More Fallen Leaves and Frost

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we continue the FabFree Fallen Leaves and Frost Hunt, with prizes for $5L or less that are hidden in neon rainbows at each participating store. Many stores have multiple prizes out, so be sure to check the FabFree website for the hunt keys and hints for each. There are so many awesome designers who are part of the FabFree family, and I appreciate the opportunity to visit and claim impressive bargains for just a few lindens apiece! Some of these stores are ones I have visited before many times, and a few are relatively new to me so it's like making new friends :) We are straddling the weather change between autumn and winter here as in many parts of the RL world, so these gifts generally feel like they are based on that seasonal transition as a theme.

This t-shirt is certainly telling my truth, as I have been known to indulge in all sorts of treats with pumpkin spice flavor or scent in RL ♥. It is the $5L prize from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. and is appropriately named SPICE GIRL Tee. There are standard mesh sizes included as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. The wording is "If I was a Spice Girl I'd be Pumpkin Spice", decorated with seasonal leaves and of course pumpkins. I have a traditional fondness for pumpkin pie with those warm rich spices, how about you?

Ruxy is another store I am always excited to visit, and they have 2 free prizes hiding in their rainbows for us. This striking look is the Ruxy-FabFree Cleopatra plum dress, in lush velvet with contrasting insets on both sides. It fits Legacy and Maitreya bodies, and the texture makes me think of staying cozy in chilly weather. The short hem definitely shows every inch of leg though, for a sexy touch!

Our other prize found here is the Ruxy-FabFree Sigrith green dress, with a strapless sweetheart neckline and bubble skirt. It is provided in sizes for eBody Reborn, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, with a HUD to select from 6 gem colors and 4 metals for the bodice decorations. If you look closely, you'll notice the gems are teardrop shaped and the metallic studs are flowers, very clever details :)

I paired two of the 4 dollarbie prizes from VOOH here, although they genuinely all work well together :) The top is our " VOOH " FABFREE HUNT SHIRT prize, and the overalls are called FABFREE HUNT OVERALLS. These versatile separates each include standard S, M, and L sizes, along with sizes for Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. Each includes a HUD too, 14 textures (7 solids and 7 matching patterns) that on the shirt HUD can apply to the full shirt, main shirt, or sleeves by selecting that button before clicking your texture. The overalls have sections too, either the full overalls or the shorts, waist, suspenders, metals upper, and metals lower. As you can see I enjoy mixing the textures and solids just for fun, but let your tastes and imagination be your guide. 

My final look this evening is the free prize from Glitterati that is simply called FabFree Hunt - Fallen Leaves and Frost - Nov22. There are standard mesh sizes and versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies each for the top and shorts. The bare arms and extra short shorts make me think that this is a great choice for a warm weather vacation (or heading down under!) during the fallen leaves and frosty seasons :) They are an elegant style, especially the buttons and tiny zipper on the shorts, and the way the leaves on the top's pattern match the color of the shorts just right.

So right now it's been about 5 hours since my booster, and since I'm here blogging that should tell you that I'm doing okay :) Instead of going to the government facility nearby, I went with the pharmacy inside a supermarket that I get medication from usually. My arm is sore but not quite as bad as prior pokes, and I am tired but that's probably because I didn't sleep well. I'm not telling anyone what to do, just sharing my experience as a middle aged lady with health issues who wants to safely spend time this holiday season with my family. As long as I am still feeling up to it, I'm going to my parents for dinner tomorrow as usual on Fridays, then the farmers market on Saturday morning, so my mood is positive even with an achy arm. FabFree Enchanted Forest Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have begun to explore the FabFree Enchanted Forest Hunt, a terrific gridwide hunt with prizes from $0L - $5L hiding in small rainbow fairy images. Many stores have multiple prizes, and the FabFree website has preview images as well as hints and the landmarks. You can also pick up a free HUD that helps you teleport quickly and shows the prize photos, so there are multiple ways to enjoy this adventure. We are early on in the hunt's timeframe, as it runs until the 22nd of July, so take your time and treat yourself to some affordable prizes.

This incredible look is comprised of all 5 prizes from {Melt}, all of which are free. We start with the {Melt} Enchanted Rose Gown which is a single piece with the appearance of two, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. I am also wearing the {Melt} Enchanted Rose Armbands, matching Enchanted Rose Necklace, Enchanted Rose Tiara, and Enchanted Rose for hand Bento. The last one is the glowing rose bloom in my left hand, with a built in holding pose as the rose gently floats up and down. You can combine them all as I have, or just the ones that suit your mood or the occasion. I really enjoyed exploring the grounds outside the store to locate all these great gifts!

Next I found this striking *P* Enchanted Forest Mesh Dress (TEFH GIFT) at Phoebe, for absolutely free. The dress has a handkerchief hemline and a sheer separate layer so you can choose your look by wearing both or just the main dress. Each are provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizes. The deep green shade is a perfect choice for the hunt's theme, and those swirls add a magical touch.

Ruxy has 5 fantastic prizes in this hunt which are $1L apiece, including the AnnaBella Rose I am wearing here. The bright pink and teal colors complement each other so nicely, and the golden trim especially the bold neckline are so eye-catching! The prize includes Legacy and Maitreya mesh body sizes. 

Another irresistible $1L gift from Ruxy is their Xenia green, which is crafted to fit the Maitreya mesh body and includes a HUD offering 3 metal choices and 7 gem colors each for the small gems and the large tear shaped ones. I feel like I should be dancing beneath a canopy of trees in the moonlight in this mystical look!

For my final look of the evening, I changed into the ! Glitterati ! - FabFree Enchanted Forest Hunt dress which is a charming stapless mini with floral embroidery on the bodice and lacy overlay on the skirt. Our prize includes standard mesh sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine body sizing. The style makes me think of summer, but the color combination feels like it will work for any time of year.

We are still in the midst of a heat wave here, but not even as bad as the western part of the country, so I am not complaining but just explaining my quiet day at home beneath a ceiling fan :) Next week will be slightly cooler for a few days, so that will be a relief for sure. FabFree Celebrates St Pattys

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have a limited time hunt to explore, the FabFree St. Patty's Day Hunt, which started on the 16th and ends on the 20th. This quick terrific hunt has prizes between $0-5L from some really talented designers, hiding inside an image of two rainbow striped horseshoes. The shoes are for luck and the rainbow is from the FabFree logo, so it makes sense :) I am focused on the free gifts tonight, and the website will help you see what the others are and decide which you want to find in a hurry. 

My first look is the free prize from Glitterati by Sapphire, simply named St. Patty's Day Hunt. It is a single piece with the appearance of two, and comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. The solid green has a ribbon of trim at the waistband and skirt hem, and the flared sleeves add to the springy flavor. 

Sweet Willows has a whopping 5 free gifts to find, each of which is a different variety of the gorgeous dresses you see above. The one on the left is Hunt Prize #2, with #5 on the right, as I chose two randomly to give you an idea. Each striking gown is provided in a fitmesh size for classic avatars, plus Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. The bare shoulders and draped sash down the front are such elegant details, and look beautiful in each color varation.

I have been a fan of Baby Monkey for as long as I can remember, and it was initially all about the shoes. Over the years, they have branched out into clothing too, which makes me a very happy customer :) They have two free prizes hidden for us to find, which I have paired together to great effect. The clothing is their BM Tie Cami Dress St Patricks gift, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. There is also a HUD included with 4 color choices each for top and skirt portion, three of which you can see above plus a darker green. Our footwear is the prize called BM Ilena Heels St Patricks, strappy heels that fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High feet with a similar 4 color HUD. The styles look wonderful together, and the colors are going to look great at any time of year but especially today. 

Another store with multiple free prizes is Ruxy, with three stunning dresses as gifts for all who find their horseshoes. On the left I am wearing the Amour Mustard gown, and the pretty frock on the right is their Cristinne Dress >Cod 4< Green. Each of these are sized for Legacy and Maitreya bodies, with the Cristinne dress containing a 4 metal HUD so you can change the look if you wish. What is the third gift, you wonder? Well it is another green dress, even shorter and more flirty than these ;) Go find it!

For my final look of the evening, you just need to find one pair of horseshoes at ART & FASHION to claim both of these lovelies at once. On the left is their BRILLIANT SPRING MINI DRESS, and SIREN MINI DRESS can be seen on the right. Both have the same sexy style with slits on each thigh and a peekaboo opening on the bodice, and the colors are the traditional St. Patrick's green but not limited to this time of year whatsoever. Today was rather blah, as I had that appointment across town that is never enjoyable. I go to the podiatrist every 9 weeks to get my toenails trimmed and ingrowns taken care of, which I thought was ridiculous when I first heard about it from my parents (you mean you pay the doctor to give you a pedicure??) but my toenails really are much healthier these days. My nail beds are naturally very curved and it makes them grow in funny, causing those nasty ingrown nails that can wind up infected if not careful. I also have neuropathy (nerve damage) that affects my hands and feet, so it's best to have a professional examine my toes as often as practical. Tonight I watched my favorite hockey team lose 9-0, which is an unusually high score and grossly unbalanced to boot. So I am looking forward to escaping into SL tonight, where I can forget the day and find more exciting things to share with all of you. Peaceful Easy Feeling

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are continuing along the Peace On Earth Hunt 13 path, finding more globes of the earth and claiming lots of generous free prizes. I have been enjoying this tradition for over a decade now, the realization of which startles me a bit but also warms my heart. We can take comfort in knowing that these designers are thinking of us, and it is a treat to be introduced to stores that are new to us among the ones that are as familiar as a favorite song. The website will assist you with hints for each globe, and is also important to have open while hunting because of the locations that need to be skipped. The next landmark might not be updated in each globe yet but the website has that information as well as letting you know to pass by certain stops. I also suggest hunting with friends, since teamwork can help you figure out hints or just cover a large store faster and there are prizes for men as well as women. 

We start the evening with an elegant gown from Glitterati which is simply named POE 13 Hunt Gift. It is provided in standard mesh sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP body sizing. The dark pinstripes look lovely against the green fabric, and the bare shoulders are balanced by the high neckline and pert train in the rear.

I was also very happy to find the globe at [ASHBURY], especially since it contains not just one but two gifts! For the gentlemen we have a handsome shirt, and for the ladies they have included their Grace Skirt n Top as seen above. The charming set comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with exposed shoulders and lots of ruffles and flair. Did you notice the candy canes and gingerbread in the pattern? Those are two of my favorite parts of the holiday season, so it's fun to have them represented on my new outfit.

It has a magical sparkle to it that lighting wherever you wear it will enhance, so you will want to have advanced lighting turned on in your viewer to see it at its best. If I had a formal occasion to go to in the near future, this would probably be my first choice of wardrobe :)

For lots of people, Christmas and cats are two of their favorite things, so if that sounds like you (I am a bird person, but cats are beautiful creatures) please be sure to find the prize at Eclectic Stars. Their playful Shifty - Catty Christmas dress has long sleeves and a flared skirt, all trimmed in softest grey to complement the kitties who are enjoying some Christmas stockings and decorations. Hiya everyone! Tonight we continue along the Womenstuff Hunt path, one of 5 in the All 'stuff Hunt this month. These prizes ($0L or $1L each) are hiding in red t-shirts with white high heels on the front and the 'all Stuff logo on the back, and may be resized so be sure to look closely while following those hints. Where do you find those hints, you wonder? Well the website has not only those vital clues to find the prizes, but landmarks, prices, and it will even tell you which ones are exclusive to this hunt. There are just a few stores whose prizes are not set out yet or the store itself has closed, so the site will guide you to skip those and provide the next location if you get lost. I always suggest having a hunt's website available while you take part, for reasons such as those.

My day was enjoyable, as the weather was hot but not humid when I went to my favorite farmers market to pick up lots of healthy treats for the week. Hiya everyone! Tonight we see more fantastic Womenstuff Hunt prizes, all of which are either $0L or $1L and waiting inside hidden red t-shirts with green and brown stripes. There are hints on the website, and information if you need to skip any stores, so I do suggest (as always) having the website open and handy while hunting. There is not a specific theme for the prizes, so some are autumn or Christmas but others will delight you year-round. Sorry for the title, but I am completely drawing a blank ;)

My first look comes from Glitterati by Sapphire, a dress named after the hunt. It features a single strap and diagonal bandage type styling, in green and red that could be taken as Christmas but not necessarily. The butterfly on the front is a beautiful touch :) This free prize includes what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes: 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink.

The Sissy Bar has a $1L t-shirt hiding in their store, and its V-Neck Tunic and Leggings outfit is also named for our hunt. They wear as a single mesh piece, and are also provided in that lucky 13 of mesh sizes. I really like the dusky mauve color of the leggings and how they pick up a medium shade from the pattern of the top.

There is also a dollarbie treat at the Baci Shop inside a t-shirt for us, their flirty Autumn dress. The soft colors made me think of vintage fashion, while the style is certainly modern, so it is the best of both worlds in that sense. Speaking of fashion, the LUXE Paris VERY COUTURE Dress and Hat will come in very handy when you want to look your dressy best. This free prize includes the dress in classic sizes (S,M,L), fitmesh sizes (S,M,L), plus versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. The matching hat is included too, and there are several colors of a simple hairstyle (amber, ash blonde, black, brown, super blonde) in case your favorite 'do won't cooperate with the hat. I was fortunate that my Truth Reyane hair worked will with the hat. The belt tied in the back with that gorgeous two-tone bow certainly caught my eye as well.

My final look of the evening also involves bows, but of a smaller variety. This is the Aurora's Closet prize from their $1L t-shirt, their Holly Sweater Dress Navy. There are versions with and without bows provided, each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. No matter which one you wear, you can easily layer a pair of tights or leggings, or even jeans beneath, if you feel it shows a little too much leg for the colder weather. I have a tendency to do that when it is chilly in RL, almost like a superstition ;) 

Another day, another struggle to plan Thanksgiving dinner to suit all attendees ;) We have complications of people with quite different dietary restrictions, two for serious health reasons, so we are being careful while trying to make it all tasty and enjoyable. I am amazed that I already feel a difference in my room, with a stone humidifier set up for mere moments. The dryness in the air was doing bad things to my skin, hair, and nasal passages which have always been prone to bleeding thanks to allergies. I think this will help, there is one in this room and one in my bedroom so most of my time will be spent near one or the other. Hiya everyone! Tonight we have one more look at the prizes from the Peace By Peace Hunt 3, a $1L gridwide hunt that has us looking for puzzle pieces. It runs until the 15th of July, so you have plenty of time to use the hints on the website to track down all the ones you wish. 

First we see the prize from ART & FASHION, called Summer Lovers Mini Dress. It has unique cutouts both front and back and an artistic design on the front beneath the zipper. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies.

Summer calls for swimwear, and the puzzle piece from Mara's Mysteries holds treats for men and women. This is their Leslie Swimsuit - Dahlia Dreams, and it is provided in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing, with a HUD that lets you choose from 10 colors to tint the pretty floral pattern. Also included but not shown is a matching sun hat, which did not cooperate with my updo hair. 

This is a combo of two hunt prizes, we'll start from the top which is the Southern Sass Plaid Crop Halter. It includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, all with that playful bow whose tails dangle all the way past the waist. My pants are from Dream Factory, whose puzzle piece holds a t-shirt for the men and these ~DF~ Leggings Red Lace for the ladies. They come in sizes for Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. 

Changed Seasons is offering a pair of swimsuits in their puzzle piece, their Kai 2 pack. It consists of the blue with teeny polka dots (left) and pink with bold magenta palm trees (right), each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing. They are a thong in the back, so these are extra flirty :)

My final look of the evening is the prize from Glitterati, named Peace by Peace 3 after the hunt. It includes fitmesh standard sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, with a bonus lace thong in system layer and Omega applier. The thong can be tinted so you can match it however you want to, very versatile.

Hiya everyone! Tonight we continue on the Womenstuff Hunt 2019 path, where we can find a bevy of prizes for either free or $1L. The hints and locations can be found on their website, as well as if the prize is an exclusive creation for this hunt. It lasts for the entire month of May, but there are well over 100 stores so the sooner you start the better.

First we take a look at the $1L prize from KingbalStores called KS OUTFIT LENALEE BIKINI TRIBAL. The top and bottom are each in sizes for standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. The style is loaded with straps and ties, and a fun print in neutral colors.

Miami Mix Boutique is offering this Luana Top-Hood Greens inside their free t-shirt. It can be worn in your choice of 8 colors thanks to the included HUD, and all say FLAWLESS on the front. The Maitreya size was small on me, so I am wearing the Slink Physique version since it was nice and close. This dress is an exclusive prize, so be sure to claim it while you can!

My final look this evening is courtesy of Glitterati and is an exclusive offering named after the hunt. The glamorous gown comes in standard mesh sizes, with vibrant colors trimmed in gold. There is also a lace thong included as a system layer and an Omega applier, so it is compatible with most mesh bodies and classic avatars.
