Today was nothing unusual, but I am looking forward to my usual Friday evening dinner with my parents and then a Saturday outing that I am hoping will not be in the sweltering heat of last weekend. So far it looks like it will be very warm but not excessive, if that makes sense. Having a wonky thyroid apparently makes one very sensitive to extreme temperatures, and we still haven't figured out how to convince my thyroid to work correctly. Tonight I have a couple more treats from the Boho Culture Fair to show you, which as I have mentioned is open until the 11th of November so you still have a little over a week remaining to visit and pick up some beautiful Bohemian fashions, gachas, and gifts. I am feeling brunette today for some reason, so I am glad the Truth VIP group gifts include the full fatpack of colors so I could easily switch on a whim. I've been brunette in RL as well as blonde, auburn, and many shades between, so I figured why not? My playful top here is a gift found at The Boho Culture Fair from Gypsy Chic, their GC Fall Flower Top Beige. My fun jewelry is a free gift at the fair from V-Twins, which includes two sets of which I am wearing the silver necklace and earrings. They have bright orange accents that pick up the similar colors in the floral pattern of the blouse nicely, and the other set is gold with purple. My jeans are the cream color of the Delizio marketplace freebie I've mentioned numerous times before, which come in several colors with system layers and appliers for Omega and Maitreya.
One feature of Bohemian style that has always appealed to me is whimsy, probably brought about by the artistic nature of it all. This free gift from Graffitiwear is a perfect example, it's called Bohemian Face Paint and comes in a system layer along with appliers for Catwa and Omega. The bright colors on each cheek are sure to bring a smile to your freshly decorated face, and it calls to mind images of countless music festivals from Woodstock to current times.

Tonight I am showing you some more Free Dove mini hunt prizes from Gypsy Chic, the outfit being a reminder of the lovelies at Free Dove and all the shoes being found hidden in roses at the Gypsy Chic mainstore. As general advice, I find that when I visit a store to find hidden hunt objects I will try to think where I would hide something, and that led me to peek behind things. If you saw yesterday's post, you should recognize my outfit, but to review I am wearing a top and jeans found hidden at Free Dove. The top is the GC Pink Crop Tank Top, in fitmesh standard sizes and Belleza, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique versions. The jeans are their GC Skinny Jeans Blue, which are included in 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique sizing. Our new addition to this look is the shoes, found at Gypsy Chic mainstore in a red rose and named GC Dot Pink High Shoes. Despite the name, these actually fit my Mid height Slink feet, rather than the high, so the name might just be referring to them as high heeled rather than flat sandals. The wedge heel is a classic look, and the colors are deeper but the same color family as the shirt, so very complementary and a nice touch.
Let's pan the camera downward a bit, to get a good look at this prize called GC Flower Slink Peeptoe Shoes High. These are tucked into a white rose numbered #7, and actually fit my Slink Mid feet. They are richly textured in a beautiful floral pattern from tip to stiletto heel, and so shiny! You can leave your toenails bare as I did or choose a nice polish to match any of the colors in the shoes, whatever suits your mood, and they will look pretty as a picture.
If you are looking for something to make your look sparkle, find the red rose #10 and you can claim these GC Glitter Silver Wedge TMP & Slink. They do include versions to fit TMP and Slink High, and as you can see there is a sturdy platform base to this shoe that keeps it from being overly dainty. The bold buckle is a fun touch too, and of course the texture will catch the eye no matter what you wear these with.
I did promise you some makeup fun, so for my last look of the evening you get to see this beautiful creation from LIVIA, their newest group gift called Autumn Queen Face Art. It includes Catwa, Lelutka, Omega, and system avatar versions, and as you can see there are two different versions. On the left we have #1 with feathery wings, and on the right version 2 has a lovely design between the brows, rather like a bindi. It was another really warm day here, easily 15 degrees (F) higher than the average for this time of year, and I find myself looking forward to some cooler temperatures if they ever arrive. Not ice cold, just mild enough not to feel sweaty every time you leave the house. I'd like to put some long sleeves back into my wardrobe rotation :) Oktoberfest was a delicious success, and I picked up plenty of other foods to enjoy throughout the coming week. As someone who has always loved the movie Grease, I was delighted with this next gift from leaf #2 at Free Dove. The ladies' prize is the EC Pink Ladies Jacket, in standard mesh sizes plus Hourglass and Physique versions, in a soft rosy shade with cropped motorcycle jacket styling and Pink Ladies splashed across the back. Aloha everyone! :) There were so many gifts available at the Aloha Fair 2017 that I needed a second post to show you more of my favorites. You have over a week left to visit the event, a beautiful sim with displays (tiki hut style) from a wide range of designers from all across the grid, offering exclusives and gachas and yes, gifts inside beach balls for $1L each or occasionally free. I greatly enjoyed my visit, and may even return for a bit more shopping. Meanwhile let's see what else I found in those beach balls...
Tank tops are a traditional staple of a summer wardrobe, so these are welcome additions to my inventory. On the left I am wearing the $1L gift from Gypsy Chic, called Knotted Good Vibes Aloha Special Gift, which is included in standard mesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP versions. On the right is the LustCo Tropical Mika Tank, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine along with standard mesh sizing. With both of these shirts I am wearing another terrific dollarbie Aloha fair gift, from January called Denim Jeans Ripped HUD. The HUD is for Maitreya bodies only, and has 7 different denim shades to choose from. These don't actually look ripped to me, although the images on the HUD did, but I must say there are times when I need a more high waisted pair of jeans which these are. I was very pleased with them for that reason as well as the range of shades of the denim.
These are the same fun jeans, in one of their darker options, topped with another Aloha Fair dollarbie gift. This is the Pechu Shop -PS- Shana Crop Top Hippie Purple, and it comes in sizes for eBody, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, plus a Standard S and Standard L. The twist of tie dye makes these colors really pop, and I think it will pair just as nicely with a skirt as it does with these jeans.
Mishchino is offering this thoughtful tunic as their $1L gift at the Aloha Fair, the top of the safety pin reads "You are safe with me" and the bottom says "I stand beside you". I have a bracelet and a pin in RL reflecting this exact sentiment, so it touched me ♥. The brightly colored tunic comes in sizes for Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. Wear it as a short dress, or wear it as a top with your favorite tights/jeans/shorts/leggings beneath, it is slightly longer in the back which adds a touch of visual interest.

Today I had an acupuncture visit and stopped in to see my grandmother after, convenient since her rehab facility is just a few minutes away from the acupuncturist and I always do enjoy visiting with her. She is doing okay, still very limited mobility on the right side but she does daily therapy to see if they can improve that. Recovery rates I found online for stroke victims were not promising though, so I am grateful for any improvement she may make. Oh well, several busy days ahead, and some exciting things to blog soon, so please stay tuned. I hope you're all having a terrific day/evening, magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Tonight I have just a few more prizes to share from the Womenstuff Hunt, which has just over a week remaining for you to find all the hidden red t-shirts you wish from 150 different stores. The website will guide you with hints and landmarks in case you decide to skip any locations, and hopefully this month I have given you glimpses of enough various prizes to help you decide to give it a try.
This dress is terrific for the weekend, or any time at all. It is the prize from Gypsy Chic called Strap Slim Dress Jeans Basic and wait until you see the range of sizes included: 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, 5 busty, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. The strappy style in the back is adorable, and I love the idea of revealing my back and showing some leg but not cleavage, so it is flirty but still has a comfy feel.
Lady in red...this alluring dress should come with a warning label that it could make someone's heart race! It is our prize from I.M. Collection and comes in a fitmesh size along with Hourglass, Lara, and Slink sizes. The tiny polka dots are a playful touch, and how wild is this deep navel-baring neckline?
If you crave another ravishing red choice, head to @AdReNaLiZeD@ to find their hidden t-shirt, which contains this gorgeous Juliet Red dress in a fitmesh size for classic avis along with eBody, Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique versions. There are many details to catch the eye, sheer panels and lace trim add visual interest. I paired this with the very versatile shoes from Sevyn East, their LA Heels in TMP, Maitreya, and Slink sizes. Hiya everyone, or perhaps I should say aloha! I visited the Aloha Fair 2016 this morning, lots of goodies to see everywhere among the lush scenery of huts and palm trees and beautiful flowers. Many of the designers have placed a gift out for us, either in a big beach ball or the surf board from last year, a few even just in their own packaging, either free or $1L. I did see a few for $5L or so too. The tropical theme lends itself to so many possibilities, and I am showing you a sampling of the many gifts I picked up.
First we have a sweet retro style bathing suit from Gypsy Chic, their $1L gift for us. It is provided in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, so helpful for all the mesh bodies and various sizes around the grid these days. My bracelet is one of 12 found in the free gift from MOoH! because it is their Zodiac set of Rainbow Friendship Bracelets. I am wearing the Aquarius (waves for the sign of the water bearer) as my real life zodiac sign, I think my avi would be Libra based on an early September rez day. I love the colors and the fun styling!
Next we have another dollarbie gift, this time from Kara Baby, a flirty bikini simply called Aloha in system layers and appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and Omega. The pattern on the top is eye catching and very flattering, and the bottom covers just enough.
*LX* has a great gift out for us as well, their Melanie in Sea. This dress is provided in mesh body sizes only for the fair, Hourglass and Maitreya and Physique sizes, and a HUD with 6 lovely color options. I added another gift found at the Aloha Fair, the Tropicalia Necklace from Lyrical B!zarre Templates, which is a terrific offering that matches the atmosphere of the event quite nicely.
Everyone needs some nice flip flops for the season, and I found 2 fun pairs at the fair. On the left, you see the BLAM flip flops from Mutiny in Heaven, which are provided in classic, Belleza, and Slink sizes for a great fit. The pattern does indeed say BLAM on it :) The cuties on the right are Slipper Originals' gift for us, their Aloha gift in Maitreya, Slink, and TMP sizes. Those starfish are a great touch!
Sometimes we just need more cute in our lives, and Les Sucreries de Fairy will gladly provide some with their Coconut Bear gift for all visitors to the fair. She is hiding in a coconut surrounded by leaves and beneath a few flowers (Cala lilies perhaps?) but those biiiig eyes just beg for hugs! Simply add the item from your inventory with your AO off and you can snuggle this lil love too. I am still wearing the Melanie.Sea gift from *LX* in yet another color from that fun HUD of theirs.
