Freestyle Fantasy Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post has us treasure hunting, at the Freestyle Fantasy shopping & treasure hunt event. We are looking for actual treasure chests that open when you click them, revealing gold coins inside, but we receive something more useful in SL than coins; that would be a folder with a prize inside, clothing or home decor among the possibilities :) I always enjoy the hunts here at Long Beach and Wonderland Beach, such generous designers taking part in each round. This particular one is open until August 19th.

For my first look of the evening I combined two terrific prizes. The top is our Angel's Amazing Creations SH0027 Black feather shirt, which is provided in classic M and fitmesh M sizes for classic avatars, as well as versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. Naturally as a bird person I'm loving the motif :) The shirt goes really well with the Simply Foxie Rainbow Jeans Short Shorts prize, don't you think? These distressed denim shorts will fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies. Both gifts are going to pair up with lots of your favorite wardrobe staples, I'm sure, for those days when you are in the mood to match up cute separates.

I kept the shorts on, slipped out of the shirt, and added another prize from N3W M00N called Pen Doodle Leaves - Tattoo - Black. This gorgeous body art is provided as system/BOM layers in 35%, 50%, 75%, and full opacity versions. I'm wearing the 75% for a slightly less bold look than full, but still clear for photos. I adore the design, a beautifully drawn pen between the leaves and scrolls that have been doodled. 

The treasure chest at @rOrO holds their lovely Cotton Candy Evelyn Dress, so just give it a click and you can claim it for free :) There are sizes for Erika, Lara X, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, all with that great ombre of teal and hot pink. The collar is a fun shape, and the hem has a playful scooped cutout in the front that shows off a little extra leg.

Next I slipped into a flirty catsuit or two, thanks to the Snake Skin Jumpsuit Set Gift from Whymsical Marketplace. There are three colors total - albino (left above), brown (right), and green, each in Maitreya and Petite versions. I must admit the albino is darker than I expected, which is not a bad thing and I am definitely a fan of all three colors :) The green not shown is both dark and vibrant, with the same fantastic snakeskin print. 

My final look of the evening is our ~MystRie~ Forest Maiden prize, which is a stunning ensemble that can serve as a roleplay costume as well as everyday wear. The lacy wrap dress comes in a fitmesh M as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. Then they've added the adjustable headband, and separate boxes inside for the arm and leg wraps by size - Belleza, eBody, Maitreya, Slink, and Tonic. I feel like a nature spirit like a dryad in this ♥.

Monday, Monday...it wasn't a bad day really, just long because of poor quality sleep. I kept waking up and having weird dreams when I did get sleep, like horror movie type scenarios that is particularly odd when I've never really watched those. The week ahead is not strictly planned (no set appointments) so I'm not sure what I'll be doing tomorrow yet. At least I know SL will be a big part of it :) Prepping this blog, notes and photos, was a little frustrating because I had some glitches like a dress I did not share because every time I changed its color via HUD, it went sheer. That was not its intended state, lol, and detaching/reattaching worked a couple of times but not consistently enough to get photos so I wound up skipping it. Find the Keys to Enchantment

Hiya everyone! Tonight's post starts with a wonderful offer found at the Enchantment event by Entice, and continues with several prizes from the Enchantment Hunt. It is a free gridwide hunt in which we will be seeking a gold key at each store, and the theme of Enchantment this round is Alice in Wonderland so many of the prizes are nods to that classic story. The event and hunt are open until the 31st, so you have over a week remaining to take part in these terrific opportunities.

My first look is the adorable Entice - Alice in Wonderland Tank and Alice in Wonderland Shorts, each of which can be found at the Enchantment event at a discounted price. They are each offered in individual colors for $150L each, or (my recommendation) the fatpacks for $450L each where you will find 2 bonus colors for a total of 10, via HUD. The tank fatpack HUD even has an extra plus, the ruffle on the front and back of the neckline can be changed to your choice of 5 colors with that exclusive HUD. The shorts have solid versions and patterned ones, and if you look closely you should be able to notice the Alice in Wonderland design on those patterns. Meanwhile, this style is perfect for summer and I have been wearing this outfit quite a bit already while hunting and exploring SL. No matter which you choose, it will include sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The next treat I have to share is a hunt prize from Vanilla Bae called Tillie Necklace Fat Pack, a very pretty chain with a key pendant and a fun bow. The necklace itself comes in Maitreya and unrigged versions, and there is a HUD included that offers 6 metal colors and 21 ribbon colors to choose from. I am still wearing the Entice outfit above, changed to a red option from the fatpack HUD, so I chose a matching red for the necklace ribbon and a soft yellow gold for the metal. There are so many combinations that it will certainly match whatever you choose to wear it with, and the key is a cute reminder of the hunt object.

Next we visit Have Unequal to find their hunt prize, the Trinity Dress Alice. It is provided in sizes for Maitreya and Slink Hourglass, and is such a flirty style with those geometric cutouts down each side. The ombre color is a great touch too, should be flattering with many hair colors and skin tones.

Love has a playful gift hiding in their golden key, this Risky Dress & Heel Boots in White. The dress and boots each come in sizes for Maitreya and Hourglass, and the outfit makes quite an impression coming or going...that cheeky short skirt (yep, pun intended) and the hint of pink on the sole of the boots. This is definitely worth the effort of hunting for it.

One last look of the evening, this is the Queen Of Hearts Dress/Headdress from Whymsical Marketplace. The dress is provided in fitmesh standard sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, and the headdress has a resize script built in on touch. Just find the hidden key and you can claim this elegant outfit for free.

Tomorrow my father is having surgery, so I am not sure if I will have time to get a blog together or not but I will try my best. This is one of those times when real life has to come first, and my family needs me. Anyone who is so inclined to offer prayers, positive energy, healing vibes, anything of that nature would be greatly appreciated :) He is very healthy otherwise and I believe in my heart that he will have a safe recovery, I'm just a worrier at heart so I'm anxious. Give Peace a Chance

Hiya everyone! You can probably guess from my title what tonight's post will be showing you, prizes from the Peace On Earth 10 Hunt. This is a massive hunt with nearly 300 designers who have hidden globes somewhere in their store, and I highly recommend having their website open as a reference both for the hints and landmarks. Sometimes a hint globe on the sign at each store takes a while to rez, or a globe hasn't been changed yet to reflect that the next stop's store has moved, it is a very handy guide and I am impressed by the organizers' ability to keep it up to date. I am also impressed with the quality of the prizes in this round, and I hope you enjoy them too.

First we have this charming gown from Siss Boom, named Peace On Earth Formal, a long mesh dress with an optional lace flexi attachment. The dress is included in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes, and the flexi train does add some movement and fullness if you choose to add it. I love the pale sage green color, just a slight tint that makes a big difference.

This fun look is our hunt prize from Sweet E's, their Christmas Coco Dress, which made me think of a holiday fairy. It comes in standard mesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. The textures are intriguing, a slight floral pattern on the green I believe, and you can see from the back view that we are laced into this cutie with bright red ribbons. Just find their globe to claim this for yourself.

This gorgeous coat dress can be found inside the globe of Whymiscal Marketplace, simply named Blue Christmas Gown. It comes in standard mesh sizes and works very well with any mesh body that lets you alpha out sections. I was drawn to the lush furry collar and cuffs, the lovely snowflake design, and the peek of more white fur on the front of the skirt. Such an elegant way to stay warm on any chilly day.

If you are in the mood for a flirty silver outfit, head to ALTER and locate their hidden globe, which will give you their Meg outfit in SNOW. The mini dress with pretty skirt layer attached comes in sizes for Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, while the matching peeptoe pumps come in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high versions. There are also rings for each hand included, as well as the steampunk watch on my right wrist, all of which have resize scripts so you can adjust them as needed. 

Our next peek is from B&T Mesh Studio, whose hunt gift includes a playful sweater with a matching pencil skirt. The sweater reads "Give Me a Kiss" and comes in standard mesh sizes plus Maitreya, Slink Physique, and a fitted version, while the skirt is included in standard fitmesh sizes and Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink fits. The bright golden accents provide a festive touch, don't they? Just add your favorite shoes and you are ready to go claim that kiss.

It was a busy day, not bad though, and tomorrow will be just as packed with things to do. Actually the next several days are going to be hectic, which is normal for this time of year for many of us. Cart Sale and Renaissance Hunt Treats

Hiya everyone! Tonight once again I am thrilled to share a few glimpses of the many bargains to be found at the Wash Cart Sale, whose current round has a theme of Indian Summer. It is a bit warmer where I am than usual for September, so I can relate very well but would enjoy these amazing offerings regardless. The hunt I am currently working on, and sharing prizes from, is the Renaissance VI Hunt which is a free gridwide hunt starting at a charming Renaissance Fair. These may sound like drastically different ideas between the cart sale and the hunt, but each offers plenty of charm and opportunity to explore new areas, new stores, and amazing shopping.

My first look is actually two, but both found at the same cart at the Wash, that of Daisy's Closet. I felt very feminine and flirty in both the Vallium Dress in Cherry Blossom on the left, and the Hyacinth Romper in Butterfly on the right. For just $10L per outfit, each is provided in 8 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, and each style is offered in other colors/patterns too. Perhaps you are in the mood for something in more of a teal or aqua color, then Luziefee has a charming Gladys dress that might be right up your alley. This is Gladys 2, just one of six colors on offer at the cart sale, and they are $10L each for a pack of standard sizes. The delicate lace collar and the long sleeves are just right for the cooler days ahead, while the breezy skirt will ensure you don't feel too covered up. I combined two hunt prizes to come up with a truly regal look here. The gown is from Whymsical Marketplace (#014) and this is their gorgeous Queen Marie Antoinette Gown and it is included in standard mesh sizes. I love that collar! There are matching shoes for Slink High hiding under the gown, that same stunning blue shade. I accessorized with the lovely Drakenshard Necklace from ~*W I L L O W*~ in their Ladies version, the mens version is also provided in their free prize. They are stop #005 in the hunt, and create some really eye-catching jewelry so I always enjoy visiting there. Be sure to say hello to the handsome reindeer out front of the store.

For something a bit darker, a visit to #017 Tayren's Fantasy Fashions is in order. This is their Necromancer Sorceress Costume (there is also a Sorcerer for the gents) and includes many components along with a notecard detailing the history of necromancy which I found quite interesting. The hooded gown you see here comes in standard mesh sizes, and the horns, bone necklace, and skull candle staff shown are included as well. Included but not shown are a fair skin, a shape, a pair of slippers, and tintable hair that works well with the hood. 

One last look for the evening, these are the beautiful nails I've been enjoying today from the Dark Knight Decor cart. Just $10L gets you these fantastic Bohemian Summer Nails for Slink.
