Designer News Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is packed with variety, thanks to the Designer News group and the many brands who are a part of them. There are lots who offer gifts for the group's members, so just join for free if you aren't already in this group and head on over to each store to pick up the treats :) I am a huge fan of multi-designer groups for this reason, and the opportunity to get updates from tons of stores in one spot. The weekend just feels like a good reason to explore, ya know?

Our first stop of the evening is AVAgirl, where I headed upstairs and grabbed the flirty Mica outfit for Designer News. The blouse, string (thong), and tie are each provided in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizing. It's also got a HUD with 5 colors for each piece, and a pair of BOM stockings in sheer white with straps and bows on the top :) They really do add a special little something, and I do need to note that the blouse is sheer in every color but more so on the lower portion. That's why you can see the thong through it from the rear view. 

Arcane Spellcaster is well known across SL for their exclusive bento and mesh offerings. If you follow the arrows on the floor to the group gifts room, you will find this fun top in different colors for so many groups, a treasure trove! The Top Katyna bright Jeans is the Designer News version, bringing a splash of denim blue to this cropped halter with sheer collar and band. It has been designed to fit Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. 

At this point I swapped to the Lara 5.3 original from my Lara X body, and changed into the charming BoA DeSiGN Floral Cardigan gift. It is one of several groups' goodies you can find here, a stunning deep navy with flowers in shades of pink and yellow. The top comes in Maitreya and Slink Hourglass sizes, and ties loosely in the front to produce a beautiful cascade of ruffles down the sides. It's fairly long in the back too, just so pretty! We can layer it over pants, skirts, leggings, bras, tank tops...there are plenty of possibilities out there.

If your weekend plans call for something sexy, I strongly suggest the GG20 Dress Bea *Salesita's Creations* gift :) This daring dress has a playful style with one side almost completely bared, and a diagonal hem from left waist down to just above the right ankle. It fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. To claim it you will need to right click and pay $1L, but it will be automatically refunded while the gift is delivered to you.

My final look is from ART & FASHION, one of their many gifts for various groups :) THE DEVIL IS FEMALE - LONG DRESS is a sheer gown with an intriguing image on the front, and a nearly bare back for extra flirt factor. There are 5 fitmesh standard sizes, along with Freya, Isis, and Venus each in Natural, Pushup, and Perky versions, plus Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. That's a lot of potential! I love the deep purplish hue too, adds to the mysterious feeling.

It was a decent day here, with a very rainy Saturday ahead that will probably include some wicked thunderstorms. Eek! I'm ready to stay home, possibly in bed lol, just to relax and prepare for next week. I was looking for a gift for my cousin's baby, and there are too many adorable choices so it will take me all weekend to decide at this rate ;) The suggestion is clothing for summer, so I saw a few shorts sets and some onesie sets that have potential. Otherwise I plan on enjoying some Hello Kitty Island Adventures, and then therapy on Sunday. My allergies are still in high gear, so I am crossing my fingers that things calm down there too.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we are back at BoA DeSiGN to see more group gifts and lucky board prizes. The group is currently free to join (possibly for their anniversary) and the group tag allows us access to both plus the midnight mania board. I am really enjoying their style and think these new looks are ideal for the upcoming weekend :)

For my first look this evening I am wearing their BoA DeSiGN Polly group gift. This outfit includes the cardigan and pants to fit Maitreya mesh bodies, as well as a HUD that offers 7 colors for each. The cardigan has a lighter panel that almost looks like a scarf, and the open front could reveal your favorite shirt or bra beneath if you wish to do some layering. 

Another wonderful group gift is the BoA DeSiGN B&W Overalls full Outfit. The strapless shorts romper is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with solid black heels that fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high feet. The pinstripes on the shorts are a fun touch, and I really like the exposed back!

The BoA DeSiGN Save Your Drama Gift certainly brought smile to my face with its cheeky charm :) It says "Save your drama for your Mama" on the front, and I think we've all encountered people who need to take that advice. The top and skirt each come in Freya, Isis, Venus, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. The pleated skirt has a cheerleader feeling to it, especially paired with the cropped tank top.

Over on the lucky boards, I was pleased to win this flirty BoA DeSiGN Lingerie Set. It is a single mesh piece with slender tube bra, detached sleeves, and straps on the hips. There are sizes for Maitreya and Hourglass bodies. Isn't it sexy?

My final look of the evening is also a lucky board gift, called BoA DeSiGN Basic Summer Dress Blue. I was drawn to the yellow butterflies on the peplum of the skirt, and who can resist the midriff cutout? The gift includes sizing for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. 

Hooray for the weekend! :) I have my grandmother's 96th birthday party to go to tomorrow (Saturday) and I am looking forward to it even if I am a bit nervous about the car ride there. My favorite cousins and their wives will be there, and it sounds like lots of relatives I haven't seen in ages (or possibly ever met) will be coming too. I guess it's a good thing the veggie tray I picked out is way bigger than I realized from seeing it online, LOL! BoA DeSiGN Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I get to show all of you some treats from BoA DeSiGN, whose group is currently free to join and that tag entitles you to about a dozen group gifts as well as the chance to win lots of lucky board prizes. There is also a midnight mania board for group members, so there are plenty of advantages to being in their group :) There are balloons and a Happy Anniversary sign up in the landing area so there is a chance that the free group is a limited offer for their anniversary in SL. If you are a member of multi-designer groups (like FabFree, SLFO, etc.) there are several gifts available for many of them so I suggest taking a peek through your groups and at the group gift wall.

My first look is the BoA DeSiGN Belted Dress Gift, which in addition to the bold black belt features matching pockets! There are sizes for Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, with a 6 texture HUD to change the look whenever we wish. This is a great style for any time of year, but I am thinking it has lots of autumnal appeal :)

I also eagerly claimed the BoA DeSiGN Mandala Dress Gift, another terrific group gift that is ours for free. It has one shoulder slipped off to the side, with contrasting color sleeves and a pretty mandala on the bodice. The dress comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, with a 3 texture HUD for added variety. The one not shown is a black and white beauty, so all three options are stunning. 

Next we see the playful BoA DeSiGN LazyDay outfit. This group gift includes the pullover and leg warmers each in a Maitreya size, as well as a BOM pair of black panties. There are HUDs too, with 6 colors on the dress HUD and 8 choices for the leg warmers. The bare shoulders are balanced by the long sleeves and cozy neckline, and the feet of the extended leg warmers fit best with mid height feet.

This lovely look is the group gift called *BoA* Long Red Dress. It has a halter neck and slits in the front and back of the bodice. There is also a built in belt and lots of luscious lace, with a train in the back for beautiful movement. Our gift fits Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. 

My final look of the evening is one of many lucky board prizes available to group members, their BoA DeSiGN Basic Coctail Dress. It is one piece with the appearance of two, in sizing for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The pale pink roses look exceptional against the black background, and I think this is another year-round winner.

It was a quiet sort of day, and I've got more plans sorted for the party Saturday like I will be bringing a veggie tray with hummus as the 'snack food' they vaguely requested. SLFO Gifts For You

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I was in the mood for variety, so I looked for some SLFO (SL Frees & Offers) group gifts and found lots of generous treats to share :) The group is free to join, and with that group tag active you can visit tons of participating designers and look for their red and white logo. The group sign is usually above or next to the pertinent gift, and many of these stores offer gifts for multiple groups so be sure to check for others you may be a part of for extra rewards!

My first look comes from BoA, whose SLFO gift is their Dress - 21 Textures. This formfitting mini tank dress comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with a HUD so we can choose from the 21 textures mentioned in its name. That is such a generous amount of options, and I think my favorite (in my current mood anyway LOL) is the pink one on the right above with flowers dotted with hearts in their centers. 

For a sheer sexy look, be sure to head to Spells & Charms to Go (formerly WitchCraft) and claim their S&C Margot Lace Dress. It fits Alice, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and has a 6 color HUD so you can pick your favorite hue of lace. We are definitely able to see through this lace, so keep that in mind when deciding where to wear it :)

I also visited V8 Underground (also known as Brii Underground) and picked up their beautiful **PIPER PERABO FASHION STYLE COMPLET OUTFIT** group gift for SLFO. The dress and heels each fit Legacy and Maitreya mesh bodies, and I am a huge fan of the golden chains adorning both and acting as halter strap and belt. 

Another gift that includes footwear is this striking I KNOW YOU WANT IT outfit from LEGENDAIRE. The dress, boots, and body chains in gold and silver versions are all provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. There is also a HUD for the dress with 8 textures to choose from, and one for the laces on the dress offering 8 colors. 

My final look this evening comes from :::FurtaCor::: and is their Alexandra Set group gift. To reach the back room where the group gifts are, you have to walk through a room filled with adult products (Miix Erotika event) so that is just a warning in case you have young ones running around while at the PC :) This thoughtful gift consists of the dress and heart garters each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, plus shoes to fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High feet. We even get to choose from 16 colors each for the dress and shoes, via the enclosed HUD. Treats At The Free Dove

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting The Free Dove, which is freshly renovated and looking fantastic, to pick up a few of the many generous gifts from dozens of thoughtful designers. We were here earlier in the month for the mini hunt, which has a few days remaining if you didn't finish it (see the signs located throughout the building) but this post is focused on the gifts we do not have to search for :) Many designers have individual displays with multiple gifts available, but I was feeling a bit random today and wanted to show you some gifts from a variety of stores. All of the gifts at The Free Dove can be yours for free just by joining their free group and wearing the "Blessed by a Dove" group tag when you click them. It is easy and doesn't cost a thing, and there are fashions for men and women as well as accessories, skin, shapes, hair, and much more. All of tonight's looks are on the same Womens Casual Clothing display. 

First I tried on the lovely Kelsey Dress Rose gift from TRS Designs. This vibrantly colored mini comes in sizes for Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Minim mesh bodies. Its style is elegant in its simplicity, and you will really stand out in a sea of black dresses. 

Next we have the wonderful BoA DeSiGN Katja outfit, another gift that I could not resist :) It consists of the top, skirt, and vest each in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, with sleeves to fit Legacy and Maitreya bodies. There is an outfit HUD that offers 4 choices each for the top, skirt, and panties (built into the skirt) in pre-selected combinations of colors and image on the top. The sleeves HUD has 8 colors to choose from, to complement just about any combo you chose for the rest of the outfit. As you can see on the right, it looks great without the denim vest and without the sleeves, just wear the ones that suit your mood or personal tastes.

For a cool spring evening, I highly recommend wearing the gift from [satus Inc] called Karen Sweater Dress Bohemian. It includes fitmesh standard sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body versions. The vertical stripes are very flattering and have so many nice colors that you could accessorize with just about any shoes and jewelry hues you wish.

The gift from May24 is called Diana Dress, a beautiful wrapped maxi dress with 3/4 length sleeves and fun neckline. There are 16 options on the texture HUD, 10 patterns and 6 solid colors, so you are sure to find one for any taste. I was in a print mood it seems, especially seeing bird silhouettes on the right :) The dress is provided in sizing for Freya, Legacy+Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies. 

One more look this evening, I chose the CAMILLA GOWN by BA Store which stands for Black Angel. You will look polished and quite stylish in this formal dress, which comes in standard mesh sizes plus versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies. There is also a HUD included with 5 options each for the corset, skirt, and straps in the back. The ability to mix and match is always appreciated, and I just love HUDs in general for providing versatility. 

It was a quiet day at home here, unlike tomorrow when I have an appointment and will be running a few random errands while I'm out and about. It was cold today and there were snow squalls, but fortunately they were more like blustery flurries that did not stick around on the ground or roads. I have seen a lot of analysis online (twitter, reddit, etc.) of the Oscars incident last night, and I think I still feel the same that both parties were wrong. I don't think she told him to do it, but her negative reaction seemed to motivate him for sure. With a history of bad blood between them, it was probably unwise to mention her at all when there were dozens of other people who could have been gently teased without incident. SL Frees and Offers

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it was time for a slight change of pace, for those of you who could use a break from holiday themed treats. Don't get me wrong, I love dressing in festive fashions this time of year, but I completely understand that whether you celebrate the holidays or not you could be just ready for something new :) I decided to pick up a few generous SLFO gifts, which is short for SL Frees & Offers. This group is free to join and has many participating designers who offer gifts for the group at their mainstores for us to claim with that group tag. Mostly I focus on clothing, but there are other types of gifts too which you can find out from the notecards at their headquarters in the mailbox there. 

My first stop of the evening was -AZUL- to claim their gorgeous GG [F&O] 2020Oct gown. It starts with a black pencil dress base, trimmed with orange frills and adorned with a full length skirt layer tied around the sides and rear. Our group gift includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies.

Next we have an intriguing look from Brii Underground which is called **JADA PURPLE VERSION POST APOCALYPSE STYLE COMPLET OUTFIT**. Buckle up (pun intended) because I have a long list of what's included here :) The corset top comes in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes (5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink) while the boots are provided in 5 standard sizes to fit various thigh sizes. The gloves and pants come in system/BOM layers as well as appliers for Omega and Slink. As for accessories, we have the earrings, collar, bracelets, and ninja thigh daggers which are all adjustable, and the system/BOM layer of full makeup that is responsible for my dramatic black liner and burgundy lips. I used my Maitreya HUD to tint my fingernails and toenails black so they didn't stand out so much, but feel free to do whatever you wish with your nails.

Cold weather in RL can make me crave going to a tropical locale in SL, and I think I've found the perfect outfit for that at Believe. Their SLFO gift called Megan Set consists of the ombre top and ruched mini skirt in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, along with the mermaid gold chains in all the same sizes except Venus. However there were 2 labeled Maitreya so maybe one of those is meant to fit your Venus body instead? The outfit will look just as pretty without the chain if you prefer of course. To claim this gift, please check out the bottom row of gifts and it is the 5th one from the left, as they are not labeled but it is a picture of this very outfit so it shouldn't be too hard to find.

I also visited BoA where I claimed their Dress - 21 Textures gift and proceeded to have way too much fun trying all of the buttons on the HUD ;) Yes, there are 21 of them to choose from, and the dress comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. I always appreciate versatility, so I am very grateful for this thoughtful gift.

My final look this evening comes from .:Beyond:. and is named Any - Pink Gift SL F&O. The asymmetrical dress has one bare shoulder opposite a long sleeve, and a hemline that is slightly lifted on one side and tied while being held closed with three strips on the other thigh. It includes Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. I am a fan of the knit texture, which I find gives a soft formfitting look that suits this style very well. 

It is another late night hockey game here, this one not going so well for my team but there is still time for them to turn things around.
