More Kiyomizu Prizes

 Hiya everyone! Tonight there are more wonderful free prizes from the Kiyomizu Summer 2021 Hunt to see, found hiding inside ninja cats at various locations. I usually start at the Kiyomizu Mall and check all those stores for signs, which tell you if the store is set up and how many cats are waiting. Then I click a floating ghost above one of the walkways at the mall to get a personalized website URL to show what cats you've found and where you still need to visit. Some of the store's mainstores have them instead, so you will be teleporting to several different regions to collect all of these generous kitties. 

First I slipped into the Magiclo prize which is their .: MC :. BlousonDress_Kiyomizu. It is provided in Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, all with that summery sleeveless style, layered skirt, and two different fabrics that go quite well together. 

Another fun choice for the season is this Sunflower Dress from the MeltingDots Freebie Store. I strongly suggest giving this landmark to anyone you meet who is new to SL or returning after a long time away, since they can find many gifts year-round in addition to this cute hunt prize right now :) The dress comes in fitmesh standard sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine body versions. There is also a HUD with 5 texture choices and arrows to adjust the scale of the texturing. 

I also found a cat at Made in USA, which held their Suit A / kiyomizu prize. It comes in a single mesh size with an alpha layer that works for classic avatars or BOM compatible mesh bodies, so this sleek styled one-piece suit will work for many of us. 

Next we see the .*.Jury PoP.*.Large Dot Ruffle Neck Mini Dress(Orange&Green) prize, a cute formfitting dress decorated in large polka dots and a fun frill above a tuxedo type bodice. It is included in 3 sizes for classic avatars (XS, S, M) and versions for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. 

For my final look this evening, I wanted to share a closer view of the nail polish I have been wearing in all of these images. It is the free hunt prize from [::]colon colon called SuikaNail-KiyomizuHunt2021summer. It consists of appliers for Altamura, Belleza, Kupra, and Maitreya mesh body hands, with an adorable watermelon slice design complete with seeds and rind at the cuticle. The texture is so well done, and will look wonderful on any shape or length nails you use.

Whispers of Spring

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am pleased to show you some more offers to be found at The Wash Cart Sale during their Make Your Soul Bloom round. First we visit the Sweet Serenity Designs cart, where there are several beautiful dresses for the Maitreya body for just $50L apiece. On the left above I am wearing their SSD MY SWEET PAPILLION GOWN LILAC, a stunning strapless gown with shadowy swirls and a long mermaid shape. It is the same style (front and back) as the SSD MY EBONY & WHITE PAPIE GOWN you see on the right, so yes it has an intricate butterfly design on the back. Savoha Creations has plenty of affordable offers for us, including home decor, accessories like hair and makeup, and clothing for classic or mesh avatars. The two outfits above are both from their $10L special called mix & match pack 1. It contains 4 tops and 4 pairs of pants, all in system/BOM layers. On the left is the blue dream top and blue fun jeans, with the pink halter top and fancy jeans pink to the right. Just like the name says, we can pair these however we wish and create several different looks for one low price. The mainstore of Savoha is on the Wash sim too, so they are right at home literally here at the cart sale.

Over to the Kiyomizu Hunt, I am especially fond of this prize for a few reasons...one being I have pictures of my mom in a dress in this exact style from the 60s but plain white with blue ribbons and I believe blue ruffles down the front :) Another is that it has so many adorable animals on it! Next we celebrate spring with the .*.Jury PoP.*. prize called Haruno Tunic Wanpi - Purple. The texture looks like terrycloth, a soft and touchable fabric, and did you notice the slit pocket? Love it! There is one on each side, and the rabbit on the moon in front is a cutie. 

For my final look of the evening, I selected a nail polish hunt prize since our fingertips deserve some love too ♥. This is the [::]colon colon SakuraNail-KiyomizuHunt2021spring, and the gift includes appliers for Altamura, Belleza, Kupra, and Maitreya mesh hands. As you can see, there are multiple similar designs among the nails, with more sakura or cherry blossoms appearing on the index and middle fingers. I really like the teal background for the pink of the flowers, and there is a satin finish rather than a high gloss which accentuates the artwork. 

I can't tell if this week is going slowly or quickly, since at different points today it has seemed like both. My arm is almost completely better from the injection discomfort, and I don't have a particularly high pain tolerance so this isn't just being brave or anything. I am going to my parents' for dinner tomorrow instead of Friday because my dad has a radiation treatment Friday evening, apparently there have been scheduling issues and I do not mind adjusting our plans especially for something so important. We lost his father almost 30 years ago to the same type of cancer (prostate that spread) so extra caution is wise. He is 8 years younger now than his dad was when he passed away, and much healthier in general with a lifestyle geared towards staying that way. Kiyomizu Winter Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I would like to share several more prizes from the Winter 2020-21 round of the Kiyomizu Hunt. It starts at the Kiyomizu Mall and continues at some of the mainstores of the designers who have locations in the mall too, so the best way to keep track of where you still need to visit is by clicking a ghost floating above the walkways. They can link you to a personalized website showing you what ninja cats you still need to find, with the landmark for the exact location of the scripted sign at each stop that keeps track of how many hunt objects are active. This winter round is available until the 11th, so a few more days remain to find all these tricky but generous kitties. 

There are 3 prizes hidden with different cats at Korpokkur House, two of which can be combined to create this adorable outfit. The Turtle Top and Skirt are each designed for the Maitreya mesh body, in soft brown with white trim that makes me think of gingerbread. The third prize is a table, so you can also decorate your home a bit when you find all of these kitties. 

I do enjoy a nice versatile dress, so I was very excited to claim the prize at SHOP KERO called Plaid Winter Tunic. It starts with the dress in classic M and fitmesh M sizes for classic avatars, along with sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. It also includes a HUD with 24 textures (8 plaid, 16 solid colors) for the top, skirt, belt, and sleeves. Each section has a button on the left side of the HUD, so whichever you have highlighted by clicking will have your chosen texture applied. 

I certainly do feel like royalty in the Princess Gown prize from MeltingDots Freebie Store, and you can too! It has an elegant full skirt, sweetheart neckline, bare shoulders with detached sleeves, and a sash layer that can be tinted separately from the main gown via HUD. That HUD offers 10 colors each for the gown and sash layer, while the gown itself is included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies plus classic M and fitmesh M for classic avatars. I also found the ninja cat at Magiclo, who kindly gave me this Sleeve RibbonM_Dress[Kiyomizu]  prize. It comes in Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, with flared sleeves tied with pretty red bows. The colors have a Christmas flavor, but the snowflakes are suitable for all winter long. 

My final look of the evening is from KoCha, a treat for anyone with the Maitreya body and hands. It is their Nail_Red Christmas ver. applier, which will adorn your nails with a mixed manicure of solid deep red with accent nails of pink ombre with white holly leaves that have matching deep red berries in their center. You have to look very closely to notice that the artwork is holly, and I almost took the berries for hearts at a very quick glance, so you can bet I will happily wear these when an outfit matches, regardless of what the calendar says ;) Mixed manicures like this are so fun, and I did notice that my toenails received the same polishing from the applier HUD so you will be fully coordinated. 

It was a quieter day here, although there is still a lot of sifting through various news reports and trying to make sense of everything that happened yesterday. The weather is chilly and so is this room, so I am snuggled under a brightly colored lap blanket that a friend gave me a few years ago. It is not particularly thick, yet it helps keep my legs just warm enough. Kiyomizu Winter Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am finally able to show you some prizes from the Kiyomizu Winter 2019-2020 Hunt, in which we are looking for ninja cats hiding in very mischievous ways. Some are flattened and tucked behind signs on walls, others are shrunk to tiny size and inside gacha machines or such, while still others can be spotted best by their tails sticking out from somewhere. I do not usually suggest this for hunts except this one, but I do actually recommend wireframe to find these tricky kitties. Give each one a click to receive your free gift :) I find the best way to start is to explore the shops at the Kiyomizu Mall for those in stores with hunt signs, then click a floating ghost (check the sidewalks between stores) for a personalized website that lets you see what URLs you still need to visit. The signs and cats are scripted to keep track of these things, which always impresses me as being efficient and accurate. 

My first look comes from the ninja kitty at Magiclo, their lovely .: MC :. Coat Suit. The coat and dress beneath are separate pieces, each fitted for the Maitreya body, so you can wear them together or individually if you wish. The layered look really works for this time of year.

This fun outfit can be claimed by finding the kitty at Shiorin's Mart. It is called =CS= Kiyomizu Hunt Prize 2019 Winter, and is also created for the Maitreya mesh body. The long sleeved bodysuit has a colorful and seasonal pattern, and the leg warmers with high heels (they are attached) have a HUD provided with 3 texture choices. Two are shown above, and the other is red and white stripes very similar to the one on the right. I appreciate the versatility :)

I feel cozy just looking at this wonderful prize from **milky-way, their *19-11 Fur Coat-Kiyomizu Hunt. It is made for the Maitreya mesh body (like many of these prizes) and features white fur cuffs and trim, a shapely A-line style, and even a hooded cape. 

SHOP KERO is offering this elegant Christmas Gown as their prize, so be sure to find that ninja cat to claim it :) The gown is provided in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions, all with a HUD that offers multiple colors for each section. The slender sleeves and overskirt are one part, the main dress another, and the lacing in the back is the third. I must say, if you choose white for all of the sections this would be a fantastic wedding gown!

Bon Odori Festival at Kiyomizu

Hiya everyone! Tonight I take you to the Kiyomizu Mall, where they are celebrating the Bon Odori Festival. I did a little research, as I like to do, and found that it is a dance to welcome the spirits of the dead. The landing area now has a tower with a huge drum, surrounded by a circle of dance poseballs (yellow and on the ground) and displays with gachas and lucky boards. If you want to win from those boards, you have to be dancing for at least two minutes to be able to claim a prize when your initial shows up. The many boards change letters very frequently, and a few boards have multiple prizes inside. This fun annual event takes place until the 18th of the month, so you have time to hang out and enjoy :)

My first look is the lucky board prize from * ichiko * called Hight Waist Bikini - Rose - Kiyomizu Bon 2019. It comes in a Maitreya mesh size and has a delicate pattern with pretty pink roses. 

Another lucky board prize worth dancing for is the Magiclo gift .: MC :. Camouflagesuit [Kiyomizu_Bon] outfit seen here. It is a single piece with a tube top layered beneath a jumper type skirt, in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. The camo print on the top layer has fun shades of pink, blue, and yellow that really make it pop.

Another outfit on the lucky boards is the prize from [PinkCat's] called Summer Mini Tshirt&Bottom *WaterMelon-Yellow*. The top and shorts each come in a single mesh size, and as you can see they fit my Maitreya body quite well. Apparently yellow watermelon has a sweeter honey-like flavor, so now I want to try it! My avi got to taste it from one of the two prizes in FrangipaniGarden's lucky board, the *FG* Watermelon Ice Cream Floats -Yellow-.  It has a built in hold pose, as you can see, and there is a pink flavor you can win from this board as well. Just look at how beautifully it is garnished, with tiny wedges of watermelon and a paper umbrella.

The **milky-way lucky board has two prizes in it too, and I am having fun showing them both in this look. The lovely dress on the left is the **milky-way *19-07 MINI YUKATA-Pink, and the Blue version can be seen on the right. Both are included in a single mesh size that might be for Maitreya since I saw it auto-alpha some body sections when I added it, and they have the same crimson belt and wide sleeves. These are such elaborate looks, and perfect for the festival.

Clearly I had a lot of fun with this last look of the evening, wearing a sexy bikini from the +OM+ display. It is a free gift located behind their lucky board, so not actually a lucky board prize...you can claim this with no group needed and no luck ;) Then I added a lucky board prize, this time from A&R called Phone Navi-ver2. Just add it and you will see some adorable poses, and you can click the yellow part for animations or the black star on the back for the selfie with flash light as seen on the left. So clever!

The Wash and Kiyomizu

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am delighted to share two of my favorite seasonal events in SL. The Wash Cart Sale has started their Sizzling Summer round today (the 3rd), and it is open until the 24th of July. Each cart has $10L - $25L selections and a special $50L offering (optional), and there are dozens of talented designers taking part with clothing, home decor, and much more. Then we have a hunt that always appears here too, the Kiyomizu Summer 2019 Hunt which starts at the Kiyomizu Mall and visits some main stores as well. We are looking for ninja cats who give free prizes when clicked, and what I usually suggest is to find all the ones you can in the mall then click one of the floating ghosts above the sidewalks outside the stores. They will take you to a personalized webpage that shows where you still need to visit and how many/which cats you have already discovered.

I am starting this evening with two selections from the *baci* cart at The Wash. On the left I am enjoying their Gitane Fuchsia dress, which includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, all for just $10L. There are other options on the cart too, and two gifts including the outfit on the right above called Torero Vintage. It is a single piece with a layered appearance, in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The front says Drag and Happening, while the rear has a lovely lip print with the word kiss written beneath. This is a playful look for a beach or pool, both of which I plan on visiting somewhere in SL very soon :) I won't have the chance in RL, so why not take advantage of that opportunity virtually?

Hair note of the night: after a brief hiatus due to RL, Truth Hair's designer is back with a new release in his main store called Elixir, and I can never ever resist his work especially updo styles :) So I hurried to purchase my favorite redhead pack as soon as I tried the demo and made sure it fit appropriately. It is unrigged and has a resize option in the stylist tab of the HUD, which is the same HUD we use to choose our hair shade now. There is also the option to wear it with either side's bangs/wisps hidden or both, I am wearing both visible. It amazes me how long I have been a fan of his, most of my SL existence really, and it just keeps getting better. This color pack was $300L which is comparable to other brands from what I have seen.

Wash and Kiyomizu Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight we take another trip to The Wash Cart Sale, where you can find selections marked down to $10L, $25L, or $50L each. There are lots of talented designers participating in the Spring has Sprung round (until April 10th) with offers that will help you get ready for a new season, both wardrobe and home decor. I also have some hunt prizes to share, from the Kiyomizu Spring 2019 Hunt. It starts at the Kiyomizu Mall, where my suggestion is to explore the stores there to find all the ninja cats you can, then click a floating ghost outside above the sidewalks. They will send you to a website that has all the locations and which you found/which you still need to locate. Some stores have them in their mainstores away from the mall, and I find it easiest to use the ghosts for personalized results.

Our first stop tonight is the Dream Factory cart, where you can find several $10L selections like the ~DF~Gown Katia red I am wearing on the left. It includes two standard fitted sizes (small and large) as well as for eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The style is lovely, with the bra and skirt connected by a sheer lace panel. On the right you can see one of their $25L outfits called ~DF~Outfit Susan3. Another exciting way to express yourself is with tattoos, and the InnerJoy Love Tattoos cart has several terrific choices at discounted prices. Here I am wearing their Worthy Life tattoo which is just $25L and includes a system layer plus appliers for Maitreya and Omega. The design starts with a tree whose roots have a heart shape inside, and birds flying above. The back has more of those silhouettes of a flock in flight, with "Live A Life Worth Living" in script down the spine. It is excellent advice and really attractive body art. I am also wearing a bra and panties here for modesty, and that would be the set that comes with the Maitreya body.

Over to the Kiyomizu Hunt, this pretty free prize is from M*Motion and is called C19 KYMZ Spring Gift. It is provided in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, and crafted with ruffled layers on the skirt, a gathered back, and even an attached belt that ties in the front with a cute bow.

It was a decent day, until I went into the kitchen and a big mouse ran from the fridge towards me as soon as I turned on the light, then hid between two boxes before darting into the next room. I admit, I screamed like I was in a horror movie, LOL! It was probably because this was much bigger than the others I've seen in here, and headed towards me rather than away. The joys of living near woods...I enjoy it most of the time though. I'm headed to the dentist in the morning to get this filling adjusted so I can chew and bite normally again, shouldn't take long or be a big deal. Kiyomizu Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight we explore one of my favorite seasonal hunts, the Kiyomizu Hunt which is celebrating Winter 2018. It starts at the Kiyomizu Mall, where many of the stores are participating so just look for the signs inside or outside of each. They have scripting that tells you what numbered cat is there (as usual, our hunt object is a ninja cat) and if there is more than one. Some stores will direct you to their mainstore, and the best way to see what you've found and where you still need to go is by clicking a floating ghost on one of the sidewalks. It will send you to a personalized website that will guide you. This is a really tricky hunt since there are no hints and the cats can be hidden just about anywhere, resized or even flattened and buried in a wall. The terrific prizes make it worth the effort though :)

My first look is our prize from ::*Ran*:: called 18-28 Fur coat KIYOMIZU Winter Treasure Hunt, a luxurious coat dress trimmed in fur with a very full skirt. It comes in sizes for standard, eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, with a HUD that offers 4 textures. There are 3 solid colors (black, red, pink) in addition to the festive plaid shown, all with the same trim.

M*Motion has this fun padded jacket waiting inside their hidden kitty, with the shirt layer built in for easy wearing. It is included in sizes for Isis, Maitreya, and Physique, with U.S. ARMY on the back and a design on the front. Even the sleeves have designs, M*Motion on one and 2018-9 on the other. We can't fully read all the names on the t-shirt beneath, but they look like a list of cities in the USA since I see New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Nashville, etc.

Another ideal choice for these chilly evenings is the prize from **milky-way called *18-12 Maxi Sweater Black. Find the hidden cat and you can claim this in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, with long sleeves and a plush knit texture. Please excuse my thumbs, which apparently didn't feel like staying inside the clothing...

There are two kitties playing hide and seek at Shiorin's Mart, and they each have a wonderful gift for you when you find and click them. You could probably hide or remove your mesh hands if they are like mine and decide not to cooperate. I like the looseness of the rolled neck, enough to keep you warm without being overly confining. These tops tonight will go beautifully with whatever pants you choose to wear with them, such as the Delizio marketplace gift I am wearing.

It was a fairly typical Sunday here, but at least I got more rest before getting my usual weekly tasks accomplished. I can't believe 2019 is almost here! I hope that it provides a fresh start, endless possibilities, and good things for all of us. Magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
