Springtime in Kiyomizu

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features some of the wonderful free prizes from the Kiyomizu Spring Hunt 2022, which starts at the Kiyomizu Mall and continues at some of the mainstores of the designers who have branches there. The gifts are hidden with ninja cats, some of which are resized smaller than others, but they all reward you with a free treat just for finding and clicking them. The hunt signs at each store are very cleverly scripted to tell you exactly how many cats are hiding there, also serving to verify that there is (at least) one ready there. Please click a floating ghost above one of the walkways of this outdoor mall to get a list of what kitties you've found so far and where you still need to go, as it makes it easy to ensure that you visit all the mainstores in addition to combing the mall thoroughly enough. We have until the 3rd of April to track down all the cute cats, so have fun with them!

My first look this evening is the Shiorin's Mart prize called =CS= KIYOMIZU HUNT PRIZE 2022SPRING-1. Its shirt with built in tie and pleated mini skirt are each provided in Legacy and Maitreya mesh body sizes. The sleeves match the skirt perfectly with their familiar plaid pattern, and the tie has pretty pink flowers that definitely feel like spring. My nails here are another hunt prize, the KoCha - Nail_Spring Pink C which are a mixed manicure on a Maitreya applier HUD. Just one quick click will polish your nails in various solid shades of pink with a few carefully decorated with white floral nail art. 

Next I changed into the M*Motion C22 KYMZ Spring Dress prize. This strapless mini has tiers of ruffles in shades of grey and mint with a charming pink trim, and is designed to fit the Maitreya mesh body. This type of style makes me think of dancing, maybe from the flappers of the 1920s, and if it reminds me of a fancy bakery cake that just means I might be hungry ;) Gorgeous no matter what it calls to mind though.

The ninja kitty at SHOP KERO has a fun Spring Blouse Suit waiting for all who find and click it. The gift includes the blouse and skirt each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, along with a HUD with 10 colors each for the top, collar, skirt, and belt. We can do some mixing and matching with our lovely floral blouse and solid colored pencil skirt to create a look that is all our own. 

If you are ready for warmer climates and need a hot new look, please visit Frangipani Garden to claim their *FG* Greg & Monique Fabulous Swimwear prize. For my final look of the evening, I paired two prizes in shades of a very traditional spring hue. The dress is our .*.Jury PoP.*. Haruno Tunic Wanpi-Green- prize, with an oh-so-cozy looking fleecy texture, slit pockets, and scalloped midlength sleeves. It says "Spring" on the front in the purple circle above an adorable bunny, thus combining two wonderful seasonal colors. It is included in fitmesh S, M, L sizes as well as Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body versions. As for my nails, they are the Hapi*Rabi Nails Peridot -kth, a beautiful prize of mesh nails that are easy to wear by just hiding your hand's built in nails and adding the appropriate size nails. We receive Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn versions to fit several popular bodies. Just look at the shades of green that lean yellow in the center and teal on the edges, and the stunning gemstone on each nail! *chef's kiss* They look great with this dress but will easily coordinate with much of our spring wardrobes.

Are you ready for the weekend? I am, even if my stomach is still overly sensitive and moody. I enjoyed dinner with my parents tonight, and am most likely going to the farmers market in the morning with a game plan of not eating anything (samples galore!) while there. I only wind up nibbling on samples when someone creates something new, which lately has been Thai dishes since that chef brings lots of variety :) A very frustrating hockey game just ended, but there is another one Sunday that means another chance. Kiyomizu Winter Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am very pleased to share some free prizes from the Kiyomizu Winter 2021-2022 Hunt, a seasonal event that I look forward to every three months. We are looking for ninja cats in many of the stores at the Kiyomizu Mall, then visiting several mainstores for the rest of them, and the best way to know where to look is by seeking out the hunt signs and then clicking a floating ghost outside the stores. They will give you a personalized web link to show you which kitties you have found and what the landmarks are to the ones you have not, all tracked by the scripting in each sign and cat. As you can tell, I am very impressed by how organized it all is :) There are no hints which makes things tricky, and some of the ninja kitties have been resized so harder to find if smaller. While I generally am not very efficient in wireframe, I do resort to it if I really have trouble in a particular shop. We have almost a week remaining to find all these prizes, as things wrap up on the 10th of January.

My first look comes from M*Motion and is their C21-06 CYMZ Trench Coat prize. It is created to fit the Maitreya mesh body, and has a beautiful combination of charcoal and deep red in a very flattering design. The hood is such a nice touch, along with its drawstrings and the Peter Pan collar. 

I also found the kitty at GARDENIAn's kana so I could claim their Off Shoulder knitted-minidress "Rabbit" gift. It is sized for the Maitreya body (you will find this quite a bit among these prizes, if they are just one size it will probably be Maitreya) and has a fun knit texture with adorable bunnies and bows decorating it. This is the type of short dress that could also double as a top if you wanted to layer some pants beneath, for modesty or warmth.

The Amikko Hunt Gift 2021 winter Kiyomizu is two terrific looks in one. Its slip dress and jacket each come in a fitmesh M as well as a Maitreya mesh body size, and since they are separate pieces they can be worn individually or layered together. I like the silvery straps on the dress against the green and red, like tinsel or a star on a tree :) The bells on the upper right jacket pocket are a cute nod to the holidays too.

I adore sweaters with rich knit textures like this *21-03 kiyomizu winter hunt Sweater prize from **milky-way. This beauty fits the Maitreya mesh body, and has a soft seafoam color that will pair wonderfully with any pants or skirt that tickles your fancy. I promise to wear bottoms with it when I head out in public, LOL, and am starting to wonder why on earth I did not do so here...tired brains make strange decisions ;)

You may have noticed that my nails are polished tonight, and I am happy to share a closer view since they are another hunt prize :) These are the KoCha - Nail_Green&Red 2021-2022 which is a mixed mani for the Maitreya body. Most of the nails are a solid deep green that almost look black in some lighting, with red berries on a couple of the nails. Then we have a deep red accent nail on our middle fingers, adorned with holly leaves and berries. I noticed that it painted all of my toenails too in the rich green shade. All in all, this is a lovely look that I personally would wear for more than just Christmas season.

Summer in Kiyomizu

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am delighted as always to share some prizes from the seasonal Kiyomizu Summer 2021 Hunt. It starts at the Kiyomizu Mall where you can find ninja cats in stores that have the hunt sign displayed, just click them and each will distribute a free gift:) Then the ghosts that float above the walkways can give you a personalized link to a website that shows which cats you have found and where you still need to locate one or more. There are no hints which makes this a tricky hunt, and some are really tiny or flattened and stuck in walls, so be prepared to look carefully. I would say we rather earn these free prizes ;) I love it though, and have been enjoying these regular hunts for at least a decade now. 

First I slipped into the =CS= One-Piece Swimwear 020 KIYOMIZU FIRE DEPT prize from Shiorin's Mart. This sexy swimsuit has a pair of gold shields on the front and one on the white racing stripe down the back, right above a cheerful firefighter. There is Japanese writing on the front that I cannot read and was unable to translate with the Google translate app on my phone, so I hope it doesn't say anything too shocking ;) This seemed like a good time to share another prize, the Kiyomizu Tattoos from Mumu's Shop. On the left is the Rose&Cat, while I wore the Tropical on the right, and both images appear on both upper arms. I like the contrast of the single color for rose and cat, or you can choose the rainbow hues of the tropical island. Both are provided in system/BOM layers and a Maitreya applier. Just find those ninja kitties at each store to claim them for free.

Next we have the lovely M*Motion C21-02 KYMZ Summer Dress prize, which I adore for its soft appearance and high-low hemline. The buttons down the front make it very much like some of my favorite shirts in RL, just a fun detail that keeps things from being too plain even if you never unbutton them. The dress is designed to fit the Maitreya Lara mesh body. 

This sweet casual look is from the ninja kitty at [satus Inc] and is called Norma Short Loungewear Beige. It is a one piece shorts outfit with boat neck and long sleeves, so it would be comfortable this time of year or perhaps late spring and throughout autumn. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. 

One of the first things summer makes me think of is beach vacations, so this pretty High Waist Separated Swimwear prize from SHOP KERO is right up my alley. The top and bottom are each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with a HUD offering 8 textures as well as buttons to adjust glow and to adjust the texture's size. As with most HUDs like this, my suggestion is to try out any unfamiliar buttons to see what happens, since you won't really damage or break anything :) I find myself drawn to retro styles more and more lately, which also adds to the appeal of this particular prize for me.

for my final look of the night, I have a closeup view for you of the KoCha - Nail_Flower_Green gift. This applier works with the Maitreya body's hands, and will look great on any of their shapes or lengths you prefer. It is a mixed manicure with various blossoms either single or in pairs or trios on each nail. It creates a subtle yet playful look, and I really like the green and yellow together. 

Do you ever find yourself randomly googling things from conversations you're having or from whatever you're watching on tv? Listening to 70's music lately has sent me to google all too frequently, usually to find out who remade a certain song or what else I know a particular singer from. Then I fall down a rabbit hole of reading their whole life story though, which can be pretty unpleasant for a lot of that era's musicians. Kiyomizu Winter Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I would like to share several more prizes from the Winter 2020-21 round of the Kiyomizu Hunt. It starts at the Kiyomizu Mall and continues at some of the mainstores of the designers who have locations in the mall too, so the best way to keep track of where you still need to visit is by clicking a ghost floating above the walkways. They can link you to a personalized website showing you what ninja cats you still need to find, with the landmark for the exact location of the scripted sign at each stop that keeps track of how many hunt objects are active. This winter round is available until the 11th, so a few more days remain to find all these tricky but generous kitties. 

There are 3 prizes hidden with different cats at Korpokkur House, two of which can be combined to create this adorable outfit. The Turtle Top and Skirt are each designed for the Maitreya mesh body, in soft brown with white trim that makes me think of gingerbread. The third prize is a table, so you can also decorate your home a bit when you find all of these kitties. 

I do enjoy a nice versatile dress, so I was very excited to claim the prize at SHOP KERO called Plaid Winter Tunic. It starts with the dress in classic M and fitmesh M sizes for classic avatars, along with sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. It also includes a HUD with 24 textures (8 plaid, 16 solid colors) for the top, skirt, belt, and sleeves. Each section has a button on the left side of the HUD, so whichever you have highlighted by clicking will have your chosen texture applied. 

I certainly do feel like royalty in the Princess Gown prize from MeltingDots Freebie Store, and you can too! It has an elegant full skirt, sweetheart neckline, bare shoulders with detached sleeves, and a sash layer that can be tinted separately from the main gown via HUD. That HUD offers 10 colors each for the gown and sash layer, while the gown itself is included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies plus classic M and fitmesh M for classic avatars. I also found the ninja cat at Magiclo, who kindly gave me this Sleeve RibbonM_Dress[Kiyomizu]  prize. It comes in Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, with flared sleeves tied with pretty red bows. The colors have a Christmas flavor, but the snowflakes are suitable for all winter long. 

My final look of the evening is from KoCha, a treat for anyone with the Maitreya body and hands. It is their Nail_Red Christmas ver. applier, which will adorn your nails with a mixed manicure of solid deep red with accent nails of pink ombre with white holly leaves that have matching deep red berries in their center. You have to look very closely to notice that the artwork is holly, and I almost took the berries for hearts at a very quick glance, so you can bet I will happily wear these when an outfit matches, regardless of what the calendar says ;) Mixed manicures like this are so fun, and I did notice that my toenails received the same polishing from the applier HUD so you will be fully coordinated. 

It was a quieter day here, although there is still a lot of sifting through various news reports and trying to make sense of everything that happened yesterday. The weather is chilly and so is this room, so I am snuggled under a brightly colored lap blanket that a friend gave me a few years ago. It is not particularly thick, yet it helps keep my legs just warm enough. Kiyomizu Autumn Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features several gifts from the Kiyomizu Autumn Hunt 2020, a seasonal event that I have been enjoying for several years. We are searching for ninja cats in participating stores in the Kiyomizu Mall or the mainstores of some designers. There are over 40 total to be found, with a wide variety of clothing, accessories, home decor, and fun amusements. The best way to keep track of which kitties you still need to find is to click a floating ghost (check all the sidewalks of the mall area) and visit the personalize website it produces. You may need to click the ghost more than once while hunting, as refreshing the page in your browser does not work. Some of the kitties are extra tiny, or hiding inside walls or boxes, so this is a tricky hunt where wireframe might come in handy. We have until the 11th, so about a week to enjoy this wonderful hunt.

First we have the prize from Shiorin's Mart, which is simply called =CS= KIYOMIZU HUNT PRIZE 2020AUTUMN. The outfit is one piece with the appearance of a blouse, wife belt, and short skirt, and has been crafted for the Maitreya mesh body. The fall leaves on the top bring the same seasonal flavor as the suede look of the skirt and triple belts.

**milky-way has a ninja kitty for us to find too, this one containing their *20-05 RUGBY JERSEY ONE-P Kiyomizu prize. This striped collared sweater is perfect for autumn with those warm colors, and is long enough to wear as a short dress or long tunic if you layer some jeans or leggings beneath. The prize fits the Maitreya mesh body.

Another terrific prize that fits the Maitreya body is our M*Motion C20 KYMZ Autumn Gift. Find their ninja kitty and you can claim this one piece outfit that looks like a cropped tank top, long sweater, and maxi skirt with right thigh slit, all in one. The monochromatic look is a sharp one, and the store's logo on the top is subtle enough that I do not mind it. This outfit makes me want to brew a nice cup of tea :)

I also found this fantastic Aurelia - Kath outfit by clicking the kitty at Hapi*Rabi. Like many of these stores, their clothing has been fitted to the Maitreya mesh body, and this blouse and skirt are separate pieces so you could potentially do some mixing and matching with items already in your wardrobe. I love it as it is though, amazing vintage styling and ghostly white flowers on the skirt.

My final look of the evening is a closer view of the nail art I have been enjoying this evening, the prize from KoCha called Nail_Autumn Red A. The HUD is for Maitreya nails, and produces a mixed manicure with burgundy, black, and even some pale artwork on a few nails. You may have noticed that my toes were polished too, that is from the same HUD :) I just clicked to apply, and it seems to have painted my toes and fingers all at once which I appreciate.

It was a long day, and the houseguest was polite but has irritating habits like crushing cans (they drank beer aaaalll day long LOL) even though he has been told that our local recycling system cannot process them that way. I am not feeling my best, probably from allergies, so I have to put extra effort into making sure I am pleasant and friendly rather than short tempered from not feeling well. More Kiyomizu Prizes

Hiya everyone! Tonight is another collection of hunt prizes from the Kiyomizu Winter 2019-2020 Hunt for you to enjoy. There were a few skirts as prizes, and usually I find a lot of tops with no bottoms so this presented a unique challenge for me :) I headed over to The Free Dove to see if there were any simple shirts that I could wear with the various skirts, and found a set of basic tees from Baby Monkey that were perfect for tonight. I also had fun with some pretty manicures, as you will see too. The hunt is open until the 7th, so you have a few days remaining to find these ninja kitties.

My first look features the hunt prize from KnightDecember which is simply called Maitreya Skirt. It is provided in a single size, and has a high waist with closures down the front that split open about halfway down. The subtle floral pattern is so pretty, and the color feels suitable for year round wear to me. My shirt is the Baby Monkey Baby Tees Basics in black, one of 10 colors that are provided as system/BOM layers and Omega appliers. 

I switched into the white Baby Monkey Baby Tee, which I felt was a better match for the prize from {Akorat} called Winter Skirt. It also comes in a single Maitreya size, and has a pretty combo of red and white as it flares out into a short ruffle. I really like the white stitching that appears to connect the two sections. 

Back in black, the Baby Monkey tee that I chose to wear with this skirt that is :) The prize is from Magnolia and is their Winter Skirt. It comes in a single size that is not labeled but did fit my Maitreya body quite well. The black and red plaid looks wonderful with the golden trim, and would look nice with so many different types of tops.

The designers taking part in this hunt do tend to favor the Maitreya brand, not just for its body but for the hands as well. This manicure is compatible with the Maitreya hands, and is our prize from KoCha called Nail Flower Christmas version. Just click the button on the applier and it automatically gives you this mix of two designs on the nails, both in red with lighter pink tips. They are creative and very nicely done :)

My final look of the evening is the hunt prize from <ooSiki> called Bento Nail // New Year 2020 Hunt. They are not appliers, but the nails themselves, so please use your Maitreya HUD to hide their built in nails (the square with the slash through it among the shape/length choices) and then add these. 2020 is the Year of the Rat, and if you look closely at the middle fingers there is a very cute rat on them :) The red, gold, and white colors are really fun for New Year's too, but doesn't need to be exclusively for it. 

It was a fairly quiet day here, since I don't really do anything special to celebrate New Year's Day anymore. Until about 10 years ago, my parents had always done a big ham dinner with friends and family, but it became difficult for everyone to attend and just fell by the wayside. I miss the chance to see everyone, but not all the rest of the fuss, so that leaves a peaceful day of relaxing I suppose. Tomorrow I have the appointment to get this stupid filling replaced for the 3rd time, so no post tomorrow night. Fingers crossed that this time the filling decides to stay where it belongs! Kiyomizu Autumn Treats

Hiya everyone! Tonight we will explore more of the Kiyomizu Autumn 2018 Hunt, since there are so many wonderful prizes hiding with the ninja cats. As I mentioned in my last couple of posts, your best bet is to explore the Kiyomizu Mall stores for their kitties (the signs are at each participating store) and then click one of the ghosts floating above the walkways outside of the stores. That will bring you to a personalized website showing all the ninja cats' locations and which you still need to find. It is very helpful and I appreciate it. The hunt lasts until the 8th of October, so you have plenty of time to find all the kitties.

My first look is the Jury PoP prize called Bat Pattern Romper, a delightful find for the upcoming season. It comes in fitmesh classic sizes XS and M, as well as Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. I really enjoy the contrasting trim and the cute little bats in two colors.

Next we have the prize from [BMS] called KanzenRikai TShirt, a comfy sleeveless top in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, and Maitreya. It says "blender" on the front, and I am not sure what the text beneath it says, but I believe blender is the software program that designers use to create mesh items for SL. The jeans I'm wearing with it are my favorite marketplace gift from Delizio, which includes several colors in system layers and appliers for Omega and Maitreya.

Magnolia has a sweet present for us too, a strapless dress with scalloped hem and pretty polka dot pattern. It is provided in a single mesh size, there is a Slink Physique logo on the enclosed image but it fits my Maitreya body pretty well. Just find the hidden ninja cat to claim your copy.

Speaking of Maitreya, I switched into my Maitreya hands to show you a couple of sets of nails that are designed specifically for them. This is the prize from Midoriya called Aki Nail Maitreya, and is a beautiful set with a different design for each nail. They are very detailed, aren't they?

My final look of the night is another manicure for our Maitreya nails, the prize from KoCha called Nail 5 orange. They are dusted with autumn leaves and the orange has a delicate ombre with darker base and lighter tips. These will complement so many fall fashions, or look striking against a simple black outfit.

It has been a pretty rough day here, both personally and in my small town, so I am afraid I am not at my best and probably sound less cheery than normal. I do apologize if that's the case. Two elderly people were killed at a retirement home by their son, and since he is still on the loose they had to close some nearby roads and tell us to lock our doors and stay inside. I don't feel unsafe, just sad for everyone involved. In other news, I had already planned to take an evening off tomorrow from blogging due to an appointment that will leave me a bit groggy and uncomfortable. I will be back soon though, no worries. Kiyomizu Spring Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am delighted to share some of the prizes from the Kiyomizu Spring 2018 Hunt, a seasonal adventure that I look forward to every single round. It starts at the Kiyomizu Mall, with plenty of hidden ninja cats in the stores there, with some designers hiding their kitties in their mainstores instead. So the best way to keep track is through their wonderful scripting system. Just click a floating ghost above the walkways in the mall area, and it will open a personalized website that shows which cats you have found and which ones you still need (highlighted in pink) with the URLs to where the signs are placed. Some of the kitties are hidden in really tricky ways, shrunken to remarkably tiny sizes or flattened and tucked behind posters. It is a challenge, particularly without hints, but it is very worthwhile and I always enjoy visiting the mall and its related stores.

This is our prize from M*Motion, called C18 KYMZ Spring Dress. It comes in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, and has the appearance of a layered suspender skirt over a blouse but is actually a single mesh piece. Just find the ninja kitty and give them a gentle click to claim your prize.

For another pretty outfit that is a single mesh piece that gives the look of two, find the **milky-way kitty and you will receive their *18-01 Tunic & Skirt Sakura. The prize includes a classic mesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique sizing. I love the floral pattern on the top, and how the color of the skirt matches it so well.

For this look, I've paired together two different hunt prizes, but of course you can wear either piece with absolutely anything from your wardrobe that makes you happy. The top is from Magiclo called Kiyomizu Spring Hunt ShortSweater, and comes in 4 standard fitmesh sizes along with Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. The skirt is the prize from [KoCha] named Gray purple Check Skirt, in a single Maitreya size that may work with other bodies as well. The styles look really cute together, and I enjoyed playing with the mixture of stripes, knit, and polka dots.

This charming floral dress is our prize from SHOP KERO called Chinese Flare Dress. It comes in fitmesh standard sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. It also includes a HUD with 8 different textures to choose from, as well as arrows to adjust the size of the texture so if you want huge flowers or tiny blooms, you can do so. 

My last look is a gorgeous gown from MeltingDots freebie store, called Strapless Ball Gown 2. It comes in standard fitmesh sizes, and also includes a HUD that lets you choose from 8 colors of the soft floral texture, plus the ability  to turn the lace and gloss off/on. The lace is off in the left side above, and back on for the right half. Just find their hidden ninja cat to claim this exquisite gift, and don't forget to look around for other free treats.
