SL23B Is Golden

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm sharing some SL23B gifts from the Golden region of Shop & Hop, one of my favorite events for finding new stores, longtime favored brands, and lots of discounts to make things budget-friendly. There are 24 regions (18 moderate and 6 adult) in our shopping area, with 20 stores apiece, for a total of 480 to explore and enjoy. That's why we have until the 19th of July, lol, as it is a lot to take in :) My advice is to bring friends to add to the fun, and use the FabFree spreadsheet that they've so kindly worked hard to create so you can ensure that you don't miss anything. I usually stick to the right, keep the gifts in folders by region, and make sure I grab landmarks for mainstores where possible if there is store credit as a gift that must be used at said mainstore.

My first look this evening is the lovely AlaFolie VERO Gift. This saucy dress has a lace inset and a diagonal ruffled hemline. There are Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Senra Jamie mesh body sizes included, as well as a HUD with 3 colors. You can apply the color of your choice to the entire dress first (as I did on the left) and then choose a different one for the trim/lace if you wish (right). I definitely appreciate the versatility :)

Another gift with several options is the Blue Blood - Lara Outfit I'm enjoying here. It consists of the top and skirt, each in black, blue, gray, green, purple, and red, all in Legacy, Perky, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizing. We even receive a HUD with 4 metals for the buttons. I'm wearing the red top and skirt on the left, but went with the blue top and green skirt on the right for fun :) The black lace trim is consistent on all pieces, and I love the bows where the straps connect to the top. 

Summer is certainly upon us, and the Jack Spoon: Sel Bikini set - white gift is a fantastic way to enjoy the warm weather. Our bikini top has bold 3D flowers on each cup, and the bikini bottom is wrapped in a snowy white sarong that is linked to it as one mesh piece. Both of these will fit Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies just right. The lace trim on the right side where the sarong is tied in place may be a subtle detail, but it certainly caught my eye in the best way.

So you've got plans that involve a beach or pool, but you want to crank up the sensuality even higher? Our [F.C.O.] Dreza Bikini Black & Red gift is here to fulfill that wish :) It includes the top, bottom, and chains, all in sizes to fit Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn bodies. Since the chains are separate they are optional, so we can wear this look a couple different ways which is always a plus. Red and black is a smoking hot color combo for any time of year too, even if it is a minimal amount of fabric ;)

One last look of the evening, we have the gorgeous Ghee - SL23B GIFT dress to tempt us. They have a gold sequined column dress for us, in Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Prima, Prima Petite, Reborn, Waifu, and Star body sizing. The black edging up top really shows off the gold even more, and what an appropriate region to find this gift in :) I feel like an award statue, LOL! Okay upon reflection (pun intended) I've decided that we all look even prettier than an award statue in this treat. Oscars don't have particularly stylish hair for one thing, and we get to play with makeup that they could only dream of.

Whew, have you ever found yourself arguing with AI? Sadly I can say that I have, as I share my blog posts on the Book of Faces and they have taken to notifying me that they can no longer recommend my page to new audiences. No reason given other than not conforming to community standards, and I do not think that any of my content is violent or highly sexual or anything that should be an issue. Eventually I realized that it's probably my #slfreebie and #slfreebies tags, as they mention content that people don't like such as scam giveaways. I promise these are not false advertising! Their technology (AI) keeps flagging me, and then that same tech keeps rejecting my appeals. I tried reasoning with their AI in the chat thingy on their support page, but I think you can guess how that went. I stopped using those hashtags but I think the damage is done, so I'll still post there but I would suggest checking my Social Media tag above and following me elsewhere too if you'd like :) Eventually they will probably decide to just close my FB page altogether, and if you're following me there I apologize in advance if you no longer see my content there. Otherwise I'm planning an outing tomorrow that has me stressed to the gills, so I am taking the evening off from blogging. I know it'll be okay, I just get very worked up ahead of time. Peace On Earth Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm very excited to share some prizes from the Peace On Earth 16 Hunt, which is a free gridwide hunt for globes containing our treats. Now I do mean a globe as in a model of the earth, so they are mostly blue because we've got so much water on the planet :) There are two ways to navigate the hunt - either use the website with its list of landmarks and hints, or pick up the hunt HUD at the headquarters and give it permission to teleport you. Then you can click the logos of each store to be whisked away to its region. It's entirely up to you; personally I used the HUD but had the website handy in case of any issues, but if you dislike having a HUD taking up room on your screen or distrust letting something TP you, the website is a simple and feasible option. I've loved this particular hunt since its beginning, and the participants have changed over the years but the care in organizing it is still quite obvious :) December keeps us so busy in SL (and usually RL) so the 39 stops here plus the HQ visit are a modest enough size for a hunt not to feel overwhelming. Enjoy!

My first look of the evening is our GoodVibes Holiday Forest Her prize, which starts out with the nighty in sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies. There are panties that fit Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies included, and the booties I'm wearing which have a resizer script built in. I just flattened my Lara X feet pose and they fit very nicely. If you feel like cuddling with your favorite guy in a matching look, there is also a HIS version for them to find :) They're both free and so well crafted, it is a great opportunity to coordinate cozily.

I'm a longtime fan of Park Place Home and their fashion branch called Park Place Casuals, so the [PP Casuals] Holly Sweater Dress makes me quite happy to share :) This bare shouldered bodycon knit dress has a high neck, 3/4 length sleeves, and falls to the lower mid thigh. The color made me think of cranberries, which do feature in so many dishes and desserts this time of year. Our prize includes sizing for eBody, Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies.

You can be sure to turn heads in this Just imagine...Eleonora's Christmas by JI prize! It is such a lovely gown with a bold front opening, decorated with snowflakes just like the waistband. We receive Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Peach, Prima, Prima Petite, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh body sizes. 

Next we check out the AlaFolie prize, their MARINOELLE dress with a few additional features. There are packages inside for Lara X, Petite x, Legacy, Perky, Prima Busty, and Prima Petite bodies, each of which contains the dress, bust fur, and 4 poppy add-ons numbered 0-3. I'm wearing just the dress on the left, but have added all our wonderful accessories on the right above :) I really like the way the white fur balances the white of the hem ruffles, and the fabric pattern of various colored glass stars really does suit this time of year so well.

Our final stop of the night is [Ari-Pari], to find their charming Jolie Sweater Dress prize. What could be more timely than a turtleneck sweater dress wtih long sleeves? :) It gives me the warm fuzzies just looking at it, and we get to select from 6 colors thanks to the enclosed HUD. The dress is provided in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. I really like the way the solid sleeves and neck match the back, all flattering the stripes of the front panel.

Whew, this weekend seemed longer than usual somehow which is odd for this busy time of year. The weather was mostly decent, and I enjoyed the farmers market on Saturday after it cleared up. Things in SL have kept me hopping, LOL, and yes that is a reference to Shop & Hop which I have barely gotten a third of the way through...Advent keeps distracting me ;) It's not a complaint, because I am genuinely grateful for the generosity of all the designers who are keeping me so busy. The hard work and the organization these things take is hard to imagine, and I'm too brain-foggy lately to accomplish anything like that. Hopping to Shop at Lavendar

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we return to the SL22B Shop&Hop event, specifically the Lavendar region. We have about a week and a half left to hop around to all 24 regions (20 moderate, 4 adult) and browse the discounted sales offers, and of course grab all the free gifts that await :) I recommend the FabFree spreadsheet of gifts to ensure that you don't miss anything, and you can sort it by type or store name or region with the tabs at the bottom. So much hard work went into that, as you can tell, just like decorating the regions and organizing it all, let alone the wonderful designers who are taking part and offering their best. The people are what makes SL special, and have for 22 exciting years now.

First I slipped into the vibrant AlaFolie CHARLOTTE gift dress, with an intricately embroidered pattern of multicolored flowers blossoming on a sunny yellow backdrop. It fits Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Senra Jamie mesh bodies. The blue trim on the neckline and spaghetti straps really brings out some of the flowers, don't you think?

Always eager for any excuse to feel pretty in pink, I changed into the lovely -Pixicat- Maret Dress Gift. The square neckline and flared sleeves give a romantic feeling, while the tiny floral pattern adds to that considerably :) This gift includes sizing for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Flat X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies.

Next we get to see the gorgeous B & R RESURRECTION - EIVOR Gift, a strapless mini dress whose neckline is notched with both sides curled down to draw the eye to the bust. There are Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Prima, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included. I can't decide if the color is giving deep ocean or lush forest, but I am definitely a fan either way :)

RosenRot had me at hello halter neckline with their Leo Gift, with all those sassy cutouts and peekaboo openings sealing the deal. Naturally I'm loving the floral pattern too, helping this dress feel both sexy and sweet. The dress is provided in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies.

For my final look of the night, I'm showing off my devilish side with our BACANAL - Alexa Devil Costume - c18ROSA gift. The main costume (bodysuit and tail) and boots are each provided in Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizing, along with unrigged wings and horns that we can adjust if necessary. The details here are so captivating, like the delicate chains on the bodysuit that match the ones draped on the horns, and call to mind the silvery rings on the wing joints. I feel mystical and impish in this one ;)

Today was slightly cooler with no storms, so it was certainly an improvement over the rest of the week. I've got a few more things to do before I get to packing for my day at my parents' while the AC unit is installed and duct work is replaced, with a goal of being there around 6:30AM. Sound fun? LOL, I know, it's not my ideal way to start a day either, and there will be morning rush hour traffic to add to my anxiety. Woohoo. Peace On Earth Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we get to explore some of the Peace On Earth Hunt 15, which is a classic SL tradition for me that makes me sentimental each year :) This is a free gridwide hunt in which we are looking for a globe, the earth mentioned in the name of the hunt. Just follow the hints on the website and give it a click to receive your prize for free. There are 36 stores in this round, and a few of them have hidden more than one globe for us to find which is even more reason to make use of those hints. The POE office has a HUD you can pick up for free to teleport you from place to place, but at least one stop had scripting turned off so the HUD couldn't work there, so I definitely recommend having the website handy still. 

My first stop was [Ari-Pari] to find their wonderful Nordic Knit Dress prize. On a chilly day like today, I love the snuggly look of a sweater dress! It fits Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, and has a very pretty knit snowflake texture. We can even change the color of that design, with 10 choices via HUD, so it is as versatile as it is charming :) If you're going somewhere extra cold, you can always layer some nice soft leggings beneath if you have a favorite pair in your inventory. 

If you have big holiday plans and want to turn heads, the GoodVibes Formal Winter Cardinal prize should certainly do the trick :) There are several parts to this, all of which fit Maitreya, Lara X, and Star mesh bodies - the gown, fur puffs, gloves, and heels. We also receive the sheer capri length leggings you see here as a BOM layer. The sleeves (fur puffs) look like they are threaded with tinsel and really do sparkle, and it's just a stunning overall look whether you wear all the components at once or just a few.

Next we see the lovely AlaFolie - CAPUCINE prize, which is where I switched over to my Lara X body from my Maitreya 5.3 for the remainder of this post. This beauty is a dress and bolero as separate pieces so you can wear the dress with or without the covering for your shoulders. Both of these come in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Prima Busty, and Prima Petite mesh bodies. The floral pattern looks great in both the darker yellow and the softer hue of the bolero and the large hem ruffles, don't you think?

One of the ways I feel most at peace is snuggled in bedtime clothing, so the ST - Delilah Set prize from Simple Terms really brings me the peace on earth :) This outfit has a nightshirt, panties, and socks that fit Maitreya, Lara X, and Star mesh bodies, with the socks being Maitreya and Star versions of flat and mid heights each. Then there is a bow and pair of antlers, so we can match the cute reindeer on our nightshirt. Even my cute new friend named Delilah the Teddy Deer is included! Her pink bow matches the nightie so we coordinated terrifically. Please excuse the blurry texture on her scarf, it was temporary as I was having one of those weird glitches where my textures fade in and out of focus. 

My final look of the evening is the comfy [Park Place Casuals] Vanessa Set - Pink prize tucked inside their globe. This pretty turtleneck dress with cropped vest comes in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Prima Busty, and Reborn sizing. It's all one piece so it is very easy to wear, and all I need to add is a pair of shoes :) I really like the details of the vest, gold buttons with matching chain across the upper back, and the way the vest is a darker shade like a deep berry. 

This should have been a relatively quiet day, yet it was more like the type that makes me want to double check my birth certificate to make sure that chaos isn't secretly my middle name. Groan. The windy weather knocked out power for a few hours this afternoon, so thank goodness for the generator and that it is restored now. We were going to look at holiday lights for my outing, a very specific nearby house that does it up huge each year, and somehow my housemate made a wrong turn (3 blocks from the house, not some unfamiliar locale) and we almost got lost. That helps the anxiety of course, heh, and several minutes later we did get to see the house but on the way home there was utter pandemonium on the street next to ours. It's a short one-block dead end circle, and at least a dozen police and fire vehicles were there with more loudly on the way with sirens blazing, but no signs of fire/smoke or damaged cars or any visible source of trouble. Despite checking local news, the nextdoor website, and our police department's social media, I've got no clue what happened. My best guess is a suspected gas leak that turned out to be a false alarm. Then I chatted with my mom a bit, and watched a rollercoaster of a hockey game that my team lost. Whew! So I hope you're all having a wonderful day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Still Shopping and Hopping

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is all about the gifts from the Lavendar region of SL21B Shop & Hop. As I've mentioned before, this is part of the 21st birthday of Second Life, the shopping part ;) But all 480 participating designers (24 regions, 4 of which are adult) are offering gifts as well as selling selected merchandise for discounted prices, so it is a must-visit for anyone interested in saving some lindens while finding high quality fashion, decor, etc. I'm always excited to dig into these events, and FabFree has thoughtfully put together a spreadsheet of links, gift images, and color coded them by type so you can find exactly what you need. The celebration has just a few more days left, so be sure to visit by the 21st!

My first look of the evening is the [MSN Design] Lina Dress [FATPACK], a generous gift indeed. This lovely halter mini dress is softly gathered in the front and has a flirty plunging neckline. It fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, and includes a HUD with 20 colors each in solid or subtle texture (looks sparkly!) as seen on the left above. It really looks terrific in any color you select in either texture :)

In the midst of a RL heatwave, all I can think about is how great it would feel to be in a nice soothing pool somewhere, so now my avi can enjoy the same in our *SM* Gift 21 SLBD from Second Moon. The bra and panties are each provided in Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Maitreya, Reborn, Juicy Boobs, and Waifu mesh body sizes, with lots of magic in the HUD :) That offers satin, metallic, and wet texturing, with solid/sheer/off options and laces choices 2/1/0 which affect the beads shown on the ends. By the way, if you turn the texture "off" it leaves behind a glowy tan line instead of any fabric, very sexy! If I recall correctly, I'm wearing it as solid satin on the left and sheer wet fabric to the right.

Since I enjoy mixing and matching, I kept the bottoms of the Second Moon bikini on and added a different top - the EVIE - Tender Crop Top - GIFT. This flirty little number has sizes for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included, as well as a HUD with 30 colors each for the top and the strings. I chose a couple of hues that mimicked the bikini bottom a bit on the left, then went rogue on the right, LOL. Since this will pair beautifully with your favorite jeans, shorts, pants, or skirts, you can easily match it to anything you want.

The .:FlowerDreams:. Lore Dress is a beautiful nod to the store name with its myriad of floral patterns. There are 12 via HUD to choose from, as well as 12 coordinating colors for the chain belt. That fun belt and the dress itself are each designed to fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, and Reborn bodies. The dress looks just as pretty without the belt if you prefer, although I personally enjoy having the edgy double row of chain links in a slightly contrasting hue.

My final look tonight is the AlaFolie - CELESTE gift, which contains a pair of full-length dresses in bold colors. The noir and rouge (black and red, both seen above) versions each come in sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Senra Jamie mesh bodies. That last body intrigues me as I've never tried it on yet, but it is in all of our inventories in the library section automatically so one of these days I really need to give it a whirl :) Both colors have a golden yellow polka dot pattern, and the flowing style is a nice choice for a formal event in the hot weather. We can easily dress this up or down with the jewelry we select, and even the hairstyle we wear can make it look more fancy or casual.

It was quite a day, more so than I anticipated actually. I went to the primary care doctor for the 3rd time ever so far, and I asked if she thought we should switch me to a different medication since the first try isn't sitting well with me. She agreed and prescribed something else, so when the pharmacy has that ready in a few days (delays, sigh) I'll be immediately switching to that. The heat was just awful, and I had a fair bit of anxiety from that as much as being in the car. Once I got home, I seemed to lose any sense of bravado from being 'in public' and basically fell apart. There were many tears and much frustration, but I am feeling a bit better emotionally tonight :) The heat is still getting to me, and the next two days are going to be even hotter so that is just something I've got to figure out how to deal with for now. I urge everyone in the hotter areas of the world right now to check on friends and neighbors who might not be coping with the temperatures as well as we'd like to see. If they lose power or their air conditioner/fans aren't working, it could really be dangerous for them. Not trying to worry anyone, just want to spread a little message of caring and reminding you to look out for each other ♥. Party at Bellisseria

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting Bellisseria, the continent where premium Linden homes are located, for their 5th anniversary party. There are gifts galore with no group tag required, mostly home and garden or decor type treats but there are some clothing and accessories too :) There are even special KittyCats breedable pets for free, although I was unable to claim my pair due to a weird glitch but Xan got his so he can put them out at our house if he wants. I am a premium member and have a home in this continent, so it's neat to see the celebration of their 5 years with the newer styled houses being released from time to time. I guess it won't surprise you that I'm focused on the fashions tonight! The party lasts until the end of the month.

The style is fascinating, with wrap front and single sheer lacy short sleeve! There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies included. The pattern on the midriff and skirt reminds me of brushstrokes, very elegant.

Another don't miss gift is the AlaFolie - VERONIQUE (Bellisseria) dress. The top and skirt each come in standard mesh sizing as well as Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, Senra Jamie, Slink, and Tonic Fine versions. Next I slipped into the dreamy [hh] Joelle Dress which is our generous gift from Hilly Haalan. With fluttery sleeves and soft ruffled hemline, it looks great in any of the color combinations available via HUD :) That handy addition has 25 textures each for the front, back, and trim of the dress, which fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn bodies. I did a lot of mixing and matching here, but we can just as easily go with all one fabric for a sleek look.

Whew, weekends can get so weird sometimes. I had my therapy session this afternoon, and have mostly been hiding/hanging out up here in my computer room to avoid the beer-soaked chaos taking place downstairs. We were all supposed to watch the eclipse together, but somehow plans changed several times since then and I have no clue what's happening tomorrow now. I Love Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is packed with gifts from the Valentine Shop & Hop event, all found on the Lupine region which is one of 14 fully stocked regions to explore this round. We have until the 19th to shop exclusive offers and discounts while picking up some free gifts, so be sure and make time for it :) Even if you're not the mushy type, not everything here is themed so you can pick and choose whatever matches your mood. Interestingly there were so many Lara X sized gifts on this sim/region even compared to the Maitreya Lara 5.3 sizes that I wound up switching over to Lara X for the first time in blog photos. I used the same shape I wear for my Lara 5.3 and literally just changed bodies, easy and I do have saved outfits with each so I am very excited to wear the new body. I've mentioned it and shared gifts that contained that size among others, but it is fun to actually show it off too.

My first look of the evening is the charming Faida - Qea Valentine gift. This soft sweater dress has short sleeves and short hem, with an argyle or diamond pattern on the bodice. There are Khara, Kupra, Lara X, Lara X Flat, Lara X Petite, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes provided. The colors are suitable for Valentine romance, but certainly not limited to it, so handy for everyone who enjoys the color pink :)

Next I slipped into the [MSN Design] gift called Zara Outfit [FATPACK]. Its top and skirt each fit Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, and we also receive a HUD with 30 colors each for top and skirt with 5 metals for the chains on the left hip. As you can see, the top has a lacy back and the equally sexy skirt is slit all the way up to the left hip, where the pretty chains are draped. 

We go from revealing to covered up and cozy with the !APHORISM! - Zoe Winter Coat gift :) The coat is layered atop a turtleneck sweater, with a necklace built in as well for a very well thought out look. It comes in sizing for Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh bodies, along with a HUD offering 10 colors for our sweater, 3 for the fur, and 2 for the necklace with a show/hide option for the jewelry. Such a great look, and the gift goes very well with my favorite Delizio jeans which are a marketplace freebie that I find myself reaching for here quite often. 

I definitely feel like going dancing in our AlaFolie MADNESS gift! The strapless sweetheart neckline and hem are trimmed in ruffled layers, and the main dress has fantastic floral patterns for us :) There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Senra Jamie each for dress and panties, plus a HUD with 4 choices each for dress and trim. The panties seem to change with the trim buttons. Where will you wear this beauty?

My final look this evening is a full outfit from BlueMoon enterprise called BMe .:ZUE:. Gift. The oversized sweater and denim skirt each fit Lara X and Senra Jamie mesh bodies, while the tie dye sneakers are unrigged to be worn on any flat feet. Just in case you haven't heard about it, the Senra Jamie body is provided as part of the SL default Library (scroll down in your inventory to the bottom) to help new residents become familiar with mesh bodies. They include a head and body, and I believe are BOM compatible automatically. I did notice several designers at Shop & Hop offering gifts and sales items that are compatible with this body, which should be quite helpful :) Okay so this gift appealed to my love of denim and fun colors, and casual looks that work well for my habit of wandering about the grid seeking stores that are new to me, or hunting for prizes in mostly familiar stores. Time spent with Xan is mostly at our home so I don't need to be formally clad their either, or we check out places that appeal to us from the destination guide which generally means casual wear too. 

It was a decent day with chilly but clear weather, and I had a small outing which went okay-ish. I expect to go out again tomorrow too, as I am supposed to do a little each day. Plans in my life tend to be very fluid though, lol, whether I want them to be or not ;) I intend to alternate between Shop & Hop and some other hunts and events, as February brought plenty of new rounds of both types. More Peace on Earth

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have several more Peace On Earth Hunt prizes to share, all of which are free for everyone who tracks down the globes (the 'earth' in peace on earth) in each participating store. There are 42 stores on the hunt path for their 14th year, and I am grateful to the newest director who has resurrected a classic seasonal hunt that brings back fondest memories for me. Their website will guide you if you can have it available while you hunt, but most stores have their hint on the hunt sign (either hovertext or by clicking that globe) and they all have the landmark to the next store inside the folder that the prize globe delivers. 

My first look this evening is the intriguing AlaFolie - EMMY PoisFleur hunt prize. This long gown comes in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, Physique, Slink Petite, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Mini mesh bodies. The black corseted midriff matches the trim and the ribbons wound around the mermaid skirt, while contrasting the floral pattern just right :) You certainly won't feel like a wallflower in this beauty!

Next I found the globe at [Park Place Casuals] so I could claim their cozy Bekah Jersey Dress - Aubergine. The high necked knit dress is included in standard mesh sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. The deep purple shade is beautiful, and handy if you are tired of red and green this time of year ;) Surprisingly I am not at that point yet, and am happily listening to Christmas music while blogging.

I hadn't seen Prism Designs in any hunts lately, so it was a pleasant surprise to visit to seek out their globe :) It rewarded me with the Jezzixa Cazalet for Prism Designs - Nia Skirt Set seen here, a blouse and skirt that each fit Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Hourglass Petite, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, and there is a standard fitted size for each that should work with classic avatars. We even receive a HUD with the two colors shown for our skirt, green or red, both of which match the festive trim on the bodice of our square necked blouse. 

Ink Blots usually does provided two gifts inside each hunt prize, male and female fashions, so I wasn't surprised but still very grateful for their POE14 Female Gift (and the male for Xan since he hunted with me). The ruffled blouse and asymmetrical hemmed skirt each come in classic M and fitmesh M for classic avatars, plus sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. The plaid almost made me think kilt, but not with that diagonal hemline ;) I like that they are separates, so if you ever want to pair either piece with anything else in your inventory, you have that option.

My final look of the evening is the ~MystRie~ First Snow Gown/Cloak prize. The gown can be worn alone or with the fur trimmed cloak, each of which are provided in a fitmesh M size as well as eBody Reborn, Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. The white-on-white gives the snowflakes a gorgeous embossed feeling, and if your hands are still a bit chilly you can also add the fur handwarmer with a built in pose as shown. I felt like either Cinderella or a winter bride in this amazing prize :)

Wow, I keep marveling at how fast the time is flying towards the holidays! It felt like the month just started a few days ago, yet here we are less than a week from Christmas. Next thing we know, we'll be having to remember to put 24 instead of 23 for the year, and I'm giggling because I know that one takes me a while to adjust to. It was a quiet day here and I am not sure what tomorrow holds, perhaps a small outing, but the weather has been crappy so I'm not much looking forward to being out in the cold. I've been dealing with SL login issues on my main account, but my alt can still get in, so it isn't a computer or internet problem. It's been at least a week, off and on, but this morning I figured out I can login at locations other than my 'home' (rented skybox and yes the rent is paid up) without trouble, so I've filed a support ticket but don't expect a speedy reply due to the holidays. Honestly don't know what their usual turnaround time is for those, and I'm afraid to ask anyone :P  Well at least I've got alternatives, even if it's a pain in the bum. Time For Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's finally time to take a peek at some of the many gifts awaiting all of us at the Holiday Shop & Hop 2023, with 16 regions filled with designers' displays that offer discounted sales items along with generous gifts. I'm focusing on the Chickory region's gifts tonight, simply because it is easiest for me to keep them sorted by region and do one at a time instead of trying to send you to a bunch of landmarks all at once ;) It took me a while just to get there this year with the start of Advent and all the usual monthly things, so I'm relieved to be able to share these wonderful presents that are meant to brighten our holidays. I definitely find myself more in the spirit of the season after visiting :)

Starting this evening off, we have 2 gifts from [Pixel Doll] - their Emilie Set 01 on the left, and Emilie Set 02 on the right. Both include the dress and panties to fit Legacy/Boobs/Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn/Juicy bodies, plus a matching hat with resize script on touch. The strapless dress is loosely tied in the front and on each hip, and the hat is like a old fashioned sleeping cap that drapes down with a poof at the tip. The gingerbread pattern on both is just precious, and looks great on both background colors :) 

For a real showstopper of a look to wear at a fancy seasonal gathering, be sure to visit the Moon Amore display and grab their free Santa's Helper Dress // GIFT. It is beautifully decorated with 3D ornaments just like a tree, with golden accents around our baubles ;) This extra full skirted dress comes in sizes for eBody, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies.

::{Sofia}:: is offering the gorgeous Sae-byeok Gown Dress, Cherry as its gift for the event, and I am immensely grateful for it. The cleverly styled gown has a single long sleeve to contrast with the bare left shoulder above the hip-high slit on the same side, in sizes for Freya, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. The gift also includes matching earrings, rings for each hand (not shown), and an accessory that is the lovely flower atop the leg slit's opening. That long flowing skirt looks so elegant satin, don't you think?

Tis the season for red, so I next combined two gifts for one red hot look! The top is our BONNICCI - Ivonne Top - Red treat, a delicious little strapless bra top with a lace ruffle in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. It pairs remarkably well with the (*<*) 1313 Natasha Leggings - Festive gift from 1313 Mockingbird Lane. These snug leggings are slit from waistband to ankle with sheer golden lace in between, to match the gold polka dots just right :) This gift is provided in eBody Reborn, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizing. 

Our final look of the evening is the beautiful AlaFolie - RED LILY gift. The wonderful dress has long sheer sleeves, sweetheart neckline, and frilly skirt that comes almost to the knee for a fairly modest (at least by SL standards) appearance that I find quite endearing. It comes in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Prima Busty, and Prima Petite sizes, with panties that resemble bloomers in the same sizes. There is also a system/BOM layer "culotte rouge" which is a pair of red bikini panties that you can wear instead of or with the mesh panties. As always in SL, it is all up to you how you choose to wear your new outfit :) 

I had a busy but enjoyable day, and dinner at my parents' was pretty nice. I had to laugh when I mentioned that my haircut appointment was Tuesday, and they both went, "you got your hair cut??" with looks of blank confusion. I got like 6 inches lopped off, LOL, it's not like I got a half inch trim and then got mad (I was not upset at all) that nobody noticed. There are countless memes that could explain how all of us felt. There was a brief discussion of holiday plans, and we decided on a single batch of crab cakes rather than double for Xmas Eve, and I just have to keep my fingers crossed that it's enough.
