Sassy and Swanky

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we swing by the SWANK Event again for their Pride Hunt which is part of the Celebration of Colors themed round this month. The gifts are found inside rainbow striped flames, easy to spot and free if you have their free group tag active :) Be sure to explore both floors of this impressively sized event, and I'm confident that you will be very pleased with the sales offers and gifts you encounter. I obviously was as usual, lol, and will always happily plan on a high priority visit to these events.

My first look of the evening is a playful bodysuit with artwork of a voodoo doll seated on the front. The [LABELITA] Camilla Body Red gift includes sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. I'm not sure exactly what the doll signifies, but he looks like he could use a hug. I'm always up for that :) The ruffles are a flattering detail, and I always wind up drawn to the boldness of bright red.

Some of the treats are indeed Pride themed, like our Nala Design - Marianna Pride Outfit 1. The dress, anklets, and heels are all designed to fit Legacy, Perky, Petite, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We also receive the rainbow earrings you see here, which go so well with the bands on the dress and the platforms of the shoes :) Speaking of shoes, how fun are those chains that drape across the toes and then along both sides? The anklets are optional since they are separate, but I do think they add a special something to the look.

{Le'La} Makana Set Gift is another great gift that you do not want to miss :) The top, cardigan, and skirt each come in sizes for Erika, Erika Bubble, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Nerido, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy bodies. Then we can add the garters which fit Erika, Erika Squeeze, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kupra Maze, Legacy, Legacy Maze, Reborn, and Reborn Maze thighs. The little heart shaped coin purse on the left garter is a really clever touch, and in case it's not clear the tank top says "Limited Edition". Yes, we are!

Find the Black Angel Store flame, and you'll receive their VESNA DRESS by BA Store as your reward :) I must say, leopard print is one of those things that may rise in prominence from time to time but never truly goes out of style. It looks great here on the top and straps, contrasting the black skirt which looks oh so sexy with that opening on the left thigh. There are Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included. 

For my last look of the night, I combined two gifts that look so nice together that I've been wearing this outfit off and on for a couple of weeks now ;) The Vulnus Pride Hunt Gift knotted top has rainbow colored trim to match the rainbow arch and clouds on the front, and the upper back says "Vulnus 4 Pride" in multicolored text. We receive sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Then I added our AXE SHORT ESTELA GIFT, one of my favorite pairs of shorts I've seen in SL in ages :) The floral pattern has lovely 60s and 70s vibes, just so bright and cheery, and the length is nice if you're wanting a decent amount of coverage (no cheeks hanging out lol) without feeling stuffy. They fit Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. With all those pretty colors of flowers, you could wear just about any top that you wish with these!

It felt like a long weekend, like each day went pretty slowly for me...I'm glad I went to the farmers market and it was nice despite being fairly hot, and I am relieved that I got lots of rest today. I don't know yet when I'll be going out anywhere this week, but it will most likely be to get my eyeglasses finally. The weather may affect that, but it just seems like common sense to have glasses as backup anyway when you wear contact lenses. Welcome Back Womenstuff

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got good news about a longtime hunt returning to the grid. The Womenstuff Hunt, last seen in summer 2022 (and even that was a revival after the groups changed hands) is back with over 100 participating stores offering free prizes. The one catch that keeps it from being utterly free is the $50L fee to join the Womenstuff group, which is necessary to claim the prizes. Please visit the 'Stuff lounge and join the group if you aren't already in it, then you can click the sign to obtain a HUD that can teleport you to the stops and provide hints. The HUD is essential since that seems to be the only listing of participating designers, and it is handy to use it to teleport around. The hunt object used to be a red t-shirt, well now it is a lovely red bag in a squared shape with a circular handle. Some have been shrunken down to a really tiny size, so those hints are going to be very helpful! The HUD has arrows to turn the pages to each store, then a ? for the hint and a pushpin for the landmark. The teleport symbol looks like a circle with lines radiating upward, okay it's hard to describe actually LOL but it is on the lower right of each prize image. With 106 prizes, that makes the total cost less than a half a linden dollar per gift :) I'd already been in the group for ages, and highly recommend staying in if you can spare the group slot because I'm hopeful that this hunt goes well and encourages them to do it again soon. Many of the gifts include Lara X sizes, so many in fact that I'm wearing that body this evening.

My first look of the evening is the revealing "Inna" Blazer Vest-Orange from Asteria. Their prize will fit Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, Senra, and a Classic and Curvy pairing that could be Gen X or possibly Tonic. We also receive a HUD with 15 textures for the inner (collar), 12 colors for the panties plus an on/off option, and 4 metals. The open sides are held in place with playful straps for an added fun detail :)

!APHORISM! has a terrific prize for us too, their Steph Shirt & Skirt Gold Ltd Ed outfit. The top and skirt each come in sizes for Gen X Classic, Classic Dainty, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh bodies, along with a HUD for each. The shirt's HUD has 24 choices for collar and cuffs, 12 for the buttons, and a pattern or plain option for the gold color of the main fabric. The skirt HUD has the same pattern/plain choices available, so we really can personalize this look nicely.

Time to get sexy with the :: pm :: Adriana Lingerie Set -2 colors- prize from purplemoon! There are beige and choco versions each of bra and panties, all in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing. You could mix and match if you wish, but for once I felt like keeping things streamlined ;) The bra has lovely flowers across the top, and the lacy texture on both is just beautiful.

I also found the bag at Vulnus and eagerly claimed their Abas bikini prize. The top and thong are each provided in Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. They are both tied in place with slender straps and fun bows, and I really like the dreamcatcher pattern on the fabric. I know, there's barely enough material there to even see the print that well in this picture, lol, but trust me that is what it is ;)

My final look of the night is the charming JUMO Originals - JOURDAN Gown Summer prize, just right for an evening out, perhaps this coming weekend :) There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Maitreya, and Signature mesh bodies, plus a HUD with 6 colors and a bonus of 2 chokers in different widths. The details make the difference here too, like the deep plunging neckline and central slit on the skirt, lace embroidery at the hem, and a shimmery built in belt. The BIG choker is the one I'm wearing on the right, and I chuckled when it reminded me of the big salad of Seinfeld fame. If you have a different necklace you'd prefer to wear with this beauty, I'm sure it will look just as nice too since that neckline can frame a wide range of styles.

I'd say that it was a quiet day, but only in the sense of my not going out...it was rather noisy from all the fireworks tonight 🎆. The weather was decent enough for it, so I'm sure the folks in the neighborhood who were outside watching were able to enjoy them. I don't hate fireworks, just the loud noises catching me off guard can be off-putting and the worry for pets and humans who might not handle the sounds well. I also witnessed a misfortune in my childhood of a neighbor's girlfriend getting injured by their fireworks, let's just say she no longer has all 10 fingers. That makes me think they should be left to the pros, or at least people who are 100% sober adults. I am looking forward to my parents' tomorrow for dinner, our version of a BBQ, and just checking in to make sure they are both doing okay. There are still tiny firsts happening to them regularly, like this will be the first BBQ without planning on setting food aside for my grandma. She usually cooked extra and now has to scale down a bit, or I may wind up with lots of leftovers. Wonderful Womenstuff

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we begin to explore the Womenstuff Hunt 2022, which I cannot begin to express how excited I am that they are back! There are some changes from previous rounds, with one notable difference being that all prizes are free instead of $0L or $1L designer's choice. They are still hiding inside red t-shirts with the Womenstuff logo on them, and there are over 100 participating stores so it is a bounty of beautiful treats :) Initially they indicated that the HUD was necessary to get from store to store, for which you need the Womenstuff group tag ($50L to join) to obtain the HUD from their headquarters. However, a designer shared a link in a group notice to a list of all the stores and landmarks, so I am sharing that link here. I am in the group and obtained the HUD, and transferred a copy to Xan since he wanted to help me hunt even if he cannot use any of the prizes. When you land at a location, a hunt greeter will tell you the hint in local chat so you can find the prize easier. It is a good thing we have the entire month to find all of these t-shirts, LOL, since the current count I believe is 117 stops. Many thanks to all of the generous participating designers!

My first look this evening is the prize from Vulnus called Medea Outfit Bubblegum. Its bare shouldered long sleeve blouse and pants with rear pockets and wide legs are each provided in Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. I was drawn to the cheerful color, and the bohemian flavor from the bellbottoms and flared sleeves. 

If you need a little black dress, be sure to find the t-shirt at LUXE Paris so you can claim their pretty BIRKIN Dress. The prize includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, and the dress has a deep V plunge both front and back. The bell sleeves are trimmed with just a hint of white lace, and the top has a very subtle eyelet lace type pattern embossed for added visual interest. 

Another pretty in pink outfit is the Bronte Babygirl Pink prize from YoUnique Couture. The top and skirt are each provided in eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique body sizing, with a sweet quilted pattern and ruffles on both. The sweetheart neckline and tiny peek of midriff are fun touches, and I am feeling summery in this look.

Next we have the sexy JUMO Originals - GLORIA Dress 006 Mint prize. This one-shouldered dress fits eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Signature, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Minim mesh bodies. There is also a HUD included with 3 texture choices, one of which is the floral on the left above and the others are shades of green lace. This dress is certainly sheer, and does have a C-string panty liner built in for a touch of modesty. It is not really visible from behind though, so that rear view is quite cheeky ;) I love the beautifully tied bow atop the right side slit and the one on the back holding the straps in place like a neatly wrapped gift. 

My final look this evening is the GGVG prize called PAMIR GOWN, and it can be worn two different ways for extra versatility. The top and skirt fit together perfectly and each come in a classic M size as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. There is also a prim skirt included with lots of flexi motion, that I am wearing on the left above but omitted on the right so you could see the mesh skirt on its own. We can wear it either way, so it all depends on your personal tastes :) I remember when flexi and prims were our only skirt options other than the system skirts, so sometimes the movement makes me nostalgic in a good way.

Mondays are less gloomy with something positive to look forward to, so my time working on this hunt with Xan brightened my day and I expect will be a part of at least some of this coming week. Teamwork helps because we can each take one half of a large store to explore, or we might think about the hint in a different way so we talk it over and do our best together. It is not the only hunt on the horizon this month for us, but certainly the largest, and I am delighted that it is back :) I hope you're all having a lovely day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
