FabFree Back To Cool

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features some terrific hunt prizes from the annual FabFree Back To Cool Hunt, designed to help us have the perfect wardrobes for this time of year. You don't actually have to be attending any sort of school (RL or SL) to appreciate these treats of course, just have an eye for fashion and the ability to enjoy checking out various stores looking for rainbows. They are $0L - $5L so very affordable, and I've enjoyed the prior rounds of this hunt too so it was no surprise that I found plenty of prizes that tickled my fancy :) I know I mentioned fashion but there are also prizes of home decor and lots of accessories to add to the clothing to bring an outfit together, so be sure to peek at all the prize images on the website where you'll also find the landmarks and prices. This just might be a great idea to plan for part of your weekend :)

My first look has two prizes that are perfectly suited to each other, and for your next Potions class. The Adora-tions - Potions Princess Seren Crop and their Seren Skirt are just $1L each, along with a few other related goodies you'll see on the sign and the hunt site. The crop top says "Potions Princess" above a crown, cauldron, potions vial, and spellbook, and is provided in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. Our striped skirt will fit Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, and I love how its lighter color really picks up the hue of the design on the knotted top's front. 

I also couldn't wait to show you this $5L goodie, the [Ari-Pari] Kelcie Outfit. Its blouse and pleated skirt are classic separates in sizing for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There's also a HUD enclosed, with 5 colors for each piece so we get to mix and match. I've done both here, lol, as I cannot resist the temptation to try out all the pretty colored buttons and see what catches my eye. The plaid skirt had me musing that unlike many Catholic school survivors I don't cringe at the sight of plaid, but that could be because my last 4 years of school involved a solid blue jumper over a light blue blouse, instead of the plaid jumper of my first 8 years. Time also makes a difference, and it's been decades :)

These tops both spoke to me immediately, and I'm hoping they can brighten your weekend too. The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. BETTER IN PAJAMAS Tee is the oh-so-true cutie on the left, with "Life is better in Pajamas" across the front accented by stars and a crescent moon. The goal-worthy The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. BEST DAY EVER Tee is a wish for the weekend, a cheery sun above "This is the best day ever!" in a pop of orange that also gives fall vibes. Next we pop over to Tea Lane, where one of their five $5L prizes is the precious ~TL~ School Days Diem Dress I am sporting here. The school students on the pattern are extra cute, and the style is dreamy with its turtleneck and puffy sleeves to keep us warm. We receive Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes, plus BOM panties to wear beneath. That's a pretty good lesson for SL, lol, wear panties or some "upskirt Kurt" might go camming and realize you forgot. Yes, that is the voice of experience, and it's probably been a decade or more but I've never forgotten that lesson. 

My final look of the evening is a free prize from GoodVibes which is simply named Back to Cool. Its plaid shirt says "I paused my game for this" with a cute bespectacled raccoon taking a reading break. It can serve as a long tunic or a short dress, in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star bodies. We even receive the BOM pink lace modesty panty that reminds me of the lace-edged biker shorts I wore many moons ago ;) You can always swap those out for jeans or longer leggings if you prefer, as the weather should be getting cooler one of these days.

I'm facing a little bit of uncertainty about my weekend, as the housemate's car was in for repairs all day and then leaked when it was parked at my parents' during dinner. So back it must go, and it is hard to say what will happen. The plan is for me to go to the farmers market though if possible, which was harder than anticipated last week so I've got some serious anxiety happening right now. Part of me wants to go, and the other part is too nervous. I get how weird this sounds to anyone who's never dealt with agoraphobia, or even just anxiety about being in a car, but I'm pretty open about this being my reality. The panic attacks last week were upsetting, yet I got through them and am here to tell the tale :) I still have the sun rash from it though, so my main priority is sunscreen! I've had that happen before, thanks to being on thyroid medication, so I should really be more careful. Brand new, non-expired sunscreen has been obtained though and I'm all set. Happy Birthday Kawaii Secrets

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post comes from the 2nd anniversary of the Kawaii Secrets event, with gifts galore waiting for us in adorable teddy bear boxes. All you have to do is join their free group, and give all those boxes a little click :) The birthday round runs until the 24th, and based on many of the gifts I think the theme is "yandere" which is an anime archetype of obsessive love that can turn dangerous. You'll see a fair amount of blood and weaponry among the sales offers and gifts, so please consider that your content warning for visiting if that is a problem. As for my post, no weapons but one shirt does have a blood-splattered version.

My first look of the evening is our .::Dlirium::. Outfit Suelen Black gift. The top and skirt are each gathered on both sides and tied with loose bows. We receive sizes for Erika, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies in this terrific gift.

I kept the skirt on here, but swapped tops to the Amini - Lily Top [Pink] which is another generous gift at the event :) There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies included. I usually try to point out a detail or two that catch my eye, but I love it all here from the pretty pink shade to the heart shaped clasp in the center, and the softly ruffled edges of the fluttery hem. 

Next I created a new look by simply adding our BaoBao ~ Leather Jacket Gift. It is cropped just right, trimmed in studs and skulls, and the back has a yandere character embossed on it. This fun treat will fit eBody OG, eBody Waifu, Legacy, and Perky mesh bodies. We can easily wear this over all sorts of outfits, jeans and tanks or a flirty tee and your favorite shorts.

Our Adora-tions - Senpai Noticed Me Tied Crop gift is a formfitting short sleeved tee with a playful knot in the front, beneath the "Senpai Noticed Me!" image of an anime girl celebrating her accomplishment. I am concerned about her other recent activities however, thanks to the bloody versions of each size in addition to the default clean one ;) Both come in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu sizing, so you can decide which mood you may be in. No avatars were harmed in the making of these photos, lol. 

For my final look tonight, I am tickled pink to show you a closeup view of the Minami :: Princess Press On Nails gift ;) This mesh manicure is easy to wear, just use your body's HUD to hide the built in nails and add the appropriate size - Legacy and Reborn versions are provided. Each nail has been individually decorated with hearts, moons, bows, and stars just to name a few of the 3D charms you'll see. I think they are almond shaped, so not quite sharp enough to be a weapon unless you are one hyper-determined yandere.

My day was okay, lots of anxiety about tomorrow's dental work but that is expected. When the dentist explained what needed to be done (retreat of prior root canal and crown) he asked me if I trust him to do it, and I was able to honestly say yes because he'd done the implants I have for my bottom left molars and this is much less intense. That was at least 15 years ago, and despite all my fears I do believe I am in good hands. His staff is excellent too, and very experienced with fearful patients like myself. Hot Ghoul Summer

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got a fun hunt to share prizes from, the Hot Ghoul Summer hunt which is goth/alternative themed and several stores are taking part. However I was unable to locate a website or list of stores anywhere, so I was thrilled to find out that Adora-tions has several free prizes hidden :) We are looking for tiny light purple bats, 7 flat images that are tucked into some creative spots. The prizes are so on-point for the theme, think Wednesday Addams or Lydia Deetz (Beetlejuice) having a hot girl summer. Yes, that concept made me giggle, but it is accurate as you'll see. There are 4 swimsuits, a shirt, and two beverages among our free prizes.

My first look is our Adora-tions - Crosses Rissa Bikini prize, one of two varieties of this same flirty style. Its top and bottom are separates that each fit Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with white crosses on a black background. The bottoms are a G-string type thong, very revealing and flirty :)

For more coverage but equally thematic and appealing, we have the Adora-tions - Black Polka Dot Swimsuit. This prize is provided in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The square neckline and halter strap are great details, and polka dots always remind me of a friend who had quite a phase when we were teenagers of wearing loads and loads of dots in all shapes and colors :) Did you notice I have a drink here too? That is one of the cups I mentioned, the Adora-tions - Witches Potion Drink Cup. It has a nice Bento hold pose built in, and the design on it tells you what beverage is inside, although that is still a broad category...it could be just about any magical elixir! I'd like to think mine is a calming potion, since that is what I'd need most in RL these days.

The Adora-tions - Bats Rissa Bikini hunt prize is a different texture of the first bikini gift I shared above, this one featuring the winged creatures that people tend to either love or hate ;) Associated with Halloween, vampires, and nighttime, they are shown in white on this black background so they are easy to spot. The top and bottom are provided in the same sizes as the Crosses version. In case you were curious, I don't hate bats by any means, but love may be a bit strong...I get startled when I encounter one flying suddenly in the evenings outside here, but I would never hurt one or try to get rid of them. I'm good with most animals, even if some I prefer to keep my distance.

I kept the bikini bottom on but switched tops to our Adora-tions - Goth Ghoul Summer Tied Crop prize for this look :) The bold color is sure to turn heads, then the image on the front will keep all eyes on you while people read the Goth Ghoul Summer above and below the mermaid with Day of the Dead sugar skull makeup. She's sporting a pretty flower in her hair, and drinking a rainbow hued beverage from a martini glass, so cheers to her! My final look of the evening is the delightful Adora-tions - Black & White Stripe Swimsuit which is a variation of the one I shared in photo #2. You know this pattern is making you think of Beetlejuice, and now that I've typed it a second time in this post I absolutely cannot say it again ;) It is provided in the same sizes as the polka dotted one, and these stripes are fantastic for drawing the eye to your beautiful face and your figure whether slim or curvy. 

I had a productive day off from blogging yesterday, with an adventure of an outing that I'm putting in the "technically a success" category ;) I went to an indoor Amish farmers market that I used to really enjoy visiting, but it is further than I've been okay with lately so my high anxiety almost made me bail less than a block away from the place. It was SO crowded, which had me spiraling because crowds are an issue as well. We went to a few of the vendors inside, and I was standing alone with the cart waiting (about to lose it) when I saw a woman with a stroller that turned out to be holding not a baby but a cute dog ♥. Focusing on them for a moment actually helped me briefly. I would summarize by saying I am glad I made it there but I wasn't able to actually enjoy the visit or get everything I'd wanted, but I got a few things and this may help my confidence in the future. I'm already starting to worry about a dental appointment in 2 weeks, so I need to reassure myself as much as possible. Goldenrod Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm sharing some gifts from one of the 4 adult regions, Goldenrod, at the SL22B Shop & Hop event. That does not automatically mean all the sales offers or gifts are adult in nature, but the designers do have that option so some are definitely for mature audiences only ;) I am not trying to dissuade you from visiting by any means, nor being judgmental about it...my goal is simply to ensure that if you would be offended by seeing full frontal nudity or sex toys, you are aware before you teleport so you can decide for yourself. Personally I'm old enough to remember the days of catalogs promising to ship certain purchases in a plain brown wrapper to be discreet, lol, and the Frederick's of Hollywood catalogs I got delivered used to make my mom look like she needed a fainting couch. If you are feeling frisky, you've got just a few days left to visit as the SL22B celebrations end on the 20th.

V8 Underground is generously offering 2 gifts, starting with their **MAIRARA WALSH GRUNGE STYLE COMPLETE OUTFIT** seen here :) The top, jacket, shorts, and boots will each fit Legacy, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, and we also receive the BOM tattoo layer, necklace, earrings, bracelets, and sunglasses seen here. Their accessories are just about always adjustable with resize scripts enclosed as these are, and I love having the options of wearing everything at once or just the pieces I am in the mood for at the moment.

Next I changed into their **DEIRDRE O PUNK ROCK STYLE COMPLETE OUTFIT** for another showstopper of a look :) Its bra, top, pants, and sandals are each included in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. As for accessories, we've got a pair of sunglasses, bracelets for each wrist, earrings, and collar (all adjustable) as well as a BOM layer with tattoos for the chest, arms, and lower back. The bra can be worn with or without the sheer latex top over it, and the pants are covered with studs and zippers to really bring home the punk feeling.

Here I kept on the punk pants to show off a couple of great shirts I picked up with store credit. The Adora-tions - My Secrets Elodie Crop is the beauty on the left, with a crescent moon adorned with crystals and surrounded by the words "The moon knows all my secrets". It comes in sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Perky Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, for $200L which I got for free with the $500L store credit I picked up as our gift :) That obviously left some credit to play with, hence the fun choice of Adora-tions - Ocean Child Tied Tee on the right which is also $200L of credit. This style and design also spoke to me, as a tropical scene saying "Stay Wild Ocean Child" that made me think of vacations long ago :) Our tied crop top is provided in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Natural, Natural Jelly Belly, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing. I think these were each $185L if you paid for them with lindens rather than credit, as they were at the Shop&Hop display and therefore reduced price. That just means if I go back and run out of credit to get other shirts, lol, I'll still be relatively kind to my linden bank account ;)

The most adult of my photos this evening is the gorgeous :::WATERMELON:::LINGERIE:::MIRANDA CORSET, a gift that includes 3 BOM layers and a separate thong-only layer. One has a shorter corset, one has the corset alone, and the one I'm sporting here has the full length corset and thong together. In my head I'm calling this color rose gold, but blush would work too :) The texturing is exquisite!

My final look of the evening comes from GoodVibes, who have two gifts including the Beach Me Womens Set bikini. The other is a men's beach look, so you and your favorite hunky dude can coordinate at the beach if you wish :) Our top and bottom both fit Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies. I found the aquatic blue shades delightful, and the geometric pattern looks like a maze that we can easily get lost in while lounging in the sun or the water.

It was a busy day with a grocery trip that was rather anxiety-inducing, as my companion was being a royal pain. Otherwise I'm doing okay, trying to plan for Thursday's outing which will prevent me from blogging that evening. My life is mostly dull until it's not, lol, then it goes wild! Adora-tions Group Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post comes from the Adora-tions store, whose group is currently free to join and there are new gifts daily this month. I would like to mention that this is an adult themed store, described on a landmark as a kink-positive clothing, tattoo, and accessories store. Even among the gifts, there are a few with wording that might be a bit much for some (Daddy's f*cktoy is on a pair of earrings for example) so I wanted to make that clear before inviting you here :) This is not me shaming them by any means, just trying to protect anyone who might be bothered by it. I carefully chose the gifts I'm sharing tonight to be on the milder side yet still representative of their style, so these are not specifically kink-themed. I chose things I love that felt meaningful to me :)

Berries are so tasty for summer, aren't they? The heart shaped cutout on the shirt caught my eye too, so cute! It's a much more vibrant hot pink, and I wonder if brat magic is a reference to brat summer :) The fine print right beneath the lid says "Magically Bratilicious" which made me giggle, and the eyes below it are amazingly drawn to captivate.

Next I paired up two more gifts, starting with the Adora-tions - Earth Matters Tee. It is cut short enough to show some underboob, with a lovely sky blue fabric adorned with "Earth Matters, Save the Planet" written on and beneath a gorgeous sky, tree, and ocean image. You can wear this important message in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Kups A, Kups B, Legacy, Legacy Petite, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. The playful Adora-tions - Pride Helen Shorts are provided in sizing for Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. They've got a zipper in the front, bright red waistband, and rainbow hearts to really bring home the Pride month theme :) I appreciate that they are flirty but not too short to wear to most venues, like I don't feel like half my buttcheeks are peeking out.

With a full rainbow of colors, those shorts are versatile enough to help me show off another shirt too - our Adora-tions - Magical Girl U Bella Tee group gift. This pretty purple tee has pink ink on the front that says Magical Girl University, est. 20XX, with a familiar outline on the front that reminds me of Sailor Moon :) This gift includes Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Petite, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies. The fit is flattering, showing a peek of cleavage and slightly lifted on the left side. Cap sleeves are always so nice for the warm weather too.

Another summertime staple is swimwear, like this stunning Adora-tions - Proudheart Rissa Bikini gift. The top and bottom are separates and will both fit Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The tiny rainbow stripes are actually itty bitty hearts, appropriate for Pride month or any time you are headed to a beach or pool. The bikini also gave me a fun chance to share the Adora-tions - Refuse To Sink Thigh Tattoo gift, a wonderful linework tattoo of an anchor with a lily inside, that has "Refuse to Sink" beneath it. There are BOM layers in 50%, 75%, 100%, new, and tintable versions, so you can choose your opacity or even edit to change the color :) I'm wearing the 75% here and it is quite vivid, so I think it photographed clearly enough that I didn't even need the full 100% to take pictures. Over the past couple of years, I have felt like I was sinking into depression and from the agoraphobia, but I'm still here and still trying to fight it so this tattoo means the world to me.

My final look of the evening is our Adora-tions - Pink Grid Debbie Dress group gift. It immediately caught my eye with its plunging neckline, beautiful color, and fun geometric pattern. I think I want to wear silver jewelry with it to accentuate the stripes of the pattern, maybe with pink gems...the possibilities are truly endless though!

Before my outing yesterday, the housemate pointed out a weird leak from my side of the car, and today it got worse so he took it to be checked out. It turned out to be coolant and something else (?), then naturally they found a few other problems, so he borrowed my parents' minivan for now. Good thing they trust him, eh? They ordered parts and will either have it ready Friday or Monday, so outings for the rest of the week might be a challenge. There is no good time for these things to happen, so I am just grateful it can be fixed relatively quickly. The minivan is the spare car that my mom drives on Sundays to church, LOL, which sounds like a used car sales pitch ;) The gas mileage isn't great and their other car is a hybrid, so you can see why they prefer the little one for when my dad is driving which is 98% of the time.
