Hiya everyone! If you haven't visited the Kiyomizu LB Bon Dance yet, you have a few more days to enjoy the celebration and win some lucky board prizes. The idea is fun and simple, just click on a dance pad and after 2 minutes of dancing around in a circle while enjoying the music, you are eligible to click any of the surrounding lucky boards that have your initial or a wild card (?) showing. They offer clothing, accessories, decor, and more from the Kiyomizu Mall vendors. Behind them in the displays are plenty of items for sale as well, so you can shop for bargains while dancing and waiting for your letter to appear. Tonight I have a few prizes to show you from the many possibilities that await.
My first look is from **milky-way called Ribbon Dress - Sky with a soft cloudy pattern and that sweet bow adorning it. This comes in standard mesh sizes, I did just fine with them and my alpha HUD for my Slink Physique body. The clouds really make me smile, looks like a clear and cheery day.
I pulled together another terrific look for summer by combining a clothing prize and a jewelry prize. The outfit is the JANE kingyo bra, water blouse, and skirt, which each are provided in standard mesh sizing. The sheer blouse shows off the fun koi design beneath, but feel free to leave it off if you choose. The necklace and matching earrings are courtesy of GJK called Shell, and they do have a delightful pearly texture.
Hapi*Rabi has this adorable Laurie dress as one of the prizes in their lucky board, and since it made me think of sunny days and picnics I thought this would be a nice time to also show you the {Akorat} Icebar mango, doesn't it look delicious? You don't even need to unpack it, just add and it appears in your happy avatar's mouth.
Another wonderful dress and another yummy frozen treat! The dress is our lucky board prize from Le muguet, their off-shoulder mini dress in two fitmesh sizes. One has alpha built in for the Maitreya body, I am wearing the other and it looks terrific. I love the style as well as the scattered petals. As for my adorable snack, it's called Cute Ice Cream chocolate and there was no landmark or store name inside. whoever is responsible for this cutie I am grateful, it has an animation built in and is precious.
Finally I thought you might enjoy a closer look at the nails I also won on their lucky boards :) These are by [C.H.L.O.E.] and are called Polka Dot Nails PINKxBLACK and include HUDs for Slink and Maitreya. I have always liked the combination of pink and black, so I appreciate this prize very much.
I got my hair cut and colored today, my usual auburn and a simple trim, but it is a relief to feel like it just might behave better now. I am not a product junkie, and wasn't all that thrilled when she commented that you don't need much of this styling cream... *squirts at least 3-4 tablespoons into her hands*...my hair was crispy so I had to rinse it out when I got home. Hiya everyone! Tonight I am showing you a random sampling of the 10 great prizes found at the Free Dove hunt for August from 1 Hundred. Each month they feature 3 designers and have them hide hunt prizes around the Free Dove store, and 1 Hundred has hidden 10 sculpty doves for you to seek out. There are doves as decor in the building, so hovertext is definitely your friend for this hunt :) Just look for ones that are for sale when you mouse over them. A bit more advice, remember that doves like to fly so look high as well as low. All the prizes are system layer clothing with appliers included, a HUD that has Lolas, Omega, Slink, Maitreya, Belleza and more buttons in various categories. They are very handy HUDs and cover a wide variety of bodies.
When you find dove #1, you can claim this fun textured crop top with 3/4 length sleeves, called After Hours Shirt in Blue. I used the Slink Physique buttons from the multi-HUD included along with the system layers, and I am wearing a marketplace freebie pair of jeans from Delizios that I love for helping me show off shirts, I've blogged them before and surely will again.
1 Hundred offers great outerwear but also plenty of pretties for beneath those outer layers, like this Be Sweet Set in Tangerine from prize #3. From the vivid stripes tot he delicate lace and bows, this is one comfy looking and beautiful set! System layers and multi-HUD included for this lovely giftie.
Back to outerwear, this is the prize hidden in dove #4 and is their Cozy Time Sweater in Hot Pink. This is included in system layers and the multi-HUD as well, and textured so beautifully. My white jeans from Delizio's from the marketplace made another appearance here too, to prevent body parts making an appearance ;) The white picks up the lace and bow on the neckline perfectly, as well as the edging of the sweater itself.
This delicate beauty could be hiding under the sweater and jeans above, but it really deserves to be seen! Dove #7 holds this Island Mini Set in Mint, with a stunning racerback tank and boy short style panties each trimmed in lovely lace and mint bows. This texturing is exquisite, it looks 3 dimensional and like it feels soft and sensual. System layers and multi HUD for this as all the prizes.
One last peek, this is prize #8 called Paris Passion Mini in Red. It features more fantastic lace and beautiful bows, plus those striking stripes in a sexy style. The one side being shorter does carry around to the rear, showing one bum cheek from behind. I really love the touches of red and how they pop against the black and white.
Today went pretty well overall, the blood draw was quick and almost painless so now I just wait for some good results :) I go to the same lab each time and the same tech is always there, she is excellent at what she does and always puts me at ease with how friendly she is. Tomorrow's appointment is at the salon, time to get my hair under control again! She can cover up that tinsel I'm sprouting, my roots are definitely heavy on the silver right now. Tonight I have some more prizes to share from the Womenstuff Hunt, the gridwide extravaganza that has 150 stops and plenty of prizes for either free or $1L for you to find in the hidden red t-shirts. Please be sure to follow the hints from their website, and since some still have previous prizes out (there was a round in March of this year along with some prior rounds) be sure to check the number of the one you're seeking. You can certainly pick up the older ones too if you stumble onto them :) Let's have a look at some more finds, shall we?
This fun casual look is our prize from Shae's Designs, called Terra Camouflage Outfit. The free prize includes the cargo pants in standard, Belleza Venus, Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Maitreya, Physique, Hourglass, and Tonic Curvy, while the tank/jacket comes in standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizes. Even the matching flip flops are provided in several sizes: classic, Maitreya, Slink, Belleza, and original. I'm not sure what the difference between classic and original is, but I appreciate the variety and hope they help everyone select a great fit.
Here we have two different gifts, starting with the stunning dress from Eluzion. This is their Shenika Top and Skirt, actually a single mesh piece, in 8 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. The cuff bracelets are from Lyrical B!zarre Templates, called Leels bracelets, and they are a chic match for this dress but can also be paired with more of your favorite outfits.
I had a lot of fun showing off the free prize hidden in the t-shirt at Black Rose Designs, thanks to its texture HUD with 5 lovely color choices. This is the Summer Halter Dress and is provided in what I think of as the lucky 13 of sizes: 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. I am showing 3 of the 5 colors from the HUD, although I was fond of all of them since I do enjoy pastels.
It's no secret that I am partial to pink, so you know the free prize at GeMyles caught my attention :) This is their Sherlynne Pink Dress and Heels, and includes the solid pink and pink floral versions of the delightful dress in standard, Belleza, Maiteya, and Slink sizes. The matching shoes are provided for Slink high, cute lacy sandals.
My last look of the night is a versatile bathing suit and flip flops set just right for the beach. This is our prize from Unforgettable Temptations, where just $1L lets you claim their SEXY SUMMER Outfit. The swimsuit comes in 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Maitreya, and Slink sizes, and has a HUD with 6 texture choices. The red color appears twice since one has the black bottom and the other a solid red. Our flip flops have a HUD with 5 colors (that red shade only needs to appear once to match all the swimsuit colors) and has sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink flat feet. I love the little bows on the hips.

Hiya everyone! Have I mentioned lately how much I love the Womenstuff Hunt, with 150 talented and generous designers offering so many delightful prizes? Well yes, actually I have, LOL, but it bears repeating :) You are looking for a red t-shirt, either $0L or $1L, and many of the prizes are exclusives just for the hunt so if you see something you like, pick it up now while you can. Some of the stores are familiar to me, mostly from other hunts, and a few have been new to me so it's been a pleasure visiting them and seeing their creations. I haven't finished hunting yet, not by a long shot, so I get to explore even more terrific places in the upcoming days. Here are tonight's handful of glimpses at some hunt treats.
This pretty pair of dresses is our $1L prize from Wicca's Wardrobe, their Belle Dress Strawberry I and II (I on the left, II on the right) with a bit of a reverse between them...the fabrics have flipped locations from one to the other, and the left has gold trim while the right has black. Each are provided in many mesh sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, TMP, and Venus. The style is cute yet sexy, and the berries add a fresh touch.
Stop #023 in the hunt is [KAOS] and their gift hidden in that red t-shirt is their Diane Dress in a bright cheery teal shade. This comes in standard, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink sizes for a fabulous fit, and aren't those slashes down the sides sexy? I can picture wearing this to a club next to a beach, with an itty bitty bikini beneath it, then after dancing you can just wriggle out of it and lay down on the warm sand for a while.
We go from vivid colors to dramatic black and white :) This is our free prize from Sweet Temptations, their Tao outfit and it has several components. The top is mesh in standard sizes plus a fitted version, and the bra and pants are system layers plus TMP, Maitreya, and Omega appliers. There are boots in the picture and the package contained an alpha layer and base for boots, but not the actual boots themselves. I'm sure you can pair it with any boots (or heels) you already own and look terrific!
Let's take a peek at what House of Joi has hiding in their free t-shirt. This is their Knit Halter Wine and Capris Black Belted, each in system layers with Omega appliers for the mesh body lovers. I will actually be wearing this while hunting later, it just looks that cute and comfy! I admit I have gone gridwide hunting in fancy dresses, but it seems to make more sense to do so in casual clothing.
One last look of the night, this is the free prize from Ishara called GV Twisted Tank Dress. It has a HUD with 8 textures, 4 soft colors and 4 black variations of which you can see two above. This comes in a fun bundle of mesh sizes, too, which I call the lucky 13 set: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. This is another fun reason to enjoy this hunt, for sure.
It was a slightly hectic day in preparation for a very busy weekend, and my goal is to try to get more rest while still enjoying the activities I have in store. It all starts with dinner tomorrow with the parents, hehe, a weekly tradition that has been taking place for many years and is generally a fun one. Hiya everyone! I found some more Womenstuff Hunt prizes to share tonight, some free and some just $1L so a great mix of very affordable treats to pick up for yourself. Just hunt for those little red t-shirts following the hints on the website, and you can enjoy these prizes too.
This outfit may be one of my favorites so far, for being so cute and summery! This is our prize from LOoLOo and is their Hibiscus Set. It includes the top and shorts each in 8 fitmesh sizes (standard, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink) and a flower for your hair that is included but not shown. It attached to my hand by default and I had a hard time adjusting it to my head, LOL, just not good at the fine detail editing when that tired ;) The details on this outfit are amazing, from the pretty lace on the shorts to the matching embroidered flowers of both the shorts and the shirt. Just one little linden for all this, what a deal!
Wicked has another marvelous gift for us, hidden in their t-shirt for just $1L is the Linda Jacket and Jewelry set, with the jacket (and built in shirt) in standard sizes plus the bangles and earrings too. I always enjoy seeing what Wicked comes up with for each hunt, and these rich colors and satiny texture do not disappoint.
I also found the prize at Moolala, who has a naughty little t-shirt in 5 amusing designs for us. The top is system layers plus a HUD for Maitreya, Slink, Belleza, and Omega, and the designs are I <3 Nerds (left), Bitch (right), Nerdy, F*ckin', and POW. That slight censoring was me, not them, and not out of being offended but wanting to avoid being offensive when my blog isn't set for adult content :) The shirts cover just enough, and who can resist something/one sexy with a great sense of humor?
Another fun shirt can be found inside the hidden shirt at StormCrow Design, their LOIS Tank Top in a lovely icy blue, provided in a slew of mesh sizes (standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, and TMP) along with a terrific HUD for 10 color choices for those metallic studs. As you can see, I had a bit too much fun playing with the HUD and am showing you 3 of those color choices :) For the pants for the last 3 photos, I went with a favorite Marketplace free gift that I've blogged before from Delizio, this time black was my choice among their many included colors. A beautiful way to wrap up this evening's post is with this lovely lacy confection from Vanbeecks called Green Poppy Dress. This includes the flexi skirt (so pretty in motion!) and shoulder ruffle which has an ethereal glittery quality, and the top and pants are in both system layers and an Omega applier. It was another warm day, but at least not a rainy one, and for my fellow Pokemon GO players I unexpectedly caught a Snorlax in a parking lot :D Mine was CP 42, my companion's was CP 854!! So not fair, only one level difference (I'm level 16) between us which should make minimal differences but that's not minimal. I'm not even mad, more bemused at how utterly random it is sometimes. Hiya everyone! I am so excited for the Womenstuff Hunt this season, especially after I enjoyed the one back in March so much. It just started yesterday afternoon, and runs throughout the month of August, so plenty of time to find those 150 hidden red t-shirts for either $0L or $1L. Their site has a list of URLs and hints for all the stores, and many of the prizes are exclusive for the hunt which is an awesome touch as well. I'll start us off with a few selections from my finds thus far...
This first outfit is the Prism Jiana Jumpsuit by Journey, in Aqua Sunset which is a very fitting name. The prize there (#003) is free and includes standard mesh sizes, such terrific colors in this elegant casual look.
Vaxer is stop #004 in the hunt, and their generous gift is the Shiny Night outfit you see here. The jacket is mesh in standard sizes plus a fitted version, and the top and pants are system layers with a TMP installer and a HUD for Slink, Belleza, Ebody, Maitreya, and EVE. That HUD is super handy because it lets you choose between the pale gold and light silver for the jacket, and 4 colors for the top/pants. Besides the purple and wine you see here, there is also a gold and a black to choose from. Very versatile, and super sexy!
I also found the prize at Mariposa #007 and just look at how pretty this complete Nilsah outfit is! It includes the blue glitter dress in several fitmesh sizes (standard, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink) and the matching shoes in rigged or unrigged versions, and even that adorable purse with the satin bow across the front. Everything you need to look pulled together and gorgeous in one easy folder, as a free hunt prize, what could be better?

Hiya everyone! This morning I was so excited to complete the new Sn@tch 7 Seas fishing set, called Girls Over Flowers. As a reminder, when you purchase the official 7 Seas rod from a vendor (the one at Sn@tch or anywhere else on the grid you encounter one) you can fish unbaited at Sn@tch and catch these amazing sets that change every 2 weeks or so. It's an initial investment for the rod that pays off for the rest of your Second Life :) I really do need to find out what other clothing stores offer fishing prizes, as 7 Seas strongly encourages custom prize givers. The newest set is 23 pieces, system layers and Omega appliers plus 6 mesh skirts (each bagged with standard sizing and an alpha layer) and even a gorgeous makeup tattoo layer. I loved the booties, too! I suppose you'd like to see some photos...
I started off with the Sn@tch GoF Crop Sweater in Aqua, matched it with the Buffy Calico Mini in Aqua, and added the cute Chained Booties in White. I used the Omega HUD I caught for the sweaters, but each has a separate system layer to catch as well. Each bootie and the shoe base are separate catches.
Switching things up a bit, I added the GoF Over The Knee Socks in White (Omega, system layer is a separate catch) and on the left I am wearing the sweater in grey with the skirt in blue. On the right, the sweater is in blue but the skirt is the grey version. That is really quite a view from behind, isn't it? :) It is also interesting how posture really affects height, as that pose makes me look way taller than the left side pose. These GoF names keep making me think Goblet of Fire, my Harry Potter addiction is showing!
The next stage in my experimenting with this terrific fishing set was to add the adorable bows to the socks, which are items #10 and #11 to catch, along with #12 the HUD to change their colors to match all those great sweaters and skirts. I also added the stunning makeup that is part of the set too, Sn@tch Freckle Makeup in Pink Kitten. There is a closer look at the end of the post. On the left I am wearing the sweater and skirt in Pink, on the right they are in Purple.
The last color to share is a soft yellow, in both the sweater and the skirt. Even the bows have been changed via their HUD to match this buttery shade.
My final image of the night is a better look at that amazing makeup, a before and after shot in fact. The left is without, the skin I am wearing is the current group gift from WoW skins and has just the softest touches of makeup. On the right I've added the Freckles Makeup in Pink Kitten, and you can see that it does indeed have a sprinkling of sweet freckles across the cheeks and nose. The eyeliner is superb, I am a huge fan of the cat eye liner look, and those lips are pillowy perfection. I think of this look as just this side of innocent ;)
Today was a better day here, it's still hot and somewhat rainy but I managed to get outside while it was dry for a while. Good day for Pokemon GO, despite the game's best efforts to make things difficult for us...I got 2 new pokemon including the one who got away (now my Pokedex shows caught 63/seen 63, yaay!) plus I hatched a couple of eggs. Hiya everyone, or perhaps I should say aloha! I visited the Aloha Fair 2016 this morning, lots of goodies to see everywhere among the lush scenery of huts and palm trees and beautiful flowers. Many of the designers have placed a gift out for us, either in a big beach ball or the surf board from last year, a few even just in their own packaging, either free or $1L. I did see a few for $5L or so too. The tropical theme lends itself to so many possibilities, and I am showing you a sampling of the many gifts I picked up.
First we have a sweet retro style bathing suit from Gypsy Chic, their $1L gift for us. It is provided in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, so helpful for all the mesh bodies and various sizes around the grid these days. My bracelet is one of 12 found in the free gift from MOoH! because it is their Zodiac set of Rainbow Friendship Bracelets. I am wearing the Aquarius (waves for the sign of the water bearer) as my real life zodiac sign, I think my avi would be Libra based on an early September rez day. I love the colors and the fun styling!
Next we have another dollarbie gift, this time from Kara Baby, a flirty bikini simply called Aloha in system layers and appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and Omega. The pattern on the top is eye catching and very flattering, and the bottom covers just enough.
*LX* has a great gift out for us as well, their Melanie in Sea. This dress is provided in mesh body sizes only for the fair, Hourglass and Maitreya and Physique sizes, and a HUD with 6 lovely color options. I added another gift found at the Aloha Fair, the Tropicalia Necklace from Lyrical B!zarre Templates, which is a terrific offering that matches the atmosphere of the event quite nicely.
Everyone needs some nice flip flops for the season, and I found 2 fun pairs at the fair. On the left, you see the BLAM flip flops from Mutiny in Heaven, which are provided in classic, Belleza, and Slink sizes for a great fit. The pattern does indeed say BLAM on it :) The cuties on the right are Slipper Originals' gift for us, their Aloha gift in Maitreya, Slink, and TMP sizes. Those starfish are a great touch!
Sometimes we just need more cute in our lives, and Les Sucreries de Fairy will gladly provide some with their Coconut Bear gift for all visitors to the fair. She is hiding in a coconut surrounded by leaves and beneath a few flowers (Cala lilies perhaps?) but those biiiig eyes just beg for hugs! Simply add the item from your inventory with your AO off and you can snuggle this lil love too. I am still wearing the Melanie.Sea gift from *LX* in yet another color from that fun HUD of theirs.
