Christmas at Palomma Plaza

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I feel like Santa digging into a sack of gifts to pull out some more treats to share, this time from the Palomma Plaza Christmas tree. There are so many wonderful gifts under there, free for all members of their group which is also free to join. I still miss Palomma dearly, but I am comforted by seeing her legacy from The Free Dove continuing in the very same building :) This time of year, it feels right to focus on generosity and kindness while thanking these designers for showing us those very traits. Let's all grab a cup of hot cocoa and open some gifts!

First up, I got festive in our Delicatt Couture - Irene dress Christmas gift. This playful minidress has a single shoulder strap adorned with a bow, and a full skirt speckled with gold. There are sizes for Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies, along with an 8 color HUD. All the shades look amazing with the white trim, black waistband and bow, and of course our gold "Merry Christmas" carefully written on the front. 

Lots of my Christmas wardrobe in SL looks best suited to the North Pole weather, but not this RoxAnne Lindy Dress gift! It's one of 3 gifts I found from them under the tree by the way, randomly selected since I appreciate them all :) This dress has a daring belly cutout and diagonal hemline, two details that are sure to turn heads. We receive Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Peach, and Star mesh body sizes, plus a HUD with 8 texture choices. They are numbered rather than having examples on the HUD, so you get a bit of a fun surprise each time you click one :) 

For those colder days or nights, I'm feeling mighty cozy in the Travesty Velma Christmas gift I also found beneath the tree. It looks like a sweater and skirt but is all one piece, in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. I'm gigging at realizing that this style does in fact resemble the famous outfit of Velma from Scooby Doo, in more December-appropriate colors of course ;) The Santa on the front has a kind expression that also made me smile.

Black Angel has carefully wrapped their RITA XMAS OUTFIT by BA Store for us to find under Palomma's tree, and I'm getting a mix of cheery 80s vibes as well as a sexy modern twist from the harness. That harness as well as the top, skirt, and boots will all fit Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The bow I'm wearing is also provided, and is adjustable so you can fit most hairstyles. The HUD enclosed will let us pick from 10 colors apiece for the bow, top, harness, skirt, and boots, with 5 metals. I'm sure it's the bow that made me think 80s, although the first one I thought of was Madonna and it was a black bow. This one is nicer from being more colorful :)

My final look of the evening will help us look elegant all year long. It is the [Vips Creations] - Female Outfit - [GloriaA] gift, one of several from under the tree, and starts with a high collar gown in 5 standard mesh sizes and a fitmesh version for classic avatars, along with Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. The included HUD offers 9 colors to choose from, and you can just see the ivory heels peeking out from beneath the gown on the right up there...there are Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high feet sizes included. Ivory is a great neutral for any of the gown's colors, and there's a bit of glitter to it so the heels are a terrific addition. 

All I'm going to say about the mouse situation here is that our grand total thus far is 5 caught and released, mostly because one of the traps no longer sets correctly so it is just one trap at a time instead of two. Otherwise my day was focused on the housemate getting the car repaired again (a leak decided to return after prior repair) and a much more fun evening of Hello Kitty gaming :) Friends make everything better, and this particular friend always keeps me up to date on the trends I miss out on (she is on the ticky tocks, and I am not, LOL) and helps suggest places I should check out on my weekly outings. It's encouraging, and she is generally a cheerful sort that boosts my mood every time we talk. Tomorrow is dinner at the parents', and I think she said she's making teriyaki chicken which sounds tasty to me. All Aboard MGSN Gift Train

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've had some more fun with the MGSN Christmas Gift Train, which is a generous tradition of the MGSN or Maitreya Gifts, Sales and News group. If you aren't already a member, you can join for free and look for the gift train notecard in the group notices. That card has the landmarks for each participating store, with photos of each, which is very helpful and makes the train ride an easy and fun one :) Some of the gifts are clearly seasonal while others are suitable for any time of year, so it's okay if you already have your wardrobe decided upon for the next few days. You'll still find something to enjoy, and all for free! I'm very grateful to every designer who is thoughtfully offering gifts, whether I have shared them here or not. 

My first look of the evening is the flirty .:KF:. GIFT SALES GIFTS TRAIN 2024 JUMPSUIT from Kyarafashion. There are Maitreya and Lara X sizes included, and they are 'undress me' scripted so you can allow people to click your clothing to remove it. I really like the red satin of the jumpsuit with the white furry trim for Christmas flavor, and the golden belt is certainly a fun touch :)

This adorable skirt set is our :::FurtaCor:::ADRYELLE_XMAS_SET gift. It includes the sweater, sweater + shirt, and skirt, each in sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The sweater has a very cute reindeer in a red scarf on the front, and the version with shirt has a green plaid collar layered beneath. Either version looks wonderful with the pleated skirt, decorated with lots of fun holiday images.

Travesty is brightening our holidays with their MGSN Christmas Train Gift 2024 sweater dress. It has a fantastic knit texture, well two of them if you use the enclosed HUD ;) We also receive sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Reborn bodies, so it can be worn on several popular brands of mesh body. This is the type of short dress that I also sometimes wear as a tunic top over a pair of leggings, for times when I visit a particularly chilly region in SL. Lots of holiday spots are covered in snow, so boots are a handy addition too.

My first reaction to the Graffitiwear Christmas Train Gift was to think about how Mrs. Claus was a young and vibrant woman once, so maybe she wore a spicy outfit like this :) Our coat, skirt, and boots are all provided in sizes to fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The coat covers the breasts but reveals some cleavage, while falling almost to the knee so considerably past the miniskirt. I really like the style of the boots, mid height with slender heels and inner zippers.

I'm wrapping up my night with another great gift that is loaded with sex appeal :) The M&M STYLE-LYNN outfit is pretty in pink, with a short romper, cropped top, and thigh high boots that all fit Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The necklace I'm wearing is also included, as is a leather cap not shown here. Both of these have resize scripts to adjust them if necessary, which is always helpful because I usually find that hats need lots of enlarging for me while the necklaces tend to run large already and need some reducing. There is also a box inside the folder with another pair of boots, which I unpacked and found to be a lovely shade of red just right for the holidays. 

Wow, having a midweek holiday coming up is confusing the daylights out of me! I really just thought for a second that it was still the weekend, despite knowing that I went to a podiatrist appointment this afternoon so it had to be a weekday. Paparazzi Group Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I gave myself a Lady Gaga earworm by exploring some of the many stores who are part of the Paparazzi Fashion group. Many of them offer gifts for the Paparazzi group members, and since it's free to join that means these gifts are fully complimentary. Even better, they are complimentary as in free, and complementary as in helping you look even more stunning :) My only paparazzi-like tendency is towards myself taking all these photos, although the lyrics "I'm your biggest fan" does describe how I feel about some of my favorite designers, just not in a creepy way. Mostly in a "must purchase all the things" way, and spread the word about them as I do here. Of course the only following I recommend is doing so on social media, which supports the designers in their hard work.

My first look of the evening comes from FAVOR, and is called Elly Dress. This charming mini is made of black denim and even has jeans-like pockets on the rear, with black lace at the hem. I really like the way the front is laced like a corset, loosely closed at the top for extra cleavage :) There are eBody Classic, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies included in this gift, and like most of these stores there are gifts for other multi-designer groups as well.

Take a walk on the wild side with the [>Ma'De<] Lexi ~ August 2022 gift for Paparazzi, which is fortunately still available. The fun style makes it look like a two piece outfit from behind, but the bra and skirt are connected on the sides. How fun is that zebra pattern on soft pink satin? Claim this gift and you'll receive sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. Ma'De is on the same region/sim as FAVOR, so don't be surprised if you teleport from one to the other and it doesn't do a full teleport screen/sound :)

MyLord&MyLady is offering their &ML& Gift dress for the Paparazzi group, yours for free just by visiting. It is a formfitting strapless mini in a pale purplish pink, with wedges of sheer white mesh (not SL mesh but fishnet type mesh) decorated with intricate swirls. There are Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Signature Alice, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes included in our generous gift.

Next I visited the Travesty store, where I found this flirty Beat The Heat shorts set in a small box on the floor in front of the group gifts. I hovered over it and saw this group name pop up, and lo and behold it is a gift for us :) The slender tube top and high waisted shorts each fit Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Maitreya, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The smiling suns made me especially happy, and just in time for summer!

My final look tonight is a fantastic choice for June which is just about here, thanks to the bright rainbow of hearts :) It's the S-Valentina dress 5 from Suna Design, one of many gifts available for various groups but this one of course is for Paparazzi. It includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Signature Alice, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The heart shaped cutouts on the front work really well with the pattern, and the hemline is notably short so you might want to find your favorite panties from your inventory to slip on when wearing this in public. You can see from the rear view that it gets awfully cheeky ;) The red trim accentuates the fabric print very nicely, and there are tiny LOVE words in rainbow colors among the pretty hearts. Wear this for Pride month or wear it year round, as a celebration of love.

It has been a quiet day of worrying about people, not the most productive or exciting but it just worked out that way. One of the people closest to me is dealing with a health issue, so my worrywart side is in full effect, and I'm generally stuck in a pattern of waiting for other people to make decisions that will affect me. Palomma Plaza

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a special place to invite you to, that is very dear to my heart. The Palomma Plaza is located on the same region/sim as the previous Free Dove (Gallii), and after we lost Palomma in January it was uncertain what the fate of her hard work would be. The new collaboration is in the same build that she worked so hard to craft, so there is a familiar elegance and beauty to the building itself :) It is very similar to The Free Dove in that there is a free group to join (Palomma Plaza, group tag reads Doves Angels) with lots of generous gifts available to all with that tag and more to come. The upstairs still has a shopping mall too, so you can indulge and treat yourself to some retail therapy whenever you wish as well. It is a fond tribute to a wonderful person, and I will be happily visiting here quite often to see what is new. I'm showing you gifts from just two of the many participating designers, just a small taste of the treats that await.

My first look of the evening is our Graffitiwear Palomma Gift 1, a pairing of bare shouldered sweater and teeny tiny denim mini skirt. The textures are terrific, from the subtle multicolor knit of the sweater to the skirt's dark denim with detailed seams and pockets. 

Next I had some flirty fun with the Graffitiwear Palomma Gift 2 :) This set consists of a solid dress, sheer version of that dress, and pair of thong panties, so you can decide if you are feeling naughty or nice by selecting which dress and whether to wear the panties beneath. It was a fairly productive day, and I managed to get stage one of the dental work scheduled for Thursday morning. It will include 2 crowns which will be those fun temporary crowns, LOL, leading to another appointment for permanent crown insertion about a week later. That one isn't scheduled just yet. Dentist visits mean nitrous which means no blog post that evening, but as we wrap up the month of May I am starting to focus on what to blog in the new month from fresh rounds of events and hunts. So taking an extra day off at the end of the month isn't as bad as towards the beginning when there is still a bounty of time-limited items. I have a podiatrist visit on Wednesday too, just a couple ingrown toenails that need attention, but no delay for my blogging. Just a very busy week, and not necessarily a fun one. Fortunately I still have plenty of places to explore in SL with Xan for my downtime, or we just hang out at home with the virtual pets :) It soothes the soul, as any good hobby should. More Summer Vibes from Bundle of Dove

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am excited to share some more special findings from the current Bundle of Dove event called Summer Vibes. These talented designers have created some exclusive offers for our pleasure, and you will find discounted selections along with a few gifts because they are generous that way :) The event itself is decorated beautifully as always, in a seasonal theme that is a visual delight. We have until the 14th of July to explore the event and try out demos, so take your time and enjoy yourself!

This is our exclusive offer from Travesty, a stunning fatpack called Summertide. The dress comes in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing, while the shoes are fitted for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and Tonic feet. So many summer outfits have bold colors, yet I found this simple black and white combo refreshing in its distinctiveness.

My final look of the evening can be found at the Moonstar display, and is their free gift for Bundle of Dove visitors. It is called White Cheetah Swimsuit and Sunglasses, and I must say that the heart shaped shades with built in resize script are a fantastic treat to accessorize the swimsuit with. The suit comes in 5 classic and 5 fitmesh sizes for classic avatars, as well as Maitreya and Physique versions for mesh bodies. The styling is relatively modest while being very striking thanks to the bold print. I am certainly ready to visit the beach!

As the weekend comes to a close, I am focusing on staying cool in this hot weather, and planning some exciting posts for the week ahead :) There is always something new to see or do in SL, and that makes me a very happy magpie. Hiya everyone! Tonight we get fancy and flirty with some prizes from the Womenstuff Hunt 2019, which runs all month and has well over 100 prizes for either $0L or $1L. The participating stores have red and white t-shirts hidden in them, just follow the hints on the website which will also tell you which prizes were created exclusively for this event. So much to see, there are clothing and accessories like jewelry and shoes among these generous gifts.

My first look of the evening is an exclusive full outfit from Travesty, hidden inside their shirt for free. It consists of the sexy t-shirt with single sleeve and matching mini skirt each in fitmesh standard sizes plus Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. The shoes (Belleza, Maitreya, Slink High sizes) and bracelet for the left wrist are included too, so you can get dressed with a few clicks and be fully coordinated to go anywhere.

Next we take a look at the $1L prize from MELANGE!NC called =That's a Wrap Rompe'=. It includes standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizes. There is also a HUD that offers 9 texture choices, just click the button on the bottom left and a blue menu will open on your upper right screen. Choose a letter and see what it is :) The two above were randomly selected so I don't recall now which letters these textures were, but they were all lovely.

My final look tonight is the exclusive gift from zOOm, yours for only one linden when you locate that t-shirt. It is called Star Tank&Thong, and they are separate pieces so you can wear them individually if you wish. Each comes in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya versions, with silvery stars on the tank top and the word ZOOM on the front of the thong.
