Tonight I am showing some more prizes from the Peace On Earth 10 Hunt, and there are only a few days left to find all those globes so I hope you got started already :) This is one of my favorite annual hunts, and we certainly do need more peace in the world lately so the name is quite timely. I do suggest having the hunt website open for easy access to landmarks and info on any stores that need to be skipped, probably a good idea with any hunt actually. When you find each globe, it will give you a folder with your free prize and the next landmark to help you along your journey.
First we have our prize from Pretty Kitty Design, their Winter Wonder Top and Skirt with ARCTIC technology. This means it includes a transmitter that allows your clothing (or portions of it, in this case the snowflakes and the lacing on the sleeves) to rotate through 20 different colors or you can click one on the HUD to choose it to stay that shade. I really enjoyed the Knotted Skater Dress from OMG! Inc., especially since it includes a HUD with 5 different print textures to choose from. The dress is provided in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. The style is great for year round wear, so a terrific addition to any wardrobe.
One of the many joys of SL is that just because there is snow in the forecast (or a sim's decorations) does not mean we have to bundle up. It makes all sorts of weather more enjoyable, and I can happily wear this very short, off the shoulder style mini from #bye in the chilliest looking areas. It is simply named PoE Hunt 10 Gift, and includes standard fitmesh sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. Those intricately detailed snowflakes are a beautiful touch on the softly colored dress.
Dragonmoon Designs is offering this outfit in their hidden globe, called Winter Love POE Hunt Item. It starts with the strapless mini, trimmed in snowy fur and decorated with flakes and a snow family on the front, in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and standard fitmesh sizes. Then we can add the antlers and the necklace (a collar with bells, much like you might find on a reindeer) if we so desire. This playful look was a fun choice for my final look of the evening.
I will certainly be finishing my year in busy mode, with another family gathering behind me but more plans for the next several days that are sure to keep me hopping. My family used to do a huge New Years Day dinner with a country ham and all sorts of sides and other courses, but it got to be too much hassle so close to Christmas so they stopped a few years back (maybe 5 or 6) and I am actually glad at the moment. It was great to see everyone, and the food was delicious, but sometimes it is better to relax. I have seen everyone who would have been invited either yesterday or two days prior, or both. I did add a few strategic white stars to cover certain areas, those are not on the actual outfit.

Tonight we will look at a few more Wash Springtacious Cart Sale bargains, an ideal spot to get a great deal on clothing for any avatar (male, female, child) and accessorize them in style, or decorate your home for well below retail prices. The event lasts until the 12th of April. I also have a few more Kiyomizu Hunt prizes to share, as I have found most of those well hidden ninja cats at the Kiyomizu Mall and at some of the main stores of the designers found there. First we have two finds from The Little Bat's cart at the Wash, each for a mere $10L. The shirt is their Beach Please Top, in standard mesh sizes and bearing a clever slogan for those of us in areas where it is still a bit chilly and are longing for fun in the sun. The shorts are the Rachel Shorts w/HUD and they include standard mesh sizes along with Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. The HUD lets you choose from 8 color options, and you know I greatly appreciate versatility. The straps are intriguing, giving your look a playful edge. Pair them with each other, or with any of your favorite wardrobe staples. This look is ideal for warmer weather, those soft colors certainly made me smile. The top is from White Shell, their Camisole especially for this hunt. It comes in a single mesh size with matching alpha layer, and I would like to mention that at another of their stores (separate location, separate cat) they have a matching skirt as a prize so if you wear a classic avatar or have a fairly slender mesh avatar/booty (mine was apparently too large for the skirt, LOL) then that gift is a nice option for what to wear with this lovely top. I have paired it here with the prize from Shop Ichiko called Denim Shorts. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have another variety for you, from hunt prizes to group gifts to Midnight Mania prizes. The hunt is the Cute & Curvy 2 Hunt, a dollarbie gridwide hunt with a great array of participating designers who have hidden terrific prizes in their tiny lollipop hunt objects. Just follow the hints, find the sweet treat, pay it a linden, and you've got yourself a very inexpensive addition to your wardrobe. The group gifts I mentioned are a couple more for Fabulously Free in SL, FabFree for short, and they have a whole list of group gifts here. I have shown some before, and am delighted to share a couple more tonight.
First we have a hunt prize from Lady Dragon's Designs, their (CnC) Ladies Outfit which consists of the B&W Poka Bibs pants, Bikini, and Sassy Top. The pants have standard sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Physique, and Hourglass versions, while the tops each come in Hourglass, Maitreya, Slink, and Toxic sizes only. I love the variety, and I'll bet those pants would look just as cute with a plain white or black crop top, tank, or simple tee of your choosing as well.
One of the fun FabFree group gifts can be found at Pretty Kitty Designs, just wear your group tag (FabFree is free to join as always) and you will find this Victoria V3 outfit in a bag on the counter. The top and pants each come in 8 sizes (standard, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink) and as you can see, they each have eye-catching details in monochrome.
Remember the last time I blogged FabFree group gifts, and I had found that wonderful feathery corset outfit at Glitter? Well it seems there is another gift there too, the Angel Corset is still there but we can also claim a more casual classy look. Here you can see their DORA mesh outfit in Beig, top and leggings each in standard mesh sizes. From the landing spot, head down to the far end of the courtyard and you will find the main Glitter store, go in and turn right and there is a wall of gifts for many groups including their own. I only mention this since I was a bit lost the first time I visited :)
I have another case of "remember when" for all of you...I had posted a gift from Snowpaws for the FabFree group, then that very evening they changed out their gift which I did not discover until I published my post. I still feel badly about that case of poor timing, but I hope seeing this gorgeous Segalle Halter Dress in Blue Flower can make up for that :) This is the new gift from Snowpaws, and is a beautiful way to accentuate your curves in 5 standard and 5 fitmesh sizes. It looks like shimmery satin, just begging to be touched.
DanemarkZ has a treat for all of us, a pair of Midnight Mania boards that do not require a group tag to click and they have a very reasonable target to help them lock down easily. One of the prizes is proudly on display here, their Princess Lingerie #04 in system layers and an Omega HUD. The strapless bra and bikini panties have sweet polka dots and a hint of lace at the edges, and a couple of well placed bows as a finishing touch.
Nail note of the night: the other Midnight Mania board at DanemarkZ has their sexy DMZ Ten Shades of Nailpolish Pack, also with a target of just 20 clicks, and I wanted to share a closer look but SL would not cooperate. I noticed close up that when I applied the nail polish, my Slink nail would partly disappear like there is an alpha issue happening, tried re-wearing the hands themselves and changing nail styles (on/off, stiletto, medium, etc) but I could only see them normally with a default polishing from the Slink HUD itself. Relogged completely, no improvement, so I will try again tomorrow. There are 10 designs to choose from, shades of blues and greys either solid gloss or a subtle design that reminded me of marble or concrete, and there is even a choice of black with silver chains draped across the nail.
I am starting to think my mood for this week can be summed up with a question: is it nap time yet? ;) I think feeling tired and drained is becoming a mood since it is seeping into my outlook on things. It will be okay, life is generally good, I will always find reasons to smile.
