Hiya everyone! Tonight is another trip along the Twisted hunt path, for their Spring 2019 round which lasts the entire month of March. The theme is Divine, and the color is Golden, which is why the cubes are a bright yellowy metallic hue. If you join the group, you can ask for hints, and reading over their website first is very helpful. Click the easels at any store you visit who has one, for information about special sales, gachas, and side hunts they may be offering. The designers really get into the spirit of this hunt, which makes it so enjoyable. Quite a few prizes involve wings, which inspired my post title tonight.
My first look is comprised of several different gifts found at Grey's Mind Maze, where there are a total of 5 gifts for the ladies and 1 for the men. The dress comes in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. The armwarmers (single size), wings, and necklace are in other cubes, and there is a headdress/mask not shown. I really appreciate the galaxy pattern, which looks beautiful against the golden cube texture.
..::Flairity::.. is offering a main prize and 5 side hunt prizes for us to find and appreciate. The main prize is their Divine Angel Dress & Shawl, with the dress in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, plus the shawl in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink fits. The side hunt goodies include the Divine Angel Ear Cuffs, Halo, Wings, Shoes (Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink Mid sizes) and a pair of earrings, which are not shown. I figured it was best to feature either the ear cuffs or the earrings but not both, so you aren't left wondering where one leaves off and the other begins :)
Maybe you were hoping for something more revealing, well the prize from Candy's Designs has got you (un)covered! This is their Itty Bitty Latex Bikini Heavenly, and includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. There is also a HUD provided with dozens of colors to choose from, so you can tint this to just about any color. Also part of the prize are the halo and wings you see here, which my windlight settings are making look especially luminous.
MI.CO has two gifts in separate cubes for you to find, one of which contains this dramatic Twisted Hunt Exclusive Gift. It comes in fitmesh standard sizes along with Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, and is a snowy white with an attached golden belt. You'll notice that in addition to an open back, there are revealing drapes over each hip.
The other prize from MI.CO is their Victoria Asymetric Dress 20 Colours, which as you can guess comes with a HUD that offers 20 choices to tint this lovely frock. The dress itself comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes for mesh bodies. The unique style is sure to turn heads wherever you wear it.
I have some busy days ahead, both in RL and SL, since the Wash Cart Sale is starting very soon and there are a few other exciting things I want to show you all. In the next 4 days I have 3 different appointments, oddly all of which will involve needles (blood draw, novocaine for a filling, and acupuncture) so not my favorite type of week but I'll get through it. Hiya everyone! Tonight I will be sharing prizes from the Medieval Fantasy Hunt XVIII which is themed Secrets of Moonlight. You will be looking for a silver moon (round disc) with touches of blue on it, and all you need to do is give each one a click to claim your free prizes. There are hints in hint givers on each store sign, or they can be found on the website with the locations to each stop. Be sure to have that website open and available while you're hunting, which you can do until the 28th of October when the hunt comes to a close.
My first look is from Grey's Mind Maze and is one of two separately hidden prizes here, one for the ladies and one for the gents. This is Grey's Moonlight in the Dark Female MFH18, and includes the gown with cape attached in standard mesh sizes plus the glimmering stole with resizer. You can wear the gown with or without the stole, which as you can see has an ethereal glow that really catches the eye.
This striking *MIRUS* Red Roses Dress is actually a separate top and skirt, each in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. They combine to create a full, flowing look for a special night out. Just find the moon and claim its secrets!
Feyline Fashions never skimps on details, and this prize called *FF* Althea Onyx is a wonderful example. The top and pants come in system layers plus Omega appliers to suit most mesh bodies, and the many other components include bracelets, a chest medallion, collar, necklace, upper arm left and right, belly button gem, veiled cape, body veils, skirt, and boots. Most of these have resize scripts built in, and can be adjusted as necessary. We can wear as many or as few of the accessories as we choose, just experiment and see what you prefer for the occasion. There is a male prize too, that has a terrific hunting look, so be sure to let the guys in your second life know about it.
Roped Passions has a pair of prizes too, this being the beautiful (RP) Moonlight Serenade Silks Purple - Ladies. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies, and has multiple panels held together by the simple attached belt. This makes me think of a romantic night in, snuggled by a fireplace or enjoying a private dance together.
For my final look of the evening, I visited Mishmash Fusion and searched high and low (subtle hint there) for their moon. It contains two prizes, male and female, and you can certainly guess that I am enjoying their female gift called ~*MF*~ Something True Gown - Moonlight. It comes in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, with an intriguing texture on the full skirt. The dark neutral color will enhance any jewelry you decide to wear with it, so feel free to get creative and make the look your own.
My first thought of what to tell you about my day is that there is something incredible about homemade soup on a chilly autumn day. I got two containers from the farmers market, and am practically fantasizing about eating them again after the generous sample I had earlier. Hiya everyone! Tonight we begin to explore the hardest gridwide hunt in SL, the biannual tradition that is the Twisted Hunt. Their Spring 2018 round runs throughout March with the theme of Atlantis, and our cubes are blue and gold so you can expect lots of aquatic beauty along our hunt path. I strongly suggest looking over their website so you can be prepared if this is your first adventure with the Twisted hunt, and I will sum it up by saying that it is extremely challenging but well worth the effort. The group (free to join) can be very useful, and when asked politely they will provide hints if available. There can be up to 10 visible decoys at each stop in addition to the cube that actually holds the prize/s, and if there is a Twisted easel at a store you'll definitely want to click it for the notecard it contains. Those sometimes offer hints, as well as info about side hunts, sales, gachas, and anything else hunt related. I am still slowly working my way through the hunt path, with Xan's invaluable help and support (he keeps me from getting too frustrated) and as with all hunts, I do recommend teamwork if possible as long as you avoid communicating in local chat and spoiling anything for anyone else who may prefer a solo effort.
My first look is our prize from :{MV}: called Poseidon Gown, and it has a plunging neckline with deep bare back, and ocean waves across the hem. The prize includes a standard fitted version plus sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique.
Roped Passions has this striking gown hiding in their twisted cube, along with a gift for the men, who are not excluded from this hunt by any means. This is the (RP) Sea Sorceress Outfit, in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. With the elegant keyhole back and the dramatic front slit, this barely needs any jewelry (simple earrings or a bracelet perhaps) to shine.
If the watery themes make you want to head for a beach or pool, be sure to pick up the prize at Arcadia first so you can wear this Halcyone Outfit. It consists of the sarong and top each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizes. The lace is rather sheer, so I would suggest a bikini bottom (or solid material panties) layered beneath for modesty, depending on where you are wearing it.
Another fun stop on the hunt path is Grey's Mind Maze, whose Mermaids Song to a Fairy outfit can be seen here. The top and shorts are each provided in standard mesh sizing, along with the lovely wings and a long prim skirt (not shown) in a paler color with a resize script built in. I really enjoyed the use of the cube's texture on the wings and belt here, and the little swirls on the shirt.
Since the Atlantis of our theme has its roots in Greek mythology, it is very fitting that Little 2 Large chose to offer this lovely Atlantis Toga Dress as their side hunt (maze) prize. The main prize located in the store itself is a set of ruins, and the maze can be reached by clicking the teleport pad outside the front door of the store. It took me quite a while to work my way through, but I am clearly glad I did so. The toga is provided in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. Be sure to check the lucky chairs and midnight manias upstairs for more Twisted goodies!
Well, today was the type of day that if you didn't need to go outside, it was best to just stay indoors and warm. We got about 6" of snow in my neighborhood, and the roads might not be cleared until Friday at this rate. Since I have plans for Friday, I have my fingers crossed that everything is fine by then. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some more So Blue Hunt prizes to show you, since there were so many that really caught my eye. To remind you about the hunt, it is a $1L gridwide hunt where you will be looking for a blue heart that reads So Blue and has lights around the outer edge of the heart. The theme is winter blues or "so lonely" anti-Valentines Day blues, with the vast majority of the prizes being blue in color. They certainly cheered me up, and I hope they brighten your day too.
Sometimes a furry friend (or feathered, scaly, etc.) is just what is needed to chase away the blues, like the sweet feline face and paws on this prize from Waffles. It is their Blue Ice Snow Cat Angelika LS Dress, and comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. As a hint in addition to the one on the website, I will add a general reminder that Waffles store has floors for mens and womens items as well as the landing area level, just use the teleporter pad on the floor to navigate.
This sexy number is our $1L hunt prize from COVETED! called Blue Jean for Mesh Bodies. It is included in Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, and will flatter your curves by wrapping them in denim and lace. That zipper is a terrific detail too. Just find the hidden blue heart to claim this bargain.
My next visit was to Grey's Mind Maze, an enchanting place to visit by the way, and I was delighted to find their heart which contains their So Blue? Pah! Dress in standard mesh sizes. It makes me long to be near the ocean, or gazing up at a starry night sky. Enjoy the vivid images on this lovely gown for just $1L when you locate that heart.
Frostbitten Designs has a striking blue dress with a really short hem, their So Blue Dress, tucked inside their heart waiting for you to find it. It includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, with a HUD that offers 6 textures to choose from. Disclosure, the HUD did not work for me, but occasionally HUDs get glitchy for me and things tend to be weird in SL on Tuesdays, so I will try again tonight.
For my final look of the evening, I went a bit more casual with a sassy twist :) The top I am wearing is actually a Free Dove gift that you can claim with their free group tag, from [DR] called Mini Top Heart Maitreya & Belleza II. The gift does include appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, and Omega, along with a system layer. You can probably guess that the pants would be the hunt prize then, and you'd be right. They are the Dark Inc. I'm so blue pants applier, just $1L when you locate their blue heart, in an Omega applier for any compatible mesh body to enjoy. The blue is subtle here, as accents rather than the main color, and I thought that was a fun touch.
It was a surprisingly nice day out, and tomorrow will be even warmer, so no winter blues here at the moment. I guess that means the hunt prizes worked ;) I was glad to be out to enjoy it, and I hope you're all having a terrific day/evening too. Many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
