Fashion Sales Black Friday Event

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post comes from the FASHION SALES group's Black Friday Event, which is a great place to do some discounted seasonal shopping :) There are also gifts in many of the setups for the group, which is free to join, plus some are set for sale for $0L so anyone can pick them up without any group tag needed. Be sure to read the signs too, as they indicate that any purchase will enter you in a drawing for linden dollars, so we can win money to do even more shopping! I'm familiar with some of these brands already, but a few were new to me, which is always exciting since I do enjoy getting to know various designers and their styles. While I didn't see an ending date listed for the event itself, the drawing is on December 2nd, so I would assume we'd need to visit before then :)

My first look of the evening is our Begun 010 gift, which is one of two they are offering for free during the event. This sleek dark dress has one side slipped down off the shoulder, with long sleeves that extend just past the wrists. The belt you see is attached, and really flatters the extra short hem :) The gift includes Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh body sizes.

The Borah Lian Set - Fatpack is another tempting treat that can be yours for free :) It includes the corset top, skirt, and chain belt, all in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, along with 2 very handy HUDs. The top HUD lets us choose from 30 colors each for the top in solid, top in patterned, and the trim, while the skirt HUD has a similar set of 30 hues (mostly denim) for the right side of the skirt in solid, solid with a single heart, and pattern with multiple hearts (right side above) and 30 solids for the left side/waistband and the panties. There are even 10 floral patterns on the left side of the HUD for the right panel of the skirt :) So much flexibility here, I love it!

This lovely outfit is our CUTE FOR YOU - 299 YELLOW gift. The cropped sweater and micro miniskirt are both replete with ruffles, in a shade of yellow that's got me thinking of sunshine and lemonade :) They are both included in Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizes. It would be just as fun to mix these pieces with other items you find here, or anything already in your wardrobe as well.

Sugar Dolls is bringing the sex appeal with their {SD} JANIA gift for us. We've got a slip dress we are partly slipped out of, and panties that have also slid down our hips and booty somewhat, each of which will fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The BOM pasties are also included in several colors - black, blue, light pink, nude, olive, pink, purple, red, and the teal set I'm wearing on the left above. This gift even includes a HUD with 45 colors apiece for the dress, straps, panties, and the teeny bow on the front of those panties, so we can change up those colors as much as we desire.

Those pasties came in handy for my final look of the night too! That would be our flirty Begun 006 gift, a one piece jumpsuit in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Crafted from fishnet and leather, this outfit shows off lots of skin and looks mighty fine while doing so :) If you're curious, I chose the purple pair of pasties to wear with the black outfit, as I think those two colors are a powerful combination.

It's been a day...it is a bit breezy so of course we lost power a little while ago, and the generator just turned off so we are theoretically back in business. Usually this means the wind will pick up again and knock us for another loop, lol, but time will tell. Apologies for sounding bitter or snarky, but I seem to have a minor case of holiday blues that I am trying very hard to get through. Otherwise I am going to dinner at my parents' tomorrow but not for the official Thanksgiving meal, so I can still blog in the evening and I am all thrown off thinking it'll be Friday since that's when I usually go there. That isn't a problem, just an amusing touch of confusion :) Friday I'll be doing game night instead (HKIA online with a friend) and then Saturday is our Thanksgiving meal with family. Gifts and Bargains at MIIX

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to invite you to the MIIX Event, where we can find a wonderful collection of designers with special offers at reasonable prices. There are also gifts for $10L or less at many of the booths, and there are several group gifts for different groups that are all free to join and well worth the visit. Men and women can find new wardrobe additions here, and our living spaces can be spruced up for the new year as well :) This round is open until the 20th of January.

My first look is the :::FurtaCor:::Willy Dress + Shoes, which is a free group gift for the FurtaCor VIP group. The sporty collared dress and shiny boots are each provided in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD that offers 15 colors for each piece. The details and the flattering fit really make this a fun choice for when you want to feel pulled together but look casual.

You would think I spent my entire childhood playing with Barbies the way I react to touches of lace and girlie details, LOL, which is not strictly true (had a few Barbies, no Kens for some reason, liked board games and baby dolls better but my mom did teach me how to sew by helping me make clothing for my Barbie from patterns) but that side of me came out to play with the :::FurtaCor:::Veronic dress here. This is a group gift for the MGSN or Maitreya Gifts, Sales and News group, free to join, and can be found on the same area as the first gift I shared which is on a center panel of one of the main walls with all the signage for the event :) We receive eBody Curvy, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizing, with a 15 texture HUD. See, it's versatile as well as flirty!

Yet another generous gift on that same wall is our :::FurtaCor:::Vicky Dress for the FabFree group. This charmer fits Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, and includes a HUD with 15 textures apiece for the dress and sleeves. The initial dress choice will set the texture of the entire dress, then you can click the sleeves tab and give them a little contrast if you wish :) Coincidentally I have 2 new shirts in RL that are long sleeved and one is a knit style like the left above, and the other is a thinner material with stripes like I am enjoying to the right :) It gave me a familiar cozy feeling, even if I picked out different colors here than my RL wardrobe.

CUTE FOR YOU also wants to help us decide to match or contrast our sleeves with a dress, thanks to their $1L gift called 110. This one does not need any particular group tag and is at the store's booth, in a small giftbox. PREMIUM QUALITY Tees have a trio of designs to select from via HUD, with saying like "Certified Premium Quality 100" and "Classy with a Savage side" (the one not shown is "Young Wild Free" in various colors) on different background colors, letting others know that we are valuable and we know it. These cozy looking tops come in 5 standard mesh sizes as well as versions for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. All this with the HUD is just $105L, which is a 30% discount for the event. I frequently pair them with jeans from Delizio as I've done here, this time the blue pair (not to be confused with the light blue) from their marketplace fatpack that is a free gift. 

How was everyone's weekends? Mine was decent, and the snow didn't stick around so that was a relief. My therapy went well this afternoon, not easy but productive (as therapy should be, really) and I have some homework for the next two weeks until the next appointment. I can email the therapist if anything arises before then, and that is always comforting since it helps to know that you have an extra person on your side when things get tricky. Not too many plans for the week ahead here, just SL stuff and spending time with Xan online ♥. I've been watching the housemate play Paleo Pines almost every day, and it is a very relaxing and wholesome activity that brings out lots of smiles and giggles. Cute Gifts For You

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm inviting you to the CUTE FOR YOU store, whose group is currently free to join and there are lots of benefits for its members. We have access to several gifts, as well as 10 different lucky boards that each offer a different prize if your initial shows up. I hung out for a while and won 3 different gifts in a relatively brief timespan, as the boards change every 5-10 minutes to a new letter. The brand's fashion style is generally what I would describe as casual chic and versatile, as many of the gifts have HUDs to change the color or texture. That is always a plus! I did see it mentioned in a different group (?) that the Cute For You group is only free for a limited time, but no ending date was given, so I'm going to recommend getting there quickly if interested :)

The first gift that caught my eye was the adorable Cute For You - 182-GIFT CUTE BARBIE GAMER outfit I'm enjoying here. Inside we find the knotted tank top, shorts, and pink sneakers each in sizing for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, as well as the gamepad (controller) in my left hand and matching gamepad earrings. If your Barbie dreams don't include video games, you can easily leave these bits unworn and enjoy the pink trimmed top with Barbie's logo on the front, and the denim shorts in a nice medium blue. 

I also claimed the CUTE FOR YOU - 110 group gift, and yes you will notice that many of their items are numbered rather than named :) This gift is a sleek mini dress with separate sleeves, each sized for Belleza X Classic, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The HUD has 40 textures each so we can mix and match between dress and sleeves, or you can wear the dress alone without the sleeves if you wish. Just think of all the possibilities! There are solids and patterns among the texture options, so if you're like me you might just have fun clicking all the buttons until you come up with a combo that seems fun :) 

Another gift I'm eager to share is called CUTE FOR YOU - 102. Its dress and panties will both fit Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, eBody, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies. There's also a HUD of course, with 29 colors to choose from for the top, skirt, panties, and the sheer skirt layer. It is certainly a flirty look, yet all the essentials are covered :)

For a more casual look that I'm thinking will be just right for rapidly approaching autumn, be sure to grab the CUTE FOR YOU - 106 group gift. Its top is uniquely styled with a bare shoulder, daring cutouts, and long ties dangling down the left side, while the pants are showing off a playful thong that comes up higher than the low rise pants. Both pieces are included in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya and Reborn bodies, all with a HUD offering 40 choices for the top and 38 for the pants. I did notice that the top's options are solid and patterned versions of the same 20 colors, with the solid shades appearing as choices for the pants to create a fully matching look if you wish. Personally I'm a year-round fan of hearts, so will probably pick the patterned options most of the time.

My final look of the evening is one of the generous lucky board prizes that you can only win with their group tag active if your initial (legacy name only, not display) shows up :) It's their CUTE FOR YOU - 133 outfit, a great choice for these warm days of late summer with its buttoned tank top and belted short shorts. They each fit Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and we get a very handy HUD with 25 textures for the top, 30 colors for the shorts, and 16 hues for the belt. The choices for the shorts include 14 different denim tones along with plenty of other solid colors, and you can tell from the picture that there are patterns and solids for our top. I want to wear it everywhere, LOL, at least while the weather is so warm still! 

My day was busy but productive, as my virtual therapy appointment had me taking baby steps to get used to feeling the anxiety and accepting it so it'll pass. It always does go away of course, but we want to reduce the amount of time it takes for my brain to process that no matter what the anxiety says I am still safe and will be fine soon enough :) I am headed to my parents' tomorrow for dinner, not sure yet if I'll eat there or take it home which is a huge pain in the rump for my mom I'm sure, but we are doing foods you'd find at a BBQ without the actual act of barbecuing. Turkey burgers and hot dogs cooked indoors, potato salad, that sort of thing, which I do enjoy. Ever since the grill broke a few years ago, my dad just hasn't had the urge to get it fixed and we do this instead for summer holidays. Avatar Fair Event

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features several gifts from the Avatar Fair sales event, which is new to me so I am not familiar yet with the details but it seems to be a weekly occurrence. That means the timeframe is somewhat brief, so the sooner you visit the better :) There are some designers there I was already acquainted with but a few who are new to me, and most seem to make their home at the shopping center where the event is located. Ewa Boutique and Sugar Dolls are two of the many you may already know, just a taste of the many talented designers who have sales offers and a gift or two for visitors who join the Avatar Fair group (free to join). There are even several gift cards as group gifts on the center wall near a bench, very close to where my link should land you :) That way you can explore the region and use those cards to select your own additional treats. I switched to my Legacy body, as I'd noticed that these designers tend to support that brand and a few other newer ones.

Aloha is the store we can thank for my first look of the evening, a bikini simply called 119. There are Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite sizes each for the top and panties, along with a HUD that offers 20 textures for each. They are a mix of solids and patterns, always a pleasure to mix and match so our bikini game is on point :) The bottoms are a sexy thong cut, balancing out the relatively modest top with its wide straps and nicely shaped cups. Would I wear this bikini top with a skirt or jeans too? You betcha!

When you hear "little black dress", you might envision something simple and let's face it, almost boring...I promise that is not even remotely the case with our BB - 352 BLACK gift from Blackbarry! The long lacy sleeves are a playful contrast to the daringly short hem and the plunging neckline that dips low enough to show off our navel. We receive sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies to accommodate many popular brands.

I also found a lovely gift at the Wild Girls Store display, their W.G - Lorena Set. This sexy dress fits Legacy, Perky, Pushup, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. There's also a HUD included as you can tell, with 10 colors each for the main dress and the straps, with 4 metal choices for lots of possibilities. I was disappointed in myself for not noticing the heart shaped opening on the midriff immediately, LOL, as I usually spot hearts instantly. I will blame the many terrific details for distracting me ;)

The dress comes in sizes for Kalhene, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, with the fuzzy jacket in 2 sizes that are just marked 1 and 2. I really wanted to show you the back of the dress without hiding it beneath the jacket too though, and if it is warm you may want to slip out of it when you reach your destination anyway :) 

My final look of the evening is our Sugar Dolls gift called {SD} MEGAN, a flirty outfit with bare shoulders and skintight jeans that are opened daringly in the front. Our top and jeans both fit Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, and I'm pondering how a sweetheart neckline is even more romantic when the hem of the cropped top is pointed so the front really does resemble a heart ♥. I'm sure as soon as you saw the different colors from left to right, you knew that I was going to mention a HUD, right? Well you'd be correct, it has 20 solid colors and 20 patterns for the top, plus 14 denim hues each for the front and back halves of the jeans with 6 metal tones including the red you see barely holding the fly closed on the right above ;) I still have a picture somewhere from the early 80s of a very fashionable younger cousin who had jeans that were two very different tones like this, front and back, and seeing it in fashion again these days still makes me smile to think of her. Fashion truly is cyclical, and I love it!

Wow, so Friday is here already and we made it through another week :) I made two small attempts to leave the house this week, slow exposure to agoraphobia triggers, and they were admittedly rough but I'm trying again tomorrow too. Not to the farmers market, that would be a lot at once, but just a few blocks away to a street (circle) where I can usually see horses and alpacas. I need to be able to leave the house again soon and stop canceling necessarily medical appointments, well at this point it would be rescheduling them all since I've flaked on 3. It is so weird to have to readjust to going out anywhere, but I am trying to be very patient with myself while still being gently persistent. Since this blog isn't about RL health struggles I am trying not to mention it every single post, but by the same token I don't want to be secretive in case someone out there is reading and can identify with what I'm going through. We are never truly alone in that regard, which can be comforting. Well I hope you all have a fantastic weekend ahead, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
