Bleeding Solstice Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to invite you to Bleeding Solstice by Difony Events. It is a Gothic shopping experience that brings the darker side of each season or holiday they cover, and I am always curious to see what their 100+ designers have to offer. In addition to the many sales items, nearly all of the displays have a glowing globe next to them with a free gift inside (either buy for $0L, click to deliver, or pay $1L and you'll be refunded) for us to enjoy with no group tag required. That's a mighty fine way to start the weekend and to celebrate Sunday morning's summer solstice :)

I'm coming in hot with two gifts combines for the start of the post :) The EKC - Bloody Rose Solstice Jackets is actually a pair of jackets (the one on the right is named grey) which are each provided in Legacy and Reborn mesh body sizes. They are slightly opened in the front but nothing scandalous, lol, and fall just above the natural waist. It seemed like a natural pairing to add the aprelle wish jeans SOLSTICE GIFT, as it is fun to contrast with bright white adorned with a few black stars. These flare jeans will fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. I appreciate how well they hug the booty and thighs, then we reach the knees and they widen to give a sassy look :)

Speaking of sassy, I had another pair of jeans I wanted to share but not another top. So instead of a shirt, I'm covering my breasts by hugging the ROUXE - Plushie GIFT :) Is it odd that I love it without being sure what it even is? I see bearlike ears, little paws/hands in front, a sweet smile, pretty eyes with envious lashes, and what looks like a tuft of hair/fur atop the head as it peeks out from a celestial designed bucket. It has a built in holding pose as you see here, and I am having fun snuggling it for sure. The AnaSTyle - ZAMIRA GREEN PANTS are a low rise style in pale sage green, which come in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, Squish, and Waifu mesh bodies. We've got another snug fit down to the knee, then flare to make room for whatever footwear you prefer. 

Next I've shimmied into the alluring V-Twins - Kaothic Outfit gift, which I highly recommend for a wild weekend. The bra top, jacket, shorts, and boots are each included in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There are 2 HUDs enclosed as well - the outfit HUD has 9 colors to choose from for the jacket, jacket belt, top, shorts, and belt, plus 4 metals each for the jacket and belt. The boots HUD is similar as the same 9 colors can be applied to upper or lower portions of the boots. Bonus that I can't forget to mention, the fishnet stockings you see here are also provided as a BOM layer so easy peasy to wear :) I'm pretty sure this store specializes in biker wear if I recall correctly, so get your motor running!

My final look of the night is one of many wonderful nails available among our gifts :) The Nyxa gift called NY - GEM NAILS especially caught my attention with the fact that we receive not only the base nails but add-ons of gems to layer on top in several colors. The gems come in black, pink, red, and white versions, and those plus the square base nails are all included in Gen X, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes. There's also a HUD with 11 colors for the square nails so we can really mix and match things! Just hide the nails built into your hands (body HUDs usually have settings for this) and add the corresponding square nails, then choose your gems if you wish. I love the gold accents too, terrific on any color of gems.

Are we all ready for the weekend? I'm sure I will be extra toasty tomorrow at the farmers market, but sunscreen will be generously applied so I don't become a lobster ;) I'll be getting some tasty pierogis, and probably a few other things to nibble on throughout the week. Delightful Doves Dream

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're back at the Doves Dream event, in the same region as Palomma Plaza which is noteworthy because that is the group tag you'll need to claim all the free gifts featured here. That's right, in addition to all the wonderful sales offers we can claim lots of generous gifts for the Palomma Plaza group with your "Doves Angel" tag active :) The event opened on Dove's heavenly birthday of March 11th, and continues until the 11th of April so you've got time to grab some demos, claim your gifts, and finalize your purchases. I've got my eye on at least three items to buy before then, lol, but I had to pay rent first of course. I love treating myself to something special in Dove's memory, and sharing these thoughtful gifts is a fun way for me to honor her.

My first look of the evening is the charming La Feminique Crystal gift. Isn't this perfect for spring? The short sleeved crop top and miniskirt are each provided in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Petite, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Peach mesh bodies. The top has a keyhole opening whose trim converts to straps that wind around the midriff to tie in the back, what a fun detail! 

Maybe it's because I am a child of the 70s or it's just a love of bright colors, but I have always been drawn to tie dye like this stunning ~Sassy!~ Lenore tie-dyed dress. Our gift includes Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, with a rainbow of colors and blue trim that matches the sheer ruffle on the neckline. We could pair this with just about any hue of jewelry or footwear, so it's quite versatile in addition to being so eye-catching.

A little something just right for warmer weather (which just arrived here in RL with a vengeance) can be found in the Suna Designs giftbox. Their S-Bebina purple bodysuit has buttons in the front but only one is in use, so we get a fun flash of navel :) The butterfly pattern made me smile, looking great in purple with slightly deeper purple halter strap and frilly edging. This cutie fits Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies with ease. 

The beautiful {Le'La} Zunaira Romper Gift brought a wistful smile to my heart, as I know that sunflowers were very special to Dove and reminded her of her sister who passed several years prior; Dove even had a Sunflower Park memorial garden for her beloved sister. Our outfit consists of the top, skirt, garters, and heels, all in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Please note - this gift is one of two in the center area of the event, rather than at the Le'La booth itself. I had to remind myself to point that out because you simply don't want to miss out on this :)

I've got two gifts combined for my final look, either of which can also be paired up with many other gifts or items you already have in your wardrobe. The Adore Amore Madilyn Sweater White is a lovely long sleeved knit top that twists in the front, showing off cleavage and a bit of midriff. There are sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included in our gift. In another nod to the classic fashions of the 70s, I'm wearing it with the aprelle palomma jeans. This gift has cherry blossoms down the front of each leg, and bellbottoms with solid pink inserts to match the flowers. The textures are exquisite, with the whiskering at the front pockets and hints of the folds that walking or sitting creates on the back of the knees. Did you all have a pleasant weekend? :) Mine was pretty good, starting with a few errands on Saturday morning before and after the farmers market. It was a bit stressful being in the car that long, but I got through it so that is a positive. Things are progressing very nicely in the Pokopia game I've been enjoying, and therapy was productive this evening. Randomly I'm listening to music tonight instead of watching old tv shows and I think it's boosting my mood more than I expected :) It's a 70s/80s channel from the satellite radio, nothing special, but music really does affect how we feel sometimes. It's good because I was starting to worry about Tuesday already, when I'll be heading to the DMV for half the day for my photo ID picture taking. Sitting there waiting is not easy for anyone, let alone someone with anxiety and panic attacks, so I'm just trying to prepare by having a book and my phone ready to distract myself. No blog post Tuesday, will be decompressing LOL, and spending my photo-and-note-taking time dealing with bureaucracy instead. The Saturday Sale Goodies

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're taking a look at several more gifts from TSS Party Extravaganza, which is The Saturday Sale's 11th anniversary celebration. They are all free for the taking, either set for sale for $0L or click the box to claim, with a few being pay $1L and receive an instant refund while the gift is delivered to you. There are black boxes and pinstripe pink ones, with a few designers being kind enough to offer a gift inside each :) We all know by now how awesome the weekly sales offerings are at these participating stores, and it's so fun to see what's new each round. I feel like this is one of the earliest weekly sales events, and I'm impressed with their longevity and wish them many more years of bringing us the best of SL, affordably!

First up, I've just got to share the [aprelle] anya outfit gift since spooky season is just about here :) The tank top, cardigan, and shorts are all provided in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Peach, Reborn, Juicy Boobs, and Waifu mesh body sizing. The solid pale orange top looks great with the pattern on the cardigan and shorts, which reminds me of the jack o lantern pails we used to carry for Halloween when I was a kid :) They even have bows on their handles, so cute!

Bipolar is offering a terrific gift called Iris Set - Black. We receive sizes for Legacy, Nerido, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy Boobs mesh bodies each of the top and panties, with HUDs to customize the look. The top's HUD has 2 metals and 15 textures for the details (trim) both solid and a few subtle patterns, while the panty HUD offers the same 15 details textures. As you can see from the rear view, the panties are actually a high cut thong. I really love the heart shaped clasps on the top's straps, so I am very tempted to pair the top with some pants for chilly weather outerwear.

Next we have the charming .:Le Moon:. Mina Set gift, a pairing of tank top and mini skirt with HUDs to adjust the colors. There are sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, and 3 HUDs - top and skirt HUDs with 10 colors apiece, and a metals HUD with 2 choices for the chains in the skirt slit. The skirt is distinctively different than other similar versions of this outfit I've seen, as it is much shorter and sheer due to the intricate cutout pattern. 

This gorgeous dress is our Crypt Keepers // No. 19 // Maggy Silk Dress gift, and I cannot wait to wear it somewhere fun this weekend :) We receive Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizes, all with that great single sleeved style that has a bare midriff and dramatic diagonal hemline. Now I just need some emerald earrings and either matching or neutral shoes and I'm ready for the weekend.

My final look of the evening is the UC Summapaty dress white gift from United Colors. The gift consists of the strapless dress and underwear, each in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Perky Petite, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, plus two HUDs. The one for the dress has buttons to turn the sheerness on and off and the materials on/off, then the underwear HUD has tabs for panty and edges each with 12 textures which are a mix of solid colors and floral prints. I kept the dress sheer on both sides above to show you the panties a little better, lol, but I'm sure you can imagine the dress in its solid opaque state :) 

Well, the weekend here looks to be stormy off and on because of Helene, which doesn't change my plans very much since I am usually home on Saturdays and have therapy Sunday which is either in my dining room or in the car. Dinner was nice, we celebrated my dad's birthday a few days belatedly :) I almost choked laughing when my mom dryly announced that she didn't have 81 candles for his cake, as usually that is more his sense of humor than her bubbly nature.
