beyond impressed by their devotion to helping all of their readers.

My first look of the evening is one of two exclusive sales offers from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co., called SUNSHINE IN A BAG Tees. It absolutely spoke to me as soon as I spotted it, and everything in their display is 40% off so now is a great time to pick up some comfy tees for yourself :) This one has 3 versions via HUD, the two above and another with a sunshine that says Sunshine in a Bag. In case you can't quite make them out, the left above has "When you can't find the sunshine, be the sunshine" on it and the other reads "You are my sunshine" with the "o" in you being a pretty yellow sun. I have had a hard time finding the sunshine lately in life, so this is a sweet reminder to look within. All of their tank tops are provided as unpacker HUDs with standard mesh sizes along with eBody Classic, eBody Reborn, Waifu, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizes. There is a free gift there too, but this time I am letting you discover that one on your own. It's worth visiting, that's for sure. I'm wearing my white Delizio jeans with it, one of several hues for free on the marketplace that are so handy for showing off goodies that are tops only.

The GoodVibes store has a few gifts for us, like this fun GoodVibes Only Womens Tshirt which is self-referential and a great motto for all. This pretty cropped tee will fit Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Star mesh bodies, and there is a cap included but not shown that has the same slogan on it and contains a resize script. My current hairdo simply does not play well with hats. There's a men's version of this gift too, and a swimsuit set for both in yet another gift package. Many thanks to them for their generosity!

Next we take a gander at the beautiful May24 - Laura Dress - SL21B Gift. This playfully styled halter dress is gathered in a few places and has long loopy bows to add some fun details. There are sizes for Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn sizes included, as well as a HUD with 21 color options. A few of those have two colors at once and 2 are tricolored like on the left above, with the rest being a wide range of solid colors. So tempting!

The generous FurtaCor gift includes 3 colors of their Xyca Dress, so I randomly chose two to show off above :) The Red is on the left, Lilac on the right, and Yellow is the one included but not shown. As you can see, they are all lovely short sleeved dresses with corset style bodice and lacy ruffles on the skirt, very romantic! Each is packed separately with Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizing. I am a fan of all three colors in this trio, and am really grateful to have the 'problem' of trying to decide which to wear next.

My final look of this evening is a combo of two Tea Lane treats that are absolutely free for all visitors. The ~TL~ Birthday Cake Cropped Tee has a simply precious image on the front, and from now on I want to insist that all my birthday cakes smile at me like that ;) There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Prima Busty, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies, so it fits plenty of popular brands. Not much to say about my day, as it was quiet but very hot. The air conditioning can't get the house to under 80 degrees during this heatwave, so my much-needed fans are mostly just blowing warm air at me. That isn't the most helpful thing, lol, but I have to convince my body to get used to it since it seems like it's going to be a very long, hot summer. Whew! Still in the MIIX

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got more treats from the MIIX Event, as there were several more group gifts that I was eager to share. This and the previous post combined still aren't all of the available gifts of course, but I'm sure you can get an idea and decide if you would enjoy visiting this wonderful event. Their monthly rounds are open until the 20th of each month, so we do have some time to join their Hype Events group and claim those gifts while we check out some exclusive sales offers.

My first look of the evening is the charming ::by Evie:: GABI Overall FATPACK GIFT. What could be better for summer than a short sleeveless romper? While that is a rhetorical question, I'd say the truthful answer is the fact that this one is free, and can be your choice of several colors :) There is a HUD with 17 lovely hues as a matter of fact, and the outfit is provided in sizing for eBody Reborn, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The seams give me a feeling of denim, but with all the colors it can be anything you prefer if that isn't your favorite material.

Sorry I'm not home right now, I'm walking into spiderwebs...the HORL - Spider Swimsuit gift definitely had me singing to myself so I'm sharing the look and the earworm :) Our swimsuit is black with white cobwebs on it as well as the 8 legged critter who crafted them, and the straps are golden chains to match the fun belt that is built in. It fits Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. As you can see from the rear view, this is designed to be cheeky!

Next we see the Ariana Dress - MIIX Event Gift from May24. This playful jacket dress has cutouts on each side of the waist, with slender strands holding things in place, really accentuating our curves. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. We also receive a HUD with 18 main colors and 4 metals for the buttons down the front. 

We have more sex appeal headed our way with the = Kinky Pinky = Leigh Romper (fatpack) gift. It has a shiny texture of either satin or latex, in 6 terrific colors via HUD. All the colors will have the same pretty black lace trim, and I must say I love how it frames the deep plunging neckline :) The romper is provided in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Kupra Bimbo, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies.

My final look of the evening is a two-for-one gift, the {S&C} Lois Dress (B&G) from Spells & Charms. The brown and green dresses are packaged separately, each in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes. The green one's box is actually labeled lingerie rather than dress, and when you notice the sheer lace and the open sides, it's easy to imagine why :) I don't go many places in SL where this would be acceptable for daily wear (my SL is boring to most, lol) so the lingerie designation suits my mind just fine. Green is one of Xan's favorite colors too, so another reason to chill at home while enjoying this generous treat.

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was chaotic as they tend to be lately, especially with therapy sessions on Sundays. We went for a ride and got to the highway when my brain tried to short-circuit, and the panic was not letting me remember how to help my body calm itself. It took some guidance (that's why the therapist gets paid the big bucks) and reminders of what to do, but I survived it obviously because I am here blogging :) That one specific highway stretch gets me every time, much to my frustration, but in a few days I'll be done weaning off one medication and starting another the next day so maybe it will be more helpful. Then I can practice and get more used to the idea that I was not unsafe and nothing bad happened. What else...my parents came over to drop something off and pick something up, and two of the 3 baby groundhogs out back decided to come out so they could see them :) Little cuties, I enjoy spotting them out there so much. Every year we have a litter (?) born under the shed, where one of them at least 20 years ago built a huge den and tunnel system that new generations have been enjoying ever since. Some years it is only 2 or 3 babies, others it has been up to 8 which was startling and possibly 2 mamas living together down there. I have no idea where they live when they grow up, or how they decide which pregnant female gets to take over the den each year, but it is interesting to see. Shop and Hop Delphinium

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we dive back into the many gifts available at the Holiday Shop & Hop 2023 event, which consists of 16 regions filled with 320 wonderful designers who are all offering their best merchandise at discounted prices to make your shopping a little easier. There are also loads of gifts, and all of tonight's are from the Delphinium region to help you locate them a bit easier :) I hope you've had some time to start your explorations of this massive event, which is open until the first of January. Two of tonight's gifts have Lara X sizes, exciting news for those of us who are trying to build a wardrobe for that gorgeous new body.

My first look of the evening is the charming Blackstone - Crissy Dress gift. This versatile short sleeved knit dress can be worn as a seasonal look with your choice of 5 festive patterns, or the 5 solids on the HUD can bring it back to year-round, although the belt has Santa vibes ;) We get 4 metal choices for that belt buckle too, so even that can be customized. The dress itself fits Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. 

If you need a knockout of a dress for the holidays (or whenever!), be sure to claim our free gift at the [ZEX] display, which is their Missy sexy dress Snow. It might not be easy to tell from a still image, but this dress has a sparkly lighting effect, probably from the beautiful beads. It comes in a generous amount of sizes too - Belleza Gen X Classic, Belleza Gen X Curvy, eBody Reborn, Waifu, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Maitreya Lara X, and Lara X Petite. That's right, a free Lara X goodie and a petite version to boot! How cool is this style, too, with the long sleeve, bare shoulder, single glove, and daring left thigh slit?

Blueberry has a fantastic gift for us too, that is labeled Blessed - Gift Tops but actually contains so much more :) The long sleeved turtleneck top comes in sizing for eBody Reborn, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Lara X Petite, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite bodies, with a HUD that offers 6 textures which are 4 images on winter white and 2 on black. I chose "Winter is Coming" and "Hello Winter" with a tasty looking mug of cocoa, but they are all excellent seasonal picks. The gift also includes the pleated skirt in the same color as some of the tops' HUD options, and it will fit eBody Reborn, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Lara X, and Maitreya mesh bodies. I love the way the waistline dips a little in the front, and the attached belt hangs down a bit lower than the hem.

Next I randomly chose the striking {GH} Winter Sequin Corset Dress gift from Gabrielle Hamelin to share :) The pencil dress is such a flattering shape, in fitmesh standard sizes along with Belleza Venus, eBody Reborn, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body versions, with a 2 texture HUD which is a slight enough difference that I am wearing one on the left above and the other on the right, if you can tell? There's also a heart light included, which I am wearing and is a very subtle light to help bring out the best of the materials.

For my final look of the night, I slipped into the sexy May24 - Lyon Dress - Shop&Hop Xmas Gift :) The dress is provided in Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes, all with a handy HUD offering 8 textures each for the main dress and the sleeves. Those choices are 4 colors in solid or snowy, so we can mix and match to personalize the appearance. The color not shown here is red, so maybe you'd like to go with a red and green mix for this weekend? Of course then you'd need to decide with or without snowflakes for each color...spoiler alert, they're all going to look marvelous!

Hair note of the night: Truth Hair released a new gift for their VIP group ($350L to join) called Smitten, and I am in fact smitten with the style :) I didn't see it in the group notices so we do need to go to the store in person to pick it up I believe, and it has the usual fatpack of colors with each color HUD offering a stylist tab to change the look a bit, and there is an accessories HUD because there are loose bows on each side above the ears that I am hiding here tonight but we can hide/show or tint them as we prefer. I'd have had to recolor them several different times tonight and just decided it was easier to turn them off, even if they are adorable. 

It was a productive day, as a quick chat with my mom cemented a time for helping her cook and working on those crab cakes I'm so eager to provide for Christmas Eve, even if I cannot be there in person. She hasn't heard back from the younger of my 2 cousins, so we are planning as though he and his wife (who was ill and missed Thanksgiving as I did) will be there so there will be enough food regardless. If he shows without his lovely wife, he can bring her lots of leftovers and our love ♥. If neither can make it, maybe his brother will be kind enough to drop off some food for them as a Christmas treat. The crab cake recipe was my grandfather's creation and something I do to honor his memory, and I feel like it brings his spirit to the celebrations even if he is no longer physically present. A voice chat will bring me there in person, lol, per my dad's insistence which I found surprising. I'm still working on little details for the upcoming holidays both RL and SL, oh and I did hear back from the support ticket I submitted for my login failures so that was a pleasant and helpful surprise :) It was your basic script of telling me to reboot the router, send a speedtest screenshot, try their viewer (I did, same issues) and I let them know that my alt can still login so it doesn't make sense to be my PC or ISP. Still, I am reassured that someone is working on it and I know they are required to follow that script. I hope you're all having a beautiful day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Slept On Sales Weekend

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have a limited time opportunity to help Slept On Sales celebrate their birthday round. They are part of Binge Events, so if you join the Binge Events group you can claim a free gift at the participating stores along with shopping the usual $55L - $99L sales offerings. The thing is, it is just a weekend event so the discounts and gifts are only available until Sunday evening. There are just so many amazing designers taking part, and who can resist free gifts? :) I have to say, I spy a lot of pink among these offers/gifts, so I can tell the current box office smash movie is influencing SL fashion and I am here for it ♥. 

I start the evening with one of the sales offers, that of The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. called JAZZ HANDS Tees. There is a trio of images we can choose via HUD, all on a comfy tank top in 5 standard sizes plus eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. The one on the left above says "My brain has too many tabs open", and I can assure you I feel that way most of the time. On the right it reads "There will be DRAMA, and singing and dancing and music and jazz hands..." which also sounds quite familiar. The image not shown says I eat crayons, with the letters of "crayons" in different colors so we must have written it before polishing off our latest waxy snack. I wonder if anyone has ever made edible crayons because of all the jokes about eating them? This sales item is just $80L if you hurry and get there this weekend :)

The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. also has a free group gift for us of course, their sweet SMILEY FACE Tee. As someone who picked up the habit of signing my name on cards, notes, etc. with a smiley face after my name and never quite lost said habit, I strongly approve of this message :) It comes in the same sizes as the first photo's shirts, and says Be Happy beneath the cheerful sketch. I'm wearing the white pair of Delizio jeans from their marketplace fatpack gift in both of these photos, as I tend to do fairly often here.

Our next stop is Enigma Apparel, where that Binge Events group tag (I'm Binge Worthy!) allows us to claim their [EN] Irene Set - Pink gift. The top, sleeves, and shorts are each designed for Legacy/Perky, Maitreya/Petite, and Reborn/Juicy mesh bodies, and can be worn independently for a variety of looks. The top looks great with or without the poofy sleeves, and I really like the matching floral fabric belt on the shorts. 

Our lovely May24 - Mina Dress - SOS Anniversary Gift has a special detail as a nod to the sale it is honoring. Its included HUD has 14 texture choices, 13 of which are solids and the one on the left above is the three colors that are on the Slept On Sales logo. Isn't that clever? The flirty halter dress comes in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. 

My final look this evening comes from a store that is new to me, GigglePuppy. Love the name, and their *GP* Bright Cheetah Romper gift :) This vibrantly hued outfit has one shoulder playfully exposed, and a built in sash belt tied with a pretty bow. There are Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes included in this fantastic gift. I wish I had time to show you even more gifts but they are so time-sensitive that my main goal was to select a few and bring your attention to the sale/gifts if you hadn't already heard about it.

Whew, I am telling myself that at least tonight has bad news and good news...the bad news is the stifling heat that even my ceiling fan doesn't seem to be helping with, but the good news is that the thunderstorms seem to have passed by for now. They were scary there for a few hours, but it looks like I have about 8 hours until they return so I'm enjoying every quiet moment I can :) I'm having trouble sleeping again lately so I fully intend to get as much rest as I can this weekend, and that is pretty much the extent of my plans other than household stuff and sorting SL inventory. I also have a random urge to go hair shopping, probably from frustration with my RL hair, so at least the weekends usually bring nice sales for hair too. Shop and Hop Freesia

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting one of the 4 adult regions that are part of the SL20B Shop & Hop event, called Freesia. Many of the regions have nature/floral names, with a few winter season ones mixed in for fun :) All of the 24 shopping regions have wonderful exclusive offers, discounted sales, and gifts from every vendor. The theme is Our Fantastic Future, but the offers aren't restricted to the theme so you can still find a wide variety. The adult rated regions offer the possibility of more mature items, so you will find a mixture that includes some eye-popping offers ;) I do enjoy the new layout of the areas, and am thrilled to help SL celebrate their 20th birthday.

My first look is the stunning [Witch In A Box] Magic Stars Dress GIFT, a maxi length tank dress in charcoal with golden stars. There are sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies included. The low slung belt is part of the texture, and I really like the way the left side is gathered for a little ruching.

Another don't-miss gift is the V8 Underground treat called **LINDSEY GISTERE BLACK & RED BURLESQUE STYLE COMPLET OUTFIT**. We start with the dress, panties, and boots to fit Kupra, Legacy/Perky, Maitreya/Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, then jazz things up with the top hat, collar, earrings, and bow for corset all with resize scripts built in so we can adjust as needed. There are BOM layers for the gloves and the stockings too, for extra sex appeal.

It has slender straps tied with fun bows, with small puffed drop sleeves that mimic the gathered fabric of the bodice. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies included, with a 3 color HUD so we can even change up the look if we wish. The shade not shown is black, and I can assure you it looks just as pretty in all three options :)

My final look of the evening is another flirty one, the [Glitzz] Kiki Set - Fatpack gift. That lace dress is certainly sheer, and what a deep V neckline! It and the thong are each provided in Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn sizes, with a HUD that offers 25 color choices for each. Since the panties are solid and therefore visible through the lace, we can easily mix and match to create many different looks :) I feel like all sorts of jewelry will work with this gift, from choker to much longer necklace, and your favorite earrings or bracelets too. Sandals, stilettos, or even thigh high boots are all intriguing possibilities for your footwear, just depending on what you have on hand and prefer.

It was a rough weekend, with lots of anxiety and panic attacks that unfortunately kept me at home, with just a minimal improvement tonight so far. I am choosing to focus on SL instead to distract myself when possible, and I have started taking the medication again that I weaned off recently (an antidepressant that can help with anxiety and neuropathy) since my doctor still hasn't gotten back to me about a replacement and being without it could have caused this drastic increase in symptoms. Sometimes RL is frustrating and I am doing my best to get by, but I apologize if my blog ever seems less cheerful than usual. We have a new month which is always exciting in SL, new rounds of events and hunts to tempt us, and I am already scoping out a few for this week :) I hope you've all had a nice weekend and are enjoying your day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Still In The MIIX

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more treats from the MIIX Event's anniversary round, which are free to everyone who is a part of their Hype Events group (free to join). Most of the displays have a gift bag, which are in assorted colors with a few stores offering a pink bag for ladies and a blue for the gents. They aren't all color coded by gender though, so I suggest clicking them all if you are unsure and then sorting through them when you return home :) I was very impressed with the designers' generosity, although not surprised since anniversaries do bring out the best in the SL event community it seems. I was familiar with most of the brands but there were a few who are new to me, so that is always an extra surprise that I appreciate.

The May24 - Ladonna Dress Gift is a delightful look, breezy and romantic. Our dress comes in Freya, Legacy+Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes, with a HUD that offers 12 colors each for the upper, lower, and ties of this versatile dress. The bare shouldered style is a favorite of mine, and I love the way the waist is cinched with a corset type panel that keeps its print of cats so we can change all the colors around to match or contrast it. 

Next I changed into the ::Hanatsumi:: Helena gift, a dress with a bit of a twist. The dress is provided with a separate top piece that covers the right breast, and can be worn with or without that section covered. Each piece will fit Classic, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, and our gift also includes a HUD with 10 textures for each. The top's choices are mainly patterns ranging from bold to subtle, and the dress has beautiful solid colors to select from that coordinate quite well with the top. I was drawn to the single mid-length sleeve that is puffy at the top but fitted on the lower portion, very dramatic as a comparison to the right side.

I think ZFG must have somehow known I have been recently looking for a versatile new lingerie set, as they are providing just that as their MIIX gift! This is their ARIEL LINGERIE, bra and panties as individual BOM layers that can be easily tinted to any color you desire. They default to black, but when you edit them you can click the black button and a menu opens with all RGB colors possible at your fingertips. Both our strapless bra and modest bikini brief panties are trimmed in scallops of lace, and will definitely come in handy for beneath a wide range of fashions.

I was feeling sassy so I put the original black ZFG set back on, and am showing off the lovely #SHOOSH - Blossom Coat [FATPACK] gift with just the lingerie beneath. How soft and touchable does this coat look? Our cropped jacket is slid off both shoulders and open in the front to show off whatever we wear beneath (even if that is just our birthday suit), and comes in sizing for Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Erika, Erika Bubble, Kupra, Kups, Kupra Ups, Legacy, Legacy Nerido, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. Whew, that's a lot! Then we also receive a HUD with 10 intriguing textures in a wide range of colors, mostly quilted like the blue on the right but there are also 2 tiger prints like the pink on the left above.

My final look of the evening is the show-stopping LooKatMe - Dress Dolly gift. This sexy dress features a wonderful sequined pattern on a single shouldered, diagonal hemmed style that just begs to be worn to a club or party for some dancing :) in addition to the sizes for Erika, Kupra, Kups, Kupra Squeezed, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy bodies, there is also a HUD included with a lucky 13 colors of our sequined texture to choose from. We don't even need to wait for a weekend, just add your favorite shoes and celebrate the day.

Things were a bit hectic here, thanks to interrupted sleep, but I am doing okay and very glad to be going to the chiropractor tomorrow afternoon. All this allergy sneezing has thrown my back out, midback ribs area, so a nice adjustment will be a relief. The warmer weather is beautiful, even if it means the pollen makes things a bit rough.
