Hiya everyone! Today's post has such a variety of where these looks are from, I am really excited about it. There are bargains from The Wash Cart Sale, a couple of Advent calendar gifts, and even a few Peace On Earth 9 Hunt prizes. Just a little information on the POE 9 Hunt since this is my first post for this round, you are looking for the same globe as the prior rounds (a replica of the earth) and they are free, there are over 100 participants (there are stores who dropped out but they are numbered to 114) and you can find all the SLurl's and hints on their blog as well as from a notecard found at their starting location. I do look forward to this hunt each year, and enjoy seeing new stores along with old favorites.

I am definitely ready to enjoy the holidays in this fantastic Dark Water Designs cart sale offering, DWD Sweater Tunic Set in black/red plaid. For your mere $10L you will receive the sweater in 8 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink sizes, and an Omega applier for the matching pantyhose. Also included are cowl sweaters in black or red. I also have good news, this set can also be found on their cart in Wintergreen, a soft cream color with light green accents and cream colored stockings. I did promise an Advent gift, and this is one of the two from Emerald Couture today. It's called EC ReVamped Kimono Outfit in Periwinkle, and I am loving that short sexy style. The kimono style dress comes in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes (5 standard, 5 fitted, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink) and the shoes are included for Slink high feet. The color really made me smile as well.
Peace On Earth is not just the name of this hunt, but it is also my most fervent hope/wish for the upcoming year. Our first stop in the hunt path is PurpleMoon Creations, and their gift for us is the stunning PM Frost Dress above. The dress itself is mesh in fitted large, fitted small, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, while the skirt you see on the left has a resize script built in so you can adjust as needed. Such a lovely look, and versatile since it looks great without the skirt as well as with.
My final look of the day is from the next stop in the hunt, Celestinas Weddings. This is their Lisa Spirit Dress in Tiffany which looks to be a reference to the color resembling Tiffany boxes. This treat starts with the dress in 8 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, and you will also find those matching wings packed into the gift. Let's not forget the delightful matching heels, included for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink feet. You can certainly wear this without the wings, although I do rather like the idea of looking like a Victoria's Secret angel with a twist ;)
You probably noticed my adorable new hair, well it is today's KittyCats! Advent calendar prize tucked away behind door 19. You can claim it along with any previous days you've missed at any participating store for free. This is the Amacci Candy Rose hair which comes with a HUD for 10 different hair colors and 5 different rose shades to choose from. I needed an updo to really show off some of these outfits, so it was perfect timing.

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have the pleasure of showing you my Part 2 of Hair Fair 2016 gifts, very thoughtfully offered by many of the amazing hair creators from around the grid. The hair fair covers several sims, tonight's gifts are all from Backlot West on the sim called Osmium, with direct links to each display borrowed from the official Hair Fair blog. I figured it would make it easier than just saying hey, here's a free hair, now go wander 4 crowded laggy sims to find it for yourself ;) And now I whisk us off to the wondrous world of hair gifts...
My first style of the evening is the adorable free gift from Amacci Hair called Zip Duo, and this includes a HUD with 10 different colors for each half of the hair, none of the colors being repeated, so your hair will definitely have that fun split color look. I very much enjoyed the color choices, along with the style itself having almost an anime feel to it.
Speaking of anime, these bright colors also put me in that mindset. This is actually two different gifts, with the hair on the left being the Sophie Hair in Unicorn Ombre, courtesy of [NANI]. Their take on the classic bob has those soft waves on the end, a fun contrast to the sleek bangs. On the right, you can see the free gift from Sintiklia which is just the buns which can be added to any hair. They come with several HUDs (miscs, blondes, browns, pastels, and reds) and can be edited so you can adjust them as you wish. They are an inventive gift since they are so versatile :)
This one certainly made me think of anime as well, turning it into an accidental running them so far. This stunning 'do is our free gift from Curious Kitties called Nyanotech Hair [Type B] Eihmao. The colors are delightful, and the chopsticks have great details in those flowing ribbons and the crystals that are in perpetual motion as pretty pendulums. This style is ideal for roleplay but also just for a playful change of pace.
Tameless has a free gift for us as well, their Nancy in Naturals with its floaty flexi ponytails. There is something very soft and feminine about this look, and the included HUD lets you select from 30 color choices and there are buttons for color 1 or roots. On the left is without, the right is with roots, and they both have nice dimension to the texture.
One last gift for tonight, we have a dollarbie found at the enVOGUE booth consisting of a wonderful trio of color combinations for their Jasmine Ombre hair. They are simply named A, B, and C, and I've shown those left to right in that order. I actually found myself most drawn to C, to the point where I think I audibly gasped when I tried it on :) I think it suits the skin I'm wearing really well, and those peekaboo bangs are a terrific touch.
Clothing note of the night: I picked up a charming $1L hunt prize at Sevyn East from the Flirty Summer Hunt, their gift being this romper in system layers with appliers for Maitreya/Belleza and an Omega HUD. Just look for a cute little crab, he's a flat prim, and claim him for just one linden to get this great summer outfit.
It was generally a good day, the ENT (ear, nose, & throat specialist) doc gave me a clean bill of health from those infections a couple weeks ago, whew! He is concerned about the severity of my allergies and that I don't regularly take an antihistamine, so he prescribed one that I am considering. I also fought with the Pokemon GO servers, that conked out as soon as I got near several pokestops that had lures on them >.< For non-pokemon fans, that means there was something set out at a place that gives prizes, that attracts extra critters to be caught as well as those goodies every 5 minutes. Think of it like finally getting into a crowded SL event, then losing power or internet. Frustrating! On a lighter note, at least I resisted the urge to call this post Hair Fair 2: Electric Boogaloo ;) Meanwhile I hope you are all having a great day/evening, magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Hiya everyone! I had a serious case of SL crash-itis but I am back and pleased to be so :) I am bringing you some terrific anniversary gifts from the Shabby Shiny event, no group is needed for these generous goodies just a viewer that doesn't mind really crowded sims (like mine apparently does!). The event runs until March 10th, so plenty of time to visit and browse for fantastic bargains and lots of gifts.
My first look of the night is a gorgeous gown from PEQE called Lady of Time in Pink. She comes in standard mesh sizes and features such a lush color and texture, sure to be a hit wherever you wear it.
Next we have a really intriguing dress from American Beauty, their Turtle Chin Knit Dress in Dark Grey. This made me giggle as I'd never heard that term before, turtlenecks but not turtle chin, but it's clear that it comes up higher than a turtle neck, keeping our pretty chins warm when it's breezy out. My lovely earrings weren't very visible so I went in for a closeup...they are multiple big hoops (one piece though) from Minimal. Jewelry is always a pefect gift, isn't it? :)
This very cute outfit is actually one mesh piece, our fun present from M.Birdie simply called 2015 Last Winter Gift. The outer layer shirt says Dairy Made Ice Cream, and the color did put me in mind of some nice rich chocolate. The attached skirt has more of a reddish tone, and I think the alpha layer isn't playing nicely with my shape (that's been happening a lot lately but usually in the boob area) so even the Large size looks a bit odd at the hem. This outfit is provided in Small, Medium, and Large sizes by the way :)
For my last look of the night, I went with a very sexy teddy, and a grumpy looking teddy ;) My lingerie is from Apple May Designs and is their Izzie in Black, which is provided in system layers (shown) along with appliers for Belleza, Maitreya Lara, Omega, Slink Physique, TMP, and even Baby Bump. There are also 3 sizes of bows for the back, a very sweet touch. My bear on the right is from Pewpew! and is their Mad Teddy Classic, with built in hold pose. Not sure why he's so cranky, snuggling with him didn't seem to help but I'm enjoying his company regardless.
No nail note of the night (SL default HUD again) but a hair note since this is one of several hair gifts to be found at Shiny Shabby, this one from Elikatira. This is their [e] Kiki in Exclusives, whose HUD has 20 choices including 12 colors and 8 ombres. I will show my SL age a bit here by saying I used to be a big fan back in her ETD days :) This style is so playful, and that big curl in the front along with the smaller one in the back are just a delight. Oh and I also have an eye note tonight, those are the Amacci gift at Shiny Shabby called Zenith Eye Mocha and come in standard and mesh versions. The standard have 3 sizes with a dark version of each, while the mesh have a HUD for all those neat options.
I am running very late, for some reason lately things seem to get really weirdly busy or crop up suddenly the minute I sit down to blog. I apologize for my absence last night, I wasn't feeling great and was stressed trying to get ready for a busy day today, and when I crashed 5 times that morning I just gave up temporarily. Two hectic days in a row, and now here I am :) I got to see my best friend earlier which meant the world to me, it had been since September since we got together and I hate going that long without her hugs and wonderful company. Meanwhile I hope all of you have had plenty of reasons to smile today, and magical magpie hugs to each of you!!

Hiya everyone! I am making a change in my blogging schedule to give everyone more time to visit everywhere for Advent calendars before they change at night. I hope it works out well :) I have always enjoyed popping around the grid and claiming all the exciting, generous gifts everyday. Some stores offer a full calendar from December 1st to the 24th, while others do a traditional 12 days of Christmas from the 13th to the 24th. Since some started at Midnight SLT, I do have some goodies to share so let's get to it!
This first photo has several different Advent gifts, so let's start with the dress. This is "Amira" from Bees Heaven, and comes in standard mesh sizes with a very long slit down each side. No group needed, just visit and click the correct day. Next in the inset, we have a look at Hello Dave's first gift from their first Advent calendar, free with the group tag. They will be offering a different design each day instead of doing the weekly HUDs, so fun! You might notice I look a bit more flushed than usual, well my bright rosy cheeks are an Advent gift from Dulce Secrets (no group needed), their system layer Cherry Cute Blush. It goes well with the beautiful eyes from Inkheart. They are called Hades Eyes in Breeze, and come in system layers or mesh each in three sizes. For this one you will need to join their free group. Advent is why I finally went Premium, LOL, knew I'd need all these extra group slots for blogging :)
Not only am I giving you a closer look at the Inkheart eyes from the previous photo, I have another Advent gift to share too. The bottom half of this image, I am wearing Amacci mesh eyes in Stargazer, Blue on the left eye and Green on the right eye. These are also in system versions, but in order to show different colors I am wearing the mesh, and they even included a short hair that fades from black to platinum in male and female sizes. This gift is from the KittyCatS Advent Calendar, a wonderful tradition that will provide gifts from a large variety of designers throughout SL and usually culminates in a pet version (no food required) of their precious cats. Note I was wearing the blush from the previous photo in the top half but not the bottom here, quite a difference!
Yay, nails!! Ahem...okay I'll try to compose myself but I do love manicures and these seasonal ones are lovely. This is our Advent gift from Entice, and while it is Day 1 the name of the HUD itself is Christmas Nails Set 2. This HUD is so versatile, 3 designs in each color red and green, and a row for each Maitreya, Slink, Omega and Belleza. You will need to be a member of their free group, and pay $1L that is immediately reimbursed to claim this terrific gift.

Hiya everyone! I had another fruitful visit to the Marketplace, and was very pleased to find a few dollarbies and freebies to share with you.
I admit, the appeal of this one was my being so ready for spring, and tired of having to be bundled up all the time in my first life. For the most part, I keep my avi dressed for my first life weather, like when it's winter here you wouldn't be likely to find me bopping around the grid in shorts. But doesn't this dress and matching choker (included) by M&M just scream Spring? :) The fun updo hair is also from the marketplace, a generous freebie fatpack by Amacci.
If you'd like to dress a little warmer still, how about this gorgeous peacoat? It is also a dollarbie on the marketplace, thanks to Vitrimi, and comes with 2 other colors as well, black and tan. I'll probably pair it with a pair of pants or leggings in the near future for day to day wear, oohh and maybe some cute boots.
I did have more luck at Rowena Springflower's lucky boards, and this is the stunning Dianna dress I was fortunate enough to win there. As with most of the creations there, this comes with a HUD to change between 5 different colors. Speaking of HUDs, I'm sporting manicures from the marketplace also, all are from an alaskametro freebie.
