Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some more prizes to share from the Peace on Earth Hunt 11, hiding inside globes at each participating store. The hunt lasts for the entire month of December, and there are over 100 stops on the hunt path. Their website has locations, hints, and details of which stores need to be skipped (with the next LM linked) so it is helpful to have it open while you're hunting if possible. I also have a sneak peek for you, the Advent calendar gift from Entice for Saturday the 8th. When I post this it'll be about 2 hours from midnight in SL, so it depends how soon you stumble across the post if it will be available or not yet. You will have the entirety of Saturday to visit though and claim it :)
First we have the beautiful gown from KL Couture called Lauren acqua. It comes in two sizes (Maitreya and Classic Fitted) and has a frosty, shimmery texture that is sure to turn heads. The strapless top and mermaid style with train are flatteringly feminine.
Another glittery gown can be found at Wilson's Designs, who has 2 prizes inside their globe so there is one for the men as well as the Lady Godiva gift seen above. It comes in standard mesh sizes, and includes the sash on my shoulder in the right half of the photo.
Perhaps for your next formal event, you were craving something in a pale neutral so you could stand out in a crowd of black dresses or add some intense colors with your favorite jewelry...well look no further than SALTY. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have another event's anniversary to help celebrate, The Instruments is having their 2nd anniversary and most of the vendors are generously offering presents free to all, no group needed. The event runs until the 27th, so you have almost 2 weeks to head over there. Enjoy!
I couldn't resist starting off with a lovely tribute to Prince in the form of this gift from Selene Creations. I listened to Purple Rain a lot back in the day, so it was quite a treat to see the photo from the album cover immortalized here. It's included in several fitmesh sizes including standard, Belleza, and Slink. I accessorized with another anniversary gift, the Kawaii Bara Choker from !IT! which includes a HUD that offers resize options plus 16 flower colors to choose from. Personally I love the winged heart on the choker itself, and any added versatility from a HUD makes me smile.
If you're in the mood to twirl around in some fluttery flexi, be sure to pick up the lovely Sand dress by Lyrical B!zarre Templates. It includes the skirt and system layer pants and top, along with an Omega applier.
In a similar color scheme as that last gift, we have a short and sassy number from KL Couture called Julia Brown, with a resizable belt to fit over any of the standard mesh sizes of dress included. That subtle paisley print on the blouse goes so nicely with the hounds-tooth on the skirt.
Another fun anniversary gift is courtesy of Two Foxes, their Lorraine Dress in an intriguing pattern that reminded me of Spirograph (am I showing my age? LOL) or perhaps a crocheted layer over a classic sheath dress with cuffs and collar. This comes in standard mesh sizes plus a fitted version, so it sounds like a good fit for many of you.
I am wrapping up the evening's post with a sexy bodysuit which is our gift from Katak, their Maillot Body Black in system layers as shown along with appliers for Maitreya, Belleza, and TMP. I also decided on some playful pops of color, in the form of the gift from (CW) and their Layka jewelry set. It includes the necklace, bracelet, earrings, and ring with resize scripts for your convenience, and I greatly enjoyed the look.
Nail note of the night: LUNA has out a terrific gift for Slink nails, their Music Instruments Gift with a HUD featuring 5 different designs of various musical symbols on either a black or a white background, so 10 options altogether. There are separate HUDs for Slink hands and feet, but I'm hoping most of us have upgraded to the body parts that are compatible with either :) It's great that they include both though, just in case.
Yesterday was more tiring than I expected and my family visit was several hours longer than planned, hence my need for finally getting some sleep which cut out my blogging time. Hiya everyone! By now you know I love cart sales, so it's no surprise that I was thrilled to finally get to visit the Flawless Hot Summer Nights Cart Sale & Hunt. They have exclusive items for $100L or less from each vendor, and the hunt is for popsicles on or near each cart that contain free goodies. Most are a 3 color combo, I seem to recall at least one variation but they all have that traditional popsicle shape with a wooden stick, and look like a great refreshing idea for the heat :) So let's see some of the generous gifts you can find in those treats!
Summer certainly means bathing suits, and this one has an American flair for the upcoming 4th of July holiday. This is the prize from one of two popsicles at the TD cart, and I accessorized with the prize from J&A Rock Culture. Their sunglasses look unisex or maybe intended for the guys primarily, but I think their style is an interesting pairing for the feminine bikini. By the way, that bathing suit is 2 separate mesh pieces, each in standard mesh sizes.
The other prize from the TD cart is this fantastic dress, hotter than a two dollar pistol! The stripes really catch the eye, and that style is wonderful with the off the shoulder sleeves and short tight skirt. I added the Charlisse earrings from LUMINESSE, since every great outfit deserves a touch of sparkle.
Bikinis are a staple for summer, so it's good to see another gift in a very different style than the first one I shared, since variety is the spice of Second Life :) This cute polka dot swimsuit is our prize from the Jinx cart, and now I can't stop thinking of the phrase "itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini". I added the earrings from *N@N@* and their cart's popsicle, as the bead and swirl seem to work well with the dots of the bathing suit.
How about another smoking hot dress? This amazing gift from KL Couture is called Irma in lime, and the plunging neckline is sure to turn heads. It's also a perfect frame for the elegant necklace from Beloved Jewelry, which is in one of their popsicles, and the matching earrings are in the other. I can easily see matching them with plenty of other things too, so they'll get a lot of use.
Last goodies for the night, we have a gorgeous dress from SlackGirl called Keysha. The adorable ring is the prize from Look*Me and picks up the various shades of pink in the dress really nicely. We can always count on the Flawless cart sales for bargains and freebies.
Nail note of the night: {Posh Pixels} has a Slink HUD in their cart's popsicle for us, and that's what I used for all the photos tonight. There are several different manicures on there, with abstract designs like fractals, and a variety of colors can be seen in each. Well worth picking up! My hair is one I've previously blogged from Truth Hair's discount room, Eden, with the flowers you can change colors or completely turn off as I had for most of the photos.
