Hiya everyone! There are a few $1L hunts around the grid that have some really fun offerings, and tonight I am sharing a couple of the Who's Who Hunt 2 prizes with you. That is a Doctor Who theme and I am new to that world so not very knowledgeable yet, but can definitely appreciate these prizes regardless. Then I visited a nightclub type area with lots of lucky boards, Black Fox, to see what new goodies I could show you from those. Let's have a look, shall we?
Our first look is the Who's Who prize from Emerald Couture, whose outfit is a single mesh piece in many sizes- 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and Hourglass versions too. I love the design on the front, and the smaller hidden one on the back :) Just a single linden for this fun outfit, once you find the question mark of course.
Another fun outfit from the Who's Who hunt is this prize from Cupcake Clothing, their Doctor Who #4 Outfit. It includes the wrap top and the freak'n jeans in olive, and I googled to see what the connection with the 4th doctor is. Turns out he wore a scarf with a very similar print to our top :) I'm sure I've seen scarves in connection with Doctor Who around the grid and just never knew which doctor, but I'm learning. Each part of this outfit is provided in 5 sizes, all for that little $1L.
How about some lucky board prizes? Head over to Black Fox and you will find dozens of boards, a huge assortment of gifts to be won including the lovely Kaiya-Asia dress in several patterns. On the left above is the prize in yellow, and on a separate board you can win the red version on the right. They have a delightful glow to them, and those little slits on the sides are eye-catching as well. Each are provided in Small, Medium, and Large sizes.
Another prize you can find on those lucky boards is the very generous BCF Christmas Set, which includes the fantasy dress, high heel boots, overs scarf, and ladies leggings which are each boxed separately. I think I like the dress best without the scarf and probably without the leggings, but with those sexy boots (which are for the classic avatar feet) but it's up to you how you choose to mix and match this one. I also appreciate that despite the name, this is not limited to a holiday.
Last look of the night, this is also a lucky board prize from Black Fox. This is courtesy of M.I.X. and is simply called Knit Dress. It's provided in a single size which fit me just fine, and is a very comfy looking loose fit with a flared skirt.
Nail note of the night: I chose a Marketplace free gift for the evening, from A:S:S called Metal Dreams. It comes in 8 lustrous colors, with HUDs for Slink, Belleza, Maitreya, and Omega. This is a terrific gift, and for free is a real treasure :)
My day...well I am still reeling from the loss of Alan Rickman, as if David Bowie weren't bad enough. Same age, same dreadful disease, it is unspeakably awful. I am trying to be my usual cheerful self, but a part of me is hiding in a blanket fort with a doe plushie, occasionally whispering "Always".

Hiya everyone! I discovered a delightful festival today and am thrilled to share with all of you. It is called the Bon Odori Festival and is a huge gathering of lucky boards with a twist...you have to dance to be able to click the boards :) There is a large circle of dance pads that rotate around a tower or scaffold in the center, and it is surrounded by the stands of lucky boards. After you have been dancing for 2 minutes, you're eligible to click any board that comes up with your initial, and they are set to change at random times. I found it best to pay attention to the announcements in local chat when the letters change, and then you know to look for it as you pass by :) There are a wide variety of prizes available, so let's have a look at some of the clothing and accessory ones.
First we have this terrific dress from 10*4 simply called Tank Dress. You know I love pink, and this soft dusky shade is wonderful! The wording on the left side of the skirt says Creative Days, I know it's not easy to see in this photo. You will receive all standard mesh sizes in this prize.
Another fun dress with another shade of pink, this is a lucky board prize from Crystal Dream. That heart shaped cutout is adorable, and the turtleneck is a separate piece so you can go without if you prefer. You'll receive the S and XS mesh sizes of the dress in this prize, along with system layer underpants and undershirt.
This lovely prize is from milky-way, and is called Mini Yukata-Ume-. It includes one size of yukata, the obi (2 pieces), and the geta (sandals) for Slink flat feet as shown or regular system feet. The details are just exquisite!
How about a very pretty high-waisted bikini? This prize is by M.I.X. and all standard mesh sizes are provided. I haven't seen anything quite like it, modest bottom and rear but alluring peeks of skin from the tied top.
This is such a cute style, isn't it? Have a look at our prize from Shiorin Mart, called =CS= KIYOMIZU BON-ODORI PRIZE 2015. This mesh bikini comes with all standard mesh sizes, and I dressed it up with another lucky board prize called Apple Earrings. Sadly they don't have a store name anywhere on the box or in the name, all I know is they were created by Emily18 Weiz who doesn't have a store in her picks at all. I love the way the bite in the apple is filled with a diamond texture :)
Nail note of the night: I went with a simple but elegant solution from the marketplace, By Snow's French Natural free gift. They go with everything, and suit any length nail quite well. I was rather delayed by the asset server issues this morning, and not being able to unpack things or change clothing when I first wanted to, so now it's all better just in time for the Tuesday rolling insanity ;)

Hiya everyone! Tonight's blog is later than I expected, but I've had a wonderful weekend and am back to 'normal' ;) I made a great discovery recently, a new-to-me shopping center called Mofumofu that may be new to SL but I recognized many of the store names from other areas. The best part is that there is a cluster of fantastic lucky boards in the middle of the shopping area, and tonight I'm showing you some of the prizes to be won there.
First we have both prizes from the 2 lucky boards from Chika Labo, the mesh shirt and skirt, both in camo patterns. I don't read/speak Japanese so I have no idea what the shirt says, and google translate didn't recognize the name as anything. Oh well, I'm digging the pink camo and these pieces work really well as separates or paired together.
I left the skirt on to show you the other shirt I won there, this shirt from M.I.X. with the adorable little squirrel. I've blogged this store's prize from the Kiyomizu hunt as well, so they have a branch there also.
Another store I recognize from Kiyomizu is called Karin, and this is actually similar to their prize from that hunt, but this is their lucky board gift from mofumofu. I love the ease of wearing a single mesh piece outfit and getting the look of a top and shorts, and the design on this one is very colorful and pretty. It definitely deserved a second look for that back view :)
My nail note of the night is that I chose to use the lucky board prize from pulcino I've blogged before, from their Kiyomizu branch, since it's versatile and tied in nicely. My hair is the same as yesterday's blog, still loving it! I'm not sure what I'll be blogging about next, as I've fortunately got a few different possibilities to choose from. Hiya everyone! First of all I'm sorry for not posting yesterday, but everything is fine and I'm very excited to be able to share goodies from one of my favorite seasonal hunts, the Kiyomizu Summer Hunt :) I blogged the spring version of this hunt when I first started blogging. I'll offer the same advice now that I did then, since this hunt is a bit different...some of the prizes are at the Kiyomizu Mall, but some stores put their hunt gift at their main store instead, and the best way to get landmarks is to click one of the large boxes hanging above the streets. Go to the website it directs you to, which is a personalized list (with SLURLs) of the cats you've found and the ones you haven't yet. Oh, did I mention you're looking for ninja cats? :) This round it seems to have a name, Nonno, on the posters. Some of them are TINY hidden as well as any ninja could, hehe, others are flattened and hiding behind things like walls...if you're good at finding things in wireframe that's another useful suggestion. Anyway, let's look at some of the prizes!!
This adorable one-piece romper is our prize from **milky-way (#6) and comes in just the one mesh size shown. The lace edging really complements the delicate floral pattern.
Next we have a dress with a bit of a surprise ;) This is our prize from Hi's, #34 in the hunt, and is called Behind String Dress. It comes with a HUD to change among 4 colors, and I was quite amused when I realized the reason for the name! Glad I was wearing pretty underwear for another gratuitous bum shot rear view with extra view. If you aren't wearing your own panties, the back of this is completely bare other than the ribbons holding things together. I think any pair of panties or bikini bottom you like will do the trick if you want to add some modesty.
For this sweet dress that includes a HUD for both color options shown, you'll want to visit Pulcino and find their ninja cat #18. Each pattern for the ETSU Resort Dress has subtle crochet lace, with a faint plaid design happening as well. Very interesting and unusual :)
Isn't this outfit the cutest? :) This is prize #53 in the hunt, from Karin, and is a one piece mesh shorts and tank set in standard mesh sizes. Love the paw prints trailed down the back and across the front. I accessorized with one of the necklaces from Akorat, #37, their tube pendant in red. A blue version is also included, so it can add a special touch to so many of your favorite outfits.
Last but certainly not least, we have some fantastic daisies on two different prizes. The lovely blue romper is prize #10 from Hapi*Rabi, a one piece mesh in standard sizes with attached belt. In a fun coincidence, #11 M.I.X. is offering the lovely (and matching) gift of a Gerbera headband that can be adjusted to fit on your favorite hairstyles.

Hiya everyone! I have just a few things to share with you for tonight, as we gear up for a new month and all the things that means in SL...new hunts, monthly group gifts, that sort of goodness. For today, let's start out with a look at a beautiful group gift.
This is one of those amazing dresses that you just have to get a look at front and back! If you love it as much as I do, head on over to Braham Design and join their group for free, and right there at the front door you'll see this beauty. It comes with the earrings shown, they were both set for the right ear so I had to attach one to the left ear and adjust it all around, and it comes with 2 large rings that I couldn't quite get adjusted to my satisfaction so I left them off. I think they were both left hand rings so I switched one to the right. This dress is HOT!
Then I checked back in at the Kiyomizu Mall, and found out that several stores had been added to that spring hunt since last I looked. This jacket, which comes in mens and womens versions, is from #85 Miyabi. Such a subtle pattern on the jacket, and that regal dragon on the back is the perfect touch. Then I peeked in my folder and realized there were a couple others I never showed you...
I know that the colors don't match, strictly speaking, but this is 2 different hunt gifts and it was easiest to show you this way :) The top is from #50 Pulcino, a very pretty sweater with an adorable heart design. The skirt is from store #1 in the hunt, M.I.X., and is a simply gorgeous color with a versatile style to pair with your favorite tops.
My nails in these photos are a marketplace freebie, and even though they only indicated being for hands, they did appear on my toes as well. I think that's from the newest Slink foot update. I am still wearing, and getting used to, my Slink hands that I bought yesterday. There are still moments I wonder if I chose the right pose (soooo many to choose from!), and sometimes the immobile fingers strike me as odd, but they are definitely pretty in general.
