Free Dove Mini Bonus Hunts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are exploring The Free Dove for their Caring Hands mini hunts, which this month consist of a main 10 prize hunt and 6 bonus 4 prize hunts from a total of 7 designers. One of the bonus hunt designers is not set up yet due to RL, but there are 6 wonderful creators whose prizes are ready to find in various hunt objects. Tonight I decided to share two bonus hunts, so we will be taking a look at the Believe goodies found in adorable pink bunnies and the WitchCraft treats hiding in baskets with bunnies and eggs in each basket. There are pictures on the hunt signs of the prizes and hunt objects, and I do recommend giving one of those signs a click for the notecard with all the details. All of the mini hunts have half the prizes at The Free Dove location and the other half at their mainstore, so the notecard includes those landmarks in addition to photos and such. So much fun! All of tonight's prizes need the "Blessed by a Dove" free group tag active to click and claim them for free. 

My first look combines all 4 prizes from Believe, each named 505 then numbered 1 to 4. The #1 prize is our bunny ears, very easy to edit and adjust to suit many different hairstyles. #2 is the cuffs and collar, also adjustable and the collar has a built in resize script which came in handy. Both #1 and #2 are found at The Free Dove, then we head over to their mainstore for the others. The flirty shirt in sizes for Legacy, Kupra, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies are tucked inside prize #3 along with the mouth carrot, to enhance your bunny style :) Find bunny #4 and you will receive the panties and pasties to complete the look. The panties fit Legacy, Kupra, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, and the pasties are a system/BOM layer that is easy to wear. The panties have high cut sides and very cute heart on the front, helping this outfit add up to one sexy look for Easter weekend or whenever you wish.

Next we take a peek at what is in the first of 4 prizes from {WitchCraft} and found at The Free Dove. The #1 basket holds three gifts that you can wear together or separately if you prefer, starting with the It's Magic! Dress (01) in sizes for Alice, Altamura, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The cool treat in my left hand (photo right side) is the Bunny Ice Cream (01) with pink cream decorated with darker pink and held with a built in bento pose. Speaking of bento poses, there is one in the {WitchCraft} Baby Pet Game (purple) in my right hand as well. It is a decorative reproduction of those fun but oh-so-time consuming tamagotchi toys from the late 90s. I'm sure they appeared in lots of Easter baskets in RL so it is clever to have them in these hunt baskets :)

WitchCraft's second basket is also at The Free Dove and holds a similar trio of treats, like the It's Magic! Dress (02) in the same set of sizes as the one in prior photo (and in the next two). Some of our moons and stars have shifted coloring, while still appearing on the strapless mini with peekaboo bodice opening and ruffled trim. It probably won't surprise you to hear that the ice cream cone then is called Bunny Ice Cream (02), in a tempting purple that could be grape or something much more exotic. The cute Baby Pet Game (pink) is included too, and I suspect that the pink and purple versions got reversed and were meant to be in the other prize but they look great no matter how we mix them up :)

Heading over to the {WitchCraft} mainstore, we get to find two prizes here starting with #3 which offers their It's Magic! Dress (03) in yes a third color combination for those celestial symbols. Do you like your ice cream with a sky blue tint? If so then add the {WitchCraft} Bunny Ice Cream (03) to your look for your left hand! It is certainly complemented by the {WitchCraft} Baby Pet Game (blue) that we hold in our right hand, dangling from the beaded cord like the other colors and ready to bring back nostalgia.

My final look of the evening is also found at their mainstore, the 4th hunt prize with the {WitchCraft} It's Magic! Dress (04) kicking things off. Have I mentioned how tough it is to choose a favorite from these beauties? The {WitchCraft} Bunny Ice Cream (04) has a tasty creamsicle color in my mind, a yellowish orange that is just as cute as the other flavors with the single dipped ear and matching eyes. I included a closer view of the {WitchCraft} Baby Pet Game (yellow) so you could see what the screen looks like, as it certainly made me smile so I wanted to share the sentimental feelings ;) I am very grateful to both of tonight's featured designers for their generous hunt prizes. 

So I had a dental visit yesterday for a routine cleaning and quick checkup, and it went well other than finding a small cavity that I pointed out as a tiny hole near an existing filling. It turns out the edge of the filling probably lifted up just enough to allow the bad stuff in and keep it there, creating a new cavity. I get it drilled and filled next Tuesday, so another hefty dose of nitrous that will mean another evening off from blogging. It isn't very uncomfortable and I am fine, just bummed that it happened in the first place. My dad's side of the family always had dental issues, and I don't think he has any of his real teeth left, so he would probably blame genetics. I have two implants and some crowns, so I am no stranger to the dentist's chair even if I do have a heaping dose of fear of it. Everyone at this office is terrific though which helps tremendously. Happy Anniversary MIIX

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it is my pleasure to invite you to the MIIX event for their second anniversary round. In addition to the 30% off sales offers, most of the designers are offering gifts for the members of their Hype Events group. Just look for the balloons, since they have a gift box anchoring them that you can click to receive free goodies. A few are offering other treats ranging from $1L - $10L so just be aware of that while clicking and gathering generous gifts :) I really enjoy visiting this event each round, and am glad to help them celebrate their anniversary. My first look tonight is the adorable [FurtaCor Female] Cat Outfit gift, one of two from FurtaCor since the other is a male gift. The ladies get a soft hoodie and shorts (linked together to wear as one piece) in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. Be sure to click the HUD to open it and be able to arrow through the various pages, where you'll find 15 textures for the top, 15 matching ones for the shorts, and 12 extras that are colors to tint the entire outfit at once. The cat ears on the hood also appear on the back of the shorts, too cute!

Then I changed into the Charlot Bodysuit gift from Estilosa & Vaidosa. This sexy suit is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. There is also a handy HUD with 8 options, 4 textures and 4 solid colors. The style is a seductive one with the deep neckline and thong back. 

Two gifts can be seen here, so let's start from the top ;) That would be the ~UKYAH~ Reage Cropped - Gift Exclusive, in a mix of male and female sizes: Belleza Jake, eBody Reborn, Kupra, Legacy (Female, Male, Perky), Maitreya, Flat, and Petite bodies. There is also a HUD with 12 colors plus 2 (black or white) for the collar/wrists. The main color will apply to the entire top, then you can click the black or white buttons on the right side to add the contrast if you wish. As for my shorts, they are the Cute Bear Short from RD Style, and I adore them :) These high waisted, cuffed denim shorts have a sweet teddy on the front, and come in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The subtly tinted denim is a special fun touch.

Time to get flirty with the {WitchCraft} Cinthia Teddy! This playful bodysuit is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with a 6 color/texture HUD. All of the patterns for the lower portion have a carefully chosen solid color for the top. The high fluttery leg seemed like a perfect way to show off another gift, the SPT-Moon leg tattoo from Spirit Tattoo. The crescent moon is draped with delicate chains and pendants, and it is on a system/BOM layer that should be compatible with most mesh bodies these days as well as working for classic avatars. 

My final look this evening is our gift from Luxury Fashion called [LF] Manhosa Set. The corset and skirt are each included in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, while the coordinated shoes are for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High feet. I really like the necklace they added too, a lariat style with a heart clasp in the front that multiple chain strands loop through for a cascade of hearts. 

My evening became rather adventurous, thanks to some storms that whipped through the area and took the power out. My house is the only one on the street with a generator, and even now a few hours later we are still the only ones with any indication of having power since there are no lights or anything elsewhere. I can hear the generator since it sounds like a loud lawnmower, and I feel a little guilty even though I know the decision many years ago to get the generator was a good idea. The power company texted and said the power would be restored by now, I think their estimate was a half hour ago or more, so something isn't going well. Otherwise I am looking forward to dinner at my parents' tomorrow, and then the farmers market on Saturday. The new month is almost here (it is in my time zone, mostly thinking SL terms right now) so that will bring exciting possibilities. Free Dove With Love

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a sampling of the Valentine's Day gifts we can find on a special table at The Free Dove. Several different designers are offering clothing and accessories just right for this romantic season, all free with the "Blessed by a Dove" group tag from The Free Dove's group. It is also free to join the group as always, so these gifts won't cost a thing :) Whether your Valentine's plans involve celebrating with a loved one, finding a date, or hanging out with friends instead, you will find plenty of ways to dress the part and look your best. This is their Brisa Sexy Dress Purple Transparent, a daring halter style mini with deep plunging neckline and bare back. The gift includes eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes along with a standard fitmesh version for classic avatars. I added a few "modesty flowers" to keep this look on the family-friendly side, but the in-world dress does not have them and is very revealing :)

The texturing is simply amazing, and I really want to wear this somewhere elegant :)

How was the first weekend of everyone's new year? Mine was nice and fairly quiet, since I generally do not go anywhere on New Year's Eve or Day. The weather was rainy which is turning to snow tomorrow, with temperatures dropping almost 30 degrees. Hard to imagine that one, and I am grateful to have a small heater here in my computer room that tends to be cooler than the rest of the house from being above the garage. I expect to need it while blogging tomorrow, but for now I am content with a blanket on my lap and thoughts of hot tea later. WitchCraft at The Free Dove

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am showing off some of the Free Dove mini hunt prizes from WitchCraft. There are 10 total to claim by finding the cute little ghosts, five of which are hidden at The Free Dove (be sure to check inside and out!) and the other 5 are at the WitchCraft mainstore. All 10, so the ones in both locations, will need the Blessed by a Dove group tag active to claim them from The Free Dove's group. It is free to join as always, so these generous prizes won't cost you a thing except the time it takes to explore and track down the hidden ghosties :) Meanwhile the store's name has me humming the old song of the same name...that sly come hither stare, that strips my conscience bare, it's WitchCraft! Seasonally appropriate, as the hunt is open until the end of October (Halloween).

My first look this evening is a prize found at The Free Dove called {WitchCraft} Betsy Goth Outfit. Its purple strapless dress comes in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. There is also a box included with garters, in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing for the left and right separately. This way you can wear one or both, it's all up to you. They have a mix of sugar and spice with the heart shaped link in the front that perfectly matches the silver of the spikes.

One of the ghosts at the WitchCraft mainstore gave me this flirty Lady Spider outfit as a reward for finding it. The sheer cobweb-laced dress is provided in Freya, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes, with a coordinated pair of laced up heels that fit Maitreya feet. For modesty I would wear a pair of panties beneath, depending on my destination since some places would frown upon just how revealing this is ;)

Another mainstore ghost holds this lovely {WitchCraft} Sian Goth Lolita outfit, yours for free with the Free Dove group tag. The dress has a high-low hem and bell sleeves, and comes in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP bodies. The rugged boots come to the mid calf and have silver metallic trim, in all the same sizes as the dress except for Ocacin and TMP. Chances are, if you hide your feet with your body's HUD, you can wear these boots with just about any mesh feet though.

They are provided in Alice, Legacy, Maitreya, Slink, and Tonic sizes, with a 6 texture HUD so you can choose your favorite nail art. I layered 2 images here to show you two of those 6 options, and there are spooky cobwebs and spiders among the choices as well. Your nails will be decorated just right for Halloween or any goth styled outfit. 

It was one of those days, a bit nerve-wracking but nothing I wasn't prepared for because I know the person involved well enough to anticipate their nonsense. Still Under The Sea

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we take another trip Under The Sea for more of their fantastic group gifts. The group is the Evil Bunny Hunt group, with the tag "I'm Evil" that you need active to claim all of these generous treats inside black bags with framed images of the gifts next to them. Each designer is also offering deeply discounted merchandise, all well worth the visit. Exploring such a beautiful area is a treat too, just walk off the edge into the depths where you see the diving boards and you will land in the event which is of course underwater. 

My first look of the evening is the Emerald Couture gift, their EC Aloha Outfit v2 Yellow. It is a fantastic choice for the summer, since the skirt covers a bikini bottom that comes in two different versions, patterned and solid. Next I slipped into the MadCatCreations gift called Pink Paisley Dress. It has a very short hem and plunging neckline both front and back, in standard mesh sizes along with versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Kupra, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. Paisley is one of those fun patterns that I find has a timeless quality, as the colors and sizes of the print can make it feel brand new. I figured with all this bare skin, it was a perfect time to show off a tattoo group gift! That would be the Lush Find Your Way Tattoo, with ink on the front and back of the upper body that has a nautical flavor. It comes in system/BOM layers and Omega appliers, both 70 and 85% so you can decide on the opacity and how fresh or faded you prefer your tattoo. I am wearing the 85 (BOM) in the hopes that it would photograph more clearly that way. 

This playful outfit is the Indigenous - Shells Beach Set, a gift that will turn heads at the beach or anywhere you wish to wear it. For my final look this evening I changed into the BQ::Bandana Top:: Blue Palm GIFT from BlondeQueen. It includes sizes for eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, and the sweetheart neckline above the pointed hem creates a beautiful heart shape that highlights our curves. You can wear this with just about anything that makes you smile, and I chose a simple casual look by adding the white pair of Delizio jeans from their marketplace freebie I rely on so much.

I spent part of the day thinking it was Sunday again, so my sense of time is clearly off but at least I didn't have a case of the Mondays ;) It was still hot and steamy, so I am grateful for fans and cool beverages. My parents finally replaced my mom's computer which is at least 10 years old and wouldn't allow an update to Windows 10, so it was struggling and not a shock that it finally became unusable. She likes to play puzzle type games on it and reads email, news, etc., some of which she was able to do on her cellphone but not entirely. I sometimes answer software questions for her or general internet things, but I am not savvy when it comes to hardware. REDEUX Event Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a limited time event to tell you about, as I just received a notecard today so I only just found out about the Black Friday & Cyber Monday 2020 by REDEUX. There are 4 buildings surrounding the landing area, all of which hold displays by various designers offering lots of discounted merchandise from clothing to accessories to home decor and more. There are also group gifts in cardboard boxes at just about every display, just give each one a click with the free group tag (local chat will have an invitation to join when you land) to receive something special. I am sorry for the short notice and truly hope you can visit quickly to enjoy this sale!

My first look this evening is the charming Fire Within gift called *FW* Willow, one of two gifts inside the same cardboard box at their display. The other is for the gentlemen, so please pass that information along to anyone who may be interested :) Willow here consists of a blouse with flared elbow length sleeves barely held closed by long ties, and a clever skirt that appears to be jeans converted into a skirt by adding a long scarf or shawl, with each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. 

The treat from Only Your Imagination could be Christmas themed because of its colors, but can certainly be enjoyed any time of year if you wish. Their OYI - Holly Jolly dresses come in red and green versions, each v1 and V2 for long or short sleeves, and all of those options are provided in Legacy and Maitreya sizing. That plunging neckline is the perfect frame for my new tattoo, the group gift from Slide Store Tattoo called ::SsT:: Line Breast Tattoo - BoM. the cleavage-skimming artwork comes in a single system layer, compatible with classic avatars or BOM (Bakes on Mesh) for mesh bodies. You have probably noticed by now that I am a fan of BOM and find it very useful for quickly adding multiple makeup or tattoos or clothing layers while being able to see from the "Worn" tab of my inventory exactly what I am wearing. 

[WitchCraft] is brightening my day with their Ari Dress group gift, thanks to its fun sailor style with flirty touches. The gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with a 6 color HUD so you can change your look whenever you wish. The top has a bare back beneath the halter neck's collar, and I love how the front bow is mirrored in the back where it ties together. The pleated skirt has a crisp white stripe that appears on all 6 color choices, with a cute pair of buttons on the left side of the waistband. 

Holiday seasons can be busy and tiring, so we deserve a little something extra pretty to relax in too :) This is the Fatal Fashion gift called FF Original - Top & Shorts Light Blue, and it has a simple elegance to go with that soothing color. The top and shorts each come in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The top is cropped daringly to reveal just a flash of under-boob, and the high waisted shorts are cut quite high on the thigh which make them even more flirtatious. 

My final look of the evening has two group gifts for you to see, adorable tops that both go really well with my Delizio jeans which are free on the marketplace. The top on the left is the LYBRA. Cozy Sweatshirt, which is fitted for the Maitreya body. It has a fun pattern of hearts with a few in bright red to match the sleeves and trim, and would be great for snuggling with someone special. The cutie on the right is our group gift from zOOm called Little Deer Cropped Sweater. He must be a reindeer with those decorated antlers and fun collar (Santa's perhaps?) and the red nose made me think Rudolph. The sweater comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. I have already been complimented on how cute this sweater is by a random stranger in a store, so I am glad I'm not the only one who enjoys the whimsical side of this season.

Each new week, I approach as a new opportunity for positive experiences, and this week is especially exciting because it brings a new month too. New rounds of events and hunts are just around the corner, and December means Advent calendars all across the grid with a bounty of free or very low cost goodies. I probably will not be able to blog very many of those because of my morning schedule having shifted a bit this year, but I will try to get a few in and will share websites to help you find those calendars too. Black Friday Bazaar

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I would like to invite you to a special seasonal event, the Black Friday Bazaar 3 by Evil Bunny Productions. Black Friday refers to the day after American Thanksgiving, traditionally when the Christmas shopping season gets rolling so there are massive sales at most stores. This trend continued when online shopping became popular, and carries over into SL quite a bit as well. So what will you find at the Black Friday Bazaar? Plenty of exclusive offers at 25-50% off, lots of great ideas for your holiday gift giving, and customer appreciation gifts for you from nearly every participating designer. You will need the Evil Bunny Hunt group tag (free to join) active to claim these gifts, and those are what I will be showing you tonight. The event just opened and lasts until the 1st of December, and you can find the gifts inside black drawstring bags that have a framed photo of the gift next to each one. 

This lovely dress is the group gift from g-spot called Loli Dress. It is a fun strapless style with a bubble skirt and contrasting belt with bow. The gift includes sizes for Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies. I accessorized with another gift, the Black Bazaar Necklace from Jazabelle. The faceted heart shaped gemstone in the middle of the wings has a beautiful rainbow effect, so I made sure to share a closer view in the upper right corner. What do you plan on wearing it with?

My next outfit is the **GIULIADESIGN** gift called Follettina5. The dress has a built in belt and some intriguing cutouts with lots of little ties to hold things in place, and it and the thigh high boots are each included in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. The colors are fun for the season or year round if you wish.

I felt so seductive in the +Uni Boutique+ Cobra Dress - Black Lace gift! It is an alluring strapless mini with slits on both sides, in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. The bare neck seemed to call out for some adornment, so I added one of the many varieties found inside the [WitchCraft] Agate Necklace gift. There are a total of 8 unrigged necklaces in there, 4 gold and 4 silver, so a nice range of colors to match any mood or clothing. 

Grumble is actually the event organizer here, well their designer runs Evil Bunny Productions, so it is not a surprise to see that they are offering a treat for us too :) This is their Sleeveless Tee - AFK, and it is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. The hemline is intriguing, as it rises in the middle (both front and back) with points on each side. The "AFK" is emblazoned across paint splashes, and probably stands for Away From Keyboard. I am wearing it with my favorite Marketplace freebie, the jeans from Delizio which come in several colors as system/BOM layers plus appliers for Maitreya and Omega. This is the blue, but there is also a lighter blue and black along with several other options. 

The blue jeans from Delizio look fantastic with my final gift of the evening, which is the Madcatcreations Boho Fall Cardigan and Tank - FATPACK. The same black bag contains a gift for the guys too, so please pass that information on to anyone who might find it useful :) The sweater set here comes in Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, and each individual color is packed separately via HUD: dark mauve (above left), green (right), rust, black, blue, purple, red, violet, and yellow. That is certainly enough choices to enhance any cool weather wardrobe!

Hair note of the night: Truth Hair released their newest style, Serenity, and I have very little self control when it comes to their awesome styles so I rushed over and tried on the demo right there in the store. I was in good company too, LOL, as there were many others interested in the new offering. I picked up my usual Redhead pack, although if they do a Black Friday sale I may be tempted to get the blondes or another color pack.

I feel like this weekend was at least 3 full days long...time is being weird again for me. Living through strange times like this will have that affect I suppose. I watched some videos on how to cut my own hair, since it has been well over a year since my last salon visit, and realized that it is beyond my abilities. It is so long and frizzy though, and in desperate need of shaping, so I will most likely call Tuesday morning and see if I can get an appointment. The salon I go to is near a community for older adults (55+) where many of their clients live, so I trust them to take extra precautions these days. I am asking first of course when I call, to make sure I feel comfortable with their protocol. Down The Rabbit Hole

Hiya everyone! Tonight we are going Down The Rabbit Hole, as that is the name of the event that has just opened and is waiting to delight you. Alice in Wonderland is one of those classic tales that has been immortalized in literature and film, with a wide range of interpretations to provide inspiration for the designers. The event is organized by Evil Bunny Productions (as in Evil Bunny Hunts) and they did a marvelous job decorating the location, and all of tonight's looks are group gifts for their free group. Your tag will say "I'm Evil!" which gave me a good chuckle, and almost all the displays have a gift bag with the event's name on it and a framed image of the gift next to it. Just click each of those to receive your gifts :) Some of these treats are themed while others are not, so even if you are not a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland you have an excellent chance of finding things you will enjoy. 

We start with the gift from [WitchCraft] which is their Rose Red Dress with bonus footwear. The dress is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, which matches up exactly with the sizes of the laced up stiletto boots. The strapless mini is trimmed in black with edging, belt/bow, and even a sheer black layer underneath the red floral fabric, coordinating just right with the shoes.

This cutie has a bold color contrast between the white and hot pink, and the slender attached belt accentuates our natural curves beautifully. One can only assume that the top is held up by magic ;) I accessorized it with the gift from Atlantis Design called Roses Dress Choker, which comes in small and large rigged sizes. The charm in the center is a lovely red heart, and there is a red rose on each side of the black ribbon. Their exclusive discounted offer for the event is a dress designed to match the choker (or vice versa) so be sure to take a peek at that if you are interested.

Blue is another color strongly associated with the Alice in Wonderland story, thanks to the title character's signature clothing, and that probably inspired this +Uni Boutique+ gift. This particular Alice Dress is certainly more mature than the character though, as it is styled like two pointed panels connected at the top and loosely tied on each side at the waist. My final look of the evening is a charming blue dress too, the .{AC}. Poppy - Winter Dress Sky gift from Aurora's Closet. It was a hot and humid day with scattered rain, so I was happy to be able to stay indoors near fans. Tomorrow I am not so lucky, as I do have an appointment to attend, but it should be a decent enough day regardless. I have a mask ready and plenty of hand sanitizer, and the people at this medical office are very nice and seem thorough trying to protect everyone.
