Happy Women's Day

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got an event to share with a very small window of time, so let's not dawdle :) The Hints&Hunts Women's Day event started yesterday (I found out today) and ends on the 10th, so just a few days of wonderful gifts to celebrate the ladies in our lives. The ones in my life are clever, capable, and have inspired me in countless ways, so I'm honored to treat them with respect and kindness. The official International Women's Day is on the 8th, so it's a nice reminder to do something thoughtful for your favorite ladies both in RL and SL. Keep an eye out for other gifts and sales for the day too, as self-care is important as well.

My first look is the flirty Roja's Cherry Blossom w/boots, a set that is loaded with sex appeal. The dress has a sheer pink skirt and thong panties built in, with lovely floral patterned top and long sleeves. The boots have bold high heels and come all the way up above the knee, so fun! Each piece is provided in Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing.

This gorgeous look is our Bette Gown Phools Glitz Watermelon Pink gift from Frick-n-Frack which can be found on the desk across from the sign instead of right there on the sign itself. It's got a great halter neckline, bare back, and daring side slit that shoes off the entire left leg. There are sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included. I love the texture, soft pink flowers decorated in what the name seems to say is fool's gold ;) It's so pretty that I want to say that's okay, go ahead and fool me.

So we've got more pink to honor the feminine spirit, but this one is a much more casual outfit :) It's our LoveCat Store gift called =LCS= Thayla Fitmesh Set, and it consists of a cropped ribbed tank top and denim shorts that are undone in the front to flop open just a touch. Each of these are provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Ocacin, Reborn, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizes. I think we could layer a pair of BOM panties beneath quite nicely if we felt like a bit more coverage was in order. 

Why choose between two colors when you can have both, and for free? My last look of the night is our lovely InStyle Women's Day GIFT. The dress, roses, rose breast, and belt bow are each separate pieces, designed to fit Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There are 2 HUDs enclosed also, with the first offering 25 colors for the belt bow (the dress buttons are for the fatpack only so do not work here) and the roses HUD letting us choose from 31 pretty colors. Even without the added 3D rose pieces, there is a gorgeous floral pattern at play here, and the rose additions make me think of spring in addition to femininity. So versatile!

You know you're getting old when you manage to injure yourself while sleeping, right? LOL! My neck has been bothering me for a few days, and I have been doing gentle stretching a few times a day including just now. Fingers crossed that it starts loosening things up and eases the discomfort :) Otherwise it was a nice day with a tasty dinner (manicotti) at my parents', and a little too much time again playing the new Pokemon game called Pokopia. It's a world building game, and does remind me of the ones I already play. I used to play Pokemon Go, so I'm somewhat familiar with the characters although I'd forgotten a lot of their names. I've got an early farmers market visit in the morning, and therapy Sunday, so the weekend is looking decent here I'd say. Hints & Hunts Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a look at several group gifts for the Hints & Hunts group, for their XOXO hunt which runs until the 20th of February. The hunt prizes are $10L - $25L and hiding in gold hearts with pink bows around them, while the group gifts I'm sharing are found in white square boxes with hot pink ribbons atop them. These are free and the group is also free to join :) You'll find links and pictures of the gifts and hunt keys on the website. They aren't all strictly Valentine themed, but many are at least a nod to this time of year. I know some people despise the holiday, others can't get enough of it, and then there's me in the middle who leans towards liking but not obsessed with it. I'm also a "whatever floats your boat" kind of person, so I respect all opinions on the subject and try to advise you what to expect anywhere I bring you this time of year. All I want is for people to be kind to each other no matter what the calendar says :)

We start out looking sexy in our .::DS::. XoXo 2026 Hunt Gift from Dark Salvation. This group goodie consists of the flirty dress and matching shoes in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The rear view is what I affectionately call peek-a-booty, meaning you'll see plenty of bum cleavage, and the dress itself is on the sheer side so your valentine or random hot date will certainly want to keep you close :)

As I often try to do, I paired two gifts here for one sassy look. The YUEBIN - XOXO Hunt GIFT is a playful top named Betula, and comes in male and female avatar body sizing - Belleza Jake, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy F, Legacy M, Perky, Reborn, V-Tech, and Waifu. It is cropped and has straps hanging down the front as well as pink ones on the sleeves. Wouldn't this be great to show off a back tattoo? It looks cute with our Metallic Jeans by LAP (Blue&Pink) group gift, baggy cuffed jeans with a low rise and a built in belt and lots of studs on the left front leg. There are original and PBR versions each in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes. Both of these separates will look amazing with loads of items already in your inventory, I'm sure, so make fashion fun and make it yours by wearing them however suits you. 

I also grabbed the Nut & Squirrel Kathy group gift, which is a starry swimsuit and fluttery skirt to layer atop it :) These are each provided in sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. To make it even more special, we've got HUDs to customize things...the suit and skirt HUD each offer 20 solid colors and 20 patterns, then the metals HUD has 3 tones for the hoop in the front of the skirt's waistband. Once you get to a mature rated beach, you can slide out of the skirt and soak up the sun in your strappy swimsuit.

Next we see the sporty -MicRo- Hunt Gift. It immediately caught my eye as being terrific for any time of year and not overly girlie or cutesy. My first thought was something fun to explore anywhere in SL with friends or a romantic partner, as you could even hike a mountain trail if you add some boots or sneakers :) The tank top and shorts will each fit Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. 

My final look should remind you that I love well polished nails, and I'm always eager to show off my newest SL finds with all of you :) The CHOU Touch of RainBow group gift does not seem to be the one pictured on their website, but I adore this set and am not the least disappointed by that. There are two versions enclosed, touch of rainbow and BOuns Of touch, with the second one being the one in the center/lower part of my image above. They are animated so they knocked my socks off! Both sets of mesh nails are provided in Belleza Old, Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizes. I was always that kid who loved rainbows in any form, so they'd have a special place in my heart even without the Pride association adding an extra smile. 

Quick hair note: this weekend's Saturday Sale offering from Truth Hair is a collab with Truth's RL daughter, which makes me very happy to see that his talent is shared by the next generation. Also to be fair it is simply a fantastic style that I would have bought no matter who he'd designed it with! There are hair clips included but not shown that have hearts with different sayings for each color you choose from the HUD, very Valentine candy themed and a great nod to the holiday.

The weekend felt both fast and slow at the same time, always mysterious when that happens but I will say it was an enjoyable one here :) Houseguest, birthday celebration, wonderful company and I stayed indoors most of the weekend to avoid the bitter cold. Even my therapy session this evening went well, and finished over an hour before The Big Game started ;) That is not my sport of choice, so I was only interested in the commercials and the halftime show, and Puppy Bowl of course ♥. My guest is on their way home right now, so there's that little pang of missing them already, but it is never a goodbye but see you later. I'm watching figure skating right now while I type this, but it's tricky to focus on both and I've got other things to do so the skating will get paused (tivo) shortly. Time for Tequila

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're hopping along the Tequila Hunt path, loaded with prizes and free group gifts. Just join the Hunts & Hints group for free, and you can claim a treat from the gift box at each store near the hunt sign, then explore the store for the tequila bottles for $10L - $25L. My drinking days are far behind me, but I do recall having a margarita or two at Jimmy Buffett concerts (when in Margaritaville...) and have tried a couple other cocktails with our hunt's namesake spirit. Whether you indulge or not, this hunt can be a fun way to save money on some impressive hunt prizes and of course the free group gifts I'm about to show you.

First I slipped into the .:YASU:. 110 - Tropical Top which is our group gift there. Its pink trim matches the floral pattern really well, and is one of my favorite colors so that earned bonus points from me ;) There are sizes for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, and the Maitreya fit surprisingly well on the Lara X that I am wearing in all of these photos. If not, I would have tried the Legacy for fun, then swapped bodies for a moment if all else failed. This top looks great with my Delizio jeans (marketplace freebie) but I think it would work like a dream with other pants or skirts, maybe in pink or green.

The bare arms made it easy to share another generous gift, the Mithril Store_Music New Tattoo. There are 2 versions with different sizes and placement, each in BOM layers, and both headsets and cassette tapes appear on both arms at once. It certainly reminded me of how I've listened to some songs lately on my headphones that I also used to listen to on a Walkman or my boom box, via cassette! Technology changes but some classics remain listen-worthy. These tattoos are such a playful way to show off your love of music in any format.

These sassy shoes are our Roja's Beautiful Disaster HEELS group gift, which also happen to coordinate beautifully with the paid prizes (not shown) from this location :) The stiletto heels are wrapped in straps that have closures reminiscent of a backpack or seatbelt, intriguing and looking quite daring in red and black. There are sizes for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn feet.

I really love Web Dew, so it was exciting to stop by and pick up their ::WD:: Dress Innocence - Hunt Edition treat for H&H group members. Our long dress has a stained glass type pattern and a knit bodice with lots of lovely details on it, in Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Prima Busty, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. There's also a HUD of course, which can be used to tint the top jewels and various components like flowers, pearls, and leaves. At the bottom are a few checks and Xs to show or hide a few details as well, so this is quite customizable. 

My final look of the evening is the delightful [FAME] Tequila Hunt 2025 - GIFT dress. The teal color is gorgeous, and the inset down the front right side with the stripes adds plenty of visual interest. Plus there is just something so sexy about tank dresses :) Our gift includes sizing for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies.

It was another busy day, mostly the evening since I had a support group meeting online at 7pm. It went well, and I am feeling relatively optimistic :) Tomorrow I'm supposed to go out, and I've already forgotten where...oh right, a nice little coffee shop I've been to twice before. I always get something decaf, so we aren't provoking the anxiety more than just being in the car will. They have breakfast sandwiches all day too, so I might even get something for Wednesday morning. Tequila Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm inviting you to indulge in an adult beverage or two in SL, courtesy of the Tequila Hunt from the Hints & Hunts group. Now the hunt prizes are $10L - $25L, hidden in tequila bottles, and there are group gifts in a tall cactus with an embroidered sombrero (hat) hanging on the front. The website has images of both of these, as well as landmarks, hints, and hunt keys from participating stores. Some of the group gifts (from sponsors) are at the main office of the hunt, and that is also where you can click a large sign to get a notecard with the same info I just mentioned from the website :) The group is free to join, and the hunt opened in the end of August and runs until the 18th of September. They seem to hold a different hunt each month, so please stay tuned for future events. My first two photos tonight are a bit more revealing than usual, but not obscenely so (I hope). I'm also giggling because I keep picturing Pee Wee Herman dancing to the old song Tequila in his movie, so I am probably showing my age tonight ;) 

My first look of the evening is one of the group gifts available at the hunt office, the ..YIA.. Harmonia Outfit 8 Colors Fatpack. The pasties, skirt, and belt are each provided in eBody Reborn, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, with a skirt/belt HUD offering 8 skirt colors and 3 belt metals. We also get a HUD for the pasties with 12 glittery textures to choose from. The hunt office is also the place to grab our ~VE~ MEDUSA TATTO GIFT from Victoria Essence, an intricately designed image of Medusa and her hair snakes in tattoo form. The story of Medusa is one where the perception has shifted over the years, as people have realized that she was probably not a willing participant in the relationship that caused her to be cursed, yet she retained power even in death. 

Next we go to some of the participating stores' locations, like Roja's, to claim their group gift called Athena Sukura DRESS. For my final look of the evening, I happily changed into the Tequila Hunt Gift from COVETED! dress. It has an intriguing style with plunging neckline and daring slit on the left side that produces a diagonal hem, and let's not forget the flirty openings on both sides of the ribcage :) The fabric has all sorts of imagery in dark colors with an edgy feeling, sure to turn heads. Our gift includes Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizing.

Bunny Hunt Group Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a fun exploration of the Hunts & Hints group's current hunt, the Bunny Hunt, which in addition to $10L - $25L prizes features some fantastic free group gifts at many of the stores. I am all about the group gifts tonight, so I should probably mention that the group is free to join and you can click a sign at the headquarters to get a notecard of hunt keys and landmarks. The hunt keys show you the prizes and in some cases the prices, very helpful in deciding what to search for :) The prizes are hidden inside red and blue striped eggs, while the group gifts we are looking at tonight are in cute giftboxes with Happy Easter in various colors, tied with a bright orange ribbon and bow. 

It always makes sense to start at the headquarters or office of any hunt that has one, and especially in this case since there is a group gift awaiting :) This is the *Hints&Hunts* GIFT Bunny Hunt 2024 FEMALE (yes that means there is also a male gift!) which was designed by Shining. The flirty bikini has a separate bra top and thong panty that each fit Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with 5 texture choices for each, to mix and match as you desire. I'd also like to mention that the Valentine hunt group gift is still available in this same room, and I hadn't been here yet then so I was/am very happy for the opportunity to pick that up as well.

Next I slipped into the DANI Spring Tube Dress Bunny Hunt Gift, from the store I knew initially as Designs by Danielle so I'm not sure if she is renaming as DANI or just abbreviating lately :) This beautiful spring plaid is cut low at the neckline and has a short hem particularly in the rear, so it has considerable flirt factor. There are sizes for Erika, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies included. 

Another wonderful gift can be found at *Shining* in their giftbox, called Cris Dress. It is a sweet strapless dress trimmed in lace, both across the bodice and in two fun sections on the skirt. We receive sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, Juicy Rolls, and Waifu mesh bodies, as well as a HUD with 4 lovely textures to choose from. I'm very grateful to this designer for both this gift and the one I showed you first from the hunt HQ!

Here comes Magpie Cottontail, hopping down the bunny trail...you wouldn't even necessarily get the bunny vibe from the front view of our Blackstone - Nicole Set - Fatpack gift, but the view from behind tells the tail tale if you choose to wear it :) The gift consists of the tube top, shorts, suspenders, tail, and tie that each fit Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. To make it a fatpack, it also includes a HUD that has 10 colors for each of the 5 pieces, and 4 metals each for the shorts and suspenders. Once bunny season is over, you can easily wear this without the tail if you prefer, and you can swap out the sheer tube top for something more solid if modesty is a concern. This is a versatile delight of a gift!

My final look of the evening comes from MELODY, and is their stunning LUCA FATPACK dress. Strapless seems to be my accidental theme of the night, at least when it comes to the amazing dresses I've found to share :) Luca here will fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, and comes with a 20 color HUD to allow you to select your favorite hue. The ones I chose aren't very seasonal, but that was kind of my point I guess, to demonstrate that it will work for any time of year. Those peekaboo holes are a real eye-catcher, don't ya think?

Watching your favorite team losing in overtime is truly frustrating, and probably even more so when you are already tired and slightly crabby. That was my evening, lol, and my afternoon included a quick trip to the local park where I saw some dogs enjoying the last sunny day we're going to have for a while. I'm dyeing my hair at home tomorrow, which I haven't done for at least 20 years (myself at home that is, I've let the pros do it but the anxiety does not want me to sit that long in a salon right now) so it will be a challenge for sure. I got a demi-permanent one with no ammonia, so it might not do much since I've never tried this type before. It will help me look forward to going to the farmers market again and being seen by all those people, lol, unless it comes out awful and I have to hide it under a hat or something ;) Home kits are usually pretty foolproof though.
