Hiya everyone! Tonight I have one more batch of gifts to share from the Tres Chic 5th anniversary round, which you have several days remaining to stop by and enjoy. They are celebrating with an abundance of gifts (free group tag needed) at nearly every display, so a wide variety among these treats. I had so much fun unpacking them all, and the hard part was narrowing down which ones to share with all of you. I tend to just choose randomly so I am not playing favorites, and am pleasantly surprised when I slip into each outfit to take the photos. I hope you have all been visiting these events for their anniversary rounds this month and helping them celebrate, they are all worth the teleport!
My first look is the gift from neve, which includes a versatile top and skirt with HUDs. Each comes in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing, and the top's HUD offers 4 colors plus 2 length choices. The HUD for the skirt has the same 4 color options, with buttons to hide the waist and reveal even more of the waist. The intricate styling on the back of the shirt really caught my eye, and I appreciate how many potential ways there are to wear this outfit.
I love the simplicity of the gift from fake society, called bella dress black. It is a sleek mini with spaghetti straps, in sizes for Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, and Slink bodies. I decided it would look even prettier with some accessories, so I added the PRECIOUS earrings and necklace from EMO-tions. Their gift brings the moon and stars to your earlobes and neck, in a dark silvery metal accentuating the intricate details.
Next I shimmied into my favorite marketplace gift, the jeans from Delizio in white which is one of several colors provided in system/BOM layers plus Maitreya and Omega appliers. They are a versatile way to share some tops, like the beautiful [Eternus] Chamomile Top Flower Dark I am wearing on the left. It comes in Legacy and Maitreya versions, and the blossoms look so pretty against the deep blue background on this tied crop top. On the right I am enjoying the gift from FashionNatic called Aria Top, which includes Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizing. The vibrant colors certainly add interest to this flirty little top, don't they?
Another playful top can be found in the present from Rosary, named Dearra. There are open and closed versions, each included to fit Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, and with a HUD offering 4 metals and 2 texture versions. As far as I can tell, the versions differ with the addition or subtraction of a shadow for the nipple, so I would suggest just trying both and seeing which you prefer :) The closed style is on the left with both huge safety pins clamped shut, while the open (seen on the right) has the lower one unpinned to dangle from just one side. Either one you wear will bring casual flair to your outfit with the distressed bandanna material and plenty of cleavage.
My final look this evening heads towards the formal side of fashion with the generous Secret Desert gift called Ara Gown. There are 4 attractive shades of neutral colors provided - Cocoa, Mika (seen on the right above), Ochre, and Sienna (left) which you will find in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes in this gift. The daringly high slit on the left thigh draws attention to the gathered waist, and let's not forget that deep neckline for extra beauty.
This weekend felt like it went pretty quickly for me, although in the USA it is a long weekend with tomorrow's Memorial Day holiday. I could hear fireworks outside earlier, not quite the right day but the people in my area just love any excuse to make noise it seems ;) Seriously, fireworks are popular around here and I just hope they are being careful because I do not want anyone to be hurt. It was my parents 51st wedding anniversary, as wild as that sounds, and they were unable to celebrate like they usually do (dinner at a nice restaurant) but will get takeout soon to make up for it. It really is amazing that they've spent so much time together and still love each other, and like each other, so I am proud of them and impressed by their accomplishment. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more Hair Fair gifts to show you, all of which in this post are from the Noirette sim. There are 3 sims filled with offerings and all purchases are between 15-100% donated to the Wigs for Kids charity. We are helping children who need wigs because of cancer or alopecia, and it can prevent bullying along with restoring the confidence of kids who are in the healing process. The designers have some wonderful offers, and there are several gifts for free or almost free :) If you want to contribute to the charity, there are donation kiosks scattered around the sims that you can pay any amount. The event is open until September 1st, so there is about a week remaining to stop by.
I am enjoying another dress from the -siss boom- lucky boards tonight, this one being their lovely Peppermints Pastel. The dress comes in sizes for Altamura Sofia, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, with a 5 color HUD for versatility. My hair here is one of the two gifts from Ade, their Hurrah Hairstyle full pack gift. It comes in rigged and unrigged versions, and includes a style switcher HUD with 4 options. The color HUDs have 12 choices each in blondes, browns, colored highlights, greyscales, mix, ombres, pastels, and reds. The other Ade gift is their Hurrah Glasses, which are unrigged and include a HUD with 10 colors each for the frames, arms, and lenses individually.
This adorable hairstyle is our gift from .EscalateD. called Castie - Rainbows. It includes two versions that each have two sections that can be tinted individually with the HUD, with V1 being top and bottom layers while V2 (on the right above) is left and right halves. The HUD has 40 amazing choices, brights and pastels galore. How cute are those bows in the back? ♥
EMO-tions has a great gift waiting for us, their *JAY* style in Black&White. The beautiful braids are pulled off the face, then cascade down the back. There is a color HUD with 8 monochromatic choices, and matching hairbases are provided as system layers plus appliers for Omega, Catwa, and Lelutka.
This gift from Alli&Ali is truly a stunner! It is called A&A Thisbe Hair Unicorn Colors V2, and has beautiful curls and tendrils. The included HUD lets you resize the hair, turn the brightness off and on, and choose from 4 styles: with or without bangs, each with or without the delicate flowers seen on the right. There are also 16 playful texture choices, ombres and mixtures of fantasy colors that are sure to delight. Maybe it's because of the cream color of the dress, but I feel like this would make a gorgeous wedding hairstyle especially if you are planning a fantasy type event. The delicate blossoms sure contribute to that feeling.
My final look of the evening comes from no.match and is called NO_PENNY HAIR FAIR GIFT. There are high LI and low LI versions, and the fatpack of color HUDs includes blacks, blondes, browns, and reds with 12 options each. There is also an accessory HUD with 12 choices including stripes and solids for that fun headband. There are even hairbases provided, system layers along with appliers for Catwa, Omega, Lelutka, and TMP.

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have gifts to share from another sim of the Hair Fair 2017, this time from the Brunette sim. As I have mentioned the past two nights, this wonderful event showcases new hairstyles from a wide range of designers, and each purchase has a designated percentage (15% to 100%, each labeled) donated to the Wigs for Kids charity. We get to help real life children in need, while updating our inventory a bit with a fresh hairstyle. There are donation kiosks if you prefer to donate directly instead of buying or want to throw in a little extra after a purchase. Some of the designers are thoughtfully offering free or $1L gifts for visitors, and that is what you will be seeing here tonight, like the last two posts. I have so much fun showing you these creative looks, and breaking out of my own hair rut! Now I can't very well show you these without wearing some clothing, LOL, so I picked out a dollarbie hunt prize to wear and will give all the juicy details at the end.
My first hair is our gift from ICONIC and is a fatpack with an array of HUDs for plenty of colors as well as a style changer. The color sets include Bombshells, Brunettes, Obsidians, Tonal, Vamps, and Total, and the style HUD offers two slightly different positions for the sides, one is pulled back from the ears and jawline a bit. There are also appliers for hairbases included for Catwa and Lelutka.
This fun burst of curls is our gift from EMO-tions called JOINY in dark brown, and you can see from both views that it has flexi for added movement. They have provided a hairbase for system heads, however I used the base from my GA.EG Barbara head's included HUD which worked out just right.
Sintiklia has a sleek bob as their gift for us, called Lida, in two different colors and each in Bento rigged, resize, and rigged versions. On the left is latteroots, on the right violetblack, and I have gone with the resize versions so a simple click let me enlarge them to fit my head.
For our final look of the evening, we have a very generous gift from Gorgeous Dolls which includes hair and nails with rings. The hair is ~GD~ Jo Fatpack and includes color HUDs called Brazilian Bundles (one is on the left), Natural w/roots (middle) and Sweet Glamour w/roots (right). The nails are called ~GD~ French Tips/Ringed (Baddie Claws) and there are sets for Slink Dynamic, Maitreya Bento, and Vista Bento included. Each set consists of the nails, delicate doll rings, and a HUD with 14 nail shades and 12 metal colors. In the inset I chose one of the few that is not a simple French style, and you can get a better idea of the shape and length of those curved claws. It is also high time I explained my versatile outfit :) It is the Beached Bunny 7 Hunt prize from Adri's King called Outfit Fable, and a single linden when you find the blue beach pail will get you this outfit in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, Maitreya, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, along with a HUD that offers 12 textures (solids and prints, as seen in tonight's various photos) and 4 choices for the jeans, each a great denim shade.
We are having a heat wave here and the sun setting did not cool things off much at all. However I do have a really exciting weekend planned so I'm in a very good mood :) My best friend of 20+ years is coming to visit on Saturday and attending two farmers' markets with me, and as a bonus another friend is staying the entire weekend so I will be very happily busy. I have one more sim of Hair Fair gifts to share, then I might take a brief break from blogging to be able to spend more time with them. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a few more treats to share from the Cosmopolitan event's 4th Anniversary, where many of the designers are offering gifts to their group members. The group is free to join, and they send notices with notecards filled with images of the fantastic items for sale each round, so it is a good group to be a part of. Last night I showed you a few of the gifts so this is our exciting conclusion.
My first look is comprised of two anniversary presents. The dress is from Elegance Boutique, their Gift Dress Eda in Pink which is included in standard mesh sizes. The color is so vivid, and I really enjoyed the flattering wraparound style. My necklace here is the Meva Cyoko Necklace in Black, their lovely gift to us, in regular, big breast, and flat breast sizes for optimal fit no matter what your shape is.
Various presents seen here as well, my stunning dress is from R.icelli and is called AUDRA Dress. Inside you will find standard mesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP versions, along with a texture HUD with 8 gorgeous choices. Next we have some impressive statement jewelry, our gift from EMO-tions which includes two sets of BAJA jewelry which each consist of earrings, necklace, and armband (bracelet) as seen here. I quite like the mixture of bold stones and delicate metalwork, and both color combinations are beautiful.
If you are looking for even more jewelry, Cosmopolitan is the right place...this is glimpse at just two of the 4 striking necklaces from Asteria inside their gift box. There are brown and red as shown, plus blue and yellow which seem to all have the pretty blue beads as their base.
More jewelry to be seen here, along with yet another of the many colors of that sexy R.icelli AUDRA dress! My necklace is our gift from AZOURY called Petrova Necklace in Blue. This is a great way to accessorize many different outfits, sometimes that added touch can make a huge difference. My bracelets are the Kunglers anniversary gift, which is actually two pairs of bracelets (silver as shown, and gold) each adorned with a single diamond stone. I do appreciate these gifts very much.
I thought you might enjoy a closer look at the eyes I am wearing tonight, as they are another Cosmopolitan anniversary gift. These are courtesy of AG. and called Soft Eyes in Green, provided in small, medium, and large system versions plus mesh and an Omega applier and even a HUD for the mesh versions. I like the gradient of dark to light, which made me think of cat eyes or the moon on a cloudy night.

A new month is upon us, and another weekend is nearly here :) It looks to be a good one here, some rainy weather off and on but I will have a houseguest for the holiday weekend (Labor Day for anyone not in the USA who reads this and wonders) so that will be a much welcomed addition. Hiya everyone! I braved the wilds of the Hair Fair 2016 this morning, and I did manage to pick up handfuls of generous gifts to show you. Lots of fun colors and styles, and it is always nice to see the donation kiosks getting good use and all those amazing hairstyles designated as donating a portion to Wigs for Kids. The Hair Fair is open until July 31st, and there are countless designers for every taste including many indicated on the website as offering male hair too. I'm always glad when the guys aren't left out :) Tonight I am showing you a few gifts from Backlot East, the sim called Platinum, and the event does cover several sims so that information could prove helpful.
First we have a very wearable color demo from Lelutka called Nova, which comes with all of their HUDs with 40 color options each. Those HUDs are called bauble, blonde, brown, cloud, gravity, naturals, and red, and I went with a fun fade on the left and the red I'd normally choose on the right. Those cascades of waves make this just a wonderful gift.
If you prefer a chic updo, pick up the gift at the Tukinowaguma display and you can claim this *TGW* Izumi with unrigged, rigged, and fitted versions. There are several HUDs included for choosing your color: 3 blondes, 3 browns, 2 colors, and 3 red/blacks, with fades and ombres galore. This is an elegant style with so much versatility in all those color choices, much appreciated of a gift.
Back to a more casual style, this is our gift from [Mello] called Beyond Stars, in their ALLTHECOLORS <3 pack. That is a great way to put it, and a stellar variety (yes that is a pun) of HUDs that look like constellations: Darks, Galaxies, Neutrals, Neutrals2LessShine, Pastel Magic, and Pales. As you can see, I was enjoying the fantasy selections quite a bit, and am in love with that mermaid-like one on the left :)
Sometimes we want an unusual look to stand out from the crowd, and this intriguing gift from .Shi definitely fits that bill. This is their Valiant unisex style, a fully loaded fatpack with color HUDs dblonde, dbrown, dips, lblonde, lbrown, mono, pastel, and reds. The style is really unique, and I noticed that other people have been eagerly blogging this gift as well. My jewelry is actually another gift at the Hair Fair, courtesy of EMO-tions, a lovely set called *VERONICA* including the necklace and earrings. With that deep burnished gold and the delicate pastel minty color of the pearls, these beauties can spice up any outfit.
One last peek for the evening, this is our gift from CHEVEUX and what a cute bob! This color seems to be specifically for the Hair Fair gift, and the style is simply numbered M081 which seems to be how they name their many creations. I used the resizer script so the wisps wouldn't be embedded in my cheeks, this is about 15% larger than default so this would be terrific on a youthful avi as well.
A few notes for tonight, let's start with Something very noticeable in that last photo particularly...my eyes. I am proud to present one of the two group gifts for the month from Inkheart, Tender Eyes in Cinnamon. I am wearing the large size in mesh, they are also available in system versions and other sizes included. The group is free to join and their eyes are always stunning. I finally picked up the WoW skins gift for July that was available for a couple of days already I believe. This is called Katty and I'm wearing the tan shade, several others are included plus Omega HUDs. They had a period of free group membership recently and honestly I am not sure if it's still going on, normally there is a fee to join but all prior group gifts are available. My dress tonight is another version of one I blogged recently from Lilbit Sass, a Midnight Mania prize called Jordan Shimmer in Bronze. This comes in several fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. There are 2 locations of Lilbit Sass and the group is free to join, there are boards and lucky chairs at each location along with other goodies.
Whew, what a whirlwind! After crashing at least a dozen times at the Hair Fair, I was hoping to have a peaceful day but wound up going out after all. RL is rather relentless that way ;) I have plans for each of the next 5 days, so lots going on but I have plenty more Hair Fair gifts to show you the next few days. Hiya everyone! I found out about a hunt later than I'd have liked to, further into its timeframe at least, so if you like what you see tonight I am afraid you'll have to hurry. The Eternal Hunt is a HUD based journey starting at Fallen Gods Inc, and you will be following clues and TPing where the HUD leads you when you find each infinity symbol (a glowing blue figure-8) across the grid. Find them all and your HUD will direct you to the location of all the prizes, which is secret and therefore not in my credits. It is an entertaining trip through many beautiful stores and sims, and the prizes range from the clothing you see below to home decor, jewelry, music boxes, even a home or two :) We only have until the 21st to complete this hunt, so on to the goodies!
First we have one of the gifts from Independent Objects, their Gothic Floral Dress. It includes the mesh gown in standard sizes, plus system layer stockings and even the matching boots for default avatar feet.
We have another gift from Independent Objects shown here, the name is *IO* Taluna Aura and it includes several sizes for the mesh skirt but just the one size of top. In the photo boxed in with the outfit, the top matched the skirt exactly, and while that isn't the case here I do like it this way :) For modesty I would definitely wear a tiny pair of undies though.
Animations Rising provided a very generous gift, several silks outfits for both males and females. Above is their Rising Silks for Her- Flora (Iris), comprised of various individual parts that mean you can choose the amount of coverage you prefer, including a system layer set of modesty undies which I am wearing above (they are green leaves). There is also another Flora set called Hibiscus that is very similar to this beauty.
I took a moment to enjoy the fresh SL air, and to show you an adorable swing from United InshCon. This is their hunt prize, *UI* Book Swing, and the parts are linked so you should rez them in edit mode to allow you to move both parts together to adjust the location to your liking. The swing part wouldn't be able to swing independently if they were fully linked I believe. There are a few different animations in the menu for males or females, and the book lover in me truly appreciates the idea of being surrounded by favorite literature while enjoying the great outdoors.
You will definitely need to click this one to see it better...even so, I think you will have to see this in person to fully appreciate all the details! Let's start from the top, my hair is from EMO-tions and is called *LOVE_WAR*. It includes the horns as a separate (and therefore optional) addition, plus there is a HUD to change the jewel colors on the horns along with the hair itself to various tones of black and white. Next, I'm sure you can't help but notice the beautiful skin :) That is our gift from Fallen Gods Inc, called Sidera Starborn, and I am showing the female PG version but there is also a more anatomically correct version in the female box plus a separate male (XY) version. There are several appliers included, such as Loud Mouth, Omega, Soul Mer UniEar, Slink, TMP body/face, and Slink nails for hands and feet so your fingernails are the same dusky blue as your skin instead of being a traditional 'flesh' color. Finally, I am wearing another of Animations Rising's silks gifts, their Mythic for Her (also comes in a for Him version) which has attachments for the special effects on the left, don't they suit the skin well? The hands provide sparkle, the feet are the smoky look, and the shooting stars are from the stomach attachment I believe. On the right I took those off to focus on the silks themselves, skin and hair.
Whew, that was quite the explanation! My nail note of the night is quite simple, the Slink default HUD in all photos but the last.
