Kiyomizu Autumn 2022 Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we take a look at some of the prizes from the Kiyomizu Autumn 2022 Hunt, which starts at the Kiyomizu Mall and has us looking for ninja cats. When you find each one, just give it a click to receive your free prize, sounds easy enough...however some of them are hidden in unusual ways like shrunken down, flattened, or inside of another object. I recommend wireframe if you get stuck at a particular store. The mall locations with prizes have the scripted hunt signs that tell you which number stop the store is, and how many cats are hiding (all the ones I recall were just one) which also confirms that they are set up and ready. The ghosts floating above the walkways at the mall will send you to a custom link that shows which ones you have found and what URLs you still need to visit. We have almost 2 weeks left for the hunt, as it wraps up on the 10th of October.

First I slipped into the adorable GARDENIAn's kana prize called Camisole Pink "usa-chan". It is designed to fit Maitreya mesh bodies, and has a sweet pink bunny surrounded by flowers and butterflies on the fabric. I know this is an autumn hunt, but I think I like this for year-round wear depending on what we pair it with :) For example I'm wearing it tonight with the white pair from the fatpack of jeans from Delizio that are free on the marketplace.

Next I changed into the charming M*Motion C22 KYMZ Autumn Gift. This figure hugging dress with bare shoulders fits the Maitreya body. It looks great with the vibrant fall leaves pattern, and sheer wide ruffle on top. Did you notice the zipper in the back? It is an especially nice detail since many SL fashions leave me wondering how we would get in and out of them in RL ;)

If you find the cat at Amikko and pet it (click it), you will receive their Autumn Knitted Dress I'm enjoying above. It comes in 3 classic sizes and 3 fitmesh sizes (S, M, L each) for classic avatars, along with Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. The sleeveless style is balanced by a softly pleated full skirt and an attached black leather belt that matches the pert collar. The colors are ideal for the season too, with the green knit picking up some of the leaves in the skirt.

SHOP KERO is offering this Simple Blouse & Pleated Skirt for everyone who finds their ninja kitty. There are a fitmesh M size as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes for each piece, and a HUD with 10 colors to choose from for each. For my final look of the evening, I am wearing the lovely Autumn Setup from MeltingDots Freebie Store. The top and skirt each come in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies, plus a fitmesh M size for classic avatars. Then there is a HUD provided with 8 seasonal textures to choose from (entire outfit all at once) and 2 shades for the waistband and trim. The HUD also has arrows we can click to adjust the proportions of the texture, in other words make it larger or smaller on the clothing, just click them to try it out and you can click the center circle between the arrows to return it to default. I really recommend grabbing a landmark for this store and passing it on to anyone you encounter who is new to SL, since there are lots of gifts here that are classic avatar-friendly and plenty of non-clothing items that are really fun :)

I had a decent day at home, and I am looking forward to the new month soon because it always means new rounds of hunts and events to explore :) Sometimes I find familiar ones, and other times they are just beginning their SL experience. Things change quite often in SL, but one very consistent thing is that we can always find something to do, somewhere to visit that we haven't been before, or someone to chat with. More Starry Nights at BUNDLES

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features more exclusive offers and gifts we can find at the BUNDLES event and their Starry Nights of Fall round. It is their 7th anniversary so there are even more free or nearly free gifts than usual, and of course we have plenty of selections created especially for this event :) The round is open until the 16th of October, with a theme of autumn with a twist of Halloween. I've noticed that even though many SL residents are from countries where Halloween is not celebrated, lots of folks get into the fun of costumes and spookiness that are staples of the holiday. 

I started the evening with one of the free gifts, the Tastic-Kelly Silk Jumpsuit Pink. This one piece halter outfit is provided in classic M and fitmesh M sizes for classic avatars, as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body versions. I adore the color, and the satiny stripes that highlight it all the way down to the flared legs.

GGVG has a gift waiting at their booth too, called HELEN 10 COLORS SPARKLE. There are Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh body sizes provided, with a 10 color HUD as you probably guessed from the name ;) The silky material of the slip dress looks beautiful in every possible color choice!

We are also visiting Emerald Couture's display tonight, where there are 3 wonderful exclusive offers waiting for us. This is the EC Fausta Outfit v2 Purple, and it is just $50L only at the event. The top and skirt each include fitmesh standard sizes along with Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. The cropped sweater has charming zigzag stripes in several colors, with the skirt picking up one of the darker hues as its solid shade.

Next we see the other 2 varieties of the EC Fausta Outfit v2 that are available for the fantastic price of just $50L. I'm wearing the Blue on the left above, and Burgundy to the right. I had a busy but fun weekend, mostly focused on my grandmother's 96th birthday party. There were a couple of cousins there I'd never met yet, and a few I hadn't seen in decades or only at funerals so hooray for a happy reason :) The 2 cousins and their wives got there rather late, so I stayed longer than expected to spend time with them which was well worth it. The weather is slightly cooling off to feel a tiny bit like autumn, mostly at night, so the leaves are changing colors and it looks lovely outside.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we are back at BoA DeSiGN to see more group gifts and lucky board prizes. The group is currently free to join (possibly for their anniversary) and the group tag allows us access to both plus the midnight mania board. I am really enjoying their style and think these new looks are ideal for the upcoming weekend :)

For my first look this evening I am wearing their BoA DeSiGN Polly group gift. This outfit includes the cardigan and pants to fit Maitreya mesh bodies, as well as a HUD that offers 7 colors for each. The cardigan has a lighter panel that almost looks like a scarf, and the open front could reveal your favorite shirt or bra beneath if you wish to do some layering. 

Another wonderful group gift is the BoA DeSiGN B&W Overalls full Outfit. The strapless shorts romper is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with solid black heels that fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high feet. BoA DeSiGN Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I get to show all of you some treats from BoA DeSiGN, whose group is currently free to join and that tag entitles you to about a dozen group gifts as well as the chance to win lots of lucky board prizes. There is also a midnight mania board for group members, so there are plenty of advantages to being in their group :) There are balloons and a Happy Anniversary sign up in the landing area so there is a chance that the free group is a limited offer for their anniversary in SL. If you are a member of multi-designer groups (like FabFree, SLFO, etc.) there are several gifts available for many of them so I suggest taking a peek through your groups and at the group gift wall.

My first look is the BoA DeSiGN Belted Dress Gift, which in addition to the bold black belt features matching pockets! There are sizes for Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, with a 6 texture HUD to change the look whenever we wish. This is a great style for any time of year, but I am thinking it has lots of autumnal appeal :)

I also eagerly claimed the BoA DeSiGN Mandala Dress Gift, another terrific group gift that is ours for free. It has one shoulder slipped off to the side, with contrasting color sleeves and a pretty mandala on the bodice. The dress comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, with a 3 texture HUD for added variety. The one not shown is a black and white beauty, so all three options are stunning. 

Next we see the playful BoA DeSiGN LazyDay outfit. This group gift includes the pullover and leg warmers each in a Maitreya size, as well as a BOM pair of black panties. There are HUDs too, with 6 colors on the dress HUD and 8 choices for the leg warmers. The bare shoulders are balanced by the long sleeves and cozy neckline, and the feet of the extended leg warmers fit best with mid height feet.

This lovely look is the group gift called *BoA* Long Red Dress. It has a halter neck and slits in the front and back of the bodice. There is also a built in belt and lots of luscious lace, with a train in the back for beautiful movement. Our gift fits Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. 

My final look of the evening is one of many lucky board prizes available to group members, their BoA DeSiGN Basic Coctail Dress. The pale pink roses look exceptional against the black background, and I think this is another year-round winner.

It was a quiet sort of day, and I've got more plans sorted for the party Saturday like I will be bringing a veggie tray with hummus as the 'snack food' they vaguely requested. Mid-Season Mystery Fair

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we head to the Harambee Mid-Season Mystery Fair, which features sales offers for charity as well as a $3L hunt for fairies and some free gifts for all visitors. There is a nice variety among the offers and gifts, so you should be able to find something for your wardrobe or your home and garden. I also did some hair shopping for a different good cause, so my entire looks this evening have me feeling positive :)

First I tried on the [C.Y<3FASHION]*AGATA" DRESS GIFT, which is a trio of leather dresses with a different color for the top and skirt. I'm wearing the beige & pink on the left, with black & yellow on the right, and the one not shown is brown & black. Each color combo is provided in eBody, Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh body sizes, flattering in any version :)

I Love Lida has two free gifts waiting for us, one of which is the alluring ILL Diletta dress. There are black and white versions (packed separately) each in sizing for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. They both have a built in belt on the front that is laced like a mini corset, and the deep plunging neckline is a very sexy touch.

Bikinis can be useful year round in SL, like this playful ILL Monica bikini which is our other gift from I Love Lida. There are 4 color versions (blue, blue border, red, and red border) that each fit Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. We also receive a pair of white pasties as a BOM layer, without which our nipples would be peeking through the slender straps of the bra portion. 

I also found a generous free gift at the Emerald Couture display, their EC Raine Dress Gray. This bodycon mini dress is trimmed with scalloped lace at the hem, and decorated with a built in belt just beneath the breasts. It is provided in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Sapphira, and TMP mesh body versions. 

My final look of the evening is the free gift from *ASIA* Fashion called SHARON. This outfit consists of the top and shorts each in eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and TMP sizing, then continues with the shoes to fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high feet. The tied mesh headband is unrigged as I was able to adjust it quite easily, and I am really enjoying the all-black look with different textures and fabrics. The back view of the cross-laced top is just as pretty as the lacy inset of the front, and those shorts are extra brief while covering the essentials ;) I might pair the top with a long skirt at some point just for fun and variety, and the shorts will go well with BOM layer tank tops and even bikini tops. 

Hair note of the night: Doe is having a special sale to help the designer pay for an emergency RL relocation (the housing market is really cutthroat in some areas like hers) and so naturally I did some shopping :) The sidewalk and street are lined with fantastic hairstyles that can be purchased as fatpacks or (here is where I saved lots of $ lindens) special fun packs for $75L each. As always I recommend trying on demos to see what the different fun pack's HUDs are like on the style you're interested in. I would say a few surprised me in a good way, and I am very pleased with my purchases that include the Flux version of Breathe that I'm wearing tonight. It has optional flowers that I chose to hide, although they cascade beautifully down the spiraling ponytail that curls down our back. We get to help a designer afford her new RL home and enjoy savings on gorgeous hair, so that's a win-win!

Kiyomizu Autumn Treats

Hiya everyone! Tonight we will explore more of the Kiyomizu Autumn 2018 Hunt, since there are so many wonderful prizes hiding with the ninja cats. As I mentioned in my last couple of posts, your best bet is to explore the Kiyomizu Mall stores for their kitties (the signs are at each participating store) and then click one of the ghosts floating above the walkways outside of the stores. That will bring you to a personalized website showing all the ninja cats' locations and which you still need to find. It is very helpful and I appreciate it. The hunt lasts until the 8th of October, so you have plenty of time to find all the kitties.

My first look is the Jury PoP prize called Bat Pattern Romper, a delightful find for the upcoming season. It comes in fitmesh classic sizes XS and M, as well as Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. I really enjoy the contrasting trim and the cute little bats in two colors.

Next we have the prize from [BMS] called KanzenRikai TShirt, a comfy sleeveless top in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, and Maitreya. It says "blender" on the front, and I am not sure what the text beneath it says, but I believe blender is the software program that designers use to create mesh items for SL. The jeans I'm wearing with it are my favorite marketplace gift from Delizio, which includes several colors in system layers and appliers for Omega and Maitreya.

Magnolia has a sweet present for us too, a strapless dress with scalloped hem and pretty polka dot pattern. It is provided in a single mesh size, there is a Slink Physique logo on the enclosed image but it fits my Maitreya body pretty well. Just find the hidden ninja cat to claim your copy.

Speaking of Maitreya, I switched into my Maitreya hands to show you a couple of sets of nails that are designed specifically for them. This is the prize from Midoriya called Aki Nail Maitreya, and is a beautiful set with a different design for each nail. They are very detailed, aren't they?

My final look of the night is another manicure for our Maitreya nails, the prize from KoCha called Nail 5 orange. They are dusted with autumn leaves and the orange has a delicate ombre with darker base and lighter tips. These will complement so many fall fashions, or look striking against a simple black outfit.

It has been a pretty rough day here, both personally and in my small town, so I am afraid I am not at my best and probably sound less cheery than normal. I do apologize if that's the case. Two elderly people were killed at a retirement home by their son, and since he is still on the loose they had to close some nearby roads and tell us to lock our doors and stay inside. I don't feel unsafe, just sad for everyone involved. In other news, I had already planned to take an evening off tomorrow from blogging due to an appointment that will leave me a bit groggy and uncomfortable. I will be back soon though, no worries. More Kiyomizu Prizes

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am pleased to show you a few more prizes from the Kiyomizu Autumn 2018 Hunt. Just head to the Kiyomizu Mall and find all the ninja cats hiding there that you can, then click a floating ghost (look above the sidewalks outside the stores) to take you to a website that tells you where you have found cats and where to still look. Thanks to the wonderful scripting of this hunt, the URLs on that site are directly to the signs, which keep track of the kitties and let you know if it is there or not. With traditional hunts, I admit I have spent time searching in a store that wound up not being ready and so I was looking for something that didn't exist, so it is reassuring that the scripting keeps this hunt completely accurate. Remember, these kitties like to shrink or flatten themselves and hide in walls, so you need to be on your toes! You will also notice that I have new hair, which is a gacha prize from Doe found at The Arcade this month. 

With my new hair and this new dress, I am giving off modern Marilyn Monroe vibes in this look! The dress is our prize from [satus Inc] called [S] Elise Sidecut Strapless Dress Pink, and it comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. The slit on the left side is daringly high, while the color feels very romantic to me.

Hapi*Rabi is offering their Grace dress as their hunt prize, in vibrant orange with creamy lace trim and matching buttons on the sleeves. It is provided in 3 classic sizes (S, M, L) as well as Freya, Venus, and Maitreya versions, so there is a good chance that one of these will suit your shape and body. 

You can hold onto your favorite summer fruit throughout autumn with the prize from Frangipani Garden, their Watermelon Tunic & Leggings. It is a single mesh piece in a Maitreya size, but could possibly fit other bodies if you give it a try. I love the rich coloring, the cute seeds dotting the top, and the just-right green trim. The capris have the cutest ruffles on the hem of each pant, a really fun touch for sure.

Next we have a dramatically different look from SHOP KERO, in their prize named Combat Suit. This versatile outfit includes the jacket and pants each in three classic sizes (S,M,L) along with Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions, plus the boots in sizes for classic, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink flat. The versatility comes in with the included HUD, offering 16 colors of the camo print you see here for the clothing, 8 colors for the boots and belts, and 5 choices for the trim and soles. I recommend just playing with the HUD to see the various options and decide what you like best.

My final look of the night can be found by clicking the kitty at MeltingDots Freebie Store, called Autumn Knitted Dress. It comes in plenty of mesh sizes: 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. There is also a HUD included that offers 10 different colors to choose from, two of which can be seen above. By the way, if you are relatively new to SL or meet someone who is, this is a terrific place to visit and pick up a multitude of free gifts. I personally have the landmark in a special folder so I can hand it out to new residents whose inventories are pretty bare.

Hair note of the night: I was at The Arcade and couldn't resist picking up the free demo of the Doe Londra style, one of two they have there for $75L per play, and wound up being so taken with it that I went back and played a few times ;) I meant to play once, but does that ever work when indulging in gachas? LOL! So my favorite of the ones I won is the Blondes, worn tonight, which is a two tone so I can change the top portion (with braid) separate from the rest. There is also wisps that can be turned off/on and I have them off, plus cute stars scattered on the braid that can be on or (as I am wearing now) off, and there are color choices for those. There is a handy resize feature on the color HUD too, so I suggest trying that on the demo too if you're interested. The other style is a longer one, but I like to have short styles that don't hide my clothing for blogging so you can see as much of the clothes as possible.

It was a quiet day here, still waiting for the not-very-handy handyman to install the new over the range microwave and trying not to be overly impatient about it. He was supposed to do something to this house (not critical) literally 18 years ago and never did, just to give you an idea of why I get annoyed with him. Tuesday Variety

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a variety of items to share from hunts, group gifts, event gifts, and even a marketplace freebie. The hunt prizes are from a $1L gridwide hunt called Cute & Curvy 2 Hunt, and I must say they have a terrific array of prizes from so many talented designers, it was hard to narrow it down to just a few to share today. The hunt object is a small lollipop, pinkish red (possibly just red but, well, windlight settings vary) and easy to hide in unusual places so I strongly suggest following those hints from their website. The event I mentioned is called AVANGARDE and many of the designers have gifts for free or a few lindens at their displays. It is their very first round, so it was exciting to see what was offered and I will be intrigued to see it grow over time.

My first look is the fantastic hunt prize from Sevyn East, their Pink Me dress for C&CH2. It is provided in fitmesh sizes for classic avatar, Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, eBODY, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique. Also there is a HUD with 4 different textures for the dress, two of which you can see above. The white belt with pretty bow is built in and remains white as a lovely contrast to all the textures.

Another fantastic hunt prize for just $1L can be found at Get Frocked, their Cute & Curvy Dress in 10 fitmesh sizes including standard, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP. Both the style and the colors really caught my eye, classic yet modern.

My jeans here are another $1L hunt prize, this time from Firelight Creations called {FC} Nixie Denim Set. This generous gift includes 6 different styles (capris, cut off shorts, jeans, shorts, worn jeans, and torn jeans) in system layers along with appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. This is a great find that will definitely be a go-to staple in my wardrobe. My comfy sweatshirt is found at the AVANGARDE event I mentioned earlier, but is actually a group gift for ShopaholicSL. The Christmas Gift Hoodie Pullover comes in plenty of fitmesh sizes including standard, Belleza, Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, TMP large and TMP small. The ShopaholicSL group is free to join, with a sign right above the gift that will display the join link in local chat when you give it a tickle. The pink and blue colors are one of those fun coincidences that I was simply lucky enough to find a lot of today, after choosing those shades for my hair, but I didn't even seek out the colors. Perhaps they sought me out instead.

Still at the Avangarde event, these two dresses are part of the generous gift from ATTITUDE, which consists of a few textures, vases, candles, and the single fitmesh Sweet Desires dress on the left, plus two copies of Ava Fitmesh Party Dress on the right which are both labeled size small so I am not sure what the difference is. I really like both dresses, and as you can see they each fit my Slink Physique body with no problems at all.

Time to get serious for a moment...I chose my nails for tonight not because they match so many of my outfits (although they do) but in memory of someone I have known since childhood who passed away from breast cancer very recently. She fought bravely for several years, and in addition to her loving husband she leaves behind 3 children and a large extended family who adored her. Marie was one of those people who was always described as sweet and kind, and I genuinely never heard a bad word against her in the decades I knew her. Cancer sucks, and I am deeply saddened by this and every loss. My nails are from Nail Me! and can be found for free on the marketplace, along with a few other awareness designs in their marketplace store so please check those out if you wish to honor someone. This set includes HUDs for Slink and Omega nails.

Clearly my day was not an easy one, but I appreciate the distraction of being focused on SL and blogging. Immersing oneself into a pleasant hobby is far healthier than brooding or worrying over things we cannot change. I hope you are all having a good week so far, magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
