MGSN Group Goodies

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting several wonderful stores to pick up their generous gifts for the MGSN group. That stands for Maitreya Gifts, Sales and News, so all of the gifts should fit that body; some are compatible with other brands too, coming in various sizes or sometimes BOM which works for most bodies. I did switch from my Lara X body to my 5.3, since some of these gifts I found are a bit older and do not have a size for the Lara X. It's really easy to switch though, and I do recommend having an outfit folder for each body so you can add/remove your bodies, HUDs, and if you choose to use a different shape for each, you can swap them out quickly. It's also worth mentioning that the MGSN group is currently free to join, so this is a very budget-friendly post :)

My first look comes from smesh, and is their lovely Gift Dress To MGSN Group. The mini dress has a high neckline to counterbalance that short, short hem, and it comes in Maitreya and Petite sizing. There is also a transparency HUD included, with + and - buttons as well as an Off button to return to full opacity. On the right above I clicked the + button a few times to make the fabric somewhat sheer, which gives the bold pink color a softer salmon tone. 

This gorgeous pairing is our Delicatt Couture - Hellen Outfit gift. The shirt fits Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Hourglass Petite, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, while the skirt comes in a standard fitted size along with Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. I'm sure it won't surprise you to see that we also receive a HUD with it, with 14 choices each for the top and skirt. Most of the top's textures are patterns, with a couple solids mixed in for good measure, and the skirt can match any of the patterns with a solid color. One detail I can't help but admire is the daisy-shaped lace on the neckline and the skirt's hem, really pulling the look together :)

Next I visited the incredibly generous Hilly Haalan store, teleported to the gifts building (TP pad where you land) and walked to the back left corner where I spied an MGSN group sign. There are a few great gifts here for this group, so I'm sharing two of them in the same look above :) The [hh] Gift Aileen Dress is the beauty on the left, and the equally striking [hh] GIFT FOR MGSN Divya Dress is the wrap dress I'm wearing on the right. Each of these are provided in a size to fit the Maitreya mesh body, and I really appreciate both their similarities and their differences. Aileen has a flirty slit on the right thigh, while Divya's wrapped front gives a tulip type opening in the front to show off a little leg too :) I also got a kick out of the contrast of the pale pink Aileen to the deep burgundy that Divya is sporting.

I need casual athleisurewear type outfits in SL too of course, so .: AlmaMiranda :. MGSN Animal Print Track Suit fits that bill in style :) We receive the tank top and pants each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. The pants have a black stripe down each leg, matching the waistband, leg cuffs, and the edging on the tank top. As I mentioned yesterday too, I really enjoy animal prints for playful moods.

My final look this evening is a terrific gift from a store who is a go-to for me when it comes to these multi-designer group gifts :) The MONOMANIA - Dynamics outfit has a sporty lifted tank top and fun pants with racing stripes, which each fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The coordinated sneakers are designed for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink flat feet, so they work with the same sizes/bodies as our clothing. So where is the best park nearby with a walking or jogging path? :)

Gifts for SLMB Group

 Hiya everyone! Tonight is related to last night's post but not really a continuation, as instead of visiting the SLMB Group event, I decided to visit some of the participating designers' stores and share the group gifts available at each. The SLMB or ^^SL Mesh Body group has a small $9L fee to join, but staying in the group is well worth it as I'm happy to show you :) 

My first visit of the evening was Alma Miranda, where I claimed their lovely Chinese Dress gift. It has a high notched collar, long sleeves, and a fluttery short skirt, all with fantastic pattern of clouds being blown about by gentle winds. The gift includes sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. 

The August group gift from Delicatt Couture is called Aida mini dress - Gothic texture, and it's giving me early Halloween vibes :) This flirty mini dress has a deeply draped top and plunging back with crossed straps, but the main event seems to be the sheer midriff with cobwebs above silhouettes of spooky trees. There are Altamura, eBody Curvy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizes included, as well as a HUD with 8 colors to tint the background and cobwebs. 

I can never seem to resist a well-textured animal print, so the MD Bodysuit "Kenza" - Leo/White GG from Mu-Shi Doll is right up my alley. It fits Freya, Isis, Kupra, Bimbo, Low, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The high collar and built in belt are terrific details, just like that cleavage-baring opening all the way down to the waist!

Next I headed to the W.G STORE where I found their generous Gamora Dress gift for SLMB. Its top is daringly wrapped and the skirt forms a V in the front, while showing off a cheeky rear view :) There are Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes, along with a HUD that offers 10 color options. 

For my final look of the evening, I visited V8 Underground and their bounty of gifts for many different groups. The treat for SLMB is their **CONSTANCE MANSHUL GREY ROMPER**, a layered one piece outfit in sizing for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The main material looks soft like a sweatshirt, with a white tank top adorned with a skull image on the front, and a matching white belt built in that is just below the natural waistline. They've always been so generous, and I appreciate all of their gifts just as I do everyone who offers us free goodies like this.

It was a quiet day which is fine with me :) I've got some exploring to do in SL later, as I am always following leads on gifts and bargains but lately I can only teleport about 4 or 5 times before crashing. That started with the new PBR compatible Firestorm, so I am just gritting my teeth and hoping they figure out how to remedy that quickly. I went from crashing about once a month to multiple times a day, and nothing about my PC or internet connection changed. MGSN Gift Train

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to tell you about the fun and generous MGSN Gift Train, which is a tour of participating stores of the MGSN or Maitreya Gifts, Sales and News group. It is free to join, and this seems to be a recurring celebration this time of year :) I do recall sharing some of last year's gifts, and now we've got a whole new batch of limited time treats to help you celebrate the season. There is a Christmas theme among some of the gifts, but not exclusively, so even if you do not celebrate or already have you fill of holiday fashions, you can still find plenty that will suit simply winter or any season. We have the rest of the month to claim these particular goodies, so we'd better hurry! Most of these designers have other gifts out for the MGSN group, so might as well have a peek while you're aboard the gift train.

Composer Girls Fashion is embracing the holiday season with their gift train gift, called !CGF-*Playful Christmas* Outfit. It consists of the halter top, jacket, and two pairs of shorts (high-cut on the left above or the original style on the right) in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, with a matching thigh socks/sneakers combo in Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, and Physique sizing. The candy cane mouthie can be adjusted, and the festive hat can too especially with the built in resize script. We can mix up the way we wear this by adding all the parts or just some, customizing the look for our personal style.

For a touch of snowflakes on a dark backdrop of poinsettias, we have the lovely .:AlmaMiranda:. Christmas Train Dress. This made me think of a little black dress but elevated for the season :) There are sizes for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy mesh bodies provided for this beauty.

One of the non-seasonal gifts I mentioned earlier would be our ::BE BOLD:: Strawberry Show outfit. This adorable top and shorts set are both trimmed in red (slightly festive?) with a print of strawberries and their pretty white blossoms on a blue background. Each piece comes in Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes. Our friends in the southern hemisphere can enjoy this summery treat right now, and those of us in colder climates can simply visit warm locales in SL if we need a break from the snow or chill!

Next I changed into the [DIESEL Deluxe] Carly Outfit Pink + White Boots gift, the combination of which gives me retro 60s vibes with a modern twist. They are both provided in eBody Reborn, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite sizes, and the dress has a terrific amount of shine that makes me think latex. I love how the lacing on the boots is the same color as the dress :)

My final look of the evening is courtesy of [WellMade], their Dany Set GIFT which is just one of many treats they have for various groups including their own :) The strapless dress and cropped jacket each fit eBody Reborn, Juicy Boobs, Erika, Erika Bubble, Freya, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. We also receive a HUD with 2 colors each for dress and jacket, all of which are shown above. There is something so playful about having a traditional knit sweater pattern on the bodice of a formfitting mini dress, don't ya think?

Enticing Fitmesh Fanatics

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have a variety of Fitmesh Fanatics group gifts and a new release from Entice found at Cosmopolitan, so it's a smorgasbord kind of evening :) The Fitmesh Fanatics group is free to join and is a multi-designer group, so we get the news from many stores across the grid. That also means that we have many places to visit and find terrific group gifts, like the ones I am sharing tonight. Over at the newest round of the Cosmopolitan event, Entice has a sporty tank dress for us with an impressive range of colors and options that I'm very pleased to show you.

My first stop on the FMF tour was the .:AlmaMiranda:. store, where they are offering this lovely Fitmesh Fanatics 15K dress as our group gift. The teal blue swirls made me think of whirlpools in a lake or ocean, such a pretty color! We receive sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies along with a standard fitted version. The halter style with sweetheart neckline and scooped sides is a fun and flirty one that I quite enjoy.

Then we take a look at the delightful MONOMANIA - Kymy Juice gift for Fitmesh Fanatics. Its bare shouldered top and wrap mini skirt each fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The russet orange hue of the top is mimicked in the roses on the dark denim skirt for a perfect pairing that certainly caught my eye.

Brunsen Couture has several wonderful gifts for various groups you can find by walking up their staircase, like this Lacone Sexy Dress Blue for FMF. It really does live up to that name, with bandeau top held up by a slender halter strap and lots of ruffles above that extra short hemline. The gift includes sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, and there are other colors among the group gifts as well as other styles altogether. Check them out and see if a group you're already in may have a treat available!

This cute outfit is the [FurtaCor Female] Elizandra Set gift, and yes the bonus beverage is included :) The top and skirt will each fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes, all with a HUD that offers 14 textures for the top and 15 for the skirt. Some are denim, all are lovely :) I'm holding the coffee cup with sleeve in my right hand, and as you can see it has a nice bento hold pose so you don't spill a drop of your tasty pick-me-up. Just a note, there are many different groups' gifts in black bags on a low shelf so please camera your way across the row and find the logo for this group. That is also another good reason to remember which other multi-designer groups you're a part of already and see if you might have an extra treat waiting here.

My final look of the evening is the striking Entice - Love Shack Dress that has just been released at the current Cosmopolitan round, which is open until the 13th. There are 32 individual varieties for sale for $225L apiece, or you can select a fatpack (brights, denim, lights, or rays) which contain 8 of the individuals plus 2 fatpack exclusives for a total of 10 via HUD. These are $599L each so an impressive bargain, but for even more savings you can choose the MEGA fatpack for $1799L which is all 4 fatpacks on one HUD. No matter which you choose, you'll receive sizes for Dainty, Freya, Gen X, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. The fatpack HUDs let you mix and match among the colors in three sections, like I did on the right above among the lights with the pale green and the white. I'm wearing one of the rays on the left, and it certainly does resemble rays of light :) I am marveling at the way this dress is sporty yet flirty, making it very versatile.

It was a bit of a rough day, as I alluded to a health issue yesterday without specifying (sparing gory details, honestly) but it is a cyst or abscess or something along those lines that seems to be infected. I guess run down is the best way to explain how I feel, not sick like a cold but I can tell my body is fighting something. I'll be at the dermatologist's office in 9 hours, which is probably going to be painful, and then I have a very unfortunately timed family birthday celebration at dinnertime. I cannot predict how I'll feel by then, but I really do need to go so at least it's not far at all. Group Gifts and Saturday Sale

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I was in the mood for variety, so I visited some stores who are part of the Mesh Body Friends group and looked for some MBF group gifts. And yes, I did find several that it is my pleasure to share :) The group is free to join, and a good source of information on sales and new releases as well as these gifts. Then for added variety, I have a wonderful sneak peek for you...the Saturday Sale offers from Entice for this round! It will only be a couple of hours early when this post goes live, so you won't have to wait very long to save lots of lindens on these amazing looks.

Our first stop of the evening is the always generous YoU by GeMyles, where I happily picked up the MBF group gift called Jenee Dress. It includes the dress and boots, each in sizing for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. There is also a handy HUD with 32 lovely colors we can use to tint the dress, while the sexy belt on the right hip stays black to match the peeptoe boots. Another generous gift that includes both dress and footwear is our HERO - Giorgia Outfit. I am a fan of animal prints so this certainly caught my eye, and the strapless mini comes in Altamura Sofia, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Signature Alice, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes. The strappy boots fit Altamura Sofia, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, but this dress would look just as appealing with any footwear you wish. I certainly do appreciate having matching or coordinated shoes included in an outfit though :)

[WellMade] is always a fantastic place to visit, so I was not surprised to find the terrific Isabela Dress GIFT among the treats for various groups there. We receive black and brown versions of this single shoulder, asymmetrical dress in sizes for eBody Reborn, Erika, Kupra, Kups, Kupra Squeeze, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The brown is a deep enough shade that the distinction is subtle, yet I'm very glad to have both choices :) I think the dark neutrals will lend themselves very well to accessorizing to dress up or down, add color or keep a monochromatic style, it's all up to you and your personal tastes.

I also stopped by AlmaMiranda, whose offering for the group is simply called Mesh Body Friends gift 07-22. It does have a summery feel which I am grateful for, and fits Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The deep scooped neckline is framed with a hot pink ruffle to match the trim on the skirt and the flowers in the pretty pattern. The ruffle reminds me of a Hawaiian flower lei somehow, just part of the tropical flavor perhaps. Now I really need to wear this to a Hawaiian themed region!

It was a quiet day and a hockey-filled evening, as I wound up watching 2 games in a row that both turned out the way I wanted. Tomorrow evening is dinner with my parents as usual for a Friday, and I am definitely looking forward to it. My cousin asked about our great grandfather and when he immigrated, and my mom found some very old paperwork like birth certificates and marriage certificates for her father's parents, born 1881 and 1884 (same town in Italy) I think it was. They came through Ellis Island, and she found a naturalization card of some sort (green card?) but there was no issue date on it. Genealogy is not my field of expertise, but his wife has an interest so she might be working on a family tree for him. Third Life Group Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are exploring several stores of designers who participate in the Third Life group, which has a small $10L fee to join which is probably to protect from spammers and scammers. I've been a member for several years, and have gotten plenty of handy tips about special offers, sales, gifts, and even some stores that were new to me. I hope you enjoy your visits to these stores as much as I did :)

My first look this evening comes from ConTrato (new to me) called Sunny Skirt & Top - Model 5. The cinched bandeau and maxi skirt are each provided in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. The top's solid color is a great match for one of the hues in the swirling pattern of the skirt, making them a very nicely coordinated outfit.

I also visited the Alma Miranda store where I found this lovely SAILOR EMBROIDERY MAXI DRESS as their current Third Life group gift. It has a fun mix of patterns and a 3D design on the bodice that usually looks like spiral flowers but in this texturing reminds me of a swirl of rope that would be very suitable for a nautical themed dress. There are 5 fitmesh standard sizes as well as Maitreya and Slink versions included in this gift. 

While I have referenced warmer weather on my blog lately, I fully recognize that other parts of the world (waves to Australia and New Zealand readers) are entering winter soon and that even more importantly we can find any climate we wish in SL no matter what the calendar says. So I was very pleased to claim the VERTIGO gift for Third Life called AISLING SWEATER DRESS. Its lush knit texture works so well with the style, from pert hood to darker band at the hem. This flattering dress fits Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. 

Next we head to [WellMade] who are very generous to both their own group and many other multi-designer groups, as evidenced by the wonderful Amaya Dress GIFT for Third Life. This bubble dress is provided in eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes, with a HUD offering 2 choices each for the dress and its built in belt. The blue and teal colors for the belt are very similar, and both look great with either pattern hues. 

Interestingly, the colors from my final look this evening are much like shades found in the WellMade gift :) This one however is a lingerie set from SpicySecrets which is called SS GIFT FOR THIRD LIFE. It was my first visit to this store, so I am very pleased to make their acquaintance :) The bra and panties are included in system/BOM layers plus appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, and Omega, so they are compatible with classic avatars and most popular mesh bodies. I really like the layered look, and the bright colors are certainly a fun touch. 

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was better than expected since the storm system apparently steered away from my area for the most part. The weather Saturday morning was terrific for the farmers market, and that put me in a happy frame of mind for the rest of the weekend. The houseguest arrived soon after I got home from the market, and will be leaving in the morning. Nothing major to say there, I have just been hanging out up here and trying to be extra quiet. I am literally awake the entire time he is asleep, so I make an effort to be polite about voice chatting, laughing, whatever might be disruptive. Wonderland Treasure Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are headed to Wonderland Beach where there is a St. Patrick's Market and Treasure Hunt until the 17th. That is why I hurried there as soon as I found out, the limited time remaining ;) All other plans immediately change in a case like that, so I began my search for pots of gold containing all sorts of thoughtful treats for all who find them. They are short, rounded, brown, and filled with golden coins, so be sure to check in each storefront and on/near the carts of this event. Now there is also a trivia version of the hunt by A&A hair, so if you click a pot of gold and it asks you a question instead of delivering a gift, you know you found one of those instead. I tried answering in local chat but did not receive anything, so I have no idea if I missed something since I wasn't intentionally working on that one...there are signs with notecards to help you though :) A few prizes were in other objects, like one in a small light green box and another in a pouch that had hovertext indicating there might be a gift inside. My suggestion is to explore carefully and enjoy the lovely scenery while seeing what the vendors have for sale this week. 

My first look is the eye-catching TrendZy Apparel prize called TA Tatiana outfit black and white. It includes the dress in 3 classic sizes (S, M, L) and 3 fitmesh sizes (S, M, L) for classic avatars as well as versions for Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, and Voluptuous bodies. The fingerless gloves come in Maitreya, Ocacin, and Slink versions, while the knee high boots (with fishnet built into the top) are provided in Altamura, BBL, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. You can wear all at once, or mix them up however you prefer with favorites already in your wardrobe. 

The traditional color for the upcoming holiday is green of course, so claiming this [L.T] Roxy Catsuit - Green from Lori's Threads was not surprising :) It comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes, with a 9 color HUD for the laces. The scooped sides are a flirty touch, and our catsuit has just the right hint of shimmer to the fabric. 

ATLANTIS DESIGN chose a lovely prize with a touch of green for us, their Fallina 5 sleeveless dress. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. I was drawn to the pointed waistband and the broad stripes, both real attention grabbers. 

This prize feels like spring and St. Paddy's Day to me with that soft background color decorated with 4 leaf clovers. It's the prize from Mara's Mysteries (in a box, not a pot of gold) named *MM* Peggie Shamrock Dresses in 21 sizes. 10 of those sizes are for classic avatars (5 standard and 5 fitmesh) with the others fitting eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. I couldn't resist sharing the rear view too so you can see that cutout and bow in the back.

My final look is a romantic one, thanks to the Clover Babydoll prize from AlmaMiranda. Its camisole and panties are each included in a classic M size as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous sizing. The camisole is partly sheer, and the panties are fairly modest coverage with a cute clover on the front. I decided to accessorize it with the Tastic prize called Music Rocks Necklace-With Hud. This striking necklace has a studded strap with metal chain looped through the end and a beautiful music note pendant dangling from it. The aforementioned HUD offers 6 materials for the strap, and 4 metal tones to choose from. 

It was a long day here, and I am still processing yesterday's bad news so my state of mind is not quite what it should be.
