Hiya everyone! Tonight we have several selections from the Wash Cart Sale and their Sizzling Summer round, which is open until the 24th of July. Most carts with clothing have demos so you can try things on first, and there are accessories and home decor too. Another event I couldn't resist is the VANITY anniversary round, as they are celebrating their first anniversary with gifts from nearly every participating designer. The color looks a little purplish in my windlight settings, something like a soft lavender, and I am a big fan :)
So much to do the next few days, I really need more hours in a day or something. I know I will enjoy dinner at my parents', so I am looking forward to that tomorrow. Actually next weekend will be the busy one, as I have company coming for a few days, but I'm focusing on this weekend first of course. Tonight's post brings glad tidings, well it certainly brings news of wonderful bargains from The Wash Cart Sale and their Winter Wonderland round :) You have over a week left to visit, and I still have plenty of lovely $10L or $50L specials to show you from the dozens of carts there. I also have more Disgruntled Elf Hunt prizes to share, not just because it is a holiday about sharing but because they are fantastic and free when you find the hidden gift boxes at each store. My first look this evening features two of the selections from the -CroM- cart at The Wash, their Coryna - Christmas on the left and Shelena - Christmas on the right. The snowflakes and the color options are nods to the holiday, and the bare shoulders give a playful feeling. The cooking for Christmas Eve is done, the shopping for people I'll see in the next two days is complete and wrapped and ready to go...I am feeling festive and excited, yet a bit anxious about the traveling and a few family details. Holidays tend to have good and bad aspects, and all we can really do is try to focus on the pleasant parts I suppose :) I will be spending all of tomorrow day/evening with family, as well as Christmas Day, so I will not be blogging the next couple of days but would love to take this time to wish all of you who celebrate it a fantastic Christmas. It means the world to me to have this opportunity to blog and share things with my fellow Second Lifers, and I hope you all have a very happy holiday no matter what you celebrate...Yule, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or simply another week of this wild life we all share :) Many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Hair note of the night: This perky ponytail from Truth Hair is called Daphne, and can be found at this round of Uber. In addition to the Stylist HUD for various bangs options, there is a scarf that can be turned off an on with that HUD. There is a separate accessories HUD for its texture, several patterns and solid colors, so you can really get creative with this release. As always, I suggest playing around with the demo to make sure it is the right choice for you.

Hiya everyone! Tonight's post wound up with an unexpected theme of sorts, as I realized that I am wearing dresses in all of the photos. Some are short and some are longer gowns, so you probably wouldn't wear them all to the same exact type of event, but there are a great deal of possibilities here for whatever you may have planned in the near future. Some are from The Wash Cart Sale, which is still going strong with over a week remaining to pick up many terrific discounted items. The more formal gowns are from the current Sn@tch Fish 4 This fishing round, which is called Dancing in the Dark and has a gothic prom flavor in my mind. All you need is a 7 Seas fishing rod (not free but available at Sn@tch and can be used forever, very worthwhile investment) and a little patience, optional is a friend or several to swap your extra pieces with so you can all complete the sets faster. There are 22 pieces for this round: 6 mesh gowns, hair in 3 colors, gloves, stockings, shoes, makeup, earrings, necklace, and tiara. Xan was especially helpful for this round since the first couple of nights of the fishing round were my technology problem days, he is awesome for helping with the fishing and the tech issues simultaneously. Well, let's get dressed up!
First we visit the -CroM- cart at The Wash, where we can find several terrific offers for just $10L each including the Lorelei in Pink on the left above, and Aurora Gray to the right. The lovely Lorelai comes in fitmesh standard sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique sizes, and the alluring Aurora is provided in fitmesh standard sizes plus eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. Time to go Dancing in the Dark at Sn@tch :) We start with two of the dresses from this set, Sn@tch Aster Bustier Gown in Oxblood on the left, Mauve on the right. Each of these dresses are provided in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. The hair I am wearing is one of the three colors you can fish for this round, Sn@tch Starlet Hair in Auburn. I feel very elegant already, and we are just getting started exploring the goodies you can catch.
For this look I switched into the Starlet Hair in Black, and added the Sn@tch Gilded Earrings and Gilded Necklace, each of which are in Silver for this set. The dresses are Rose on the left and Teal on the right, the same beautiful Aster Bustier Gown in the same sizes. But as usual, there is more to see...
Do blondes have more fun? This look certainly is fun, with the Starlet Hair in Platinum being adorned by the Sn@tch Gilded Crown in Silver. It is a perfect fit for this style of course, but can probably suit other updos if you adjust it a bit. I also added the sleek Sn@tch Latex Gloves in Black, which are available in system layers and an Omega applier, topped with lace and bows. Another addition you probably noticed is the makeup, which is also ready to catch as a system layer and Omega applier, called Sn@tch Dancing in the Dark Makeup. It features a sultry smoky eye and rich red lips, just right for any of these beautiful gowns. Speaking of the gowns, I am wearing the Eggplant color on the left here, and the Black on the right, in case you want the full dark feeling for your gown. Personally I think my choice would depend on my mood, since I like so many of these shades for everyday wear and paired with black.
I thought my technology issues would stop at three, but I guess I was overly optimistic...one of the recent problems reared its ugly head again, so maybe I can just count it as part two of one of the originals. I think my avi needs to take a long tropical vacation for me, somewhere cheerful with fruity drinks and pretty sunsets. Tonight I will be showing you some outfits from a wide variety of sources, since variety is the spice of Second Life :) First we will visit the Wash Cart Sale again, since their Spring is in the Air themed round is full of so many more $10L bargains to discover. They are open until the 14th, so you have a week to explore and get your wardrobe ready for spring. Then we head to the DAZZLE event, where some fantastic designers offer exclusives and special sales. This month the theme is Dark Vintage Romance and Passion, and the selections certainly live up to that terrific theme. I even have a few hunt prizes to share, from the Free Dove Mini Hunt by Spyralle. They have several teal and purple giftwrapped boxes at Free Dove and their mainstore, tonight's look is assembled from the 3 found at the Spyralle mainstore. It is an exciting post with lots to see!

The lip prints and lace on the bodysuit are terrific touches, and I love how the daring boots are wrapped all the way up the thigh.
Next we visit DAZZLE and head for the AvaGirl display, where you will find this breathtaking Leila outfit for just $189L, exclusively at DAZZLE. It consists of system layers and appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink, plus the richly textured miniskirt and two bows for the neckline. This will definitely turn heads wherever you decide to wear it!
Another treat you can find at the AvaGirl display is their Lacey Red outfit (other colors offered as well) for $149L at DAZZLE. There is also a tiny rose that attaches to the back of the neck, right where the straps meet. Such an elegant and sensual look, you could save this for Valentine's Day or just surprise your sweetheart right away with this sheer delight.
For my last look of the evening, we head to Spyralle to find 3 boxes from their Free Dove mini hunt for February. I do have plenty more to share from the Womenstuff Hunt, so tonight I am showing you some of the terrific prizes I have discovered hiding in the $0L or $1L red t-shirts in this huge gridwide hunt. With 150 stores taking part, it's a good thing we have the entire month to track down all the prizes!
First up, we have a lovely versatile dress from FurtaCor, their Angel Dress. The dress itself is provided in a fitted classic size plus eBody, Hourglass, Maitreya, and Physique versions. It also includes a HUD with 9 texture options, three of which are shown above. I love the colors and the breezy style of this free hunt prize.

I have appreciated their jewelry at the Wash Cart Sales before too, so I knew I would be a fan of this prize as well.

My last look of the evening is a very fun one, courtesy of the hidden free t-shirt at Hardcore Clothing. Their flirty HC TOUCH OF RED outfit includes the top, shorts, and even the shoes in various sizes. The top comes in fitmesh XS to L and Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, while the shorts are Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, and Lara sizes, and the platform stilettos are provided in Slink, Maitreya, and Belleza versions. I love the look of colorblock with some hints of ombre, the coloring is very clever on this set.
