Malus Park Spring Fling

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings us to the lovely Malus Park Spring Fling Market, which is decorated beautifully for the new season. Let's start out with the gorgeous Psyche's Pstyles Eastern Spring Dress. It's their $200L exclusive offer for the event, with 6 colors of the gold embossed fabric available via HUD. I love the way the sides and back are open, yet the long skirt is beautifully full so it makes me want to twirl around and show it off :)

Be sure to check out the gift boxes at the event, with fantastic bargains like this *MARTINES*ASTRALGIFTY gown :) It is only $5L, and features an intricate lace pattern in two colors as well as a single shoulder neckline and daring side slit. Hooray for the weekend! :) I just have this weird feeling of forgetfulness, so I am trying to put that aside for now. I had a nice time at my parents' for dinner, but unfortunately they have a funeral (mom's cousin on her dad's side, I never met him; he was 79 and had a stroke) tomorrow so they won't be at the farmers market that we all usually go to. It's one of those parts of life that is unpleasant but common, and I do feel badly for those who were close to him. There is no featured lunch at the market, so it should be a relatively quick visit with possibly another stop or two beforehand. Then therapy Sunday late afternoon, and otherwise my plans are mostly game-related :) I'm good with that, LOL, and it doesn't mean I literally won't be doing anything else, just that I don't have clear cut times set to do anything else specific. Dreaming With Dove

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're back at the Doves Dream event, with lots of exclusive offers and a group gift at nearly every display. The group is the same as for Palomma Plaza, an all free bounty of gifts where The Free Dove used to be. We lost Palomma "Dove" Casanova in 2023, but her spirit of generosity lives on as long as we still honor her memory :) Her RL birthday was the 11th which was the opening date of this annual event, and we have until the 11th of April to complete our shopping and gift claiming. I've got tons of treats to show you from this sweet event, so this is part two of who knows how many posts ;) 

I started the evening with our MadCatCreations gift called MCC - woman - tank dress pink latex. They also have a men's gift too, and a full perm version at a different booth, so that's a triple thank you to them :) Our tank dress comes in sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, Mounds, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies. The texture  is such a fun one, with the highlights from the shine of the latex!

I always recommend trying them each on and deciding which you personally lean towards, I mean they are all in there for a reason :) The angel's wings stretch so gracefully across the collarbone area, and a strapless top would reveal this artwork nicely too.

Next I changed into the Asteria "Jojo" Gift for Doves, which consists of the dress and a separate halter so you can wear them together or enjoy the dress on its own. The dress color makes me think of mourning doves, as they are a creamy grey rather than a bluish tone usually, and I adore the style of this dress both with and without the harness.

I am one of the rare people out there whose life gets busier on the weekends rather than during the week, so they don't have quite the same party feeling for me. Not that they're bad or anything, but I do spend most of the week at home usually. So tonight was dinner at my parents', and tomorrow morning is a farmers market that I can't wait to visit :) I've been concerned about my friend's husband (also a friend, the couple from my Thursday gaming nights) who had a medical procedure done today, but he is home and recovering so that is a huge relief. Tomorrow's featured lunch vendor at the market is the hot dog truck, and their special for St. Patrick's Day is a hot dog with corned beef, kraut, Swiss cheese, and green mustard...that's about 4 reasons for a big hell no from me, LOL. I miss Irish potato candies, which I used to get each year from one of the vendors who has retired. Recently found out they are mostly a local thing, so I'll explain that there is no potato involved other than the shape - cream cheese, powdered sugar, and coconut mixed and rolled into small balls that are then rolled in cinnamon. I'm probably missing an ingredient there, vanilla perhaps. I haven't made them myself in about 30 years so it's hard to recall.  Hiya everyone! Tonight's post will give you plenty of reasons to be thankful for the FabFree in SL blog, and their in-world group which is always free to join. As you probably know by now, they've got a very impressive list of gifts available for their members, so it is a pleasure as always to show off a few of those for you :) I tend to go for the ones that have been there a while rather than the newest, just in case their timers are almost done ticking, meaning the designers might be ready to swap them out for new ones soon. I just don't want you to miss out on anything just because it's a bit less recent, since I certainly found some terrific treats down in the list a bit.

My first stop was La Feminique, where the Crystal Outfit waits for us on their back wall. The cropped top and short skirt are both provided in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Petite, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Peach, and Reborn mesh body sizes. The soft pink and pale sage green look lovely together, and both highlight the floral pattern of our pleated skirt very nicely.

I also visited the wonderful :.C!L.: Boutique and grabbed the fun I<3NY T-Shirt & Black Denim Skinny Jeans gift. Our cozy tee and dark slim fitting jeans will each fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. The "I ♥ NY" on the front is of course a reference to the New York state marketing campaign that I remember from my childhood, and I have been there several times (mostly back as a kid, teen, young adult) and did enjoy all of my visits :) 

This flirty look is our {Chaotic} Georgia outfit, and it became an instant favorite for several reasons :) The name is the same as a very good friend of mine, and I love the combo of cropped hoodie and subtly textured leggings. Happy Anniversary Malus Park

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it is time to visit Malus Park for their 5th anniversary. They've got a lovely shopping event for us to enjoy, with a familiar array of wonderful designers offering sales items and a free gift for all. No group is needed to claim these gifts, just click and buy for $0L or there are a few that you will buy for $1L which is immediately refunded. That creates a record in their vending system so we can receive a redelivery in the future if needed. We have until the 15th to stop by, so about a week and a half to enjoy the festivities :)

I combined two gifts here for a cute seasonal styling. The top is our TRS Designs Aviana Top Fall gift, a cropped sweater in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Malus Park Haunted Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got another wonderful hunt to tell you about, the Malus Park Haunted Hunt. It takes place in the southwest corner of the Malus region, which includes a zen garden, memorial garden, The Refuge, and and oceanside dock. It's a beautiful place to explore, and you'll be looking for tiny pumpkins for $10L or less :) There are hints for some, and preview images for most, on the Malus Park website. I'm always up for any excuse to visit there, lol, and picking up bargains is a perfect reason. You know these hunt prizes are deeply discounted to be this inexpensive, but they are full top quality offerings from the various designers. If your wardrobe or your living space need to be Halloween-ified or brought into autumn, come on down!

My first look is one of the $10L treats from {Monstarous}. Their Agatha Dress Mini includes 3 versions of sleeveless belted dress and bonus sweater to layer beneath, with seasonal prints for the dress and coordinating solid hues for our sweater. There's also a HUD of course, which offers 7 colors for the top and 6 for the shorts, with the difference being the black for the top which would make the bottom solid instead of having the intriguing silhouettes of tombstones in rows on our shorts. I love the versatility, being able to mix and match, and the RL weather here is almost still warm enough to wear shorts so I'm completely onboard with this breezy style for this time of year :)

My final look this evening will show you two of the 4 prizes from [ReM], which are all $10L apiece and well worth every linden. Their Witchy Nails are on the upper/left part of the photo, midnight blue with witches flying across the sky in pale gold that makes me think they are glowing from moonlight :) If you like your Halloween with a sense of humor (ditto!) then the [ReM] Cheeky Ghost Nails on the lower/right side ought to do the trick ;) Look at the little stinkers sticking their tongues out at us, cheeky indeed! We won, and that is definitely dedicated to the goalie's memory. I'd had the pleasure of meeting him several times, and you couldn't find a nicer guy who just genuinely loved life and talking to people. I'm trying to fight the urge to trim my bangs since they're poking my eyeballs, lol, but I'll be at the salon on Wednesday so I just have to be patient and try to ignore them. I've been watching Halloween movies on Freeform, which is a fun romp through family-friendly classics that give me lots of laughs instead of the heebie-jeebies.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we're headed to the BLUE SL Event, as you probably guessed from my using a song title with the color in it ;) It became a habit whenever I share group gifts from here, as I am impressed by how many songs have "blue" or any color in their names. The gifts you're about to see are yours for free with the event's VIP group tag, which is free to join. A couple of them needed you to pay $1L but it is automatically refunded while the gift is delivered, so no big deal. My first look is the lovely GS Gail FITMESH Dress w/HUD gift from Gidget's Style. This flirty full length gown has a daring neckline to match the high center slit on the skirt, and I do love halter styles :) There are sizes for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Prima, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies included, along with a HUD that offers 8 colors for us to select from. I did go with a dusky blue on the left as a nod to the event name, but they are all wonderful colors. Quick note - the color HUD is no-copy so you will have to rez out the gift and unpack it manually, since we cannot copy an attached no-copy item to our inventory. It's a quirk of SL and important to remember anytime an unpacking HUD doesn't give you all of its contents...just check to see if anything in there says no copy. If so, go traditional with unpacking.

Next we see the playful Allure Couture Suki Dress Set Rose gift. Its pretty pink skirt, C-string (crotch covering), and shoes + socks (single piece) will each fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. My Legacy feet were not playing nicely with the shoes at any height, so I simply used the body HUD to alpha them out :) Sometimes that's the easiest way to get boots or similar footwear to fit too, if they aren't intended to show off any of the foot itself like a plain sandal would.

It was a decent weekend here, hot but I did manage to stay cool indoors. Therapy went well earlier, and I am going a couple more crowded places this coming week to help convince my brain that it is safe :) I'm not necessarily looking forward to it, but understand that it's necessary to keep moving in the right direction. Spring Spectaculum Prizes

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are going treasure hunting, at the Spring Spectaculum 2025 event at Wonderland Beach. This annual cart sale and hunt is one of several seasonal happenings in this region, all of which are terrific sources of themed offers, discounts, and an assortment of prizes. This particular hunt has us seeking treasure chests that open up when clicked to show the gold coins inside, but the folder it delivers us will have something I consider even more useful in SL ;) These prizes include fashion, hair, accessories, home decor, and much more, for men and women. Spring Spectaculum runs until the end of May, so you might want to hurry. The prizes are free and no group tag is needed to claim them.

My first look of the evening is our charming Violet Skies - Lucy Spring Dress prize. Malus Park and Aggressione

 Hiya everyone! Tonight our focus is on variety, as there are two terrific hunts I am bringing to your attention. First is the Malus Park Hippity Hoppity Hunt, which has us seeking different colored eggs in the southwest corner of the Malus region (Zen gardens, Memorial garden, The Refuge, and oceanside dock). The eggs are each $10L or less, and there are lots of talented designers taking part as usual. Then we are zipping over to the Aggressione store, where there is a hunt for free Easter baskets filled with colored eggs. I could not find an ending date anywhere for this one, not in their group notices and not on their social media, so I am just keeping my fingers crossed that they are still there when you visit! I'm a Fitmesh Fanatic

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have several gifts to share for the Fitmesh Fanatics group, which is free to join and has many participating designers who share information as well as gifts with this group. It is always intriguing to visit the shops and see their special sales and new releases in person, and all I had to do was check out spots that were mentioned in group notices. Then I just keep an eye out for the Fitmesh Fanatics sign where the group gifts are located, although I make it a point to ensure that my landmarks for you are going to point you in the right direction with the red arrow from your map if you have those enabled.

Our first look of the evening is from Black Angel Store, called DENRA DRESS by BA Store. Just head upstairs and you'll find lots of generous gifts for various groups :) This one shouldered beauty comes in a lovely sapphire blue with attached belt, and tiny slits on both thighs. There are sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included.

The generous MadCatCreations is ready to charm us with their MCC - woman - Pink sweater dress gift. It has the appearance of a soft fluffy sweater layered over a satin slip dress, but is one single piece in sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, Waifu, Senra Jamie, and Star mesh bodies. I think the splashy tie-dye pattern of the sweater looks great with the geometric print of the skirt, very eye-catching and creative :)

I was really impressed by the style of this next gift, the [DUSZA] Mielec Bikini - Maitreya. It tells you right in its name what body it will fit, and I would say that it does so fantastically :) The pale sage green color is gorgeous, with a texture that reminds me of suede or crushed velvet. The fringed top and modest bottom are linked together to wear all at once. 

For my final look tonight, I am enjoying our TRS Designs Carter Dress Lav gift.
