Another Serving of CAKEDAY Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I want to show you some more of the multitude of group gifts you can find at the CAKEDAY event for their anniversary round. There are so many gifts to claim, and the group is free to join so there is absolutely no cost for these generous treats. There are also some impressive sales offers for men and women, and much of the ladies' clothing is created for curvy or full-figured mesh bodies. I noticed a lot of Kupra sizing, and I am wearing my Slink Hourglass body again tonight which is compatible with many of the offers and group gifts. Tonight I was in the mood for cosmetics too, so you will see lipstick and nails that might tempt you as well.

First we see the sexy gift from Vague. called Synamon Set. Its top and panty are each provided in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, in a deep raspberry color. The fishnet top has built in X pasties, and the panty zippers in the front with flirty straps all about.

I am also excited to show you the #Montesquieu - Draya PVC Bodysuit [Dragun] gift! This long sleeved bodysuit come in BBL, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizing, with a built in belt with DRIPPIN charms. The dragon on the front really caught my eye too!

For a very kissable look, I suggest claiming the LUXREBEL - Natural Plump Lipstick (Genus) applier gift, which offers 12 different shades of juicy looking color. They have beautiful shine, and a touch of shadow for depth that does give our lips a luxuriously plump appearance. 

I was amazed by the daring length of these Pink Dolla$ Set from NAILPLUG, and impressed that these are a free group gift. Happy CAKEDAY

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more CAKEDAY anniversary group gifts to share, from a wide range of talented designers. Just join the group for free, explore the huge event, and click all the gift boxes tied in twine. Each will give you a thoughtful gift, completely free, while you peruse the offers for sale and perhaps indulge in some retail therapy :) I am not sure when the event closes, but it opened on the 13th so my hope is that it will last at least until the end of the month. Because many of the vendors cater to full figured mesh bodies, I switched to my Slink Hourglass body tonight to show some gifts that do not offer a Maitreya version. I feel extra alluring with the added curves :)

My first look this evening is the BODIED: Gia Collection BODIEDpak gift. This flirty open blouse and pleated miniskirt are each provided in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, and Legacy mesh bodies, with a HUD to tint each in your choice of 12 colors. I can easily imagine roleplaying a school girl or office worker gone wild in this, as well as enjoying it for daily wear.

Next we see the BIO. Tiara Top Fatpack and matching Tiara Shorts Fatpack gifts, each of which include blue, brown, nude, onyx, orange, pink, sky, white, and yellow colors. Each color is packaged separately with Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing. The top makes me think of a sports bra, and the shorts are high waisted but also have relatively high cut legs. 

My curves are very much on display in the sulz- "Monokini" Fatpack gift. The swimsuit has gold and silver chained versions in each color (blue, cow, gray, green, lv, pink, purple, red, yellow) that in turn are each included in Hourglass, Kupra, and Legacy sizes. As for my tattoo, that would be the gift from [MTS] called Pack Leg Tattoo (Mia). It comes in system/BOM tattoo layers, v1 and v2 each in 55%, 75%, and 85% opacity. I am wearing the 85% opacity in the hope that is it the most photogenic :)

HAVOC is offering their Alien Skirt and Alien Top for all group members to claim for free. It consists of sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies for each piece. The lower hems are slightly jagged for added interest, and that top sure is daringly cropped. The skirt is high waisted but short hemline, so it will really accentuate your legs. 

For my final look of the evening, I slipped into two of the YARA GROUP GIFT PACK 1 dresses from MOXY. This gift includes sizes for 9JS, BBL, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Perky mesh bodies, in color versions called Baby (seen on the left above), Creme, Mind, and Veneta (right). There are alpha layers for the midriff in case your body needs a little extra cinching for the corset styling. I really like the poofy detached sleeves, which go really well with the gathered bust.

Weekend Wishes

Hiya everyone! Tonight we start our weekend at the Sun-Sational Summer Cart Sale on The Wash sim, one of my favorite seasonal events where we can find bargains of $50L or less from dozens of talented creators. The streets are lined with carts, packed with fashions for the whole family and home decor among the genres so you can freshen your wardrobe and living space without breaking the bank. I also have some more Stay at Home Club goodies to share, since these fine designers are still offering gifts to cheer up those of us who are mostly isolated in RL for safety. Their kindness is one of the things I will take away as a positive among the troubles, the silver lining we all deserve to find. Honestly the regular events like the Wash cart sale help too, consistency in an inconsistent world I guess, but I do feel a sense of comfort from the SL events that are still reliably there.

My first look features one of the wonderful choices from the Dreamz cart at The Wash, their DCI Arrlina with HUD. This dress has a unique and flattering style with the crossed straps in the back and the X in the front that reveals small sheer panels on each side of the waist, and a short fluttery skirt. It comes in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, with an impressive HUD to choose from 35 textures (25 solids, 10 patterns). This treat is just $25L, and there are several others with HUDs and various sizing for you to enjoy. I'm sure I have mentioned before how much I appreciate it when a dress or outfit comes with matching footwear, making me especially grateful for this Stay at Home gift from *It's Gau*. Their playful Janiss Black gift includes both the dress and above-the-knee boots, each sized for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The details really appeal to me here, like the distressed spots on both the dress and the boots, and the various cutouts making the boots look like they are crafted with straps on the sides.

For my final look of the evening, I have paired the two Stay at Home Club gifts from PopCorn which come together to create one very eye-catching outfit. Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings us to The Wash again for their Sun-Sational Summer Cart Sale. Here you will find affordable offers ($50L and under) from many innovative designers. There are clothing, accessories, home decor, and plenty more to see for the whole family to enjoy. I am also very happy to share some more Stay at Home Club gifts, as the generosity of the club's creators continues to make me proud to be part of such a thoughtful community as SL. In a global crisis like this, we are proving that coming together and being kind to each other is the best choice for our own emotional health and that of all our fellow residents. Isn't it always though? :) 

Brandy's Boutique has many terrific selections waiting for you on their cart at The Wash, including this versatile {BB} Lilly Outfit for just $10L. This look is able to be worn with or without the jeans/boots combo, and both the top and jeans/boots come in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. On the left I am wearing their baci-niver bubble dress, a vibrant strapless mini with plunging V neckline adorned with a bow at its tip. At a mere $10L, this bargain includes standard S and L sizes plus Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. The equally lovely look on the right is their baci-Leblon flower dress, a tank style with a long branch of purple blossoms on one side and a matching ruffle at the hem. This comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, with an 80 color HUD to allow you to tint that background any way you choose. I appreciate the sunny yellow shade, the bare shoulders above the sheer sleeves, and those music notes that remind me of the healing nature of song. I would like to note that this gift and the next one both contained multiple copies of each size but they appeared to be the same exact dress, so possibly SL being odd.

My final look of the evening is another gift from ~Kara Baby~ called Hallelujah, a breezy dress with high-low hem trimmed in ruffles and adorned with a bold butterfly and flower pattern. Side note, there was a third Stay at Home Club gift that I was unable to get delivered to me, which is another reason the multiples of each size felt like an SL glitch to me. Is it the weekend yet? Okay not quite, but it will be very soon and that is good enough for me :) I have my plans all set for Friday and Saturday, and I am definitely looking forward to them. As you may have noticed, I randomly decided to return to my usual auburn hair color for now, since I really did miss it. Perhaps I will change it again soon, just for variety's sake. Midweek Mix

Tonight I have quite a variety to show you, from several different sources, so put on your comfy shoes as we head across the grid :) We will be visiting the Designer Showcase event for the Entice offers, because I simply cannot resist a high quality bargain. Speaking of which, our next stop will be The Wash, for their Sun-Sational Summer Cart Sale that just opened and is ready to delight you until August 5th with selections for $50L or less from a wide range of talented designers. I even have a couple of time-sensitive hunt prizes to show you, as the Star Spangled Hunt has just a few days remaining to find hidden firecrackers and claim terrific prizes for a mere $1L each. It is an exciting night!

Entice is offering two coordinated separates in several versions each at Designer Showcase, their Hung Up Top - Graphic and the Hung Up Shorts - Neon. They are each available in 8 designs/colors for just $125L apiece, or you can choose the fatpack of each for $549L. The advantages of the fatpacks are 2 bonus colors or styles, and the ability to change textures via HUD which also includes the trim so you can create a constrasting look like I did on the left. The Wash cart sales always make me so happy, even back before I was a blogger and was simply an eager bargain hunter, and I am starting my coverage of this round with a treat from Vicarious Youth. They offer fashions for adults and kids, and obviously this is one of their adult sized creations which is called {V*Y} Mimi Dress - Poodle Pink. The charming retro dress is just $25L and comes in plenty of sizes: 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. There is something irresistible about a poodle skirt, and I have fond memories of wearing one for a Halloween costume as a teenager. Artic Storm makes their home here on The Wash sim, and always take part in the fun of the cart sales here which allows us to save even more money on their beautiful wares. This is one of their many offerings called *AS* PONI Top & Shorts 8-color HUD, a new $25L release for the cart sale. The top and shorts are each provided in Alice, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, and each with a HUD to choose from 8 textures. The bandeau style top is very flattering, and the high waisted shorts have playful ruffles in contrasting fabrics for added visual interest. 

Our next stop is Brocade Tiger, who are participating in the Star Spangled Hunt with prizes for the guys and gals. This is their Women's Short and Tank set, both pieces of which start out solid dark blue but then have an eye-catching patchwork of patriotic patterns. For my final look of the evening, we head to RIISE where we are again looking for a hidden firecracker. I adore the versatility, and appreciate the fine details. 

I seem to be running a bit behind tonight, just on the slow side I suppose, and I apologize for the slight delay. It was a decent day here for the most part, and a few things got done around the home that needed to be handled. Pesky RL loves to get in the way of online time ;) My gentle suggestion of the evening is to check on someone (friend, family member, SL, RL) to ensure they are doing okay during these trying times, even if they seem strong, since we all have extra stress one way or another lately. Still Down The Rabbit Hole

Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features more Evil Bunny group gifts from the Down The Rabbit Hole event, which is open for almost another week (until the 21st) and has a delightful Alice in Wonderland theme. There are discounted selections at every booth, as well as most offering a gift for anyone with the event's "I'm Evil!" group tag active. I have really been enjoying sharing these gifts with all of you, and I hope they have inspired you take your own trip down the rabbit hole :)

My first look shows the gift from Prism, their Girls Just Wanna Have Sun T Shirt by Jezzixa. It comes in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies, as well as standard fitmesh sizing for classic avatars. The name of the shirt is emblazoned on the front with sunbeams and hearts, creating a cheerful summery look. My jeans are from the Delizio marketplace gift that appear on my blog fairly often, a fatpack of colors in system/BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya and Omega. No wardrobe should be without these in my opinion, and you will see them again in the next couple of photos.

The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. has a fun gift for us too, their Sir Rabbit Tee with the elegantly dressed March hare depicted on the front. The gift includes standard mesh sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. 

Next we see a gift that is not quite the Alice in Wonderland theme, but more a nod to fairy tales in general. It is by v3 Tattoo Apparel and called Screw Prince Charming Sweatshirt, and that image on the front says "Screw Prince Charming, Give me a Bad Boy with Tattoos". Claim this group goodie and you'll receive sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, all ready to be paired with your favorite jeans or leggings. 

Emerald Couture has definitely chosen a theme-based gift with their EC Alice Outfit, albeit a grown up version :) The frilled bodysuit comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, and the Mary Jane style shoes with built in thigh-high socks are provided in the same sizing. The bows and lace bring a sweetness to the look, while they and the blue and white coloring are a nod to Alice herself.

For my final look of the evening, I chose the Eclectic Stars gift which is their charming Temperance - Steamy Wonderland gown. It is rather genius to combine two fandoms this way, Steampunk and Alice in Wonderland, and I am impressed to say the least :) The gown comes in eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes. 

Today I was reminded of how baffling electric wiring can be in a house...the handyman came to replace the light over the garage door (attached to the house, I am sitting directly above it right now) and needed the electricity for just that area turned off briefly. Nobody realized that 1) it included half the things in the room I am in right now but not all, and 2) that it did not get turned back on. *eyeroll* Then I discovered that my light didn't work anymore and the computer had no power either. Yet the tivo's light was on and the tv was working, so yep that is confusing. After some frantic digging in the breaker box, we realized what needed to be flipped and yay I had power again :) He also caulked the top of both windows in this room from the outside because of the wasp or hornet or whatever that was that was in here, and I am still lightheaded from the strong odor of caulk. Treats From Wonderland

Hiya everyone! Tonight we continue Down The Rabbit Hole, at the event of that name by Evil Bunny Productions. It is the place to be if you enjoy Alice in Wonderland, and/or discounted items from talented designers :) There are also lots of free group gifts for all members of the Evil Bunny Hunt group, so pop on that "I'm Evil!" group tag and click some gift bags while you visit. The selections are impressive and enchanting, showing each designer's personal interpretations and favorite aspects of the well-loved story. Many but not all of the gifts match the theme, so I am hoping that my sharing glimpses will help encourage you to visit and see what catches your eye in particular.

My first look of the evening is the Indigenous group gift called Mad Tea Party Dress. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and has a clever pattern of mugs (tea cups?) with the symbols of card suits on them. The style is a fun one, with the laced up back and fluttery skirt.

I must admit, I let out a soft gasp when I saw this gorgeous gift! Dore Papillon Boutique is offering their ::DPB:: Fern Lilysprite Outfit - Rainbow 1 as a group gift for the Evil Bunny group, for which I am very grateful. The top and skirt are each provided in Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, and are both adorned with drapes of iridescent fabric as well as pretty flowers with greenery. 

Two treats to see here, so let's start with the cropped top which is the gift from ZFG called ALICE KARMA. The image on the front reads "KARMA" (yes I know the R got buried in my cleavage, lol, sorry about that) with arrows above and below that make me think of what comes around goes around. The gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. As for my pants, those would be the versatile [Ari-Pari] Striped Velvet Leggings - DTRH which you can also claim for free with that group tag active. They come in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, with a 10 color HUD so you can change up the look with just a click. You will see these in the next couple of images too, since these leggings go well with so many different tops' colors and styles.

This gift from PopCorn certainly offers a nod to the event's theme, as it reads Down The Rabbit Hole on the front :) The shirt is called Mel Top - DTRH Gift, and comes in sizes for Alice, Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies. There is also a HUD included to turn materials on or off, a choice that will depend on your viewer settings and probably if you are wearing it somewhere it can pick up the ambient lighting. 

One more look this evening, I changed the [Ari-Pari] leggings to red to go with the wonderful themed gift from JR Wolf Creations. Their gift is called Card Tank, and has a red layer beneath the black which is imprinted with the drawing of the playing cards painting roses. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing.

It was a fairly nice day here, warm and moderately busy but things went smoothly. My neck is starting to feel a bit better from more regular chiropractic visits, and that should help the headaches become less frequent. Anyone with chronic pain of any sort can understand what a relief it is to have it reduced at all, I'm sure. Down The Rabbit Hole

Hiya everyone! Tonight we are going Down The Rabbit Hole, as that is the name of the event that has just opened and is waiting to delight you. Alice in Wonderland is one of those classic tales that has been immortalized in literature and film, with a wide range of interpretations to provide inspiration for the designers. The event is organized by Evil Bunny Productions (as in Evil Bunny Hunts) and they did a marvelous job decorating the location, and all of tonight's looks are group gifts for their free group. Your tag will say "I'm Evil!" which gave me a good chuckle, and almost all the displays have a gift bag with the event's name on it and a framed image of the gift next to it. Just click each of those to receive your gifts :) Some of these treats are themed while others are not, so even if you are not a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland you have an excellent chance of finding things you will enjoy. 

We start with the gift from [WitchCraft] which is their Rose Red Dress with bonus footwear. The dress is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, which matches up exactly with the sizes of the laced up stiletto boots. The strapless mini is trimmed in black with edging, belt/bow, and even a sheer black layer underneath the red floral fabric, coordinating just right with the shoes.

Next I slid into the Applique` Chic group gift called AC: Graphic Summer Dress Pink. This cutie has a bold color contrast between the white and hot pink, and the slender attached belt accentuates our natural curves beautifully. This gift includes standard mesh sizes as well as version for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies.

BLONDEQUEEN is offering a very flirty gift for the EBH group here, their Potion Dress Special Edition Red. In sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, this daring strapless mini has a very plunging navel-baring neckline and several crossed straps in the back. One can only assume that the top is held up by magic ;) I accessorized it with the gift from Atlantis Design called Roses Dress Choker, which comes in small and large rigged sizes. The charm in the center is a lovely red heart, and there is a red rose on each side of the black ribbon. Their exclusive discounted offer for the event is a dress designed to match the choker (or vice versa) so be sure to take a peek at that if you are interested.

Blue is another color strongly associated with the Alice in Wonderland story, thanks to the title character's signature clothing, and that probably inspired this +Uni Boutique+ gift. This particular Alice Dress is certainly more mature than the character though, as it is styled like two pointed panels connected at the top and loosely tied on each side at the waist. It is provided in Altamura, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizing.

My final look of the evening is a charming blue dress too, the .{AC}. Poppy - Winter Dress Sky gift from Aurora's Closet. While it has long sleeves and a high neck, the short fluttery skirt will keep you cool in this warm weather, not to mention showing off a whole lot of leg :) The gift includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, and has a luxurious plush texture that looks like it is begging to be touched.

It was a hot and humid day with scattered rain, so I was happy to be able to stay indoors near fans. Tomorrow I am not so lucky, as I do have an appointment to attend, but it should be a decent enough day regardless. I have a mask ready and plenty of hand sanitizer, and the people at this medical office are very nice and seem thorough trying to protect everyone.
