Frosted Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some Holiday Shop & Hop 2021 treats to share, as you know I always enjoy these well organized SL events with lots of discounted offers and free gifts. There are 12 regions decorated for winter and Christmas, with 240+ designers taking part for your holiday shopping pleasure. I wrote a blog post a couple of days ago but it never got published somehow, so I made sure it is there now and am excited to share gifts from the Frosted region this evening. 

Silvan Moon Designs has a beautiful dress as their free gift, called !!!SMD!!! Moonlight Dance Gown Set-Aura. There are Maitreya and Slink sizes included, both with snowy white satin accentuated by pale teal decor and lots of lush ruffles. Their fashions in general are always such high quality that I appreciate their offering a gift for visitors and fans.

If you want to be someone's special present, you can wrap yourself in the zOOm - Abigail Dress which is one of several (4 I believe) gifts they are offering this round of Shop & Hop. This beauty comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, with a HUD offering 4 ombre texture options. I love the big satin bow on the belt, and the subtle pattern that could be snowflakes. 

Next I combined two more gifts from zOOm, starting with their Little Deer Cropped Sweater. The cute image is sure to bring smiles, and I like the combo of short sleeves with cowl neck. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. The pants with the playful pattern are our zOOm - Holiday Pants Candy Cane Hunt gift, which are created to fit the Maitreya mesh body. There are lots of tops that you can pair them with, depending on your mood and where you are heading, so experiment and enjoy.

This festive outfit is our Izzie Winter Gift from Look At Me. The sweater and skirt each come in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, and there is a HUD with 4 choices each. Those would be fun knit textures for the sweater, and coordinating solids for the high waisted ruffly skirt. Such a cozy look!

My final look of the evening is the Apple Blossom // Hilda SL Gift, a halter style mini dress that accentuates our curves by wrapping them in pretty plaids. The dress itself is sized for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, with a HUD so we can choose from 6 colorful textures. This is one of the many gifts that I find useful for year round wear, and that pink/purple combo on the left above brings my two favorite colors together so it is probably my favorite of the bunch. 

It was a strange day, starting with a change of plans so I did not wind up cooking with my mom tonight after all. That had to be moved to Friday, which works out fine for me too so I am just readjusting everything else. Shop and Hop Gilded

Hiya everyone! Tonight we take another look at some Valentine's Shop and Hop gifts, this time from the Gilded sim which is one of four full sims dedicated to the event. In addition to gifts from each designer (over 80 total!) there are discounted offers so you can pick up something special for your valentine or favorite friend, and treat yourself while you're at it. I always enjoy these events for the opportunity to see what longtime designers are creating these days, and being introduced to newer stores so I can expand my SL horizons.

My first look this evening is the free gift from [spectacledchic] called Hailey Set Love. The top and skirt each come in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizing, with bright red hearts on a deep blue background. The square neckline looks pretty both back and front, and you could use it to frame a necklace or just enjoy the way it flatters the cleavage. The skirt is gathered by a wide elastic band for a fluttery look, high waisted yet falling barely mid-thigh.

Combining elegance with sensuality, this look is the Vestito di Amanti Lovers Outfit from Bella Moda. This gift includes the jacket in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a Fitted size, with heels in Belleza, Maitreya, Slink High, and resize versions. There are two necklaces provided (triple black bead necklace and jeweled horn necklace) with resize scripts built in, and packed separately inside the gift you will also notice a black lace heart crotch for modesty which comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP bodies. 

MALified is offering a very generous gift for Maitreya mesh body wearers - a fatpack of their Victoria's Heart Lingerie. It comes in black, blue, cyan (seen on the right above), pink, red (left), violet, and white, each packaged separately with bra, panties, belt, skirt, and the entire outfit as seen on the left to wear all at once. On the right I am wearing the cyan bra and panties without the skirt or belt.

I have always been fascinated by flapper fashions, so the gift from Sylvan Moon Designs called Ain't Misbehavin' Dress Set certainly caught my eye. It includes the dress and beads separately (wear with or without) each in sizes for XS, S, M, Maitreya, and Slink. The way the back is draped and so revealing is very flirty, and the texturing is exquisite.

My final look of the evening is courtesy of Tachinni, their Shelby Dress Free Gift. It has a tiny animal print in lovely earth tones, and gathered sides at each thigh that are tied in place. It comes in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing.

More Birthday Gifts For You

Hiya everyone! Tonight we have more gifts from the SL 15th Birthday shopping event, which is spread over 4 entire sims with an impressive variety of designers taking part. They are offering discounted selections of their favorite merchandise, and most have a gift for everyone (no group needed) to help us all celebrate SL15B. Tonight's gifts can all be found on the Gilded sim, and they all may still be hard to get in so please be patient if the sim you want to teleport to is full. Clearly the event is well worth any wait :)

For my first look, we have not just one but two gifts from Envious. On the left is their Red Heart Dress, which is included in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, and TMP. The outfit on the right is their SLB15 tank top and panties, each in standard sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. It makes a fun souvenir since the elastic band of the panties says SLB15 on it.

Next we have the gift from Silvan Moon Designs, their SMD Well of Souls Gown Set. It starts with the dress and belt, each in XS, S, M, Maitreya, and Slink sizes, and the accessories continue with the collar which is unrigged so you can adjust if needed. The fingerless gloves come in 5 standard mesh sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink sizes, and there are flexi cape sections for each arm, upper and lower. All these pieces mean you can wear as many or as few as you wish, to make the look your own.

The gift from Bella Moda will have you looking beautiful from head to toe. It is their Distinzione Crimson Cocktail Outfit, and the sassy sequined dress comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. The matching platform sandals are in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High, and the gift even includes a matching set of jewelry: necklace, earrings, and rings for each hand. Be sure to unpack the jewelry from inside the main folder from opening the gift itself, so you can coordinate your accessorizing.

JellyRoll has a duo of delightful dresses as their gifts for us, the Slip Dress Black Omega and System on the left and the White version on the right. Each includes (just as the name says) system layers and an Omega applier for the top and pants, plus standard mesh sizes of the skirt panel. The top has great details such as the tiny bows and stitched boning, and the mesh panels are a huge improvement over the days of little prim flaps that had to be adjusted manually and never looked quite right when we moved our legs at all. I think I was inspired to mention that by the fact that we are celebrating 15 years of progress and growth in Second Life :)

The final treat I'd like to share tonight is from {ZOZ} and will decorate your nails with sweet flowers. This gift is called Daisy Trio II Polish, and offers 9 varieties on appliers for Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and Vista Bento. The line of daisies acts as a divider between two colors on each nail, some subtly different and some bold transitions, but all with a bit of shimmery ombre texture.

Monday Morning Treats

Hiya everyone! I am shifting over to blogging in the morning a few days a week so you can see the Advent calendar offers with plenty of time to log in and pick them up throughout the day. I also have some more prizes from the Peace On Earth 10 Hunt to share, since there are so many! There are almost 300 stores taking part in this round, so I do suggest starting soon if you wish to collect all the hidden globes. The hints are on the website as well as on signs at most of the stores, just give the sample globe a click and read local chat for your clue. 

My first Advent calendar stop was Emerald Couture, and they have not one but three different calendars awaiting. The one with cubes on shelves is for everyone, no group tag needed, and in #4 for today you will find this EC Retro Patty Blue dress and matching shoes. The dress comes in standard mesh sizes, while the heels are for Slink High feet. The wall to the right has two advent boards, both of which need the Emerald Couture group tag (free to join), the top one is for the women and the bottom is for the men, so yes guys, you have you very own Advent calendar here. I really appreciate that there is something here for everyone.

Sweet E's has an Advent calendar for their free group as well, just head upstairs and click the correct date with your group tag active. Today's gift hiding inside #4 is this cozy shirt and plaid bottoms, each in standard mesh sizes plus Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a Fitted version. I just might wear that adorable shirt with a pair of jeans instead for variety, and in warmer seasons I can add a simple tank top to these pants to change things up a bit. 

I am happily displaying two Peace On Earth hunt prizes here, let's start with the bold red mini dress. It is by Daddy's Choice Designs and called Red Latex Mini, and includes standard sizes, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. It looks to be materials enabled, as it was picking up some shine from lights in my skybox. My tattoo is our prize from White Widow, called Earthling, and this includes plenty of appliers for various mesh bodies and heads: Maitreya, Catwa, Genesis, Belleza, Lelutka, Omega, TMP, Signature, Sking Brazilia Doll, and Slink. There are no system layers, so this one is for mesh only. I used the Maitreya HUD on my body and the Omega applier for my GA.EG head, which allows it to trail up behind my right ear the way you see in the photo.

The globe at Facepalm holds this +FCC+ Carol dress, in a deep green with a red collar and belt/bow. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. The colors are ideal for Christmas, yet at first glance the green appears black so it isn't strictly seasonal. 

My final look is another hunt prize, this being from Silvan Moon Designs. It is called Belladonna Ravenwood Dress Set, and it is a single piece for easy wearing, in Maitreya and Slink sizes. It has so many terrific details, from the overcoat to the vest, ruffles at the neck, rows of shiny buttons, and the different textures of the skirt. This is a very eye-catching gift for many occasions and moods.

I am still awake from last night's post, and yes it is after 9AM in my little corner of the world... *yawn* I guess my insomnia is almost an advantage at odd times like this. Once I get this wrapped up and the credits all neatly together, I will probably hibernate all day ;) It is a chilly day with frost on the lawns this morning, so I'm glad to be staying indoors and warm.
