SALTY is one of the many stores currently participating in the Stay at Home Club by offering a free gift, namely this Emma - Blue dress. The harness style halter and belts are so flattering to all shapes and sizes, and the color is simple yet elegant. No group is needed, just visit and claim it for free.
I also stopped by at BellaBee, where you will find this generous gift called Latex Dress Jolina. It comes in 4 colors (light pink on the left, red on the right, black, and white) each sized for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. There is a bodylight provided too, which I suggest adding to really show off the shine of the material.
My final look of this evening features the Stay at Home Club gift from **Mistique** called Felicia print Pink. This fun bandana top is a long point in the front, tied in a pretty bow in the back, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The pattern is eye catching and I am fond of the color too :) I paired it with the Delizio gift found on the Marketplace that appears here on my blog fairly often, several colors in system/BOM layers along with appliers for Maitreya and Omega.
I actually left the house today, so that was something different ;) It certainly helps to have SL and other ways of keeping in touch with people online. As a matter of fact, we decided that instead of my going to visit my grandmother for Easter, my parents (who will be there anyway to get groceries for her and her caretaker) will get us set up on facetime so a virtual visit :) Apparently she is aware that something bad is going on and people are sick, despite the residual effects of the stroke affecting her memory somewhat, but she watches television as entertainment so I'm sure she saw commercials and news breaks. Now that they want us to wear masks (after saying for weeks that they won't help) I ordered some from a friend from my penpal hobby days (mid-late 90s!) to add me to her growing list of orders. They are double layered and have a pouch for filters so I think I'll be using coffee filters in there, and they are washable so I can reuse them as long as necessary. We live in strange times, but it seems we just need to adapt and do whatever it takes to get used to a new normal. The only plans I have for the next several days involve possibly walking outside a bit to get fresh air, and mostly staying right here playing Animal Crossing and spending time in SL with Xan. Hiya everyone! Tonight felt like another visit to The Free Dove, since there are just so many fantastic gifts there to share. All you need is their free group tag active (Blessed by a Dove) to claim top quality fashion and accessories from many generous designers, all gathered under one roof. Men and women will find clothing, hair, skins, shapes, shoes, just everything an avatar of any age can use to update our wardrobes. It is well organized, with some designers having their own display if they have multiple gifts, and other kiosks are labeled with signs hanging above such as Womens Casual or Mens. All of tonight's looks can be found on one of the Womens Casual displays, but really I say just have fun and browse the whole building :)
My first look is the group gift from I n' K Original, and it is called Nova Knit Dress. This snug fitting sweater can act as a long top or a short dress (I wore it with leggings yesterday) and comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. There is also a HUD provided with 5 colors to choose from, two of which you can see above.
Next I picked up this sexy Sookie dress from SALTY, which comes in gold and silver versions like you see above, plus a black version, all with that sheer midsection and lace overlay that resembles skulls. Each color is included in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing.
If you are in the mood for an adorable short set, be sure to claim this gift from Damoour called [DR] Outfit Short, Top HUD 20 COLORS. It is a charming green with stars scattered about, on a tank dress that is tied in a knot on the left thigh for added pizzazz. My first look is our gift from ! As I mentioned in my title, I am feeling thankful for many things this year as we approach Thanksgiving. The fact that my grandmother is still with us at 93 and after surviving a stroke a few years ago is a miracle, and getting together with family and friends at her house will be a special occasion for sure. I have a houseguest arriving momentarily to join us for dinner, and they will be here until Friday night so will be understandably busy the next couple of days. Right now my plan is to skip blogging tomorrow but probably post the following evening, but if that becomes too much of a challenge I will try to give a heads up on twitter. Our Thanksgiving traditions are a bit complicated as a blended Italian-American family, so we have: fruit salad, Italian wedding soup, pasta with meatballs and sausage, then the turkey and sides (potatoes, stuffing, veggies, etc.) and homemade cranberry sauce, finishing up with several desserts. All of these are homemade, organic where possible, locally sourced, etc., so it is quite a feast and one that takes all day to eat. I will probably be there for 8 hours or more, so you can bet I'll need a nap after all that! I generally take tiny portions of most of the above while totally skipping others, and lots of leftovers always make their way to everyone's homes.
Back to the gratitude I want to express...I am very fortunate to have family, friends, and Xan in my life, and I am grateful for whatever remaining health I have. I really need to mention how much I appreciate all of you who read my blog and give me a reason to do this, it provides a sense of purpose in my sometimes bleak existence and I thank you. If you celebrate, please have a very Happy Thanksgiving, and if not I still wish you a beautiful day of course. Sending many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit the Flawless Collective Sidewalk Sale & Hunt, which is open until the 19th of May. There are several designers in various sims taking part, with special discounted offers outside their stores and a free hunt prize hidden in a picture of a picnic basket. There are hints available on the signs at each store, and the prizes are generally inside the stores rather than out with the sidewalk sale items. Your best bet is to click a sign to get a notecard with all locations, and you can see images of what is for sale at each stop.
Our first stop tonight is Entice, where among their discounted sidewalk items you will find the Milkshake Shorts - Nude for $50L, regularly $200L. They look delightful with the prize hiding inside the store, the Entice - Milkshake Top - Nude, which will be free when you find the picnic basket. They are well coordinated without being identical, so there is a remarkable amount of color for something designated "nude" color :) Each includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, and Hourglass mesh bodies.
This beautiful dress is our hunt prize from Albino Peacock called "Fern" Dress - Fiesta. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, with lots of fun details like the tassels on the skirt and the ombre of pink, purple, and green. The floral pattern just adds to the playful feeling, as does the eye-catching strap in the back.

Hiya everyone! Tonight we will continue to explore the Scorching Summer Hunt that we had a tiny preview from yesterday. It is a $1L gridwide hunt in which we are seeking purple tulips, by following the hints on the website and using the landmarks there to navigate from store to store. I also have a trio of terrific DAZZLE exclusives from AvaGirl, which can be worn together as a set which I did tonight :) The theme for the May round is At The Train Station, and you can experience the adventure until the 25th of the month.
Our first hunt prize comes from ! SALTY ! and is their captivating Emma Dress. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, in snowy white with halter straps that form a crisscrossed belt. The lace trim is a sweet touch, too.

This round's theme is Cozy Spring, so you can expect lots of colorful offers. Each cart has an exclusive item $100L or less, and the hunt is for free strawberries on or near the carts. Tonight I have several of those gifts to show you and brighten the start to our week.

The style is terrific, just look at that rear view! I think I need to wear this out dancing.
The Sissy Bar has a colorful bodysuit as their hunt prize, simply named Jester's Revenge Hunt. It includes standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions, and a gold belt with an infinity symbol clasp.
My final look of the night is the #bye prize called Hearts of Jester, an intricately textured mini dress in standard fitmesh sizes plus eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. I love the lace trim and hearts, and that zipper in the back is a fun aspect because some dresses in SL would be impossible to get in and out of in RL. I feel like the presence of the zipper adds a touch of realism.
It was another manic Saturday here, lots to do, and my favorite part is always spending time with the people at the farmers market. I think the best purchase this week was the honey roasted garlic hummus (handmade locally) but I haven't tasted everything yet so there could be another top contender waiting for me :) I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
