Hiya everyone! Tonight we are going to explore some more prizes from the Finders Keepers St. Patricks Hunt, which has a few days remaining since it runs until the 24th. So far I have mostly shared clothing prizes, but there are several hair designers' stores on the hunt path too. All of tonight's photos include some brand new makeup too, another terrific hunt prize, so lets get right to those images.
Naturally I am wearing some clothing tonight, LOL, the very sexy gift from ~Nerido~ called Anatra Dress (Maitreya) St. Patricks Hunt. There are green and white versions, each in a Maitreya size, and there is a pair of panties beneath that is also Maitreya sized. I accessorized with the Violetility Leprechaun Necklace, their prize for this fun hunt. I think it looks pretty with our dress, and will go nicely with anything you choose to wear it with as well. My hair here is the gift from Sintiklia called Chris and is especially for this hunt, with a Bento fitted version and an unrigged resize version. There is a materials on/off button HUD and a color HUD with 4 shades to choose from, the two seen here plus green and white. I think we all need a fantastic ponytail like this, with such delicate wisps along the hairline that give it a very realistic look.
Olive has very generously included two fatpacks in their hunt prize, and I had a great time experimenting with them to select which colors to display them in. The left side of this photo is the Aime Hair, with a color from the Crazy Glitter color HUD. On the right, we see the Meme Hair in streak version (in this case, the right half of the hair is the 'streak' for tinting purposes) colored with the Red Heads HUD. Each style includes the regular and streaks version, with color HUDs for Blondes, Brunettes, Bubble Goth, Color Fades, Colors, Crazy Glitter, Dark Fades, Greyscale, Naturals, and Red Heads. This is a wonderful opportunity to find your favorite Olive shades and try out two fantastic styles for free.

RAMA.SALON has a lovely bun with bangs and looooong side wisps as their prize inside the pot of gold, their Marisa Hair which is an exclusive for this hunt. It includes Small, Medium, and Large sizes and a resize HUD, and there are plenty of color HUDs too: Blacks, Blondes Dark, Blondes Light, Blondes Pale, Browns Dark, Browns Deep, Browns Light, Color Ombre 1-5, Color Ombre 6-10, and Reds. Each HUD offers 5 shades and 2 roots versions, so 15 possibilities per HUD.
I slipped back into the ponytail from Sintiklia (first image, Chris Hair) so you could see my eyes without any hair in the way, because now it is time for me to show off the wonderful gift from LIVIA. The eyeshadow and nails are both included, and are each called Envy. Our trio of eye makeup styles (love that glitter on the top left!) are provided in system layers plus HUDs for Catwa, Lelukta, and Omega which is the one I am wearing. The cat eye liner is always a little higher on my GA.EG head than most vendor images, so your flick of liner will probably extend out towards your temple more. The nails have 5 designs, including a solid gold not shown and two Maitreya mixes, and they are all on a HUD that is compatible with Slink, Omega, Maitreya, and Vista. Green and gold make for such a stunning combination that this can be enjoyed year round with your favorite wardrobe items for any season. I also greatly appreciate having my eyes and nails coordinated perfectly.
Today has been one of those days, with two winter storms combining in my exact area (thanks, Mother Nature...) for what is being called Snowmaggedon, Snowpocalypse, all those cute irritating nicknames that just make me want to hide in a toasty warm blanket fort for a few days. There was a map released of possible power outages in my region, and guess who is right smack dab in the most likely spot? While I do have a generator, it has failed before and doesn't help with internet connectivity, so if that goes I will be out of luck. Xan will let you know if I'm out of commission, but I am keeping my fingers crossed for the 15" of snow predicted to be an exaggeration. Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is another fun-filled look at some prizes from the Hocus Pocus event in SL. Grab the HUD to help you teleport to each store (and it shows previews of the prizes) from the marketplace or event office for free, then at each location you will see a playful pumpkin named Pumpkin McExtra. Say "hocus pocus" to him in local chat, without the quotes, and he will either reward you with a prize or tell you to return in 24 hours to try again. Alternatively, you can purchase the prize for $50L until the event ends on the 5th of November. There are some fantastic gifts awaiting, you just need a little luck that Pumpkin McExtra is feeling generous.
First we have a flirty tube top from Faida which is simply called Hocus Pocus and comes in a single size that perfectly fits my Maitreya body. Check out that skull on the front, who seems to have been nomming on something or someone since he's got a bit of blood on his teeth. With all that exposed neck, I decided it was the perfect opportunity to show off another Hocus Pocus prize, the Goth1c0 Heart Choker purple. It has a resize script built in for easy adjusting, and I love the intricate carving surrounding the purple heart. That rose above and teardrop below are fantastic touches!
If the Pumpkin McExtra at Decoy is impressed by your magic, you will receive two shirts in one generous prize to enjoy for Halloween or whenever. On the left is Decoy Halloween Crop Top - Basic Witch, on the right their Halloween Crop Top - Pumpkin, each included in a Maitreya mesh size. A lot of these stores cater specifically to Maitreya wearers since they are such a large slice of the mesh body wearing population. You probably noticed the adorable collar I'm wearing, well that is our Hocus Pocus prize from Noyel called Spoopy Collar. The carved pumpkins as the O's in spoopy made me smile, and a clever match for the pumpkin version of the Decoy shirt.
I also found that the Pumpkin McExtra at Olive was in a good mood, so he gave me these terrific BunTEA Mugs to treasure. There are wearable and rezzable versions of each that you see here, and you might notice that they are steaming hot so be careful ;) The left hand version is the blue one with white bunny head marshmallows, and the right hand one has green marshmallows floating inside so I wonder if they are mint flavored. The tea bag tags are adorable, aren't they? They do have hold poses built in too, so you don't spill your tasty new beverage.
This gift cracked me up, and after yesterday's post with my explanation about choosing to censor myself a bit (nipple coverage) it was all too appropriate that I won the prize from Little Llama today. This is their Censored outfit, with 3 different shades (I am wearing the second, untinted) that are tintable and unrigged so you can modify them as needed, and it is worth mentioning that the texture is animated so those little pixels move around. This makes for a hilariously sexy Halloween costume, or just something to enjoy when you feel mischievous.
There are a few nail related prizes in this year's round of Hocus Pocus, and I am delighted to show you one tonight :) This is the Dark Passions - Koffin Nails - Fatpack - Mischievous Binx, and that includes appliers for Maitreya, Slink, and Omega. Each HUD has these 6 designs to choose from, various background colors for a black cat with glowing yellow eyes who was probably named for Binx from the Hocus Pocus movie. I was going to wait for Halloween to watch, but I might have to indulge a day early, too tempting!
Today I mostly rested, and am still having plenty of coughing fits but I think my throat feels a little better and my sinuses might be a bit clearer. Hiya everyone! It is a humid night here, but the weekend weather looks fairly nice so that is a relief. Some days are easier than others when it comes to deciding what to blog, and I tend to go on instinct, which led me to the Marketplace today for more seasonal goodies. The Pulse Fundraiser is still on my mind and is on my nails as well, as you will soon see...another item whose proceeds go to helping those in Orlando. I even found some related items on the marketplace, which shows that plenty of people believe in love and caring.
Let's get this party started with a sexy bikini that would be great for a beach party or pool party this weekend. This is a gift on the marketplace from Kona Beach, their Stars and Stripes, which includes a male and a female swimsuit. The ladies' gift includes system layers, appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, and the bows you see on each hip along with bows for the back of the top (not shown, hidden in my hair LOL). Very generous as well as a flattering suit.
My next look is also from the marketplace, starting with the crop top from Kandee's Fashions called Blue USA Crop Top. It comes in plenty of mesh sizes, including 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, and would probably work well layered over the bikini from the first photo if you want a bit more coverage of the underboob area. The jeans are also a fun marketplace find, the Delizio Jeans and Appliers for Maitreya and Omega. These versatile wardrobe staples come in a wide variety of colors: light blue as shown, blue, cream, black, green, lilac, pink, pink pinstripe, and white. You get the whole fatpack for free!
As I mentioned, there are a few free gifts on the marketplace that are honoring Orlando, and I am delighted to show two of them here. The shirt is Dream Decosta's #PrayForOrlando Crop Tank, in several mesh sizes including standard, fitted, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and Slink Hourglass. The front reads "More Love Less Hate" and the back (hiding beneath my hair) reads "#PrayForOrlando". My necklace is a marketplace gift from JCNY, a longtime staple in the jewelry world of SL, and is called Peace To Orlando Pride Necklace. There is a bling script that is easily turned off (just type bling off in local chat), a built in resize script, and a texture change menu for the cord. Such an attractive gift, and it is a thoughtful tribute.
My final look for the evening is the wonderful Rainbow Heart collection by Bella Elephante, which is a 100% donation item at the Pulse Fundraiser. For $125L you get the Slink HUD with 10 colors each adorned with a rainbow heart, and you can enjoy the knowledge that your lindens are well spent as a full donation to Equality Florida.
Hair note of the night: my lovely new locks are from the Midnight Mania board at the newly reopened Olive Hair, a full fatpack called Melody with several color HUDs to suit your every mood. As you can tell, I had a great time with them :) No group is needed, and there are three lucky boards there as well so you could wind up with a few new styles.
My houseguest for the long weekend is nearly here, so my weekend will be a busy but entertaining one. The Hair Fair is still going strong, and there are so many generous gifts for their 10th anniversary that I am just spending a few days sharing random sneak peeks of them with you, one sim at a time. Tonight's lovely presents can all be found on the Noirette Sim, and there is a handy dandy map on their blog with a list of stores so you know who can be found where. Well, let's have a look, shall we?
The first gift I'm sharing is not only a beautiful style, but a fun color that really grabs your attention! This is from Clawtooth and is called Misty Day in Plum Forgot, a very clever color name.
This sexy style can be found in the gift from .Olive. and is called the Steamer Hair, this is Satin and it is also included in Nior which is a dramatic black. Both colors come in a size called Bewbies, so it should fit over your mesh enhancements. I love the look of long wavy hair draped over one shoulder.
Alice Project has been wonderfully generous to us, giving us 6 different hairstyles with HUDs to adjust colors and streaks to our liking. The three I am showing from left to right are: Amy Mini Medley, Celeste II Mega Pack, and Poison II Mini Medley. The other gifts included but not shown are called Angelique Mini Medley, Indigo Mini Medley, and Julie Mini Medley. On the left, on Amy, I didn't use the streak option but I added another prize altogether; those adorable kitty ears are actually the gift from Mystic Tiger and come with a HUD for 5 different ear/band colors. It would work nicely with a wide variety of styles.
This sassy style is going to get a great deal of wear, as it happens to come in my preferred auburn with that pretty fade to nearly blonde. This gift is courtesy of Mithral and is named Magnesium, and also comes in a Busty size for those who need it. Please take note of my lovely earrings, well the one you can see, as they are the anniversary gift from eXxEsS. They come in light and dark, the light are shown and the dark is nearly black, very elegant.
This stunning style is our gift from Exile, called Jack or Jill All or Nothing. The first half of the name references the good news that there is a Jack male version included along with the Jill for the ladies, and the All or Nothing is the plethora of HUDs included for just about any color you can imagine! On the left I am showing the Prism color from the Wild Fusion 2 HUD, on the right is Teak from the Browns HUD with color streaks from one of the dots that surround each color circle. Play with the HUDs and have fun finding your favorite colors or combinations. Our final look this evening is a very cute style for summer, Despina Mega Pack from Tameless. There are several different hairs (wigs?) included, just pop one on and click it for the menu of specific color choices. Shown is the sandy blonde from the Blondes, and the others are All Colors, Blacks and Whites, Blues and Greens, Browns, Goths, Pinks and Purples, and Reds, each with their own menu of choices. Good news, that headband is color change also so you can match it to your outfit.
My outfit note of the night is that I didn't find any clothing on the Noirette Sim as a gift, so I am wearing a pretty paisley printed dress that is a marketplace freebie from Encore. I figured the strapless style would work best with a wide variety of hairstyles, and the delicate colors and paisley pattern wouldn't distract from the hair but still look pretty. Nails and skin are the same as the previous nights, keeping it simple :)

Hiya everyone! It's time for some more amazing goodies from the Wayward Hunt, which I cannot possibly say enough good things about. Generous designers, fantastic gifts of all types, it's like Christmas and some birthdays rolled into one! Let's have a few more peeks, shall we?
I absolutely adore this outfit from NYU! This nude floral blouse and nude skater skirt are both mesh and the lovely belt is attached to the skirt. I couldn't resist showing the bow in the back, what a sweet touch. My necklace (see the little close up in the middle) is from [atooly] and is one of 2 in their prize, both puzzle pieces. I've blogged the shoes already but I do love them too, lol, they are the prize from Essenz.
This comfy casual shirt is the prize from M. Birdie Story, and the hair is also a prize, this one from Oleander which comes with a HUD for a few other 'dipped' color choices. My cute purse is one of three included in the prize from Luxe, they look the same but one has no built-in pose whereas the one I'm showing you is pose #2 (yes, you also get pose #1). The soft floral print is so pretty!
I couldn't resist this chance to show you one of the furniture prizes along with hair and clothing :) This beautiful bench is from Kalopsia and you get a menu with 10 different single person poses in it. The pillow and blanket make it look so cozy, don't they? Land Impact is only 3 for this bench. My cute striped shirt is one of 3 colors included in the prize from (MORAN), and the lovely hair is one of 3 colors of The Wicking Hair by .Olive. My necklace isn't as noticeable as I'd have liked (even if you click the photo to see it full size) so I'm glad I took a closer picture:
This oh-so-fun necklace is the prize from Moon Amore, called the Traveler Necklace, and has a wonderful HUD to change the colors of the metal, the beads, and the strings. So versatile!
One last photo for the night, here we have the prize from GAJA called Revolution Dress Basic, and it says "Face it You Basic". My hair (sorry that it's hiding the words somewhat) is the lovely gift from Moon, and comes with several color HUDs that each include glittery versions of each color. Fun!! Speaking of fun, how about my little storm cloud purse? That is the prize from Reign, and comes with a HUD to change the cloud and the edging to various colors. My lipstick is one of the 5 included in the prize from PICHI, this one is called Superstay Lipstick in Pink Plaid. It does include a HUD for TMP. One last hunt prize to mention, the nose chain, is one of several variations included in the generous prize from Keystone. You'll find a left, right, and double of each metal: dark gold, gold, iron, onyx, and silver.
A few things I did not mention, the hair in the very first picture is not from the hunt but is from a sale...Ploom is having a 50% off retirement sale, and I couldn't resist visiting :) The hair I'm wearing is Celeste in reds, and was $100L so a nice sale price for sure.
