Hiya everyone! Today is another fun post of Advent Calendar prizes from across the grid, either no group needed to claim or a tag from a group that is free to join. This is such an exciting time of year in SL, and I am thrilled to be able to show you some of the many goodies involved.
This gift from Eclectic Stars made me laugh, and earwormed me so I'm still humming the song to myself right now while writing this ;) Another fun fact is that in order to claim this Snuggly - Gingy sweater in standard mesh sizes, you will need to click the right day on the Advent calendar with a picture of Deadpool laying seductively in front of a fireplace. That makes me giggle too, it's a win-win!
I love the bright green of this Make Me dress by Entice, their Advent gift which does need a free group tag then just pay today's bauble $1L and it will be immediately refunded. You will receive this intriguing Emerald dress in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya only, probably because a classic avatar with an alpha layer would be extremely tricky with those round openings. Today I am wearing my Slink Physique body and it fit wonderfully.
Sweet Revolutions is another free group to join, and they have several participating designers in their Advent calendar which will have you searching their lovely land for gift wrapped presents with a date written on them. Today, there are 3 for the 6th because of St. Nick's Day, celebrated in their homelands, and this is the dress from Independent Objects. Their *IO* Forgotten Stars Dress is a striking look, with a bared shoulder/arm on one side and bared leg on the other. I also love the scattering of stars upon the fabric. he gown is provided in standard mesh sizes with corresponding alpha layer.
I took this opportunity to show you a few of the advent prizes I have been wearing for all of these photos, let's start with the pretty skin from 7 Deadly s{K}ins. This is their Feeb's Fabienne skin in Apricot, and those adorable dimples are one of my favorite features. I'm also loving the subtle nude lips in a perfect shape, and the soft brown eyebrows that do not overwhelm the face. This skin comes in system with and without cleavage, and appliers for Phatazz, Slink total body, and Tango. The group is free to join for the remainder of the month, just wear your tag and pay today's present $1L to be reimbursed and receive the daily gift. The eyes are today's Inkheart beauties, their Tender Eyes in Eternity. 4 sizes in system and mesh versions as with all their advent gifts, and the group tag needed is free to join. One more group not to miss is Hello Dave, whose nails have been featured countless times on my blog and will certainly appear many more times. This is today's December 6th HUD for Slink and Omega, 5 designs including 2 different giftwrapped looks plus a deep silver glitter, solid satin black, and the palest blue on my pinky up there.
One last look of the day, this is from the KittyCatS! advent calendar which I was so pleased to see returning this year, it has been a favorite of mine for several years. Today's gift is from Hilly Haalan, their stunning Sia Dress with its sheet of long luscious fringe down the front. The dress itself has a leathery look to it and some flattering seams to help shape it. The gift includes sizes for standard, Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, and TMP so you should be able to get a fantastic fit. The KittyCatS advent calendars can be found at many different locations (most of the participating designers' stores) but I have linked their mainstore location in the credits. It wasn't there the first day or two, so I had been going to La Boheme to pick up my gifts.
This is quite a week for me....today we are getting our Samsung washer repaired due to a recall because it seems they explode too, it's not just their dang phones!! Apparently there have been impact injuries from these explosions, and I had noticed it can be extremely loud sometimes. They apparently need a few hours so it seems pretty detailed. Tomorrow I have an appointment so I will probably blog hunt prizes but not Advent goodies (too time limited) in the late evening instead of before the appointment.

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more prizes to share from the Twisted Hunt, the tantalizingly challenging free gridwide hunt with lots and lots of gold and black boxes. Many stores provide additional mini hunts, sometimes in mazes or additional challenges like that, and the gifts are truly worth the trouble. Prizes are either unisex or female and male, so get your friends of any gender, size, or species together to help each other though this one!
My first look is the dramatic gown from {Acios} who are #24 in the hunt path. Their gift includes the alluring mesh dress draped over one shoulder, across one breast, and around the waist, in standard sizes. There is also a system layer shown with bra cups, and appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. I love the subtle pattern on the edges, the cube itself making an appearance.
Next we have a stunning little number from Independent Objects #25, the *IO* Kassandra Dress. I couldn't help but notice the shoulders having intricate feathers adoring them, one of a host of terrific details to be found here. This simply comes in 3 sizes: Classic, Maitreya, and Slink. I'm wearing the classic and it worked out wonderfully.
For another glimpse of Greek mythology brought to modern SL, we head to Mishmash Fusion for a tongue-in-cheek mini hunt inspired by the legend of Circe. She was said to have used a potion to turn men into pigs, so the store is currently home to dozens and dozens of swine. Apparently Odysseus was warned that she may steal his manhood if he didn't make her swear on the names of the gods not to do so, and this is referenced by the mini hunt here since you'll be looking for two, umm, manhoods ;) One of them contains this gorgeous toga and the stiletto sandals shown for Slink high. Each are provided in several sizes for a great fit.
My last look of the night can be found at #30, GET FROCKED, and is their Twisted Hunt Retro Dress FitMesh. 5 different sizes are included, and there are plenty of charming details to catch the eye here especially that gorgeous texture and the sharp attached belt.
Nail note of the night: I am wearing a few different options from the Tykhe main prize, Twisted Gold Nails for Slink, which has 5 different designs to choose from. Well it has been a full, busy day here but definitely an enjoyable one. I went to several different places, then had one of my computer gurus (aided by another guru, LOL, teamwork!) try to resolve my tech issues so my fingers are crossed that updating everything and cleaning things up will get this clunker running smoothly again :) Fingers crossed, toes crossed, ankles crossed, whatever helps!! As the holidays approach faster and faster, I am quite happy to be able to share some Wash Cart Sale bargains with you, and some Advent gifts to reward yourself for saving all that money :) Nothing at the cart sale is over $10L and there's a huge selection, so visit before January 6th and you can stock up on all your favorites.
First the cart sale bargains :) I am wearing the Houndstooth Dress w/ HUD from The Little Bat, and I am a big fan of theirs so it didn't surprise me that they have such a pretty dress with a bit of an edge on offer, and $10L would be a startlingly low price if not for the Cart Sale. The HUD has 8 color choices for the skirt, each with the black houndstooth pattern, and I chose to show you the red and the green because of my shoes. The adorable GingerB Black-Xmas shoes for Slink high by Lindy have lovely seasonal bows adorning them, just $10L for this attractive pair of heels.
Advent calendar time! We are almost running out of days on those calendars, where did the month go? This lovely dress is from *SOIR* and is their Luna Cocktail Dress in Black. Standard mesh sizes are included, and it's a lot more than just a basic black dress with its subtle texture and asymmetrical hemline. No group needed for this calendar.
Oooohh, isn't this an exquisite gift? Independent Objects is part of a trio of stores all offering Advent gifts in a winter wonderland, just join their free group and take the TP pad up to the beautiful snowy area and find today's gifts. The one from *IO* contains this gorgeous Liliana Fairy Outfit with its mesh dress in several sizes, plus the chest and leg attachments and the amazing wings. If you prefer a more simple look, you can wear just the dress, and you can see how that looks on the right. I love it either way, just depends on where you're going and what mood you might be in.
This may be the cutest Christmas outfit I've seen in ages, and all you have to do is join a free group to be able to claim this! Hurry though, it's the Roots & Wings advent gift for the 21st so it's hard to say how long before it gets changed out. This is called Rudolph Fuschia Outfit, and is packed with everything you need...the dress comes in 5 fitmesh sizes plus versions for Belleza, Slink, Slink Hourglass, and Maitreya. The stockings & heels are for classic avatar feet and come in 5 sizes each, left and right, and also included are the necklace and antlers. How sweet are those sleigh bells on the choker, and Rudolph's cheery little face on the antlers? :) I took this opportunity to show you two other Advent gifts I have been wearing all post, one of which would be the eyes from Inkheart. They are called Summer Dream Eyes in Mist, and they come in system and mesh versions with 3 sizes each. The group tag is needed but it is free to join, and there are group gifts near the entrance along with several lucky balloons around the store. My nails are a gorgeous set from Hello Dave, another free group tag is needed to claim these but OMG they are so well worth that! The next few days are going to be super busy for me, so I haven't quite figured out my blogging schedule yet. Hiya everyone! It is a lovely Sunday morning, unusually warm here for December, and I am pleased to have some terrific and generous Advent calendar gifts to show you today. If you'd like them for your own inventory, you will find details in the credits at the end, as always :)
First up, we have a versatile outfit that appears to be a former hunt prize, from *IO* Independent Objects. This is one of 3 stores who are a part of the Advent calendar hunt at Sweet Revolutions, and you'll need to claim a single free group to claim all 3 prizes for each day. TP up to the Advent area, which is a feast for the eyes, and just look around for the 3 boxes for the right date. Our lovely Witch of Gaia Dress comes in standard mesh sizes and has a HUD for 6 texture changes, 3 of which are mainly white and 3 black. They included a white pair and a black pair of boots for us, both for standard avatar feet so off came my usual Slinks for the moment. The details really add a special touch to this terrific gift.
In a case of misinformation being frustrating, I read that Cero Style was doing their Advent calendar for 12 days, so I went there this morning only to discover a full 24 day board so I've missed half the prizes >.< Lesson learned, I should check for myself next time. So their gift #13 is a mixed mesh outfit, the skirt is standard mesh sizes while the top is a system layer and the sleeves are flexi attachments. There is no group needed for this advent calendar.
Emerald Couture is offering this lovely outfit as one of their Advent Calendar gifts for today, their EC Leopard Rain. The dress comes in the usual mesh sizes, and the shoes are for Slink high. I couldn't resist sharing a closer look at their fun little details. I also wanted to show you a closer look at the eyes that are today's gift from Inkheart, Glass Eyes in Water. The pale color is really lovely, and I found they looked more blue or more green in various lighting and positions. You will need to be in their free group to claim these beauties.
GeMyles has their Advent gifts hidden all over, and this is the prize you will find if you locate today's gift box. This is their Hope Christmas Green Dress, and I adore the teardrop shaped cutouts on the sleeves. The pattern like little zigzags of sequins is lovely, too, and I think this dress made my eyes look more blue instead of the green I'd have expected.
A final glimpse for today is from Luziefee, who seems to be putting out just a few random Advent gifts and this is #3 which is a really unique dress with full long sleeves and a great Nordic sweater pattern. The dress is in standard mesh sizes, and there is an included scarf that the dress looks pretty with our without. I like how the dress is short enough to be playful, but with a modest neckline, and I feel like it has a 60s retro feel but with a modern twist.
Nail note: I am using the very lovely Hello Dave daily Advent HUD, this time a palette of 5 colors in patterns similar to that Nordic sweater style dress I showed last. Once again I had some trouble though, the HUD seems to want to double paint my nails from a single click and the second/final design it's applying isn't even supposed to be part of the HUD. I have the updated Slink hands with the Omega ability, and I'm wondering if they're conflicting somehow and the HUD is trying to apply something for the Slink part and something else for the Omega scripting. Either that or they're just possessed, hehe. It's unfortunate because they are really wonderful manicures. Speaking of wonderful, I have an old Truth Hair style on right now that I've had since it was a new release but now it's back in their Discount Room, so you can find Ricci for a bargain if you like it! There are optional flowers included too. Truth's subscribers received another gift last night by the way, long hair with a variety color HUD and it's got an attached beret with its own HUD for 3 colors in a snowflake pattern. Merry Christmas to all of us! <3

Hiya everyone! I found out about a hunt later than I'd have liked to, further into its timeframe at least, so if you like what you see tonight I am afraid you'll have to hurry. The Eternal Hunt is a HUD based journey starting at Fallen Gods Inc, and you will be following clues and TPing where the HUD leads you when you find each infinity symbol (a glowing blue figure-8) across the grid. Find them all and your HUD will direct you to the location of all the prizes, which is secret and therefore not in my credits. It is an entertaining trip through many beautiful stores and sims, and the prizes range from the clothing you see below to home decor, jewelry, music boxes, even a home or two :) We only have until the 21st to complete this hunt, so on to the goodies!
First we have one of the gifts from Independent Objects, their Gothic Floral Dress. It includes the mesh gown in standard sizes, plus system layer stockings and even the matching boots for default avatar feet.
We have another gift from Independent Objects shown here, the name is *IO* Taluna Aura and it includes several sizes for the mesh skirt but just the one size of top. In the photo boxed in with the outfit, the top matched the skirt exactly, and while that isn't the case here I do like it this way :) For modesty I would definitely wear a tiny pair of undies though.
Animations Rising provided a very generous gift, several silks outfits for both males and females. Above is their Rising Silks for Her- Flora (Iris), comprised of various individual parts that mean you can choose the amount of coverage you prefer, including a system layer set of modesty undies which I am wearing above (they are green leaves). There is also another Flora set called Hibiscus that is very similar to this beauty.
I took a moment to enjoy the fresh SL air, and to show you an adorable swing from United InshCon. This is their hunt prize, *UI* Book Swing, and the parts are linked so you should rez them in edit mode to allow you to move both parts together to adjust the location to your liking. The swing part wouldn't be able to swing independently if they were fully linked I believe. There are a few different animations in the menu for males or females, and the book lover in me truly appreciates the idea of being surrounded by favorite literature while enjoying the great outdoors.
You will definitely need to click this one to see it better...even so, I think you will have to see this in person to fully appreciate all the details! Let's start from the top, my hair is from EMO-tions and is called *LOVE_WAR*. It includes the horns as a separate (and therefore optional) addition, plus there is a HUD to change the jewel colors on the horns along with the hair itself to various tones of black and white. Next, I'm sure you can't help but notice the beautiful skin :) That is our gift from Fallen Gods Inc, called Sidera Starborn, and I am showing the female PG version but there is also a more anatomically correct version in the female box plus a separate male (XY) version. There are several appliers included, such as Loud Mouth, Omega, Soul Mer UniEar, Slink, TMP body/face, and Slink nails for hands and feet so your fingernails are the same dusky blue as your skin instead of being a traditional 'flesh' color. Finally, I am wearing another of Animations Rising's silks gifts, their Mythic for Her (also comes in a for Him version) which has attachments for the special effects on the left, don't they suit the skin well? The hands provide sparkle, the feet are the smoky look, and the shooting stars are from the stomach attachment I believe. On the right I took those off to focus on the silks themselves, skin and hair.
Whew, that was quite the explanation! My nail note of the night is quite simple, the Slink default HUD in all photos but the last. I really enjoyed this foray into what is less familiar territory for me, and I feel like stepping out of your comfort zone once in a while can be an amazing experience :) Well, it's definitely credits time, so me and my shorter, perkier, brighter colored hair wish you a beautiful day/evening.
