Hot Fun in the Summertime

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some presents for you from the SL16B shopping event, all from the Tinseled Sim which is one of the 5 dedicated to shopping. The entire Second Life 16th Birthday event covers way more than that, it's really something special! I also have a selection from The Trunk Show to show you, the discounted offer from Entice this round. 

First up, we have the gift from Tres Blah which is their Ginger Halter Fatpack. That's right, an entire range of solids and patterns via HUD can be yours for free, just for visiting their display! The halter top comes in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Maitreya, and Legacy (classic avatar) sizes, and the HUD offers 16 choices for the halter and 11 shades to tint the sheer bottom. I paired the halter top with a marketplace gift from Delizio that appear here frequently, their jeans in light blue which is one of several shades included in system layers plus appliers for Maitreya and Omega. 

The jeans from Delizio also look sharp with the gift from !APHORISM! called Thyme Winter Sweater SL16B Gift. Their gift actually includes the male version (Tyler) too, and there is a HUD provided too with 9 colors for the cuffs. The ladies' sizes include Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya.

The SL16B event has a theme of the fifties, as a throwback to a time of transformation like SL has experienced in all these years. So this gift from ALPHA FEMALE is a perfect choice :) There is a male gift too, so the guys are not left out of the fun at this event. The outfit consists of the top and shorts each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes, with the matching scarf in standard mesh sizing and the open toed heels in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high versions. 

Time to visit The Trunk Show, where among the great offers you will find this Entice - Love Story dress in 8 individual versions for $199L each (regularly $300L) and the Fatpack for $599L. The fatpack is especially versatile, as it includes a HUD that provides 2 bonus colors as well as the ability to mix and match the dress, bow, and pearls with all 10 colors or patterns. Around The Grid For Great Prizes

Hiya everyone! Tonight I will be showing you some prizes from the Around The Grid 4 Hunt, a $1L gridwide hunt that also offers the option of purchasing the prize for $25L right at the sign for those who prefer not to search around for the hidden one. Either way, you are getting a fun bargain and a wide variety of prizes to find. I found several of the red and yellow hot air balloons, and here are a few of the treats inside.

This first outfit is irresistible at just one linden, and can be found at Artistic Rage. I was intrigued by the pattern on the skirt, and the sweet pink touches on the top both front and back.

Wrapping up the night with a free group gift or two, I headed to Apple May Designs when I heard about these super sexy dresses. Their group is free to join, and they are currently offering their Aiko in Lilac and in Sky as group gifts. Each color includes the panties, top, and polka dotted top in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Isis, Maitreya, and Physique bodies. It is subtle but I'm wearing the lilac polka on the left and the solid sky on the right.

It has been a pretty good week here so far, and I hope all of you have been enjoying yours as well. Limited Time Remaining for Gifts!

Hiya everyone! Did you ever put something off because you were distracted by other things, and thought you had plenty of time left, then you finally did said thing and realized the deadline was almost here? Well that would be me with Collabor88 and their SLB13 gifts for the 13th birthday of Second Life. *blushes* I finally went there this morning and realized the sign said they were wrapping up on the 6th, so tomorrow, and I am very sorry that I didn't get there sooner to give all of you more time. My first look is two different gifts that looked amazing together. My top is the -tres blah- Ruffled Crop Tank, which comes in 3 sizes made for mesh bodies: Hourglass, Lara, and Physique. The skirt is our gift from !APHORISM! called Jas Leather Skirt, in the same sizes as the top actually, Maitreya and Slink Hourglass and Slink Physique. No wonder they look so good together :) Those zippers in the front are a fun touch for sure. I have been noticing it more and more that things are geared towards mesh bodies only, no alpha layers included. 

Here you can see two more gifts, starting with the outfit which is Hannah in Silver by Apple May Designs. This set comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Maitreya, and Physique in the top, bottom, and skirt so you can decide which pieces to wear. I've shown just the top and bottom on the left, added the skirt on the right. Also I am enjoying one of the gifts from =Zenith= here, their Boho Ring (Flower) in Silver, which also comes in a gold version. You can see the striking gems better in the inset in the middle of the image, so lovely! 

[Decoy] is celebrating SLB13 with a very generous gift for us, this is their Vanessa Dress in Bubblegum and their Siren Wedges in Bubblegum. The dress includes standard mesh sizes plus fitted for Maitreya Lara and Slink Physique. The shoes come in two versions, Maitreya and Slink MID. At the risk of sounding like an infomercial, I must say but WAIT! There's MORE...

Also in that same gift from [Decoy] is the charming Vanessa Dress in another color combo, this time Watermelon. These sure do sound like yummy summer flavors! Same sizes as above, the standard sizes plus the two mesh body versions. I have always enjoyed those colors together, even as a green plant with bright pink blooms, oh and have you ever seen watermelon tourmaline? I would love a piece of jewelry with that particular gemstone on it one of these days. (I mean RL but now might go looking in SL)

Hair note of the night: you may have noticed I am wearing a new style, this too is a gift at Collabor88 for SLB 13, courtesy of +elua+ and named Mao Red. There is a HUD for 10 different shades from light auburn to deep crimson, and I think the shorter look is ideal for summer along with being a flattering 'do.

Today was only one of my doctor visits, tomorrow morning is the other...scheduling issues as always...for now I am still putting up with drastically reduced hearing in my 'good ear' due to either allergies or maybe an infection. After several days, allergy meds aren't helping so it's time to let a pro take a peek. Not whining, just explaining why if I don't seem quite myself lately. Shiny Shabby Anniversary Treats

Hiya everyone! I had a serious case of SL crash-itis but I am back and pleased to be so :) I am bringing you some terrific anniversary gifts from the Shabby Shiny event, no group is needed for these generous goodies just a viewer that doesn't mind really crowded sims (like mine apparently does!). The event runs until March 10th, so plenty of time to visit and browse for fantastic bargains and lots of gifts.

My first look of the night is a gorgeous gown from PEQE called Lady of Time in Pink. She comes in standard mesh sizes and features such a lush color and texture, sure to be a hit wherever you wear it. 

Next we have a really intriguing dress from American Beauty, their Turtle Chin Knit Dress in Dark Grey. This made me giggle as I'd never heard that term before, turtlenecks but not turtle chin, but it's clear that it comes up higher than a turtle neck, keeping our pretty chins warm when it's breezy out. My lovely earrings weren't very visible so I went in for a closeup...they are multiple big hoops (one piece though) from Minimal. Jewelry is always a pefect gift, isn't it? :)

This very cute outfit is actually one mesh piece, our fun present from M.Birdie simply called 2015 Last Winter Gift. The outer layer shirt says Dairy Made Ice Cream, and the color did put me in mind of some nice rich chocolate. The attached skirt has more of a reddish tone, and I think the alpha layer isn't playing nicely with my shape (that's been happening a lot lately but usually in the boob area) so even the Large size looks a bit odd at the hem. This outfit is provided in Small, Medium, and Large sizes by the way :)

For my last look of the night, I went with a very sexy teddy, and a grumpy looking teddy ;) My lingerie is from Apple May Designs and is their Izzie in Black, which is provided in system layers (shown) along with appliers for Belleza, Maitreya Lara, Omega, Slink Physique, TMP, and even Baby Bump. There are also 3 sizes of bows for the back, a very sweet touch. My bear on the right is from Pewpew! and is their Mad Teddy Classic, with built in hold pose. Not sure why he's so cranky, snuggling with him didn't seem to help but I'm enjoying his company regardless.

No nail note of the night (SL default HUD again) but a hair note since this is one of several hair gifts to be found at Shiny Shabby, this one from Elikatira. This is their [e] Kiki in Exclusives, whose HUD has 20 choices including 12 colors and 8 ombres. I will show my SL age a bit here by saying I used to be a big fan back in her ETD days :) This style is so playful, and that big curl in the front along with the smaller one in the back are just a delight. Oh and I also have an eye note tonight, those are the Amacci gift at Shiny Shabby called Zenith Eye Mocha and come in standard and mesh versions. The standard have 3 sizes with a dark version of each, while the mesh have a HUD for all those neat options.

I am running very late, for some reason lately things seem to get really weirdly busy or crop up suddenly the minute I sit down to blog. I apologize for my absence last night, I wasn't feeling great and was stressed trying to get ready for a busy day today, and when I crashed 5 times that morning I just gave up temporarily. Two hectic days in a row, and now here I am :) I got to see my best friend earlier which meant the world to me, it had been since September since we got together and I hate going that long without her hugs and wonderful company. Meanwhile I hope all of you have had plenty of reasons to smile today, and magical magpie hugs to each of you!!

Firestorm Spooky Nights - Bones Path

Hiya everyone! I am pleased to bring you part 2 of the Firestorm Spooky Nights Hunt, tonight featuring prizes found on Path 2, the Bones Path. This one was challenging, wide open spaces yet lots of nooks and crannies to search as well, and there are 4 skulls (of the 30 total) that I still never located there. Xan and I spent hours there, so I owe him a huge thank you <3 and fortunately I still had plenty of goodies to share with all of you.

First we have a unisex outfit from Vero Modero, prize #05 in the Bones hunt path. This New York Street Set includes mesh pants in standard sizes that ride comfortably low on the hips, plus a system layer tank top and the shoulder shirt shown. 

This outfit is actually a combination of two terrific prizes. Our Simple Sleeves shirt is from Apple May Designs, #03, and includes the orange and pumpkin versions in several mesh sizes including for Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Maitreya Beta, and Slink along with the standard sizes. The skirt is from OMG! Inc. and is prize #10, complete with a HUD for 6 color options. 

I paired the skirt with another fun prize here, this being #09 from Entice. Their Firestorm Hoodie in olive/blue comes in standard mesh sizes along with a matching male version. It looks nice and cuddly, and I appreciate the little details like all the pockets.

Perhaps your style is more dressy, and/or more Gothic...be sure to find skull #15 then from Pixel Bits for this beauty! Their gifts include the mesh Gothic dress in several sizes, plus the Gothic Crown of Thorns and even a Gothic black hair (not shown). This is gorgeous both coming and going, just look at that laced corset back.

Finally a touch of cuteness, always welcome in my book. The Spooky Tank dress and Sabre-toothed squirrel on my shoulder are our gifts from zOOm, found in prize #26. The dress comes in standard mesh sizes along with versions for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. My other new friend, Batbear Plushie Blue Edition, is from skull #26 courtesy of even.flow and has a menu upon click to turn the bat suit on and off, as well as the hold pose. I absolutely love his single little tooth showing, and the costume is precious.

Nail note of the night: I went simple again, the Slink default HUD that comes with each pair of hands or feet. I have been cycling through random favorite hairs of mine, mostly from Truth (like tonight) and Magika, but have been really getting an itch to try a new hair store. I'm hopeful that someone holds a huge mesh hair sale soon :)

Wednesdays are always a mixed bag, as the week can either feel like it is flying by or dragging its feet depending on your mood and plans. Right now I'm trying to find a new source of Chinese food in my area, hehe, as over the years all my favorite Asian cuisine places have moved or closed. I have a wicked craving that won't go away!
