Je Suis Tres Chic

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is full of wonderful gifts from the Tres Chic event and their 9th anniversary round. We know how to celebrate these in SL, right? Join their free group, get your Je suis Tres Chic group tag, and click any gift you can find :) They are in a wide range of boxes with some being just the word "gift" or even a vendor photo like what's for sale, so you may need to examine each display pretty carefully. Of course, that shouldn't be a problem as you'll also see plenty of tempting offers for sale, from a truly talented group of designers who always impress me :) The round just opened so it might be slightly crowded but you should be able to get in.

My first look of the night is the -LD- Livia Dress/LegBand Fatpack gift from Little Diamond. Their dress has a diagonal hemline that shows off the legband if we wish to add it, and they each fit eBody, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Waifu mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with 10 textures each for the dress, band, and zeep which turns out to be the zipper on the band :) Have fun experimenting with the HUD like I did!

I also claimed a beautiful gift from [RUNWAY] called POEMA DRESS .EMERALD. How can I possibly resist a strapless peplum ballgown with full skirt and mermaid shaping? This lovely gift includes sizing for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies.

Two generous gifts can be seen here, so let's start from the top. That would be the rvn - Aya's turtleneck - black treat, a cropped sleeveless turtleneck with open sides that are tied loosely in place with long loopy bows. We receive Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Mesh Body Classic, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. It goes really well with the Vanilla Bae - Tatjana Skirt (PG) gift, don't you think? This cutie comes in Lara X, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes, with a HUD offering 3 colors for the skirt and 7 for the metals. That would be the zigzag clip on the left side, holding it in place above a flirty opening. It feels like a sarong, like we could wear it over a swimsuit for a quick beach jaunt.

Bodysuits can be really irresistible, like this :Dernier: "Andrea" Bodysuit - FATPACK gift :) There are Erika, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes included, as well as a HUD with 15 colors to choose from. 3 of those are exclusive to the fatpack, making this a special bonus to an already lovely gift. The HUD also allows us to adjust the shine.

For my final look this evening, I'm enjoying the flirty and fun Kaithleen's Camilla Tank Dress - Green. The unpacking HUD offers all sorts of sizes - Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, eBody Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy Boobs mesh bodies. Then there's a handy HUD with 20 colors apiece for the lining, center, and lining again which means we can change the hues of the two layers of trim at the edges, and the center lining down the back :) You know I'm gonna have lots of fun playing with this HUD, as I do all too often. It's a wonder I don't crash more often...lol...

So many companies seem to have the motto of "if it isn't broken, we can fix that", meaning they tamper with things that people are already successfully using on a regular basis and making them worse. Why do I mention this now? Well, that's what took me so long tonight to edit (layer and add text to) my photos, because Photoshop updated and borked my fonts. The kerning made it look like there was an entire space between each letter, and they literally lost my chosen fault so it defaulted to Arial. Since they don't call it kerning, I had to dig into all sorts of settings and help pages before accidentally fixing it, lol, and now I need to find another font that I actually like. If my settings don't hold when I use it next, I just might scream again. Otherwise it was a quiet day, and I am glad there are more gifts from this event to share tomorrow :) I hope you're all having a pleasant day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

FLF-O-Ween Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are heading to the FLF-O-Ween event, brought to us by Fifty Linden Fridays. That means a bevy of $50L bargains at every display from many amazing designers, and nearly all of them have a generous group gift for us. To claim these, simply join the Fifty Linden Fridays group (free to join) and click the pumpkins you see which are either orange, green, or purple. It's like trick or treating :) Their weekly sales are already terrific, and anytime they do an event like this it's always a pleasure to visit.

For my first look of the evening, I combined two sweet prizes :) The top is the Midoa - Beia Black Top, a single strap tank top that fits eBody Reborn, Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The simple solid black color is very versatile, so it works well with the _CandyDoll_Malice Pants GIFT. These lace trimmed shorts are decorated with ghosts who are ready for Halloween with costumes and pumpkin buckets. It includes sizes for Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. 

Here I kept the CandyDoll shorts on, but changed into the charming MARU / "Elena" Bandeau / Fatpack gift. This sheer tube top has two slender strings that tie to hold it in place, with two bows in the back and one in the front. There are Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes included, with a wonderful 20 color HUD so you can change up the look.

Entice is offering a delightful sweater dress called Bye Bye Love - Grey as their FLF-O-Ween group gift. It has a heathered texture and a playful crossed bodice, and it comes in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies. I think it will be a cozy choice for this time of year, don't you? We can always layer some leggings under it for those extra chilly days and evenings.

There are several gifts that are separates, either a top or a bottom, so we can mix and match things to suit our personal tastes. For this look I chose the *Vanilla Bae* Tatiana Top - Spider Print FLF Gift to start out. It is provided in PG and adult versions (the adult versions have a 3 step stripping menu) each to fit Belleza Gen X Classic, Belleza Gen X Curvy, eBody Reborn, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. There is also a metals HUD with 7 colors, so you can adjust that aspect too. As for the adorable skirt, that is the gift from .Safira. called Vany Skirt Red. This pretty miniskirt has layers of ruffles and laced up sides, in sizes for Legacy and Maitreya bodies. The provided HUD offers 18 colors for the laces, 8 for the metal, and 18 for the built in panties as well as an "off" option for said panties. I felt like these gifts have a lot in common with the modest or sexy options of each :)

My final look of the evening is a spooky treat from (Milk Motion), their Skeleton dress-purple. It comes in standard mesh sizes as well as a fitted version for classic avatars, and a Maitreya version with autohide scripting. The waist is cinched with an opening that reveals a spine and what I think are glowing gemstones, but at first glance made me think Christmas lights ;) There is a HUD included with 3 color choices each for the corset and the inner lining that is where the gems are. This is an intriguing style combining beauty and spookiness.

Flirty in a Flash

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some limited time offers to share, one of which is a Black Friday related hunt that is just until the 29th at Vanilla Bae. They are celebrating their holiday sale with 10 free prizes available to all, no group needed, hiding in assorted Christmas tree shaped cookies. The icing color and design varies, and this is a very tricky hunt since the store is rather large and they are tucked into some clever hiding spots. They are very well worth the effort though, with PG and Strip Me items included in the fashionable prizes. For some added sex appeal we are also taking a look at the Saturday Sale offering from Entice, who are also having a Black Friday sale of 50% off their whole store until the 29th. We are definitely going to save lots of money this weekend to look incredibly sexy.

My first look combines two free hunt prizes in the same ravishing red color. The dress is the *Vanilla Bae* Laverna Dress which is a PG version (no strip script) that is provided in sizes for eBody Reborn, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. There is also a panty liner in the same sizes for a touch of modesty. How fun is that side opening on the left, tied loosely with a long bow? As for my footwear, that would be our *Vanilla Bae* Angelique OTK Heels prize. These over-the-knee boots are completely fishnet except the playful fringe at the top, and fit Freya, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. There is a HUD included with 9 sole colors to choose from in case you want to customize the look a bit. 

The *Vanilla Bae* Dawn Dress (Adult) prize comes in Legacy and Maitreya mesh body sizes, and includes a very special Strip Me script that you can set to private or public, or indicate a master. When clicked, the dress offers whoever you authorize to strip the dress in 6 stages, starting with the way the neckline is pulled slightly to one side on the right above. The next step would be the other side of the neckline, then the left side fully exposing one breast...I think you can get the idea from there :) The green is a nice choice for Christmas season, but certainly is not limited to any particular time of year. 

I was also fortunate enough to find the cookie that contains the *Vanilla Bae* Savannah Dress, a PG beauty that does not contain a stripping script but whose styling is flirtatious all on its own. The wrap style draws the eye to our curves, and the red shade in addition to the shape made me think of Jessica Rabbit only as a mini dress. Two more prizes make an appearance here, starting with the *Vanilla Bae* Opal Crop Sweater. I truly enjoyed my small family Thanksgiving, especially getting to know my younger cousin's wife a little better. It was only the second time I've met her, and we got to chat one on one which we had not before. She is a warm and friendly person who clearly loves my cousin, and that makes me extremely happy. I have company for the weekend now, and will be having a friendsgiving type meal tomorrow evening with them which I am very looking forward to ♥. Happy Anniversary FaMESHed

Hiya everyone! Tonight we get to help FaMESHed celebrate their 8th anniversary, which is an impressive accomplishment for any event in SL. Their designers are known for creating original mesh products, whether clothing or jewelry or home decor to name just a few categories. How do we celebrate anniversaries in SL? Well that's easy enough, free group gifts from nearly all of the designers in addition to the usual multitude of special selections for purchase. Just join their free group, and with that tag active you can click any of the white gift boxes tied with teal ribbon at each display to claim their present. Unpacking all of these treats was like a holiday or birthday, maybe both combined! The event is open until the 27th of May, so if you already have your whole SL weekend planned do not worry, there is plenty of time.

This dress definitely caught my eye with its unique styling and gorgeous emerald green color. It is the gift from Valentina E. called Demi Dress Green, and has been created for the Maitreya mesh body. There are two zippers, a tiny one in the back and a wild diagonal across the skirt, beneath the single collared side and peaked strapless half. This is sure to turn heads wherever you go!

Time to get flirty with the gift from *Vanilla Bae*, their Yves Dress - Mini Ombre Pack. Inside you will find 3 versions of the dress (PG, Adult, and Off Shoulder) each in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing. There is also a HUD with 3 colors for our ombre, two seen above plus a pretty green. The adult and off-shoulder versions have "strip me" scripting, so you or someone you give permission to can click the dress and use the popup menu to reveal your body in three stages. The adult bares one breast then both breasts before removing the dress completely, while the shoulder baring one slips off one shoulder, both shoulders (as on the right above) then totally removed. The PG version does not contain a strip script at all. There are notecards included for you to read the instructions in case you forget by the time you claim this, so no worries.

[ LsR ] has a terrific treat for us too, their Sexy Isobel Suit 3. It consists of the shirt and skirt each in two versions, all sized for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. There is also a HUD for the buttons with 42 colors to choose from, like the pink seen on the right above to bring out the pink pattern of the skirt, and bright white on the right for added visibility. The styles are loaded with sex appeal, from the barely closed sweater to the extra short skirt with low waist and slit on the thigh.

Next I slipped into one of my favorite pairs of jeans from Delizio, the white pair from their marketplace gift that includes several colors in system/BOM layers, Maitreya appliers, and Omega appliers. They needed a top of course, and the FaMESHed gifts provided :) This is the !APHORISM! group gift called Joonie Top Lavender (Ltd Ed), and it comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies. There is also a HUD to choose from the plain or patterned textures, both of which you can see above. They are each charming, and would look terrific with a skirt as well as your favorite pants.

For my final look this evening, I chose the -Pixicat- Tony Cardigan (Tan) to wear with my Delizio jeans. There is a top included too so you can wear the cardigan with or without that added layer, and both top and cardigan are provided in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing with a HUD to tint the top either black or white. The wide neckline of the cardigan draws attention both to the cleavage and upward to our neck, so I decided to show off an accessory :) The choker is the [Aleutia] Hayden Choker Fatpack, a leather band with a slender strip of tartan fabric affixed to it. The HUD provided offers 10 tartan choices plus 6 leather colors and 2 metals, so you can mix things up to match or contrast anything you wish to wear it with. I went very matchy-matchy on the right, LOL, after being playful with pinks and purples on the left. I can see this being a very useful addition to any wardrobe.

It was an enjoyable day here, with the exception of the rainy weather most of the evening, but I did have dinner at my parents' as usual for a Friday and I showed my mom the Animal Crossing game. She can see why it is so popular with people who are stuck at home, and asked lots of curious questions which I happily answered. My dad even peeked at the museum when we were looking at the fish exhibits :) I helped her finish a jigsaw puzzle, and we made our plans for picking up the farmers market order tomorrow and doing a facetime visit with my grandmother on Sunday for Mother's Day. It stinks not to be able to be with her, but it's absolutely what is best for her safety so I am at peace with it. More Uber Gifts

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more gifts from Uber and their 5th anniversary round to show you. There are so many gifts from almost all the participating designers, and you can cam over to the main sim from their two cam shopping sims (Harajuku and Daze Retreat) if the main sim is still full. I claimed all of these gifts from one of those alternate sims, so I am proof it can be done :) This is a very popular event each month, so I am pleased but not surprised that it lasted 5 years and expect it to continue for many more. All of tonight's clothing selections are tops, so I paired them all with my favorite Delizio jeans that are a marketplace gift in several colors, system layers plus appliers for Maitreya and Omega.

My first look holds a few different gifts, since with so many choices they do combine well :) The top on the left is from [[ Masoom ]] called Flora Top Coral, with adorable ruffles in the front and in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya. On the right I am enjoying the RIOT gift called Isla Crop Tee, which has a gathered knot and fun print. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, and Legendary. If you have been eyeing up my charming choker, that is our gift from RAMA called College Bae Bow Choker 'FATPACK'. The choker has a built in resize script when you click it, and there is a HUD included with 20 rope colors and 8 metals. 

If you enjoy the drama of a black and white pattern like I do, be sure to claim this Lele Top Dogtooth from Emery. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, and Physique, and has a unique style. Instead of a necklace, I chose to accessorize this with the gift from *Vanilla Bae* called Babe Bellychain. This treat has the word Babe on the back, and comes in Freya, Hourglass, Maitreya, and Legacy sizes with a HUD offering 7 metal options. 

Uniwaii is offering double the gifts, with two versions of their *UW - Tuen top. On the left is the BlackJean version, RedJean is to the right, and each come in a single Maitreya size. There is a HUD provided with each that lets you choose from 6 colors for the undershirt layered beneath, so there is versatility too. I love the bold belt that is built into each, and the cuffed sleeves for extra pizzazz. 

Another top that offers considerable versatility is this lovely Neve - Flick Top - All Colors. It starts with the tube top in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, and continues with a fantastic HUD that offers 16 texture choices (12 solid, 4 print) as well as the option for lace as the ruffle at the bottom. Yes is how it appears on the left, clicking no gives us a solid and slightly longer ruffle as you can see on the right. Both options have the gathered middle in the front with lacing to hold it together.

One final look of the evening, this is another generous gift with a handy HUD to turn a single shirt into a fabulous fatpack :) It's our gift from Baiastice called Lily Mini Top - All Colors, and includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Legacy. The HUD has 15 choices - 5 solid, 5 patterns, and 5 lace. The patterns are pretty florals, and the lace is revealingly sheer which is why you are seeing it from the back/side rather than head-on ;) I am enjoying the flirty style, which looks great no matter what you choose from that texture HUD.

It has been a long evening already, and I am 'enjoying' the pungent scent of a skunk somehow drifting through my closed windows. Sometimes it gets strong enough to make my eyes water, I'm guessing when more than one little stinker is involved. How can such a beautiful creature make such a terrible smell? Whew! Tomorrow I have an appointment and farmers market to go to so it will be pretty hectic, and then the next few days are my normal type of busy. Hiya everyone! Tonight you will see a sampling of the gifts available for everyone who visits the SL16B event (Second Life 16th Birthday) where the presents are for the residents. I am taking things sim by sim since there are 5 entire sims dedicated to the shopping alone, and tonight's can all be found on the Gilded sim. The generous designers are offering discounted merchandise in addition to free gifts, so there are plenty of reasons to brave the crowds and come celebrate.

My first look is from *Vanilla Bae* called Catalina Dress, in a special version for the SL16B event. There are PG and Adult versions, each in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Maitreya, and Legacy for the classic avatars. The adult version has a Strip Me feature, where clicking brings up a menu to set private, public, or you can add a Master with permission to strip the dress in 6 stages. 

::UNA:: has a gift for us too, their Vera White dress in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizing. It has a delightful tulip style to its sheer skirt, which can provide a bit of a surprise from the rear view. 

This cute outfit is the gift from Baiastice, SleepDress & Panties in 4 colors by HUD. The panties are linked to the dress so it all wears as one piece, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The included HUD lets you choose from 4 background colors, all with a pretty floral design.

When you visit the Blueberry display, you will find a gift for SL16B and another gift for Pride Month, which look terrific worn together but can also be paired with whatever you might desire. The top is their Pride Shirts Wet/Dry, and include half wet, full wet, and dry versions. Each comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with a bra HUD that offers 21 colors (visible through the wet versions) and an on/off feature. The shorts are the SL16B gift called Pride Shorts in 3 colors, with each color provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. As you can see on the right, the shorts say "LOVE IS LOVE" on the back and have rainbow wings right above the pockets. The HUD is marvelous, offering 19 fabrics and 12 leathers for the zipper line (in a black leather on the left), 30 colors to tint the ties on the sides, and 10 metals for all those rivets.

My final look this evening is Pride themed too, our gift from alme. called Mesh S&R Nails - Rainbow 2019 Rose. It consists of stiletto and rounded versions of the mesh nails, each rigged to fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink hands. There is a HUD for each shape with 3 lengths and 4 designs, which can be applied to each individual finger separately if you wish for variety within the manicure. There is also a HUD included for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and Vista, helpful for applying a matching pedicure for example. I am wearing the rounded mesh nails in medium length above.

It is going to be extra hot here the next few days, in the 90s, so I will be running fans and fighting the urge to stress out my air conditioner. The system is 20 years old and probably cannot handle full blast, and I need it to last the entire summer so the plan is to baby it a little. Women Only Hunt Time

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am excited to start sharing prizes from the Women Only Hunt 5, which started a few days ago (the 4th) and runs until the 18th, so time is of the essence. There is also a round of the Men Only Hunt happening at the same time, with some of the same stores taking part. For the Women Only Hunt you are looking for a coconut half (the men's hunt object is a mustache) and they dispense prizes for free when you find and click them. There are hints on the website, which you will need to have open for all the landmarks as well since there is no HUD for this round like the previous rounds. There are plenty of terrific prizes, so let's have a few peeks....

First we have this sexy look from .epoch. called woh. strawberry madness. The bra and panties are each provided in Freya and Maitreya sizes, with slender stripes sprinkled with sweet berries. I love the slashed openings in the middle of the bra front and on the hips of the panties.

This alluring dress with halter is our prize from 1313 Mockingbird Lane called Tamra Dress - Roses. As you can tell, the halter is a separate piece, and they are each in a single size that fit my Maitreya body perfectly. It looks equally charming with and without the halter, although the bows attached to the halter add something special.

Find the coconut hiding at Insanya and you can claim this KaiKai Bodysuit - Beach Diva in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Freya Natural, Freya Perky, Isis Natural, and Venus Natural. There is also a HUD included that lets you choose from 4 different textures, two of which are shown above. The strapless style and high cut hips are very sexy.

This playful look is the *Vanilla Bae* Becky Set - Shark Week WOH, with two crop tops and two crop panties each in sizes for Maitreya and Slink Hourglass. Both background colors look great against the school of sharks swarming around our pattern.

For my final look of the evening, we visit QUEENZ to claim their .Q. Regal Fatpack by finding their coconut. The top comes in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Katena Bimbo, and Katena Regular, while the skirt is included in eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Katena sizes. There is also a HUD that offers 10 colors for the top and skirt each, so you can tint them each individually and mix or match to your heart's content. 

I always feel like I need to do some sort of disclaimer when I post anything specifying male and female, since I realize that basic avatar gender in SL is binary but in RL it is much more complicated. I refer to all of these creations the way their designers do, but respect that not everyone wears clothing that matches the gender they are in RL or were assigned at birth. It is simply for identification :) Meanwhile I had a pretty average day here, and am looking forward to another tame day before a few busy ones start on Thursday. Find the Keys to Enchantment

Hiya everyone! Tonight's post starts with a wonderful offer found at the Enchantment event by Entice, and continues with several prizes from the Enchantment Hunt. It is a free gridwide hunt in which we will be seeking a gold key at each store, and the theme of Enchantment this round is Alice in Wonderland so many of the prizes are nods to that classic story. The event and hunt are open until the 31st, so you have over a week remaining to take part in these terrific opportunities.

My first look is the adorable Entice - Alice in Wonderland Tank and Alice in Wonderland Shorts, each of which can be found at the Enchantment event at a discounted price. They are each offered in individual colors for $150L each, or (my recommendation) the fatpacks for $450L each where you will find 2 bonus colors for a total of 10, via HUD. The tank fatpack HUD even has an extra plus, the ruffle on the front and back of the neckline can be changed to your choice of 5 colors with that exclusive HUD. The shorts have solid versions and patterned ones, and if you look closely you should be able to notice the Alice in Wonderland design on those patterns. Meanwhile, this style is perfect for summer and I have been wearing this outfit quite a bit already while hunting and exploring SL. No matter which you choose, it will include sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The next treat I have to share is a hunt prize from Vanilla Bae called Tillie Necklace Fat Pack, a very pretty chain with a key pendant and a fun bow. The necklace itself comes in Maitreya and unrigged versions, and there is a HUD included that offers 6 metal colors and 21 ribbon colors to choose from. I am still wearing the Entice outfit above, changed to a red option from the fatpack HUD, so I chose a matching red for the necklace ribbon and a soft yellow gold for the metal. There are so many combinations that it will certainly match whatever you choose to wear it with, and the key is a cute reminder of the hunt object.

Next we visit Have Unequal to find their hunt prize, the Trinity Dress Alice. It is provided in sizes for Maitreya and Slink Hourglass, and is such a flirty style with those geometric cutouts down each side. The ombre color is a great touch too, should be flattering with many hair colors and skin tones.

Love has a playful gift hiding in their golden key, this Risky Dress & Heel Boots in White. The dress and boots each come in sizes for Maitreya and Hourglass, and the outfit makes quite an impression coming or going...that cheeky short skirt (yep, pun intended) and the hint of pink on the sole of the boots. This is definitely worth the effort of hunting for it.

One last look of the evening, this is the Queen Of Hearts Dress/Headdress from Whymsical Marketplace. The dress is provided in fitmesh standard sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, and the headdress has a resize script built in on touch. Just find the hidden key and you can claim this elegant outfit for free.

Tomorrow my father is having surgery, so I am not sure if I will have time to get a blog together or not but I will try my best. This is one of those times when real life has to come first, and my family needs me. Anyone who is so inclined to offer prayers, positive energy, healing vibes, anything of that nature would be greatly appreciated :) He is very healthy otherwise and I believe in my heart that he will have a safe recovery, I'm just a worrier at heart so I'm anxious.
