Footloose and FabFree

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am pleased to show you some FabFree group gifts from various wonderful designers across the grid. The free to join FabFree in SL group is the in-world component of the FabFree blog, which has been a consistent source of news and guides to gifts, sales, and events for well over a decade. They have inspired me on many occasions and I have always appreciated them :) All you need to do to claim these gifts is to visit each store, follow the red arrow/beacon from your map to the gift, and give it a click with your group tag active. It is easy and very worthwhile, as you can see from this post and from taking a look at their group gift listing on the website. 

My first visit was to [Sexy Princess] where I claimed their Mara Dress, a strapless mini with round cutouts at the hem and a fun pattern. The dress and harness are separates, each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizing. As you can see, I wore the harness on the left but slipped out of it on the right, to show you what it looks like without, since it really does look great either way.

Next we have some flirty lingerie from D!vine Style, one of many gifts to be found there for different groups. This is their Victoria Set 2, consisting of the bra and panty in 4 styles, each as system/BOM layers and Omega appliers. On the left I am wearing the sweets mix bra and country charms panty, while you can see the evening chill bra and faded blue panty on the right. Mix and match and have fun with these wonderfully patterned undergarments, as I will :)

I also visited BYRNE, who is offering a fatpack of corsets with coordinating panties for the Maitreya body. Their SooCatCorset2020-FATPACK includes 5 color combinations of the corset, each with or without the word FREAK across the front and all in Maitreya sizing, plus the black latex panties as a BOM layer and an applier for Maitreya and Omega. That is a fierce image on the front, balanced by lace and bows for a feminine yet powerful appearance.

I got quite a kick out of our whimsical gift from Dressed by Lexi, their ::DBL:: Pajama Party PJs ~ Pillow Fight Champ. The cozy looking sleep shirt comes in fitmesh standard sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine body sizing, and there are two masks provided too - over eyes and on the forehead (shown). I look like I'm expecting a competitor to pounce on me here, don't I? There used to be a popular gift to pass around among friends that was a scripted pillow that poofed feathers when you clicked to hit someone, which this made me think of even though I haven't seen it in years. Fond memories :)

My final look of the evening is the versatile gift from BWC named Anny Outfit. The dress and panties (they are under there, even if you can't see them) comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, while the shoes are sized for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High feet. The choker and bracelet are provided too, and there is a HUD with a color wheel to click and tint the dress in any color you can dream up, and two texture buttons. The fringe panel on the front of the dress is such a fun detail, and always makes me think of going dancing.

It is a warm and rainy night here, and I am working on plans for my next few blog posts. There are many possibilities, and then a new month will be starting that will bring fresh rounds of events and hunts so plenty of potential. Home Sweet Home

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am featuring some more Stay at Home Club gifts, with an update on the status of the club. They have announced on their website that they will be closing down the site, in-world group, discord channel, etc. on September 25th which is exactly 6 months after its opening. That is a very long time for the organizers to have kept this going, and I have been so impressed with their kindness in doing so. The fact that they had to deal with harassment makes me sad, but I still appreciate them and everyone who was supportive of their efforts. We have just under 3 weeks remaining then to peruse the bounty of fantastic gifts, and visit the stores to pick up the ones we desire. I will show you more here and there too, with the closing date in mind. Tonight's visits included two stores that were new to me, noteworthy as the introductions to stores I had not experienced yet was a true bonus these past several months. 

My first stop was a familiar one, the wonderful *Lurve* where you can claim their Bunny Hugs Mini as their Stay at Home Club gift. Please pay the vendor $1L, which will be immediately refunded while you receive the gift in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine body sizing. Those drawings of the tutu-clad bunny and bear hugging are simply too cute! 

::Multi Design:: also has a flirty treat for us, called Adriana Gift Dress. It has daring cutouts in the front and sides, and is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. The HUD offers 40 texture choices broken down to 10 colors each in categories of solid, pattern, lace-1, and velvet, with each having a color for the trim, and a set of 10 lace edging colors for the hem. There are also 3 metals for the rings and buttons in the middle. That is a lot of versatility! 

I have always been intrigued by one piece swimsuits that had openings that made them appear more like two pieces linked together, so this gift from Created by Peacy Design certainly caught my eye. It is called CrissCross Swimsuit Coconut, and includes sizes for Alice, Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies. The colors make me think of nature, mainly sand and palm trees.

Next I visited Dressed by Lexi, where I eagerly picked up their ::DBL:: Love Floral Dress gift. The dress comes in a fitmesh size for classic avatars, as well as versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. There are also two pairs of sleeves included, floral sleeves and dot sleeves, although I am wearing one on each side of the image above and could not notice a difference. They do add some movement to the shoulders, and you can easily wear this dress with or without the sleeves depending on your personal preferences. 

For my final look this evening, I visited Rogue Echo again, as I saw on the Stay at Home website that they'd added a new gift since I last stopped by. This is their 4th gift for us, called {RE} Sky Outfit. It wears as one piece with the look of two, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The halter top has a very classy flavor, while the decorated back pockets on the pants lean towards the fun and casual. I am very grateful for all of their gifts.

For a split second I had no idea what day of the week it was anymore (again), if that gives you an idea of how weirdly time is behaving for me lately. My day was not particularly noteworthy, so I am simply looking forward to my time in SL and a little more Twisted hunting :) Because there are side hunts and the prizes are not very easy to find, it will take Xan and me quite a while yet to complete the hunt, and then the end game will drive us both batty. Teamwork makes the dream work though, LOL, and we will get through it all one way or another. Then I will have lots of twisted prizes to show you. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have several exciting things to show you, starting with some FabFree group gifts. That would be the Fabulously Free in SL group, inworld presence of the blog by the same name, whose group is free to join. The group tag entitles you to a bevy of generous gifts from many participating designers, and all you need to do is check their group gift listing to see what's available. The blog itself is such a helpful source of information about events and sales too, I have been a fan for many years. I am also a longtime admirer of the Entice store, so much so that I am proudly a member of their blogging team :) Tonight's enticing look will be their newest Saturday Sale offering, helping you look sexy at an affordable price.

Our first stop this evening is Dressed by Lexi, where you can find a few different treats that can be combined for a fantastic look. The clothing is the FabFree gift, called DBL Taking Care of Business Set. Whew, it sure was a busy day or two...my dental appointment went pretty well, and I was impressed with how thorough their protocol is now for cleaning and keeping everyone safe from any illnesses. My hygienist is expecting a baby, and was telling me about her friends teasing her about her pandemic baby boom pregnancy and how she'd better not name the kid Corona or something like that. She has a good sense of humor for someone suffering through morning sickness ;) I had dinner with my parents tonight, and it was a nice visit as usual with pleasant conversations and tasty food. Speaking of tasty, I am looking forward to picking up some delicious goodies at the farmers market in the morning, so this headache of mine had better go away before then. Cart Sale Bargains and More!

Hiya everyone! I am very excited about The Wash Cart Sale, and I know I'm not alone in that feeling :) I got there so early after they opened that a few carts weren't even set up yet, but I know I will be back so it's not a big deal. Everything there is $10L or less, the bargains are absolutely amazing!! I also have some lucky board prizes to share, and even a dollarbie hunt prize, so let's have a look...

This sweet frock is a lucky board prize from **milky-way, at the soon-to-close Kiyomizu Mall. Several of the stores have set up lucky boards for the final days, and this lovely linen dress is one of the free gifts to be won. 

Another beautiful prize to wish a fond farewell to Kiyomizu Mall is this lucky board gift from [Le muguet] called *girly mood*. With the delicate lace layers and cute tube top, this sure does live up to its name! This includes a mesh top and skirt, along with a system layer for underneath the breasts, rather like a shelf bra, for added modesty just in case the mesh moves in a way you don't expect.

We can always rely on Somnia to provide wonderful gifts for any occasion, and the Cart Sale gave them a chance to share this pair of mesh Lumber Patch shirts with us for free. Standard mesh sizes in each lavender and peach are included, and I love the knot at the bottom. For my nails, I went with another favorite of mine at the Cart Wash, La Boheme, and one of their amazing sets of nails available for $10L. 

This is a better look at the various colors included in the [LB Persian Lace Gold] Slink manicure HUD on sale for a mere $10L. I love the stylish gold trim, and the 10 lovely base colors mean that you should be able to find something to work with any outfit. In the first two photos I went with the white from this HUD.

That dollarbie hunt I mentioned in the beginning of the post is the Fashion Play Hunt, which has paths for men and women, so there are plenty of possibilities for everyone :) I am wearing prize #2 from Dressed By Lexi, this stunning mesh gown which comes with standard mesh sizes and the bow shaped brooch for the bodice, separate so it can be worn with or without. I am showing off a couple more Cart Wash purchases with it, both from Nerdy Girl and both terrific :) My shoulder tattoo which says Always is a Harry Potter reference (the A is the Deathly Hallows symbol) and I am a huge fanatic of the series, so this tattoo made me ridiculously happy. I am showing the soft version but it also comes in Bold, and there are Omega and Slink appliers included for your $10L. My nails are even a Harry Potter homage, closer look below.... 

If you have seen the movies and/or know the books, you will recognize the color schemes here as being representative of the school houses. I wore Ravenclaw blue above, here it's still on my thumb but more visible are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, and the Deathly Hallows symbol on my ring finger. Just $10L for this terrific HUD!

More enMESHed Into Summer

Hiya everyone! I have some more treasures to share from the enMESHed Into Summer Hunt with all of you, it's an enjoyable hunt for variously colored popsicles in about 55 different stores. What delights are hiding in the free goodies? I have given you a glimpse yesterday, and here's another glimpse for tonight...

This amazing outfit is from Dressed by Lexi, #37 in the hunt, and includes a crop top and skirt in standard mesh sizes along with a system layer tube top and panties for extra security. I accessorized with prize #23 from Freya's Finest Jewels, the lovely mesh anchor earrings and necklace. The blues of the dress work well with the nautical theme of the jewelry.

If you'd like something in a darker blue, we have this very bold skirt set from Vero Modero #34 in the hunt. This is the Duo Set in Blue, and the modern styling is quite chic.

One of our stores, Cosmo Chic, has 2 different locations in the hunt, and this is their prize #48 simply called Summer Short Set. I love the colors, and it's sweet but sexy with the high waist and open front top, and those ruffles and the little bow are wonderful!

The other location of Cosmo Chic is hiding this fun outfit in their #49 popsicle. It's called Mandy Summer Skirt Set and the colors are so reminiscent of sand and surf to me. The skirt and top each come in standard mesh sizes.

Finally we have this exquisite, gauzy looking mesh dress from Paisley Daisy #38. It's named Daisy Dabs White Gown, and the detailed texturing is really quite remarkable. This makes me think of a sunset cruise in a peaceful bay or harbor setting, with a cool glass of champagne and a gentle breeze to usher in the night.

My nail note of the night is a special one and VERY limited time! I'm such a huge fan of their nails, and eagerly jumped at the chance to pick up a freebie :)

More Summer Magic

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have part 2 of the Welcome To Summer Hunt, lots of goodies to enjoy. Just keep looking for that delicious looking blended drink :)

This prize from Kitties Petite Dreams (#11) is called American bikini with acc, and apparently the 'acc' is the accessories which include the sunglasses and flip flops :) I edited the position of the flip flops to work with Slink flat feet, but they're probably meant for default avatar feet. As you can see from the side/rear view, that is a thong under the denim shorts, so for some family friendly sims you might need to leave the shorts on. The front of the thong has an American flag to match the bikini cups. Now the beach ball jewelry I'm wearing is a separate prize from Dressed by Lexi, who are #15 in the hunt. That includes the necklace, belly piercing, and earrings that you can't really see but feature the same colorful beach ball. 

My very pretty dress, short in the front and a bit longer in the back but still summery, is from MadCatCreations, and they are #16 according to the hunt blog. Words of warning here, I found 3 different hunt items (that fruity drink) in different buildings of the store and one was set for $1L but the other two were for free, and all contained the exact same prize. So I recommend that if you find the $1L first, keep looking and grab a $0L one instead!! It is supposed to be a $0L hunt so I'm not suggesting anything shady or trying to cheat anyone out of any lindens, rather trying to save you from spending an unnecessary linden :) My necklace is a unisex surfer necklace from !IT! and contains a resize menu. You can get a better view of the pretty seashell in the inset of the picture, also the lovely beads. They are #17 in the hunt.

How gorgeous is the color of this dress? :) Unfortunately it did serve to remind me that photographing flexi skirts and sleeves is a real challenge, I'd be embarrassed to admit how long it took me to find the right pose. Second life first world problems?? LOL! This is prize #12 from SweetRed's Designs, and is great if you don't care for mesh and don't use mesh bodies or bits. The floaty nature of the skirt definitely speaks to the summer theme of the hunt.

I headed home to show you the things that needed to be rezzed out, and returned to the outfit from photo 1 above. This is the prize from Whimsical Happenings #18, and includes the sweet butterfly bench (4 poses) and matching plant, and even the Porch Rules wall art behind me. I really love this generous prize and would gladly follow all the porch rules :)

One final goodie I'd like to share with you from this hunt is the prize from Carnal Cabal, #6 in the hunt, and their clever firefly jars. Rez them on the ground, right click and the menu will offer you a choice to "relax", this cute pose holding the jars and lids is the result. It is BRIGHT, like a facelight convention bright, but that's what fireflies do, they light up :) The lids say Fire Flies, and there are a few spots of light (above and to the right of the jar in my hands, you can see one) reminiscent of the little cuties. In my neck of the woods, we call them lightning bugs, but by any name they are the source of some fond childhood memories (catch and release!) and seeing them each year is a reassuring sign of warmer weather arriving.

Nail notes for tonight, I've used the Nail It Good! prizes that I blogged yesterday, details as always in the credits. Hair note, I did indulge in some retail therapy and bought myself a new hairstyle after a stressful day, and it did actually help a bit. Full price unfortunately, but I decided I am worth it, as are all of you :)

Today is one of those days where I need to remind myself to think positive, find the happy moments to treasure, and hug someone you care about :) Virtual hugs count, so consider yourselves all hugged!!
